Thirteenth Day of the Green Moon ① - Unexpected Visitors

Three days had passed since the auditors of the Wang capital were questioned.

As for the date, the 13th of the Green Moon. Yesterday was a holiday, so today is the beginning of another five days of business.

The interrogation the other day closed the curtain in a much more disturbing way, but then three days until today were safe. No, it's rather quiet, I might say. The people by the woods were not called to the castle towns, nor were the soldiers of the lodging towns making a scene, and they were at peace as if all their routines had returned.

But of course, during this period, in the castle town, meetings were held between Marquis Marquis Marquis Marstein and the auditors, as they did every day.

We were able to find out what was going on through Kamua-Josh and Zashma. The auditors, as usual, seemed to plot to take Malstein's fried feet in a sticky manner, but the story was that they managed to repel them.

"Well, to be honest, with political skill, Marquis Genos should outnumber the auditors a lot. In the first place, there is no darkness behind Marquis Genos, so it would be advantageous to slash each other head-on."

When it was, Camua-Josh, who visited Kimmus's Tail Pavilion, was such a twist.

"So we should be careful now. I don't know what kind of prankster the auditors feel they can't fathom with a positive offense - they don't necessarily harass me in the middle of some kingdom law shambles, so be very careful with Asta and the others."

It was a peaceful day, biting off such advice.

Either way, I can't feel any signs of a change coming today either. We were still solemnly engaged in business today with five stalls lined up in the outdoor area of Cebu Town.

"Well, when Asta was suddenly called to Castle Town, I wondered what the hell was going on. If nothing happened, I'm lucky."

Showing up a little after Jomtien and saying it to me that way was Aldas, the sub building of the architect of Jagal.

"By and large, you've known for a year now that Asta wasn't born on this continent? It's ridiculous to make such a fuss."

"Yes, if I were alive, I wouldn't have made a lot of noise... but I would have been involved in a lot of disturbances at Count Turan's house and around the forest's chieftaincy muscles."

"Even so, I can't believe Asta's not a bad guy. You know what I mean when I look at her face? I wonder if Asta, with such a cute face, could be so clever."

That being said, Aldas gave a laugh to the lavish.

Instead, the architect's beamed Balan's old man still looks upset and grumpy today.

"I guess we can't help but wonder if other humans are masterful of something, because the nobles of the King's Capital and others are what dawn into conspiracy every day. Damn, they're hard to save."

"Yep. I'd like to keep wearing it so you can manage to trust me"

"Hmm. The question is, would it be the feelings of the nobles, not you?

That was absolutely right, so I couldn't find a word to give back either.

Aldas shrugs his shoulders, "That's okay."

"Whatever, if Asta's okay, that's fine. Will you continue to do business in Accommodation Town properly in the future?

"Yes, Marquis Genos can also be assured that the people of Moribe want us to continue our life as we have always done, so don't worry, we can encourage commerce"

"The Lord of Genos is an unexpected man. As a nobleman, you're good!

So the daily menu, the meat-style sautéed pot, was completed, so a bunch of architects decided to walk away to the Blue Sky Dining Room with all of them.

There is no difference in the foot of the stall. Rather, the soldiers of the Wang capital have also begun to ask for Guiba cuisine, so much so that they have sold better than before.

As to what the auditors of the Wang capital visited Genos for, it was already considered an open fact in the Innkeeper Town. It is the effect of Kamua-Josh and Zashma spraying information around the inn at night.

For humans without a dark spot behind them, under the policy that truth is the greatest weapon - Malstein had taken the tactic of spreading the status quo correctly throughout Genos. It is the intention of the auditors to prove their innocence by not covering up and spreading what they suspect and fear.

So, isn't Asta in Fa's house the spy that Malstein sent into a woodland settlement in order to break Count Turan's legs - stories that the auditors had spoken of such suspicions are already widespread in the Inn Town.

The reaction of the people who heard the rumors was roughly two patterns. There were two types: laughing it off or getting angry that it was a stupid delusion, Camua-Josh and Zashma said.

So, the reactions of such people will also be delivered to the auditors' ears through the soldiers staying in the boarding town. It was Malstein's idea to remind him of how out-of-target suspicions we had.

"So that's a plan based on the assumption that Asta is trusted by the people of Inn Town. If many people have bad feelings for Asta, that's why it's so counterproductive."

When I got that explanation from Camua-Josh, I got furiously worried. Because I only have a very limited facial rash, like the people I tied the edge with in Inn Town, I had no idea what I was supposed to be like anywhere else.

But even now, three days later, there was no such thing as my bad rumors delighted the auditors.

Instead, Dreg, a drunken aristocrat, etc. seemed to be causing a lot of frustration because he couldn't achieve what he thought at all after more than ten days of visiting Genos.

(That's why you should watch your back... but you don't know how to get them out. Then you can't be careful.)

Think of it that way. Things were brought to me when it was time for the stall business to close.

