Study Group in Castle Town ① - Meet Me

In this continent Ameshorn, the name of the moon is indicated by color.

Using the silver moon as the beginning of a year, tea, red, zhu, yellow, green, blue, white, ash, black, blue, purple, this is twelve months.

However, every three years a special month called the Golden Moon is plugged in between silver and tea, and that year alone will be one year in thirteen months. In my hometown, there was a year, but that's how it corrects the discrepancies with the operation of the sun, the moon, etc.

It should be noted that this year, just around that special year, the Golden Moon is coming when this silver month is over.

By the way, it was on the 24th of the Yellow Moon that I began living in a settlement by the woods.

but it wasn't until a long time later that I learned about the day. I lived my life completely unconscious of a calendar until the first yellow and green moon passed and reached the blue moon.

Either way, with the end of the purple moon, my whole life around the woods was calculated to be over seven months.

On the 24th of the Yellow Moon, I was able to meet Ai-Fa.

A few days after that Limi-Luu came to the house of Fa and was able to connect with the people of the Luu family as well.

Soon afterwards the green moon arrived, and in the middle of the year it deposited the wedding feast of the Rutim family, and in the second half it began commerce in the boarding town. It was also during this month that Camua-Josh was skinned and visited by a number of important people: Tara and Dora's father, Milan-Math and Yumi, and Schmiral and Balan's fathers.

So there was a commotion over the Sung family in the Blue Moon, not to mention meeting Naudis, Nails, and even Dial and Zida, and breaking up with Schmiral and the Oddies. There was a parental conference going on by the woods, and this blue moon was a very impressive time for me.

but it was also this month that its next white moon was full of unbeatable turmoil, abducted by the castle town or settled with Cycleus. It would have been a major turning point in that sense, as it is also the month of the Marquis of Genos' Marstein and the Polearths of the Earl of Dareim's family, who have bonded to it with Michel.

So the ashes and the black moon were relatively calm, as the disturbances surrounding the Sung family and Cycleus were settled first.

This time of year we even made it to business, and at the end of it we were supposed to meet Mime and the Vulcas.

In that way, for the first time in the Blue Moon, he would even turn his legs to Dalaim territory and the neighboring town of Dabbagh, at the end of which he opened the Blue Sky Dining Room.

And the Easter of the Sun God was held in the purple moon, and it coincided with the end of the previous year at the same time.

It was, to think, a furious seven-month period.

But I guess we're going to have the same busy days.

Even if we think only about the immediate moment, the rainy season will come when it is time for Schmiral to return to Genos when the silver month is over, and it will last for two months when the gold month is over.

Even before that, there were various promises made with the people of the castle town, as well as one of the Seats of Gamray, which wished to keep Gibba alive, one of the Lem-Dom, which wanted to be a hunter, and one of the Dora families, which wanted to stay in a settlement by the woods - and one of them, which, when Fa's house celebrated a period of rest, let's try to hold a harvest feast between the nearby clans. If there is no disturbance in Gibba's movements, the Silver or Golden Moon will have a rest period in Pha's house as well.

This alone doesn't seem like there are hippos or anything that are quite boring.

But first, we're going to have to clean up our current jobs one by one.

That's why, on the fifth day after the new year, the fifth day of the Silver Moon. We were headed back to the castle town of Genos to do our little work.

"Thank you so much for inviting me and others, Asta"

It was Mim who raised his voice as such in the Totos car bound for the VIP Hotel at the former Earl Turan residence.

When I told him that Varcus wanted to know what Mim was capable of, Michelle accepted it unexpectedly lightly.

However, I refused to do anything but accompany myself, and I couldn't help but feel compelled to persuade myself. He was once a famous cook, but he lost his identity because of Cycleus' outrageous actions. In that mood, he couldn't have stuck his mouth to me or anything.

"But the goal today is to indulge in new ingredients and then Asta will teach the Castle Town cooks how to cook fuwano dishes, right? Are you glad that I followed this truly, even though I am of no help?

"You don't have to think that hard. Because Mitsuhito, who is taking this case, is a very discerning person. I was also very excited about Mim's cooking."

