Isekai Dungeon de RTA

Episode 16: Into Intermediate Dungeon Attack

After completing the process at the guild so that I can enter the intermediate dungeon, I will also say hello there and break up with Royce and the Akeem.

The instruction was well received. Well, it would be good for me to know a lot about the Alliance here.

In the meantime, I decided to dive into the intermediate dungeon as soon as possible tomorrow.

The next day, I head back to the guild.

To gather information.

I switched from a quick level of purpose to a tactic.

I really have the manpower I need. In short, we're looking for people.

When I arrive at the guild, I look around to ask the staff questions.

Do you like that guy?

I speak to an employee of a middle-aged man nearby.

Probably a veteran would be better qualified.

"I'm sorry, but I need to ask you something."

"Oh, that was Mr. Kite. Good luck yesterday."

Apparently, he knows about me.

Were you watching the course?

Well, I don't care about that right now, I'll ask you a quick question.

"I'd like you to introduce me to the person who dived deepest into the intermediate dungeons of the Imperial capital,"

"Are you the person who dived deepest? Uh-huh. There's hardly a lot of adventurers out there these days."

"It doesn't have to be recent. Anyone with a proven track record of diving as deep as possible?

"Even retired people?

"Yeah, I just want to talk to you."

This is half a lie, but I wouldn't mind.

"If that's the case, I've heard of a man named Tarr, a court magician in this country, who dived quite deeply… you just think he's old enough already"

The court magician, from his title, must be great.

It's subtle if you'll do me a favor. I don't even know if I'll see you in the first place.

That's a subtle candidate, do you want to hit the others?

That's all I thought about, but I remember.

Speaking of which, Royce had a loan.

Do you want me to return it immediately?

Probably Royce would have a connection.

I thanked the staff and decided to head to the castle.

Arriving in front of the castle, I approach the gate.

It's quick to say that you're a gatekeeper who knows me.

Check the gatekeeper's face.

It's a face I don't know.

Well, that doesn't mean I'm going to butt in.

Explain it and you'll see.

I said to the gatekeeper.

"I'm sorry. Do me a favor."

"Yes? What is it"

"I want Royce to follow me. I think you'll find out when you tell me that Kate's here."

The moment I call him Royce, the man's face changes to a strange look.

Not again.

Should I say Lord Royce the next time I come?

"Does Royce mean Lord Royce, the Knights Commander?

"Yeah. He's not wrong."

The fact that I called him in makes the soldier's face look even more suspicious.

Exactly, I'm getting sick of it, but that's when I can talk to another soldier.

"Isn't that Master Kite?

"Yeah, it is."

I'm not sure I remember, but I guess I was a soldier when I came here.

Anyway, it's enough to turn my back on me.

"Is that so, after all? Are you here to see Lady Lycra today?

Why is Lycra's name there?

I wondered, isn't it strange that Royce, Lycra and the old man named themselves friends?

"No, I'm here to see Royce today. Please take care of it."

"I understand. immediately."

Until then, a soldier responding to me asks impatiently.

"Platoon leader, who is this?

"Master Kate is a friend of His Excellency. And Lady Lycra and Rick."

The soldier who heard it turned a surprised look at me.

Exactly. You're used to it.

I ignore the soldier's reactions and wait for Royce.

"Hey, kite. We met yesterday, but it's a pretty early reunion. What can I do for you today?

After a while, Royce came to the gate.

Look at me strangely.

Well, yesterday today.

"I'm sorry. Do me a favor."

"Hahaha, you mean pay me back my debt quickly. Well, I asked Kite to be unscrupulous... you can do most of the work. I didn't expect you to do me a favor so quickly."

"There's a man named Tar the court magician, isn't there? Why don't you introduce me?

"Is that your grandfather...... why again?

"I heard you've dived deep into the intermediate dungeons of the Imperial City. I want to talk to you for now."

Royce shows a conceivable gesture and opens his mouth as hard to say.

"…… I don't mind introducing you, but I don't know if I can talk to you?

"Is that a difficult personality?

"I mean, it's hard... well, you'll see. Kite might like it. So you want to go now?

"Can we see each other now? If so, don't help me."

I led Royce to his grandfather named Tarr.

And you're pretty much in and out of the castle in a short time. I think I'll remember the structure a little bit.

He walks in the castle for a while and is guided in front of a fairly large door.

