Isekai Ryouridou

Guest to Moribe ② - Mim's arm

"Where should the meat be? Can you make sure it tastes good before cooking?

I gave Mim the meat from the pre-cut wooden dish.

Roast, rose meat and momomo meat are each served one bite at a time.

"Right. I think if you bake and eat it, you'll know which flavor it is."

"Oh, well, then I'll lend you my handheld pot."

All the indoor kamadu were in use, so me, Mim, Michelle, and my mother Mia Ray went outside.

And pull out my cookware I left in the luggage truck.

In this world it is called a handheld pot, a one-handed pot, etc., it was a so-called frying pan.

Of course, it is a cookware purchased from Dial along with a flat pan.

"Thank you. Then let me bake it."

Three pieces of meat are roasted by a fiery outdoor kamado at the hands of Mother Meer Ray. Every meat was full of fat, so there was no need to worry about burning.

So, the three Vina-Lou guys who've been around in the meantime are now wandering this one out of the shade of the wall.

"What, you guys? I guess we cleared up our own work, huh?

"Of course," said Mother Meer Ray as she shrugged. Lara-Rue responded.

"I'm done drying my furry servant Pico's leaves. Vina and my sister were in a big hurry."

"Then it would be nice to have a grand look. If you're so close, I'll let the good guests take care of you."

That's why about three more galleries were to be added.

But Mim is already focused on giva meat and doesn't even try to look back at you.

"Just like Kimmus, cook the giva meat thoroughly so it doesn't leave any redness, okay?

"Yes."

Flip the meat over with the wooden slab I lent you.

On the back, it was baked more often.

"It's such a small amount of meat, it's a tremendous amount of fat"

"Yeah. You know this is more of an ingredient than skinless Kimmus or Caron's foot meat, right?

Mim nodded, releasing the one-handed pan from the tear.

He's going to cook the rest with extra heat.

"If it burns, transfer it to this new wooden dish."

"Thank you"

After waiting about ten seconds, Mim quickly transferred the pot of meat to the wood dish.

Quite an exquisite addition to and subtraction from baking.

"Now, let me give you a taste"

With a serious face, Mim first carried Roth into his mouth.

Even though it is the size of one bite, only half bite it off and put the rest back on the plate.

There are no words.

Keep the rose and momomo meat in your mouth as well, only half of it.

"This is - that's really good quality meat. Besides, do you use pico leaves, not salt, for preservation?

"Yeah. You can pick as many pico leaves as you want by the woods, so you don't have to salt them."

"Really?"

While carefully chewing the last momo meat he ate, Mim offered the wood dish to Michele.

Michelle, who was as quiet as a wooden statue, scolded her daughter.

I don't know if I need to taste it.

"Yeah. But even Dad would be interested in Giva's meat, wouldn't he?

Michelle received the wood dish silently.

That's how Mim looks at me while my father tastes it with care.

"It was delicious. And it really changes the solidity and taste depending on the area."

"Yeah. I guess the difference in how fat comes in has a huge impact on the texture and taste. Momo meat with fat leaning towards the edge is firmly packed with lean so the flesh is hardened and breast meat with a layer of lean and fat is, on the contrary, the softest. So, the meat on my back is moderately fat scattered, so I guess it feels chewy but not too firm."

"Yes, it's really surprising how delicious it is just baked"

Saying so, Mim tilted her ankle all the time.

"Speaking of which, Asta's buying charcoal from her father, right? I also think that this meat will taste unpleasant just by filling it with salt and searing it with charcoal."

"Yeah. I often cook charcoal at home, too. But the food in the stall is so full of customers that if you don't cook it all at once on an iron plate, you won't make it."

"I see," he thinks with his hands on his mandible.

"If I put my hands on it poorly, it's going to taste less than just roasted meat. This is quite a challenge."

"Should I have prepared the meat of Karon or Kimmus after all?

"No, I'm very proud to be able to cook delicious meats like this"

Mim smiled at the strength of what seemed like a very ten-year-old.

"I've decided. I'm going to use Giva's foot meat for my cooking."

"Roger. What about vegetables and seasonings?

"Seasonings are cool with salt alone. I have never used tau oil or sugar.... Can you separate the vegetables, Aria, Chacchi, Nenon and Poitan, one by one?

"Aye. Then choose from our pantry."

Mother Meer Ray leads the way to the next pantry between Kama and Kama.

As he stepped in there, Mim let his eyes shine "Wow".

"Wow! You're full of vegetables! I've never seen such a splendid pantry!

"Hmm? I never thought I'd praise the people in town for the pantry."

"We live with our father, and all the inhabitants of Turan are poor in the first place, so we don't get to buy and collect so many vegetables first. You have a lot of family at Lew's house, right?