Mim is bringing that dish he was selling in Inn Town. Blushing her cheeks with excitement, Mim still looked a little worried.

"But I am not as good at using as many ingredients as Asta... and I will not buy the wrath of the aristocracy for feeding them such crude dishes?

"Poor cooking means not using very valuable ingredients, right? It's all right, Polearths are noble, but they're not the kind of people who decide how the ingredients are worth cooking."

Still, Mim is badly impressed by the lawlessness of the aristocracy. From that aspect, which always seemed innocent, the colour of concern never completely disappeared.

But given the circumstances, her childhood, etc., it can also be said that she is behaving amazingly well. Whatever, Raina-Lou and Sheila-Lou, who are now rocked by another car, had more tenacious faces than mime.

Raina-Lou and the others were also bringing their dishes today. This is also "Teriyaki Stew," which was put up for sale in Inari Town. They had bought the Vulcan dish in the last stewed dish, and they had offered to have their dishes spoken again.

If I may say so, it was also for personal use that was exchanged between us and the individual Vulcan. The only way for us to get to Varcus, who have not yet been allowed to enter or leave the castle personally, is to carry out the work offered to us by the nobles.

Whatever it was, the partitioner Polearth gave us pleasure, so we were able to make our way to Castle Town today with a good number of people.

Me and Mim, Raina-Lou and Sheila-Lou, plus Tul-din, Yun-Sudra and Rimi-Lou in the name of cooking assistants, and even Sufila-Zaza as inspectors.

The hunters of the escorts are Ai-Fa, Rudd-Lou, Dan-Loutim, and then there are three members of Lu's family whose names I do not know, for a total of six.

With the two days of the silver moon the rest period of the family of Luu was supposed to be over, so hunters other than them should still be in the woods today.

There are still a number of escorts in the stall business. It was the decision of Donda-Lou and Giza-Lou that we should be careful until the town regains its calm, as there are still a large number of leftovers sitting in the Inn Town even after Easter of the Sun God.

Nevertheless, because of the resumption of their work as hunters, the heads of family, such as Lau-Ray and Gillan-Lillin, were to bind the men in their respective houses and could no longer serve as escorts. Still, it must have been Donda-Lou's least concern to turn finger fierce men like Rudd-Lou and Dan-Loutim into escorts.

And it is ai-fa.

Ai-Fa had also finally begun training to remove the bands that had fixed her chest and regain her power as a hunter.

While the guard's job is fulfilled, other times he is encouraged to climb trees, sift swords, and harsh training without time to rest. Ai-Fa had shown an extraordinary temper to regain power at any cost by then, as a period of rest would come after a while.

If I can regain full strength in that way, I can wait to work with Rem-Dom first.

Can you beat Ai-Fa in comparison to the power of the hunter? So the fate of Lem-Dom is settled.

Whatever the end of the day, the days of getting Rem-Dom to help prepare under business were coming to an end soon.

"Speaking of which, we were talking about the Chiefs being invited to Castle Town today, right?

And Yun-Sudra, who was never tired of looking out the window, asked the fudge.

"Yeah, but the Chiefs are coming later, and they're in different places in the first place, so we're not gonna look each other in the face."

Today was the due date for a three-month bonus.

This is the second meeting since the negotiator with the people of Moribe switched from Cycleus to Melfried.

I hear that since Melfried started taking on this role, it has become a good place to talk about not just getting copper coins, but, most of all, whether there are any grievances, demands, etc. This time, I was a little concerned about what kind of agenda would be eliminated.

(First and foremost, I guess a settlement with the Earl Saturas family will be discussed. And then I wonder if we'll talk from this side about "A Seat of Gamleys" as well)

Whatever it is, I only pray that the ties between Genos and the woodland will deepen.

Incidentally, both names Darum-Lou and Gazran-Rutim are scheduled to accompany you there. Darum-Lou is offered by the chief Donda-Lou, and Gazran-Loutim is a special frame advisor. Gazran-Rutim, who was recognised for his power as a negotiator in a case with Cycleus, had been asked to accompany him that way in his last meeting.

