Chapter 1974 - 1970: Journeying with Lan Jing
When Ye Fan saw Lan Jing, Lan Jing was cultivating under the cooperation of Xi He and the Dark Maiden.
With the careful guidance of two ancient powers, Lan Jing’s cultivation level improved quickly, but she never reached the pinnacle.
After Ye Fan arrived, Xi He and the Dark Maiden had already finished their work, and they were observing Ye Fan without knowing the purpose of his visit. Ye Fan asked, "How is the cultivation going?"

The Dark Maiden did not answer, as cultivating Lan Jing was not her initiative or volunteer effort; she was completely forced by Ye Fan to do it.

"I understand," Ye Fan said, glancing at the few people and said, "I now plan to take Lan Jing to Pan Gu’s secret realm."
The Dark Maiden said, "Why are you taking her to Pan Gu’s secret realm? It’s not a place for her cultivation. Didn’t you say future cultivation would always stay on Earth?"
Ye Fan coldly said, "Originally, I didn’t need to give you any explanation. Now I can tell you that I’m taking her to find clues about the seventh crystal. "This place... is so strange," Lan Jing said.
"Try to hold your breath and concentrate," Ye Fan guided Lan Jing further into the Death Sea, intending to visit the original place where he discovered the seventh crystal’s clue, hoping to find if any small crystal responds to Lan Jing’s power.
Unfortunately, upon arriving, they had searched everywhere around and found no clues.
Lan Jing said, "Ye Fan, I’m feeling very uncomfortable here, and I don’t know why. Can we return to the surface?"
"You’re uncomfortable?" Ye Fan quickly sensed it might be some power inside Lan Jing being suppressed by a power in the Death Sea. He nodded, "Let’s go back to the surface!"
As they were leaving, suddenly Ye Fan sensed a wave of slight energy in the distance. Although this wave lasted just an instant, Ye Fan managed to capture it, and its energy source bore a resemblance to the "seventh crystal" he suspected before.
"Seems like we found it," Ye Fan said.
Lan Jing didn’t have as high a cultivation level as Ye Fan and couldn’t detect any clues. When Ye Fan mentioned finding it, she still felt discomfort within her body.