"Oh, we're a family of thirteen babies together. We can just invite them to stay for a day."

Seems Zida and Barsha's dinner is taking care of in turn at the main house and Sin-Lu's house.

"Awesome! I kind of want to dream."

Pleasantly, Mim begins to indulge in the vegetables in the pantry.

Looking at that little back, I heard "Kind of like when Asta first came to Lew's house" from behind.

Looking back, Rimi-Lou stands between the sisters.

"What's wrong with you? Did you even need some vegetables?

"Yeah. I came to peek because this one looks more fun. There's not much more to do over there."

While I was doing that, I came back with the vegetables I needed mime in a flat cage.

As declared, Aria, Chach, Nennon and Poitan are listed one at a time.

"Is that okay with you? Asta will pay the price anyway, so use whatever you want."

"No. Using unusable vegetables can break the flavor."

Saying so, Mim glances over the shelves looking a little unconcerned.

Seeing that look, Rimi-Lou said, "I knew it was like an old Asta! I said."

I'm sure you're right.

"Turan humans seemed to have a lot of boring lives," Ai-Fa once said. Anything. When I was exposed to Lefreia, he was in charge of the search at Turan, along with Ama Min-Lutim.

And Mim said he had never used tau oil or sugar.

No matter how the cook's daughter, if the house is poor, she cannot buy seasonings or expensive vegetables. I'm sure Mim only has as much knowledge as I did when she had Rutim's feast.

(Still, I'm sure you can lump better dishes than I did back then)

I couldn't help but think of it that way, thinking that I would not expect excessive expectations.

I don't know, my chest is getting hot again.

Anyway, so how long have we been going back?

Raina-Lou and the others who were working on the "Roltino" fire and other supper schemes look back at us.

"Thur-din, thank you for the turn of fire. Mim, let me take a look at your hand."

"Yes, I'll do my best!

I put the ingredients I had brought on the table, and Mim put her hand on the leather bag.

The metal hanging opens up and finally its contents are exposed before us.

The inner part of the bag was thickly stretched with a soft looking cloth.

And three types of cooking knives, as well as spoons and cups for weighing, as well as appliances like whippers for agitation and even wood bells and ladles, are housed in them.

This is a set of cookware that was taken over from Michelle, the Castle Town cook.

"Oh, you're using Sim's knife too, Mim."

When you find a whirlpool pattern familiar with the cooking knife pattern and call it that, "Yes!" A cheerful reply came back.

"It's just a tool that's past me and others. There's another Jagal knife in the house, but I brought this one to keep today."

"Yeah. What is this thinnest knife for cutting?

"I hear this one is a knife for cutting fish. Of course, there are only poisonous fish near Genos, so I've never used them."

I was also informed of the handling of wild birds by Polearths. That's why there are almost no seafood ingredients in the Inn Town.

But even in Genos like that, will there be an opportunity to judge the fish in Castle Town?

I asked for Michelle, but I never got the answer.

"So, um... I'm so sorry, can I ask Asta to cut the first meat? If I and others put a knife in the first meat I deal with, it would just make the flavor disappear."

"Copy that. The area used was Momo meat, right? In what way shall we prepare?

"Then please do so in as thick square a way as possible, just as you did when preparing below. Amount is the amount Asta wants."

There were ten Kamadoku numbers, including me, and there were three more spectators in Sumieko. Add Mim and Michelle, and you'll have fifteen.

I cut Giva's Momo meat into square, blocky pieces with less than two kilos of vision.

"Thank you. And can I get a bottle of fruit liquor and a little rock salt?

This left something on the other table, Limi-Lew offered "yes".

"Thank you," Mim smiles.

Mim first slapped the blocked meat with a stick as it was, then began to rub the crushed rock salt in.

That's how I subtly flavor the meat, and then chop the vegetables other than Poitan.

The way you cut it, everything is sliced.

"Use this one for Kamadu. We'll warm it up again."

Sheila-Lou and Raina-Lou take down one of the pans that was on Kamado.

"Thank you," Mim said again, lowering her head before desiring a new iron pan.

Throw the block meat in a large iron pan and cook the surface carefully over high heat.

Momo meat fat played a good sound of puffiness and economy.

If the color of the grill comes on, now it's vegetables.

Aria had a whole one, Chatch was two-thirds, and Nenon was about three-quarters.

And it shall be fruit liquor at the end of the day, when there is light fire.

This was lavishly poured until about two-thirds of the thick meat was soaked.

That's how I cover it with a wooden plate and scratch out about half of all the firewood.

I guess it's a prospect to simmer carefully over low heat.

"... it's not a particularly unusual cooking method"

And, Raina-Lou whispers from the side.