For the record, when that's how the head of the main house had to get out of the hunter's job, the next head of the family and the person he's seen will take the job apart. Of course it is Ziza-Lou in the Lou family, and if the parents are young like the Lou Tim family and have not yet grown a child, the next person close to blood - speaking of the Lou Tim family - is the second brother in the main family to receive it.

"The talks will also be accompanied by the parents of Fou and Baim, right? I can't wait to go back and listen to you."

"Right. But maybe we're going back to the settlement later, huh? Because I have a lot of work to do."

Today's work is not all about the bargaining of new ingredients. I have to teach the chefs of Castle Town the recipe I invented for Black Fuwano Noodles.

Besides, I even promised the Vulcas to try out my dishes and those of Mime and Raina-Lou, so long as I was in a hurry.

It was now about half a turn for a moment, and it was three moments for the Chiefs to gather together, but it seems to me that it would be slower for us to return to the settlement.

"I've gone out of my way to cut business early, so I need to make it a real day. Well, it's meaningful just to get some feedback from the Vulcas."

"Yes, the guests of the lodging town were very sorry."

Yun-Sudra chuckles as she shakes the grey-brown sidetail.

We were out of business an hour earlier than usual. I mean, I was actually going to make it a holiday, but when I told him that within yesterday, he was going to be very mourned by the customers.

The plan was that those who visited Genos for Easter would also relax until the third day of the Silver Moon, and then return to their homeland or go to another town. So today is the fifth day of the month of silver, and there are still a considerable number of travellers left in the city of Inn.

"I just took a break during this time, but you're taking another break!?

"I was supposed to leave Genos tomorrow while I grabbed your dishes, and that's terrible!

If such a voice arrives, it won't be sneaky to close the store. So we stayed in Inn Town until the end of the promise, and we dared to do business.

Customers are dwindling every day, but they still sell more than 1,000 meals. The first business day of the year, for example, was so much faster that it was decided to close the store a lot earlier than scheduled. Even after Easter, we didn't seem to be able to rest until the Inn Town itself regained its composure.

"Oh, I see you've arrived"

A box-shaped Totos car finally stopped, along with Yun-Sudra's bounced voice.

The rear door opens and the guide's martial officer peeks into his face.

"Thank you for waiting. Step down carefully at your feet."

Follow the martial officer's instructions and put your feet down on the cobblestone in the vestibule. Raina-Lou and the hunters guarding it showed up in the same way from the car that clung next door.

From that, Rudd-Lou said, "Yeah?" I raise my voice.

"Sounds like you have a lot of soldiers today. Is that why you're here?

"Yes, your security is particularly tight as there are a large number of people staying in this building."

"Hmm? I wasn't when I came here before."

If you look, there were certainly nearly ten martial officers in the courtyard. There should have been only two martial officers in the lead, so I guess the others would have waited for us on this occasion.

The soldiers who normally guard the VIP guesthouse are somewhat different in their physical appearance and equipment. Instead of carrying a reclining spear, he is lowering his long sword and dagger to his waist one by one. At the same time it was felt extremely practical to wear only the torso circle and the hand with the engraving of the crest on the stubborn outfit.

This is probably the soldiers of the militia. At a time when Silel, the former commander of the vicious, had been replaced, he was never supposed to be in danger with them, but he felt somewhat obnoxious because he was usually hard to see on such occasions.

Did you think the same thing, Rudd-Lou is looking around at those martial arts officers with an awkward eye?

"Are you saying someone's even here today for a special guest? That Polearth is the only nobleman the Astas deal with, right?

"because we are just following the instructions of our superiors..."

And, where the young martial officer had finally said, now he came running over looking like a slightly more stately, magnificent martial officer panicked.

"This was everyone by the woods. Please come inside the building."

"Before I do, can you answer my question one more time? I'm keeping them safe, too."

With Dalm-Lou absent, the person in charge of this scene becomes Rudd-Lou in the main house of Lou. When such Rudd-Lou repeated the same question, the magnificent martial officer nodded "Oh......"

"Lord Polearth of the Earl of Dalaim wanted to give you a quick explanation on the matter. Master Polearth has already arrived, please come here -"

Although not even disturbing, it is a badly toothed response.