"Maybe that grandpa's in here, but he's not a tough character, so you don't have to be afraid. Kite may not have felt that way since the beginning."

With that said, I open the door and go inside.

The inside of the room is dirty if you say so in a nutshell.

Books and some kind of apparatus are scattered.

There was an old man doing some work.

But without further ado, Royce speaks to the old man.

"Hey, Grandpa."

"Hmm? What is Royce? As you can see, I can't get my hands off you. If it's for you, later."

"Well, don't say that. Looks like Kate over there wants to talk to her grandfather."

"Kite, I've never heard of you."

"I'm not from the castle. He's my personal friend."

You're a little intrigued by that word. Your grandfather's gaze finally turned to me.

"It's Kite. My grandfather used to dive deep into an intermediate dungeon. Let me talk to you."

"What!! Intermediate dungeon!?

Grandpa asks back at the front with some appliance in his hand.

What an amazing reaction.

"So... then I don't go back with this?

That's what Royce says with a rushed look.

"Hmm? Are you going already?

When I heard that, Royce looked at me and whispered in a whisper that only I could hear.

"That grandfather has an unusually long story to talk about only what interests him. I'm sorry I got involved."

"I see... ok. I just want to say thank you."

"I'm not thankful. I owe you."

Royce leaves the room.

"So, what do you want to hear about the dungeon? You're talking about when the eagle reached the 40th floor? That was amazing, wasn't it? Throw and tear enemies coming from the next attack…………"

Do you want to go straight in? I don't want to listen to Grandpa for long either.

"I heard your grandfather has a record of going pretty deep in an intermediate dungeon. I want you to take me there if you can."

You can easily go to the hierarchy once using magic formations.

In short, my aim is to make a short cut at once because it would be cumbersome and time consuming to attack one another.

Grandpa stopped talking about himself and stared at Gyorori and me.

"What are you not going to do with them? There's no way you can attack alone, is there?

Sure, there's no point in thinking that.

Now, what an answer.

I choose words carefully.

"Hmm? Why? Such a dungeon. It's just that long, isn't it?

"Are you serious?

"Oh. Well, it must be offensive soon. I don't know how long it's gonna take."

"Nobody attacked that dungeon yet, did they?

"Of course I know. Totally... people in this country are low level. I can't believe even intermediate dungeons can't attack properly."

That's just how frustrated Grandpa is.

"Well, if you're that confident, why don't we go with you?"

You mean if you can't follow me and clear it, you're gonna make me laugh?

Of course I'm not sure I can clear it.

Well, either way, I don't have the option to go with my grandfather.

"Stop it, Grandpa. You're retired from active duty, aren't you? Impossible is poisonous to the body. That's the old man's cold water."

Take deliberate and provocative actions.

Looks even more cocky. Well, naturally.

"If you want to say that much, I'll take you there. However, no matter whether the attack succeeds or fails, come and report it to me. That's about it, right?

You think there's no way you can attack.

Exactly offended you.

But it turned out to be exactly what we wanted.

"Okay. Success or failure, I'm here to report you."

"Are you ready?

"Yeah, I can go anytime."

"All right, then I'll take you on a transfer"

Metastases could be used, or the boulder is a court magician. You saved me a lot of time traveling.

Start moving with Grandpa's transfer.

It was already in the dungeon when I realized it.

I look around quickly, but I didn't see any magic formation to move the hierarchy nearby. Didn't they transfer you near the entrance to the dungeon?

"Grandpa. What is this place?

"What are you talking about? That's where your lord wanted it, isn't it?

"Can you even come to a deep hierarchy without using magic formations?

Grandpa shows his frightened face. Apparently, my question is very basic.

"If you have a hierarchy of magic formations, you can come with a transfer. Not even to the hierarchy I reached myself. Most of all, it's common for offensive parties to honestly use magic formations, because all they get to the deep tier is waste their magic."

"So this is the hierarchy of grandpa's highest records that he said this place reached back in the day?

"Ugh...... um. Right."

Oddly enough, my grandfather is twitching, so I decided to ask him to leave soon. Probably scared.

"Well, I'm good here now. It's okay to go home. Thank you for bringing me this far."

He said, "He'll be back any minute."

"Ha ha, well, hope it doesn't happen"

"Hum."

Drop off Grandpa returning with a transfer.

"Now…… go…"

Unprecedented intermediate dungeons.