"Yeah," he nodded, and now Sheila-Lou came face to face from the other side.

"But somehow the procedure seems similar to Asta's. I didn't feel that way when I saw the innkeepers."

There were certainly many parts of the mime that didn't taste like kellen, and yet also passed my cooking methods.

The surface of the meat would have been cooked in order not to miss the gravy, and simmering over low heat would have been in order to soften the meat.

Rubbing salt in to give it a lower flavor, beating meat and breaking connective tissue is the same way I do it.

Speaking of differences, is it about how to cut vegetables?

Mim bends in front of Kama and stares wholeheartedly at the fire.

It is a very serious face.

Sometimes just refilling the firewood, Mim didn't quite try to check the contents of the pan.

Seeing as there are no major moves, the Raina-Lou and the others also begin to restart their preparations for dinner.

About twenty minutes went by as it was, and when it was time for this' rolltino 'to be done, Mim finally woke himself up.

Remove the wooden plate and dull the broth with the wooden spoon you brought.

After confirming its flavor, Mim looked back at Mother Meer Ray.

"I'm sorry. Could you lend me the outside kamado again?

Oh, I don't mind.

I wondered what the hell he was going to do, and Mim started stirring up Chatch and Nennon in my frying pan one pinch at a time.

Then how long will you be back and add the contents of the frying pan to the iron pan?

Stir the gum and boiled fruit liquor soup, then add a small amount of rock salt as you look at the flavor.

So I put the lid on it, and now I kept the low heat for about ten minutes before Mim woke up again.

Fruit liquor evaporates a lot and about half of the block meat is exposed.

Mim started crushing the vegetables that were sinking around it with a wooden spoon.

Was it all thinly sliced for this?

When the pasted vegetables are dissolved in the soup of the fruit liquor, they are sliced into thin slices of the remaining poitan on the table.

I put that in while stirring the iron pan and stop my hand where I dropped the fourth sheet.

The soup had a very thick texture and turned into a slightly creamy reddish-brown color.

This was also the cooking method I used when I wanted to easily thicken it.

In the caron milk soup of "Kimmus's Tail Pavilion" and "Westwind Pavilion", this is how they throw poiton and put on stew-style thickening.

Mim repeated her taste and finally stabbed the tree skewer in the meat to confirm its softness, she finally smiled back and looked back at me.

"Thank you for waiting. That's it."

"What, you got a good taste of meat?

"Yes, this is the first time I've dealt with Giva's meat, so I probably can't finish it any more when I see the flavor"

Clean or whatever, he smiled unmistakably.

With a somewhat tense face, the Raina-Lou's begin to surround the iron pan.

"Is it done? You really only use salt for condiments."

"Yes, but the meat was stained with the flavor of Pico leaves, so I think I got more depth in the taste of broth than I did at home"

"Well, let's start with my cooking."

I took 'Roll Tino' from the iron pan.

Once the stopped fire has been lit up again, it should be warming up to the state of eating.

Unwrap the strawberries with a wooden skewer, sprinkle with a light orange soup, and place one dish at a time in front of mime and michele.

"If you like, try Michelle as well.... you've never had the dish I'm wholesale in the inn, have you?

"Oh, I can't grab any extra copper coins until dinner."

Then is thickening with poitan also a method that Mim or Michelle came up with independently?

Mim said, "That smells wonderful!" and his eyes shine.

In the meantime, Rayna-Lew and the others' Roltinos' were carried before me.

I have to see how well Raina-Lou and the others are doing.

"Now let me give you a taste!

Mim and Michelle take iron skewers.

I nod, I take my own chopsticks.

Rayna-Lew's creation of "Roltino" was impeccable.

Still hot gravy spreads in his mouth as he grabs Tino's clothes, which are carefully simmered and sweetened. I don't have any problems flavoring the broth either. You can wholesale this to Kimmus's Tail Pavilion tomorrow.

When I made rolled cabbage in my hometown, I used ground meat, but it's not as bad as a hamburger. My tongue was already perfectly tame to Giva meat, and even if it wasn't, this is superior flesh.

As Mother Meer Ray put it, ground beef has a taste for ground beef.

If Donda-Lou and the others can now think of this as delicious too, that was a real pleasure.

"Oh...... this dish is really great too. I'm just eating it and it spills my laughter."

Mim was also inadvertently closing her eyes.

Michelle is silent and eating once and for all.

"But I don't like to say in words what I feel. Hey, Dad, this is great food too, right?

"Oh."

"Dad's good at words, isn't he? Put this feeling in my place."

"There's another tongue stuck to each of us, so it's not like me and you are feeling the same thing. Besides, it means a lot to describe the delicacy of a dish in words."

"No more! You're complaining about my cooking!

That's how we finished tasting 'Roltino'.