Rudd-Lou silently blindfolded the other hunters before following their martial officers to begin walking.

"What's going on? Sounds like something's not always the same vibe, huh?

When I sneak in my ear, Ai-Fa mysteriously nods "uhm".

"Well, it's not like I can't imagine it somehow. If Polearths is going to explain, why don't we wait for that word?"

The words reassured me a lot, since I was originally an eye-fa who seemed more alert than Rudd-Lou. So far, I guess that means that there is no presence that touches the EY-FA's Hazard Sensor.

That's how I stepped inside the building, and there were small names lined up there, just like last time. The luggage I have brought is also being carried in silently by my servants.

but when we turned our feet to the bathroom, to our dismay, all ten martial arts officers followed. This is already a clear anomaly. Since there was one case of Gaymaros and Sin-Lu, did they think that we needed further protection?

(But you and Count Saturas are in the process of talking in the direction of reconciliation. I don't think around Leeheim is going to try to harm us by ignoring Malstein's intentions...)

Anyway, now, we should rendezvous with Polearth as soon as possible.

We cleaned ourselves up early and decided to go for the cook the whole way.

"Hey, I've been waiting for you, everyone by the woods. It's all the more important to be able to meet again so soon."

In the cook, the smiling Polearths were waiting for us.

Behind you can also see the cooks, but only two martial arts officers, as usual, refrain by the Pole Earth. That, relieved by a bright and flamboyant smile that was unusual, I entered on behalf of all of them.

"Thank you for waiting. Has anything changed?

"Yeah, I'm ready for this one, too.... before you do, you need an explanation, right?

At the direction of Pole Earth, the door is closed. Outside the door remained Dan-Rutim and an unnamed hunter, and none of the only ten martial arts officers tried to come into the cooking.

"There would have been a lot of security martial officers today, wouldn't there? I hope you haven't offended Lord Asta."

"When you're uncomfortable - you just want me to tell you why. Is this some kind of special day for you?

To Rudd-Lou's inquiry, Polearth shook his thick head, "No, no, no."

"There's nothing special about it. The guests staying in this hall will also still be relaxing in the aftermath of Easter.... just got a request from those people to be more protective."

"What are those guys? Are you related to people like the Earl of Saturas?

"No, it's just the people on the extra land who are staying. This is a guest house. … I mean, people like that have forgotten their concerns about the existence of hunters by the woods who lowered their swords."

That martial officer was placed in the name of protecting the people in the building from us, not us.

With a smile and a laugh, Polearth whispered just a little.

"The people of the woods say honesty is a virtue, so let me be frank with you, too, okay? In short, one of the other things even got into the ears of people staying in this hall, and that just caused me a little anxiety. If the hunters by the woods are concerned, they won't be able to play their part with the soldiers of the guards they've been stationed with."

"Hmm? We don't have a reason to attack strangers."

"Of course that would be. However, being a person from extra land seems to worry me a lot after all. They don't actually look at the forest people like we do."

Saying so, Polearth smiled with such pleasure.

"Well, nobility and luxury are cowardly things. It's cheap if it makes no difference when you add only ten more martial arts officers to a hunter by the woods."

"You're noble, too, aren't you? With so many hunters in front of you, why don't you go crazy?

"That would be what trust is. Twice before now the nobility of Genos has betrayed the trust of the people by the woods. That's Cycleus and Lord Gaymaros the other day. In contrast, it was never once that the people by the woods would imitate illegally in a castle town. There's no way our side can doubt the truth about the people by the woods."

Rudd-Lou laughed, as he was finally convinced.

"I'm sorry I said so many things. I've been entrusted by my father with the role of escort."

"No, no, it's this one who's losing his respect, so be vigilant and natural. Still, this cook was the perfect place to do today's work, so I couldn't have moved the place."

That being said, Polearth offered a good meaty hand backwards.

"Well, let's get back on our minds, shall we? Can you start with the example cooking guidelines, Lord Asta?

"Yes, sir. Copy that."

Walking behind the cook following Pole Earth, there stood a total of about fifteen cooks.

Six faces I saw in it. It is Jan, Timaro, Bozzle, Turtumai, Siri-Low, and Roy.