Lyelfam-Sudra whispered to me from behind when she tried to spread the last ingredient onto the iron plate.

"Asta, a human being is approaching with a slightly unusual sign. Make sure you can move anytime."

"Huh? Yes, I understand"

I pulled in a leather bag full of ingredients and looked around the street.

But I can't feel any signs of a change when it comes to this. Two moments before the descent, there were fewer guests for Giva cuisine, and the streets just saw a few passers-by.

One of them, an eastern people softly wearing the hood of a cape, approaches the stall from the northern direction.

Lyelpham-Sudra's eyes looked to the person to eat in.

"Stop. Are you a stall guest?

To Lyelpham-Sudra's call, the person stopped on his feet.

From the stall, it's still about two meters away.

"Yes. Giva food, you can sell it, can you?

"... what are you? the people of the east, and I have never seen a man without a gap as such"

"I, the people of the east, do not"

That said, the person put the hood on his back.

Look at the face that shows up from there, I accidentally take my breath away.

"Sanjula! What the hell are you doing here?

"Yes. Giva food, I came to buy it. … Asta and I wanted to have a word, a conversation, I thought."

It was a lot more of a crackling reunion, Sanjula.

Though he has chestnut hair and colored eyes, he is a mixed eastern and western Sanjula that otherwise has the appearance of only being the people of Sim. Lyelpham-Sudra had her hands on the knife pattern, glimpsing even the long-faced face that smiled softly.

"Sanjula is a man from the castle town who once took Asta. What did a man like that show up for?

"Earlier, as I said. Buy Giva food, talk to Asta, will you forgive me?

That being said, Sanjula points to her own sword from the gap in her cape.

"If necessary, knife, I'll keep it. I want to talk to you, Asta."

"... the people of the east don't feel safe with their swords."

"I, born in the west, am a people in the west. Poisoned grass, how to handle it, I don't know."

Lyelfam-Sudra asked me, looking at Sanjula's smile.

"Asta, what are you gonna do? If Asta is going to respond to this man's wishes, she'll need to call another hunter."

"... yes, then, please"

Sanjula, who had never approached the stall before, suddenly came to visit. Even for me, I didn't feel like pushing you back like this.

Chim-Sudra is called in from the Blue Sky Dining Room to scissor me from the left and right with Lyelpham-Sudra. I decided to put Fay-Baim on the street and come to a dialogue with Sanjula.

"... knife, do you want to keep it?

"I don't mind if I stay put. But stay away from Asta no further."

We were a little off the stall, relative to Sanjula.

Sanjula lowers her head gently as she smiles.

"Business, I'm in the way, and I'm sorry. We are also grateful for the dialogue and response."

"No, I don't mind that... is this some sort of auditor story that you've been visiting me at this time of year?

"Yes. I, a very difficult position, stand. I know you're wrong to wish for this... but I want you to lend me the help and help of the forest people."

That was quite a word, Sanjula and others.

"What the hell does that mean?" And I make Sanjula nod.

"Yes. The auditor of Wang Du, my identity, it seems that I have learned. So, I, the tool of the conspiracy, am going to be."

"An instrument of conspiracy? When it comes to Sanjura's qualities... are you referring to the qualities surrounding the Count Turan family?

"Yes. It's me, Cycleus, my son. Certificate, there's nothing to talk about… they, the certificate, are trying to find it"

Listening to the word Cycleus, Lyelpham-Sudra glowed her eyes again.

"Right. You were also said to be the son of a nobleman named Cycleus."

"Yes. Me, Doug, I was born and raised. Five years ago, I lost my mother, Cycleus, and I was taken. … they, Doug, bear witness to me, my son, trying to find"

"So, what are we going to do now? I don't think so."

"Yes. I, Count Turan's family, must be trying to make you inherit. I'm older than Lefreia and I'm a boy."

I was truly surprised.

Sanjula is smiling like she's in trouble.

"Well, what do you gain from doing that to the people of the king's capital? In the first place, they must have suspected the connection between Genos and Sims."

"Didn't you connect with Sims, think about it, and throw it away? Or from the start, I didn't mean it, I think. Sim, it's so far away, Genos, it's a hard story to get behind."

That, indeed, was also pointed out by Schmiral in the context of the interrogation. Besides, Tal-on was also able to pull himself in without much resistance.

But yeah, that's why I had no idea why I was going to put Sanjula in the head of Count Turan's house.

"They, I, thank you, are trying to make me submit. So, Marquis Genos, you're thinking about putting it up against you."

"Give thanks? … Oh, is it helpful to give Sanjula the Lord's seat? So, you're talking about them being the back shield of Count Turan's house."

"Yes. I, such a future, did not want. So, Refraia, if I were to be happy, I would have obeyed... Marquis Genos, turning to the enemy, I don't think it's right. Refraia, now more than ever, you'll be unhappy."

If I knew Sanjula, I would certainly have thought so. He is the one who also abandoned Cycleus, who may be his own father, in order to protect Refraia.