Finally, now it is a tasting of Mim's dishes.

"Um, if you think about it, it's in odd order, right? If you eat my dishes after Asta, the difference will be so obvious."

"No, I guess it's okay. There's no basis, though."

"I'm not at all relieved if it's unfounded"

What a complicated face to laugh at, Mim took the meat cutting knife.

Softly add the tip of the blade to the momomo meat of Gibba, which is boiling hot air on which side the fire is extinguished.

The meatiest hard momomo meat in Giva also seemed to be simmering a lot softer.

The center of the cross section was so pink, but the heat would be passing through enough because it was all on fire.

Thinly slicing the elongated block meat into pieces for the number of people, Mim looked up, "Go ahead," he said.

"I'm not sure, but enjoy it. For me now, this is the best Giva meat dish."

Raina-Lou stands in front of the pan, and Rimi-Lou, who holds a lot of wood dishes, lines up beside it.

One cup of broth was sprinkled on the divided meat, which was turned into the hands of the people.

Even a block of meat of just over two kilos would be 130 grams if we split it it between 15 people.

Well, it was enough for me to get in the way of dinner until "Roll Tino," but I didn't feel comfortable withholding the amount at all.

"Okay, I'll take it"

I cheeked up the momomo meat with plenty of broth teasing as I leaned back on my chest.

First of all, the deliciousness of the broth makes me want to raise my voice unexpectedly.

The viscous broth creaks into my tongue. The base of the flavour was the sweetness of the fruit liquor, where the sweetness of the vegetables and fat was combined to achieve a brilliant synergy.

After all, the taste of mime was excellent.

I guess I also purposefully added chach and nenon to complete this flavor.

Pasted vegetables produce a really plump flavor, which is brought together by moderate salt addition and subtraction.

Besides, it is giva meat.

It's only been simmering for half an hour at most, so it's not that soft.

Only the fat leaning against the end is puffy and soft, but the lean part leaves a firm bite.

As for the feel, it was close to roasted meat.

The gravy never floods me, but I like the moist texture.

Then the strong flavour of Giva meat, teasing with the flavour of rich sauce, rushes around on the tongue.

This flavour...

"Yeah, it's delicious!

Rimi-Lou raised a loud voice to the lid.

The little face shines with joy.

"It's so delicious! Mim is really good at cooking!

"Thank you," Mim smiled.

But the face looked lonely somewhere.

"But after all, the coarseness really stands out after Asta. Even though I knew it, it wasn't worth it."

"Uh, yeah? I think the rimi are delicious."

"No. The flavor of Pico leaves was halfway there, and the taste of Giva fat has not been fully exploited. Unless you're sorry you ate something you couldn't."

"It's a lot more ideal. I'm delicious enough for you, too, right? It's amazing how many people in town can cook delicious dishes with Giva meat."

Meer Ray's mother is smiling too.

So I decided to check on the others.

Most of them look extremely satisfied.

Even leaving aside the less emotionally readable Yamil-Ray and Zwei, Barsha and Li-Sudra are smiling, and Vina-Lou are smiling just fine, and Lara-Lou looks a little surprised.

Of all that, only three expressions were stiff.

It is Raina-Lou and Sheila-Lou and Tour-Din.

"This is -" Sheila-Lou called out.

As I whisper it, Rayna-Lew remarks that it was "very tasty".

"You're only ten, aren't you, Turan's mime? I think it would be admirable to be able to make delicious dishes like this."

"Thank you"

Mim laughs lonely again.

"I'm really glad you said those words. We apologize for taking the time today."

Rayna-Lew distracted himself from what Mim looked like and bit his lips off sooner.

Maybe to her - and Sheila-Lou and Tour-Din, too, Mim's awesomeness was conveyed.

Mim's dishes were delicious.

But I'm sure if it was the 'rolltino' I ate before that, I wouldn't be losing at all.

But for the first time today, Mim made so many dishes out of Giva meat.

Besides, I only use salt for seasonings. All you have to do is flavor the pico leaves that were left in the giva meat.

Would salt be the only way to cook something so good for us right now?

"Giva Meat and Tarapa Stew," which was unveiled at Rutim's feast, might manage to counter it.

But that dish was also made of plenty of Pico leaves, and it was completed with a thorough refinement of the flavours and properties of Giva meat.

It wasn't until a month or so after I started living by the woods that I made that dish.

If this girl could treat Giva's meat as she pleases for a month, how many dishes could she cook?

And how many dishes can you make if you can treat condiments like tau oil or sugar or pico leaves as you like?

I guess the Raina-Lou guys have imagined that much.

At least, I imagined that much.

My spine gets cold and my chest gets hot.

This girl named Mime was apparently even more amazing than I had predicted.