"Welcome, Lord Asta. May we give you a tour, too?

And it was one of the disciples of Vulcus, the great Jagal people's bozzle, who had said so.

"Yeah, of course.... or Varcus isn't here yet"

"Yes, you don't seem to want to see much of the cooking process when it comes to this dish. It's going to be a chore when it comes to making chaskas,"

Those bright, glittering green eyes look at me all the time.

"That's a hiccup. Will you remember me?

"Yes! You were the apprentice of someone named Varcus. I was surprised to hear from Asta later."

Mim lowered her head a little.

There are two people watching it. It is Roy and Siri-Low.

Roy has also spoken of Mim's cooking, so her presence will not be overlooked. Speaking of Siri-Low, he's got the mime as strong an eye as he did the first time he looked at me. You heard Mim's reputation from the bozzle there, and it looked like he was locked on without alarm.

"Except for Lord Varcus's apprentice, all of you are cooks who own shops in Castle Town. First, I want you to teach them how to cook a dish called" Black Fuwano Soba "."

To Polearth's words, I nod yes.

Lined up there were Timaro, most of whom were men of epic age. I feel tight about having to play the role of instructor against such fine people.

"This is the cook by the woods, Lord Asta of Fa's house. With the help of Lord Asta, we were to sell exactly the black fuwano we could have bought from Banaam. As it has already been said, he possesses a technique of cooking that is difficult for the people of Genos because his predecessor is an emigrant people. I want you to take that move and encourage you to make delicious fuwano dishes."

The cooks, all dressed in white or light ink cooking clothes, have each thanked me without giving me a very clear look.

When it comes to condiments such as mayonnaise and dressing, the answer seems to have been given that there is no need for handiwork because they are also currently working on research.

As far as I'm concerned, I was greatly concerned about the mood in which they were engaged in this task, but most of them were asked to do so by the noblemen. We should get to work here.

"My name is Asta from the house of Fa, a people by the woods. I'm a young man as you can see, so there will be a lot going on, thank you. … Now let's get to work."

The workbench was already stocked with the necessary ingredients. Poitan powder, which is not usually present in this cooking, is also prepared by the hands of Polearths.

The exemplary cook had elected Tool-Din, who was the best at making noodles. It's the way we actually have her make it ourselves, and I'm going to give her some silly Advice. The other women were assistants in taking and distributing the necessary ingredients.

Auditor Sphilla-Zaza and his share of Mim are pulling themselves back with the hunters and watching over our work. Polearths and bozzles, that's the same thing.

With them watching, it was first the underneath of the fabric.

"The portions are 1 Poitan versus 4 Black Fuwano. I use these vessels as a guide because the amount of water will need to be half the weight for fuwanos and poitans."

"Black fuwano weighs four, Poitan weighs one, water weighs half the ingredients,"

And all of a sudden, my voice rose from behind, so I look back gibberish.

There, a relatively young man stood up with a large wooden plate.

"Um, what are you doing?

"Yes, I've asked for a role in writing down how to cook."

When I saw it, the board was stretched with a wretched piece of paper like papyrus, and the man's hand was gripped with a brush. A wooden cylinder with black paint is lowered at the waist.

It is a tool that we do not see much of in Inn Town. In other words, in the first place, letters were only used in the Inn Town in the form of shop signs and sinners' arrangements.

(I see. I was anxious to be able to communicate the recipe accurately in just one day, but if I could make a note, I'd be a little relieved)

If they could leave that in letters, such as the amount of ingredients or the time to heat them up, their burden should have been a lot less.

(I mean, that's lame. I'm jealous. Even the woodland ladies should be able to remember recipes for their dishes more quickly if they can take notes)

Can we not incorporate this even in forestside settlements somehow?

Paper, brush, etc. are not that important. Whatever it is, it can be carved into a board with a knife. If I could only remember a few letters and numbers after that, I should have been able to leave my recipes and those of Raina-Lou's with precision until future generations.

(Well, it's a big deal to remember that letter. If everyone by the woods seems to be interested, let's not rush into it)

With that in mind, I proceeded with my lecture.

