Pan Gu indeed has no way to deal with Nuwa. He could kill Nuwa, but he won’t because he believes Nuwa still holds some value.

Fu Xi spoke with his eyes closed the whole time. He didn’t want to see Nuwa’s reaction, because to Fu Xi, Nuwa was still very important, much like Pan Gu said; he was indeed reluctant in his heart.

Nuwa showed a disdainful smile and said, "You’ve learned to speak on my behalf now, but it seems more like you’re speaking for Ye Fan. You know Pan Gu won’t kill Ye Fan. How could he stop the heavenly catastrophe without Ye Fan? Now that Ye Fan can evade his surveillance, it indicates Ye Fan might be using some power from the heavenly catastrophe. Yet he still comes to me, thinking I did something—how ridiculous and laughable!"

Pan Gu’s face was very dark as he stood there without saying anything for a long time.

After some time, Pan Gu seemed to have made up his mind and said, "Now I don’t care much about whether Ye Fan lives or dies. I’ve faced the heavenly catastrophe once; I don’t believe I can’t handle it this time. I don’t trust those prophecies handed down. To me, I am the master of all powers within this universe."

After speaking, Pan Gu’s body gradually faded and eventually disappeared in front of Nuwa and Fu Xi.

Fu Xi and Nuwa did not know where Pan Gu went. But leaving Nuwa and Fu Xi behind made Fu Xi very embarrassed. Just as he was preparing to leave, Nuwa’s voice came, "How long will you keep following him? Why not help me? Together we can overthrow him. Fu Xi closed his eyes and said, "Nuwa, it’s not to discourage you, but the thoughts in your heart will never come true. Only those who truly grasp the essence of the universe can rule this universe. You don’t have that ability; perhaps Pan Gu does. Even Ye Fan doesn’t have this ability. I follow Pan Gu because I want to adhere to this law."

"Haha, you would rather follow a tyrant than think for me or yourself. How pitiful your life must be! With all your abilities, what is the ultimate meaning? Proving that you are merely someone else’s subordinate? Always resigning oneself to others? I think it’s not worth it for you."

Nuwa still wanted to provoke Fu Xi further, but Fu Xi wouldn’t listen anymore. When Fu Xi’s body disappeared, Nuwa knew she had completely lost this man, which made her very annoyed.

"Why did the man I love ultimately choose to stand on the side he believes to be right while disregarding my care for him? Is it just because I am the bearer of misfortune?" Nuwa was very confused.

She believed Ye Fan might have entered those spatial rifts she had set up earlier, which caused Pan Gu to be unable to pursue him. Because she resented Pan Gu, she wouldn’t speak honestly to him.

Ye Fan said, "It seems you knew beforehand we would visit."

The Nuwa avatar walked over, looking at Nuwa, who was confined and restricted by various powers, appearing somewhat incredulous because the woman before her seemed like an exact replica of herself, completely indistinguishable.

Ye Fan didn’t reply, and the Nuwa avatar exclaimed angrily, "You look pretty miserable too. Do you think you are someone great who can dominate the entire human world? You’re just a maggot created by someone else, and you still have the audacity to question Ye Fan?"

Nuwa asked, "Ye Fan, why did you bring her to see me?"

"I want her to know she’s indeed an avatar and has been used by you. I also want to use her to find my own woman. About this, I can only apologize because I knew Pan Gu and Fu Xi had already left before coming here." Ye Fan said.

Nuwa displayed a poignant smile and said, "You should have obtained the power of the seventh crystal by now.
