Iron Blood Earl Riccianne

Chapter 2. Empire is Empty (3)

Not all 150,000 troops could be taken. It was because the empire was empty. The emperor has disappeared with 100,000 troops, but there are still lords who are watching and breathing. Their 50,000 troops could not be assured of how they would behave while the empire was empty. Therefore, at least 50,000 remained within the empire.

After a moment of deliberation, Bermurk turns to Barrock.

“You will remain in the Empire and control the situation with the rest of the troops. ”

“Yes? I'm Vermook.... ”

“It's hard to do both things at once now. We're crossing the gate now. You stay and start an additional 30,000 troops, and the rest of you prepare for an incursion inside the Empire. ”

Barrock nods in haste.

“Then I'll stay and capture the rest of the lords. ”

“Extra deployment at your discretion. ”

“Yes!”

Vermooc takes his eyes off Baroque, who answers out loud, and heads towards Duke Sepiteron.

“Dispatch troops immediately. ”

It is unusual for troops to march at sunset. But Duke Sepiteron also knew the situation was urgent.

The urgent situation also applies to those who betrayed the Emperor and stuck to Bermurk. If things go wrong and everything goes back to bulldozing, it was obvious that all the lords involved in this work would die, and would remain in the history of the continent forever.

Duke Sepiteron struggled without even knowing it. It was never supposed to happen. I had to leave right away.

But there was one problem.

“We have a bit of a problem getting out of here. ”

“Problem?”

“Not enough supplies. ”

The troops gathered here today, all of whom were preparing to march to take over the Empire. The situation was already ready, so the order could be rushed as soon as it fell.

But as I rushed in, I couldn't prepare any more than I already had. I didn't think it would take much time for Circus to take over the Empire, so the supplies he had prepared were also not much.

Of course, there were more supplies in the territory, including supplies. However, putting the reserves into the battlefield is not just about getting them out.

“Let's go ahead and secure the paratrooper ship later. Supplies that are not enough are procured locally. ”

It said to plunder the local procurement of goods. After the war, the predicament was mostly restrained because it was so difficult to control the region. Nevertheless, ordering plunder means that it is just as urgent.

Duke Sepiteron turns his gaze toward Cerdon Gateway and shouts out in a loud voice.

“Prepare to march on the entire army! ”

The port of Peten is located at the northern end of the western coastline of the Gronis Empire. The size itself was not that big, but it had facilities that could anchor even if it was a big ship.

There was a merchant ship anchored at the northern end of the port. The big engraving on one side of the prow is "Mellin." It was one of the merchant ships that Lycaen and Caith organized, a ship that Derek, Hildor and Senna had recently sailed on.

And now Lycaen and Caith are boarding for a long journey.

“I think we should start now. ”

Lycaen smiles softly with his back against the rising mast. And the man who answered, the red-headed man leaning against the ledge of the deck. It was Criotes, Emperor of the Gronis Empire.

“Not yet. We need to make sure the job is done safely. ”

Lycaen frowns as if his appetite were bitter at the sight of Creontes speaking with a slightly irritating look on his face.

“Hey, don't you think I made a mistake? ”

It's not Creontes we were just talking about, it's Caith lying facedown on the deck with his whole body extended.

Caith raises his eyes as if he had no intention of getting up.

“Shit, he wouldn't listen to me if I kept him in my ear! ”

It was about an alliance with Creontes. Due to rumors of the imperial emperor's violent temperament, Caith has had a fairly negative reaction to working with Creontes.

But Lycaen didn't listen to Caith like that. It was a matter of a point in time.

“What do you do when you're done talking? ”

“I don't think that's what the big shaker would say. ”

“Hehehe, yes. But I didn't know it would come out like this at that time. ”

“How dare you! ”

The person who suddenly interrupted their conversation and shouted was Criontes, the ‘target’ of their story.

Lycaen glances at Creontes for a moment.

“You didn't expect me to treat you anyway. ”

And Caith got the message.

“Yeah, I think it's time we got used to it. ”

“Grrrgh!"

Criotes grins at Lycaen and Caith, but the two of them still smile deeply. Then, I closed my eyes, as if I had nothing more to say.

It was just you two relaxing. It was to make the nerves as relaxed as possible for the fight to begin soon. It was a natural habit of getting into a van during the last Conquest War.

However, it was unbearable for Creonites to get caught up in it and be mocked around.

“You bastards...! ”

Creonites chews the horse with a grudged voice. But I didn't really have anything to say.

“I'm holding hands now, but don't think we're holding hands after all! ”

We'll talk about it later. ’It was Ryu's story, but that's all I had to say.

Then someone jumps up onto the deck.

“Baja!”

Kneeling before Creotes shouting in a loud voice, it was Artes, the imperial coronator. He was both a physician and a liaison to the Knights of Dusk.

Creonites raises his torso, leaning against the ledge, and asks with a nervous expression.

“Is everything all right? ”

“Yes, the West and the South have set sail, and the East has already crossed the border. ”

“Loss?”

“We have no choice but to lose our troops and supplies. ”

I felt like I was relieving myself from the tension that was wrapped around my nerves. After half of the empire had unknowingly been turned over to other forces, his absolute trusted lords were roughly one-third. From the standpoint of Creonites, our forces are invaluable. I was only relieved to hear that they all made it out of the Empire safely.

“Good. Well done. ”

“I just did what needed to be done. ”

After the conversation, Lycaen said.

“Then, shall we go? ”

Lycaen's eyes were pouring out of her eyes as she stood up and said that. I couldn't find him anywhere until just now, looking forward to the handrail. Of course, neither did Caith.

Creontes slowly raises his head and nods.

“Let's go.”

Chapter 3. Surprise (1)

If the slope is not too long, the peak of the slope falls quite high. A huge fortress on a hill made of such a modest yet long slope reveals its significance.

The southern slope is modest, but behind it is the castle of Earl Pavéronz of the Bren Kingdom.

Earl Faberons is a territory in the western part of the Kingdom of Brent, located at the western gate of the former Kingdom of Brent, on the border with the Kingdom of Delos, Ser Oren Fortress. Because of its geographical advantages, it has served as a hub for logistics between the Kingdom of Delos and Bren. The role, of course, allowed Earl Pavaroise to accumulate enormous wealth over the years.

Although the kingdom of Delos was lost in the war for conquest, Earl Pavalones was still the center of logistics. Because it has been the landing of many merchants for many years, many merchants still stay here.

The word "the center of logistics" means that many people come and go, and there were two inevitable developments with accommodation in places where people frequently travel. It was a drink and a woman, and those two were the culture of the night, if I may say so myself.

The streets of Dodel were famous for their deep nostalgia and the smell of alcohol.

It was a deep night, but it lit up like daylight, and a mixture of the laughter of men and women was exaggerated everywhere.

Most of the people who were walking on the main road were moving their open eyes because they were walking on a grouchy path that required no women or men.

Strangely visible people were rarely seen on such roads.

It was a straight walk with an unwavering torso and regular, focused eyes.

Naturally, it was natural that they would be excluded, and it was not pleasant to see those who were stumbling around the streets drunk and stumbling towards those who were walking sanely at this time. But he also took a hard step on his own path with his eyes peered for a moment.

Suddenly, there was a commotion.

“Heehee, sister! Hey, where are you going? Come play with me!”

A big man grabs a woman by the shoulders with a big hand and shouts in a crooked voice. However, the woman stepped aside, striking her hand on her shoulder as if she did not feel worthy.