If I add water and sprinkle the dough, this time while I put it to sleep, I'll get to cooking the sauce. A mix of smoked fish and seagrass.

While simmering it, Tartumai spoke blushing.

"That juice made by Lord Asta was very delicious. Smoking of fish and seagrass, however, is a rare ingredient delivered from the King's Capital in the west. If this many cooks treat it, they will eventually run out of numbers"

"Yeah? But I only tried to bring those ingredients back about Lord Varcus and Lord Asta, so they were still extra like mountains, right? If you don't have to worry about it getting so rotten, but you can use it to the point that it's not enough, this one will help you a lot. If you're going to need a lot more, you'll have no problem if you add more purchases to it."

When Polearth responded that way, Tartumai said "but" with a quiet glance.

"Is it once or twice a year at most that the ingredients arrive from the King's Capital in the west? If you ask for a new number, it won't arrive in a few months, and it won't be sure you'll get the number you need."

"That's your opinion, but as far as we're concerned, it's the most important thing to be able to use ingredients without spoiling them."

Rarely, Polearth's grin had turned into something somewhat bittersweet.

"It is the Count Turan family that is buying ingredients from the Wang capital and the Marquis Genos family that is replacing it by half their shoulders. If Lord Varcus wants to monopolize it, he'll have to talk to the merchants of the king's capital himself."

Tartumai was silently thankful and wanted to pull.

I'm sure this old man was representing the feelings of Vulcus, who would not want to be used with rare ingredients for the murmur.

"Well, Sims' vanilla and Jagal's tau oil have also been revamped to trade more than ever. That's also a story that brings more wealth to Genos, so if you need it, you think you can get your hands on it so that any ingredients will be traded in sufficient quantities?

In the sense of looking at the big picture, Pole Earth should definitely be up there. In other words, Varcus hasn't seen the big picture or anything from the start, and he's just passionate about even exploring delicious dishes.

As far as I'm concerned, I didn't have to be struck in the chest by the hiccups, but I decided to keep my mouth shut for the most part because I couldn't agree with Varcus that it would be better to let it rot if it were enough to be tailored to dishes where rare ingredients couldn't be made.

"If you're going to run out of smoked fish and seaweed, you just use other ingredients to make delicious juices. More importantly, it should be drilled every time it comes to flavoring juice."

It was Timaro who spoke that way.

"If not, get involved with the cook's ticket. We are not disciples of Lord Asta."

"Yeah, that's a good point, too."

As I nod to Eagle Deep, Polearth turns his gaze towards me.

I couldn't rest my mentoring hand, and I laughed at you.

"I share Timaro's opinion. I don't think you need to imitate my taste until the juice because this time the eyes are only 'how to finish the black fuwano'"

"Hmm. Nothing. You don't need to stick to ingredients called fish or seagrass, do you?

"Of course it is. I was born in an island country and never crippled with fish or seagrass. That's the kind of land pattern that must have made this kind of way of taking stock mainstream. Because cooking is guided by the grace of the land, I think it would be most right to devise dishes like Genos in Genos."

"I see," he smiles, as he was also good at por earth.

Timaro didn't look very happy, even though he had his opinion through.

(Well, if they're going to cook a dish you don't even want to cook at your greatness's convenience, that wouldn't be an interesting place to be as a cook)

Then I would appreciate it if you could use this dish as a knockdown and devise something even more delicious. If it is Timaro, is it also possible to create a unique Genos stream by the sawdust?

(As far as I'm concerned, I'm just very satisfied with the noodle dish taking root in Genos)

Somehow, I also felt like my last concern, which I was obsessed with in my heart, could have been addressed thanks to Timaro.

This is a task I undertook out of my feelings of redemption for the people of Wellhide and Banaam. But that's our convenience with the burden on Banaam, so I was sneaking up on Timaro and wondering if it had turned out to be a lot of hassle.

Had the nobles commanded them, there would have been no way for them to give thanks either. So you have to be guided in cooking by such a young man, so it should never be interesting.

But if they come up with a new black fuwano dish where they can either improve this "black fuwano noodle noodle" by themselves - or they can make something better than this, it won't hurt anyone.

All watching the cooks with a serious eye, I could think that way.
