Chapter 2025 - 2021: Defeating Nuwa
Within the Thousand Star Illusion Domain, the battle between Ye Fan and Nuwa is close to a conclusion.
The fierce combat has already destroyed tens of thousands of planets; their powers rapidly spread across the cosmos. Ye Fan knows that if Pan Gu and Fu Xi join the fray, he will stand no chance of winning. But as they maintain their dignified positions without intervening, Ye Fan does not easily defeat Nuwa. After roughly two hours of engagement, they are finally close to deciding the victor.
Ye Fan’s cultivation is comparable to Nuwa’s; fortunately, Ye Fan possesses energy that does not originate from the universe, rendering many of his attacks beyond Nuwa’s defense.
Despite Nuwa having life force to assist her, it primarily consists of Spiritual Energy, the most basic cosmic force. Ye Fan is familiar with Spiritual Energy, so he only needs to suppress force with greater force.
During Ye Fan and Nuwa’s struggle, Xi He observes from afar. She dares not help Ye Fan, aware of the substantial gap in cultivation between herself and the two combatants. She believes Ye Fan is destined to win; only when Ye Fan’s cultivation surpasses Nuwa’s does he initiate this challenge. She is well aware that Ye Fan’s actions are deliberate.
However, Ye Fan’s victory hinges on Pan Gu and Fu Xi not intervening.
"...A human who can ascend so rapidly has reached an unassailable level. Ye Fan is now my master and perhaps will become the ruler of the cosmos. Yet his future clash with Pan Gu and Fu Xi carries unknown consequences, possibly unleashing explosive power to obliterate the universe," Xi He worries, imagining frightening scenarios. She previously wanted to caution Ye Fan that Pan Gu and Fu Xi’s combined strength already claims over half the universal energy, suggesting coexistence might prevent cosmic catastrophe.
But she knows Ye Fan would not tolerate powerful beings threatening his position, hence it’s futile to remind him; better to see the outcome after the tribulations.
"...Boom-boom-boom-boom..." The massive explosions continue far off, and Xi He must remain vigilant lest the blasts reach her vicinity.
Xi He reasons: "Ye Fan’s confidence in defeating Nuwa stems from previously overcoming her incarnations twice, granting him foresight and preparation against Nuwa’s powers. Before this battle, Ye Fan undoubtedly made detailed plans, making Nuwa’s act seem redundant."
At this moment, after Nuwa’s stormy assaults, her strength has greatly waned.
In prolonged confrontation, Nuwa must act decisively for victory; else, Ye Fan prevails, given his profound cultivation base. Ye Fan’s utilized forces are elemental energies unmatched by cosmic forces.
Finally, under Ye Fan’s fierce assault, Nuwa is defeated. She becomes like an ordinary human woman, with her power completely suppressed, landing on a planet in the Thousand Star Illusion Domain as Ye Fan pursues her.
It seems Ye Fan intends to execute Nuwa directly.

Ye Fan emerged victorious.
It was an inevitable victory; the final outcome had been predestined from the onset.
Ye Fan lands on the planet, his gaze fixed on Nuwa who lies on a sacred mountain. He harbors murderous intent, seemingly ready to kill Nuwa at any moment. Meanwhile, Xi He, Pan Gu, and Fu Xi approach the planet, forcing Ye Fan to heighten his vigilance against them.
"...I didn’t expect you to win!" Nuwa, utterly exhausted, concedes.
After this defeat, her powers have been almost entirely drained. She lies on the ground, gazing at Ye Fan, her eyes filled with immense reluctance.
Ye Fan strides forward, examining Nuwa, holding a reinforced Fire Dragon Sword. This sword has unexpectedly allowed him to conquer the formidable ancient powers. Ye Fan thought it might be destroyed in the battle, yet it emerged stronger with each challenge.
Ye Fan remarks, "It’s not that you didn’t consider it but anticipated it. You knew my cultivation would undoubtedly surpass yours..."
With these words, Ye Fan uses the sword to pry open a sealed space beside Nuwa, revealing Su Nu and Xuan Nu. Both are locked by Nuwa’s special powers, retaining consciousness but unable to move or wield their internal cultivation.
"Ye Fan, you’d better not act recklessly!" A voice from beyond the planet declares, belonging to Fu Xi. Accompanying his words, Pan Gu appears with him before Ye Fan.
Xi He stands at Ye Fan’s side; at this moment, only the ancient cultivators and Ye Fan remain here, many reflections of human civilization in the Thousand Star Illusion Domain are laid waste.
Ye Fan glances sideways at Fu Xi, saying, "You seemed to say I can deal with Nuwa however I please. Don’t tell me you’re going to renege on that?"
Fu Xi is incensed, now that Ye Fan poses a threat as he rises to challenge the mightiest ancient powers. Conversely, Pan Gu remains carefree. Pan Gu comments, "While I promised Nuwa you could handle her as you wish, you cannot kill her. That’s the limit!"
"Since I can handle her in any way, killing is permissible; it’s our agreed-upon rules!" Ye Fan responds.
Pan Gu shakes his head, stating, "I don’t strip away human life, which doesn’t mean I’ll allow humans to take the lives of ancient cultivators. Nuwa holds a special status among ancient cultivators. You may take her, but you must promise not to kill her, otherwise... I will not allow you to take her or kill her."
Pan Gu stands firm, while Pan Gu and Fu Xi both watch intensely.
Ye Fan clearly knows his own cultivation suffered greatly in this battle. If he were to engage Pan Gu and Fu Xi immediately, he would be defeated within a few moves.
There seems no justification for further conflict against the two.
Fu Xi speaks, "Pan Gu’s words echo mine. Nuwa’s defeat provides you her power, yet if your aim is to destroy her life, you must consult us first!"
