Iron Blood Earl Riccianne

Chapter 8. Mysterious Assassin (3)

“Teach me how to use magic... Are you referring to the use of magic in battle? ”

“Yes, it is. ”

Priella nods with a stiff face. In fact, when she came all the way here, she couldn't help but worry. Even so, he was a conductor and Anton was an apentist. As long as she was human, it was not easy to ask a wizard of a lower grade to teach her such a lesson.

After the daytime battle, however, Priella returned to the castle and was deeply troubled.

Magic was the discipline that ruled the world in ancient times. A great power that no one in itself can challenge.

But nothing ever changes in the world. The hierarchies called warriors gradually resisted magic, and from one day on, the tide changed.

Knowing that you can win if you know the magic flaws and dig them out.

Of course, magic is still a great discipline. High-level wizards were treated with respect wherever they went and were treated with vital force in war as well.

But it was a story where there was always protection of the warrior hierarchy, or connection with them. There were too many restrictions for me to go into battle alone, unless I was a Mysterious Wizard.

Friella, who had not been in contact with the outside world, first joined the battle and fought since she met Lycaen. And so far, I have fought alongside a powerful warrior named Lycaen, who is largely unaware of the limits of magic.

That's what led to a new experience today.

The helplessness I felt after Lycaen and Feron left. Immaturity became obsessed with unconditionally strong magic without making good judgment.

It was all a big shock to Priella. And after much thought, I came to Anton. It was because Anton, who was at the lowest level in the Aprentice class, thought that his basic magic was the difference in how to fight.

Anton thinks of something for a moment and opens his mouth quietly.

“It doesn't make sense for me to teach the conductor, Priella, as an apentice... but you said that because you thought you needed it. Well, not that great, but I'll let you know as far as I'm concerned. ”

When she came to say this to herself, as a conductor, she could see that she felt something big about herself.

After Anton's words, Julia, who was watching the situation from the beginning, said in a panic.

“Wow, Anton, I saw you again. Isn't that great? Dr. Anton?”

Friella smiles faintly as she looks toward Julia. And he said in a very sweet voice.

“By the way, you said Julia? I'll remember what I said during the day. ”

At that moment, Yulia, feeling an unknown life, shudders and smiles awkwardly. While fighting during the day, I thought about it in succession, saying that I was crazy toward Priella.

Julia smiles awkwardly, scratching her back with her face.

“Hahaha... Sis, it was so urgent that I didn't know... Y-you know that's not true, right? ”

But that unknown life was still not lost. Anton, who was watching him quietly, jumped up and said.

“Come with me first. ”

Friella follows Anton outside, smiling once more at Julia.

Suddenly, Julia mutters, patting her shoulders with both hands.

“Ugh, why is it so cold all of a sudden? ”

Anton comes out and asks for Priella.

“There's just one thing I need to get through. You asked me to teach you how to use magic, right? ”

“Yes.”

“But there's nothing I can teach you about magic in particular. because at some point, you don't have to do any magic. Battle is not about a particular situation, but a small variable can create a variety of situations. ”

Friella nods slowly. As long as she wasn't a fool, she had already realized that.

“That's why it would be better to offer Priella a variety of ways of looking at the situation than to teach her something in particular. ”

“Got it.”

“The first thing to remember is that wizards should not stand out in battle. ”

Friella tilts her head back without even knowing it. Magic has to stand out after all. However, when they said that they shouldn't stand out, they could not understand.

Anton's explanation followed.

“If you think about who's at the forefront of combat, you'll see what that means. Soldiers and knights fight no matter what anyone says. The wizards need to be able to help soldiers fight a little easier. To be more assertive, you only need to use one or two of the most magical classes. ”

Then Priella nods.

“Ah, so you don't want to see the big effect of big magic? ”

“Yes, it is. In a bit of an extreme sense, the battle ultimately decides who kills more people and leaves the enemy incapacitated. There's no need for wizards to try to kill more. Magic kills a hundred people, soldiers kill a hundred people, and the result is the same. That means it's enough to reduce your soldiers' damage and make it easier for them to kill their enemies. ”

“Hmm, that should help you through the entire area you're fighting in, and reduce Mana consumption? ”

Anton nods, smiling strangely. Although quite a lot of wizards tried to become battle wizards, they often died on the battlefield because they did not understand these most basic concepts.

However, Priella is a high-class conductor who quickly understands the basics.

“The second is the consumption of Mana that you were talking about. How you manage Mana is entirely up to the wizard... ”

Then someone comes this way. Turning around, Lycaen is walking towards you with a serious look.

Friella tilts her head and asks.

“Is something wrong? You don't look so good. ”

“I need to ask you something. ”

“Who? Me? ”

Lycaen nods at Priella's question. Then he said to Anton,

“Would you excuse us for a moment? I'm in a bit of a hurry. ”

“Haha, sure. Let's finish later, Priella. ”

As Anton leaves, Lycaen comes to the point.

“How familiar are you with the strange technique that Byron's people use? ”

“Well, I've heard a lot from my teacher. ”

“So do any of those tricks turn into someone else? ”

Friella nods as the bear grabs her memory.

“Yes. It's called the Clymus of Perception... I heard that there was a growing concern about abuse and that it was part of a prohibited technique in the Byron Kingdom. ”

Lycaen asked Friella about the wooden statue she found earlier.

“Do you recognize what this is? ”

Friella looks surprised when she picks up what Lycaen gave her.

“Huh? This looks like a totem. ”

“Huh?"

“In a nutshell, it's like Clymus' vector. ”

“Does this mean you have to be able to use the Clermouth technique? ”

“Yes, but where did you get that? ”

“The man who tried to assassinate me dropped it. ”

“Yes?! ”

Friella cries out in surprise. Clermus' soothsayer tried to assassinate Lycaen. But the next story was even more shocking.

“And it seems that the magician who can change its appearance has given rise to this war. ”

“Well, that's impossible! ”

Priella nods, saying she can't believe it. She heard about the cause of the war. A fight broke out when the writer Leon attacked her, but later it turned out that she was missing.

If Sana in the case is a Clement wearing a Clymus of Perception, then the story is a perfect match.

Likayen asked as if to confirm.

“Aunt Tehaz says she's Byron royalty... How many Byrons can she move?" ”

“Yes? Are you doubting my master? ”

“Well? I don't think it's strange not to have doubts... but I don't really doubt the old lady. If you came here to kill me yourself, you heard me. You're not in the mood for this kind of trouble, are you? ”

“That's right. You can't do that. Moreover, Clymus of Awareness is one of the prohibited alchemies in Byron's Kingdom. ”

“Oh, who said that? ”

Friella suddenly asks in a sharp voice.

“Then why are you tripping? ”

Sometimes, his colorful personality suddenly exploded. But Riccianne was not so nice either. When Friella asks, Lycaen screams, too.

“Are you stupid? The man who tried to assassinate me was clearly a Byron. But she's trying to rebuild Byron. But her dominance over Byron was not great. Do you feel anything here? ”

“What's that? ”

“We rebuilt Byron Kingdom, and maybe some people are doing the wrong thing. And the prohibited drink. There are people like that, and she's rebuilding the kingdom. Will the country really work? Besides, they're out there doing the wrong thing, and once Byron is rebuilt, what will the other kingdoms look like? ”

“Hmm! That's ……. ”

Come to think of it, it was dangerous.
