Iron Blood Earl Riccianne

Chapter 9. Escape (2)

“I need to see you inside for a moment. ”

The room where Lycaen arrived contains the Knights of the Twilight, including Elisha. Byron, who was guarding the door, nods at Lycaen and moves aside.

Elisha and the Knights of Dusk were trapped, but they were not experiencing any particular discomfort other than being unable to leave. Even the place where I was locked up was once a big house where a wealthy person would live, and I did not put food or sleep in it.

Riccianne had kept her from using Mana with her blood, but there were no restrictions on what she was doing in the house. It's kind of like a home pension.

As you get inside, the knights flaw and look at Riyaen with hostile eyes. Lycaen gives a twisted smile, as if provoking such knights.

“Profit!”

The rather youthful-looking knight tries to react, and the knight next to him shakes his head, grabbing his shoulder. It's because I know I can't win without Mana.

“What's going on? ”

Elisha, who was sitting quietly in one corner, approaches Lycaen and asks.

“I came to find you. ”

“What? Me? ”

“Let's go out for a while. I have work to do. ”

“But……. ”

Elisha doesn't answer the question, looking at the other knights. It was because he was concerned that his colleagues would follow the enemy's prescribed Lycaen for the first time because he felt sorry for thinking that his colleagues were incarcerated by mistake.

Of course, Lycaen was not delicate enough to take care of Elisha's heart.

He put a hoodie on Elisha's head and dragged her out.

The place where Lycaen took off Elisha's hood was in the dark room. And one of the things that came into Elisha's eyes, who was suddenly looking around, was Byron, who was tied to a chair and gagged.

Elisha gives you a cautious look and asks for Lycaen.

“What's going on? ”

“I need you to do one thing for me. ”

“What……. ”

“Him. Make him talk. ”

“Yes? What does that mean? ”

Elisha tilts her head and asks. The Byron, tied to a chair, is covered in bare flesh or face that appears to have already been severely beaten.

“I think you've already tortured me once. What do you want me to say? I'm not interested in torture. ”

“There's no need for torture. I was just trying to see if torture would work, but I didn't think it would work. So you tell me. ”

“Talk?”

“Horses are your specialty. That's why I'm telling you to take care of him. I'm not asking you to find out anything in particular. I'm just asking you to see if he can talk. ”

Lycaen is already leaving the room, embarrassed that Elisha doesn't understand.

“Now, wait a minute! ”

Then Lycaen looked back and said,

“Instead, never untie that muzzle. As soon as I do, I'm gonna watch him bite his tongue off and die. ”

“Yes? What kind of conversation are you having...? ”

“You can communicate simply with your head. ”

Lycaen leaves the room scared to death.

“Huh? What's that? ”

Friella points up ahead and asks. A side-by-side Wolf follows the gesture of his hand and sees Lycaen dragging Elisha under the hood.

Friella can quickly recognize who the person is by looking at the small figure of the person being dragged in. I remember her better because she was the only woman who was taken captive by Lycaen. Suddenly, he said in a cool voice what he had in mind.

“Don't be afraid.... ”

Even if Wolf doesn't notice, Friella can figure out what she's trying to say at once. And I hung up in a hurry before I could get it right.

“Is that possible? That's the room where the prisoners are kept. And you think my Earl would do that? Oh, you're joking. Why would my Earl do such a thing? He's handsome, he's got big territory, he's got title, he's got a lot of money. If there's one thing that's bad, it's a little grumpy, but think of it as glamour. Hahaha!”

Trying to stop Friella's words in a hurry, she blabbers without even knowing it, and bursts out a big smile for no reason.

Friella points at the Wolf smiling.

“Ahh! I'm sure that's true of your temper... You used to think that, didn't you? ”

“Haha, well, everyone knows that... Haha! ”

Wolf nods with a big smile, realizing what he's saying and quickly covering his mouth with his hands.

And Friella drives the Wolf away.

“Speaking of which, is it okay to be ugly in Wolf's mind, penniless, low profile? ”

“Oh, no way. You can't do that. You can't even treat people like that. Are you making it so hard for me to say what I'm supposed to say? If I could see him, I'd have to cut him to pieces and sell him to a brothel... Oops! What am I saying to Priella...? ”

In Wolf's eyes, he looks puzzled, and there is a beautiful but sinister smile on Friella's face.

“That's not a bad idea. But that's the thing... You should know that about Lycaen, too. What his men think of him. Isn't that right?"

“Yes, yes... Oh, no, that's right, Priella. ”

Wolf tries to say something, but Friella tilts her head as if she doesn't know anything.

“Hmm? What's the matter? Am I wrong? ”

“That's not it... Help me! ”

It doesn't feel like much, but Wolf has begun to assess Priella.

“What are you doing?”

Then I heard someone's voice. The voice that Wolf most doesn't want to hear right now. I turned my head in haste, and Licayen was walking this way.

“Phew, Earl! ”

As the nervous Wolf stands stiff and decides what to say, Lycaen arrives.

“What are you talking about? ”

“Well, that's... I'll come and see the knights. ”

After all, Wolf's choice of not finding a word to say was to run. Lycaen shakes his head.

“Wait.”

The angry Wolf turns his head in a stiff posture.

“Yes? Why? ”

“Leave the knights. You stay there and guard Elishana. Call me when you're done. ”

The flinching Wolf nods heavily with a relieved expression.

“Oh, okay. ”

Lycaen tilts her head as she sees the Wolf running.

“What's wrong with him? ”

Knowing the situation, Friella tilts her head with a smile.

“I don't know. Why would he do that? ”

“Well, anyway. Where's Grandma? ”

“Stay in Chief Radus' house. If not, I was on my way to the teacher, so come with me. ”

“Yeah? Sure. ”

Lycaen nods and the two of them walk side-by-side. And after not taking a few steps, Friella regrets what she said. It was too awkward for me to say anything.

Come to think of it, Lycaen and I have never walked like this. Nevertheless, we never really get along or talk about anything casual. Most of them fought or explained, heard and heard together.

It wasn't like that in the wagon going to Mount Aren, but the vigilante who was running constantly did not give me a chance to talk to him because he was tired. So somehow things got awkward.

What Tehaz said to Priella had a bit of an effect on it, but Priella was even more vigilant because she heard the sound of fate.

Of course, Priella still had no special feelings for Lycaen. It was just awkward walking.

I turned my head slightly and noticed Lycaen's brown hair because of the dye.

“Oh, you dyed your hair? ”

“It's moving in secret, but Silver Hair is too visible. ”

“I see. But silver looks better on you than brown hair. ”

“Hair color. What does it matter? Rather, it bothers me that I'm so visible. ”

It was true that bright silver hair that felt like Lycaen or Senna was hard to see. Thanks to this, Lycaen was able to concentrate people's eyes wherever he went, and he was quite bothered by it.

I liked it even less by getting people's attention after dyeing it. Of course, it was still eye-catching because of a much more handsome face than ordinary people.

“I see.”

Friella nods and breaks her tongue again. By the time Friella feels awkward again, the two arrive in front of Radus' house.

“What's going on? ”

As Lycaen steps inside, Tehaz asks indifferently.

“I think we should get back to the territory now, so I just wanted to talk about it. What's so important about Grandma? Come back later if you feel uncomfortable. ”

“Never mind. It doesn't matter what you hear. Come and sit down. ”

When Lycaen sat down, Tehaz told the story.
