Zuo Wenyao and the others were keeping a close eye on Lin Xinghai, so they noticed the instant his medicinal absorption speed began to skyrocket.

Under their expectant gazes, Lin Xinghai’s medicinal absorption speed quickly increased from three times the normal rate to four, and then from four times to five.

Seeing such a dramatic increase, the three of them couldn’t help but exchange a look of utter surprise.

They quickly deduced from the fluctuations radiating from Lin Xinghai that he had likely condensed 10 points of Blood Qi Power right after his breakthrough. If not 10, then at least 9.

This was, without a doubt, another wonderful surprise for them.

And before they had even fully processed this surprise, they felt Lin Xinghai’s medicinal absorption speed increase yet again.

It had actually risen from five times the normal rate to six.

With this new increase in Speed, Zuo Wenyao didn’t sense any more of Lin Xinghai’s Blood Qi Power. Instead, he detected a unique Energy flowing.

He immediately concluded that Lin Xinghai had, in fact, awakened a Special Physique.

After reaching this conclusion, he felt a mix of joy and concern.

The joy, of course, was that his guess had been correct—Lin Xinghai had truly awakened a Special Physique. The concern, however, stemmed from the very same fact.

Since Lin Xinghai awakened his Special Physique only after studying the Thunder Divine Body, that meant his Special Physique was inevitably the one most suited for the Thunder Divine Body.

If Lin Xinghai could continue his Cultivation of the Thunder Divine Body, that would be the best possible outcome.

But if Lin Xinghai failed to break through to the Divine Demon Realm and had to switch to another Cultivation Technique, the Special Physique he had just awakened wouldn’t be compatible with other Divine Demon Body techniques, and its effectiveness would be drastically reduced.

’I hope you can pull off another miracle, kid!’ Zuo Wenyao thought.

Jian Hua, on the other hand, wasn’t thinking that far ahead. When he saw that Lin Xinghai had truly awakened a Special Physique and that his absorption speed had soared to six times that of others, his face lit up with unconcealable joy.

"This is fantastic! At his current Speed, he can definitely get his Thunder Divine Body Cultivation progress to 30% and complete the first stage of training."

"I just wonder how much further he can push the progress. It would be amazing if he could reach 40%, or even 50%," Jian Hua said with a cheerful laugh.

"You’re getting ahead of yourself," Wen Qiuying said, glancing at the Time. "There are only 20 minutes left. Completing the first stage of the Divine Demon Body is certainly not a problem. But breaking through the first stage’s bottleneck, even inside the Creation Blood Pool, will take at least five minutes."

"So, after he breaks through, there won’t be much time left. He’ll be able to push his progress by another 5% at most. In other words, his final Cultivation progress for the Divine Demon Body will likely be around 35%," Wen Qiuying analyzed coolly.

"Heh, even that would be a new record. It’s worth celebrating," Jian Hua said with a chuckle.

He even walked over to the coffee table in the corner of the room. While boiling some water, he rummaged around for tea leaves and said with a smile, "I’ve got some high-quality Longjing here. Would either of you like some?"

"We’re just standing around anyway. A cup of tea sounds nice," Zuo Wenyao said, nodding as he walked over.

He then started rummaging through the cabinet behind him as well. "Hey, how come it’s all tea? They should keep a few bottles of wine here for celebrating the birth of a genius."

The three of them continued to chat while they waited. Under normal circumstances, there really wasn’t much for them to do.

The coffee table was there specifically for mentors like them to rest and wait.

In fact, with the exception of Lin Xinghai, everyone else was proceeding with their Cultivation as expected. They had all entered the breakthrough stage now and would probably be finished in a few more minutes.

Since every single person selected was a genius, Zuo Wenyao and the others didn’t even need to worry about their chances of a successful breakthrough.

The only thing they could hope for was to see if anyone got lucky and had their Superpower reawaken, or awakened a Special Physique.

The minutes and seconds ticked by. In the blink of an eye, another five minutes had passed.

By now, half of the allotted time in the Creation Blood Pool had elapsed.

A few of the Special Class Students, like Liu Miaomiao, had already completed their breakthroughs. Their bodies were now rapidly absorbing the medicinal power from the pool water and undergoing transformation.

In a few more minutes, they would likely condense their Blood Qi Power and accelerate their medicinal absorption Speed.

As for the First Class Students, while their progress was a bit slower, they were also on the verge of breaking through the fourth Genetic Lock. A successful breakthrough was only a matter of time.

More than fifty people breaking through to the Blood Qi Realm simultaneously—a scene that would cause an unprecedented uproar in any medium-sized Shelter.

But here, Zuo Wenyao and the others merely gave a casual glance before turning their attention back to their teacups.