"I understand the story. But can we help you with anything?

"Yes. Already, power, given. I, the people of the woods and I, if I may think so, will give up the auditor of Wang Du, the conspiracy."

That said, Sanjula smiled with a grin.

"So every day from now on, I want you to cook, come and buy Giva, forgive me. That way, auditors, our relationship, you'll suspect. In fact, if we don't bond, if we don't bond, if we look like we're bonding, that's enough."

"What is that? So, the idea is to take the fellowship side of the people by the woods and get away with it?

And, Lyelpham-Sudra speaks out in disgruntlement.

"You're the one who looked down. I thought you were just using us to help."

"But I, I take Asta, I have sinned. People by the woods, bond with me, you won't want"

"Make an effort to bond and make fun of those words. Sung, even the people in the main house were guilty of no less than that, but they were allowed to suffer punishment."

Indeed, Digga and Dodd were even trying to take my life. Even if half of it was Yamil-Ray's inward wisdom and the other half was a drunken momentum, it was supposed to be such a nastier act than Sanjula's.

Sanjula smiles as troubled as Lyelpham-Sudra sneers at her.

"But I... sexual root, it's shallow. Forestside people, be friends, they don't deserve it."

"I don't care if you say that again. I guess if I reopen it to poison my existence, it'll make life easier."

Thank you. Sanjula's words seemed to touch Lyelpham-Sudra all the time.

Sanjula lowers her brow butt like she's in increasing trouble.

"I, shallow, will make you angry. I'm sorry."

"So if you think it's shallow, you're telling me to make it right. You have so much power, why are you so upset?

"... it must be because of me, my heart, my weakness. I, the happiness of Refraia, am so weak that I can't carry anything but wish."

"You must have come to such a place to save that Refraia and them? Then die for it."

Sanjula looked back at me with the same look on her face.

"Asta, me, what can I do?

"Right. If we're talking about wanting to come and buy Giva food every day, shouldn't we try to take advantage of the opportunity to make a real bond with the people by the woods?"

Think about it, and I'll give you that answer.

"For example, if the people of Wangdu asked the people of the woods about their relationship with Sanjula, they'd have to answer that he was just here to buy Giva food on his own. Because falsehood is a sin to the people of the woods, no matter how much they ask, they don't lie."

"That's... of course, lying, I can't say..."

"Sanjula thought that the Marquis of Genos should not be turned against the enemy, right? Then, for one thing, I'm on the side of the people by the woods. From the standpoint of our allies, shouldn't we try harder at all so that we can be able to call ourselves companions and friends?"

Sanjula exhaled with a pale smile.

"Okay. Very difficult, I think, but I will try. Besides, being on your side, I'm pretty sure. I'm good at exploring stories, so what the auditors are doing, what they're telling you, it's possible."

Sanjula was originally assigned a spy-like job by Cycleus. I guess you're no better than Camua-Josh and you're good at that kind of work.

"Today, for example, we were releasing a person named Ruid, an accomodation town, and a messenger. Soldiers, is anything different?

"Huh? No. Especially... a few people showed up at the stall, but you didn't look unusual."

"Really? But it seemed like a person, a person, a person named Ruid, was hung up. Genos man, don't be enlightened, let out the messenger, isn't it disturbing?

That may indeed be disturbing when it comes to disturbance. If there was no darkness behind the people of the king's capital, there should not have been any need to blind the eyes.

"... how much of a limit did you see with that messenger?

And Chim-Sudra, who had been silent until now, opened his mouth to the lid.

Sanjula stares into the sky with her eyes alone, "Right," she said.

"That was just... six moments up, before the bell rang. If you're on your way, you'll arrive in Jomtien, about half an hour ago."

"I see. Then maybe your words aren't false either."

"Oh, was Chim-Sudra watching that messenger?

Unexpectedly as I clasped my mouth, Chim-Sudra stuck in words for only a moment, then nodded "um".

"Just about there came a soldier-like man on Totos from the north. The Astas were busy in business, so I guess they didn't notice."

"Right. I didn't notice at all."

Chim-Sudra stared at my face for some reason.

but he seems unwilling to speak any further, silencing himself with his mouth as a letter to.

"Careful, I think you need it. Moribe, until you return, but be careful."

That being said, Sanjula glanced more at Lyelpham-Sudra.

"Thus, we can tell you the information about the castle town. This kind of doing, overlapping, friendship, bonding, is it really?

"I wonder. Sung, the great sinners in the main house were never given Mr. until 300 and 30 days had passed. The two particularly serious sinners have not yet been given a Mr.... and the sins of the past are not so easy to wash away."

Lyelpham-Sudra looks back at Sanjula with a very harsh eye.

"Okay," said Sanjula.

"In the future, I encourage you to work hard and not neglect.... So it's time for you, Giva dish, let me buy it? Giva cuisine, Refraia, very pleased, I think"

"Oh, it's time for some dishes to go together when they're sold out. Find easy food to take home."

Just to be clear, I personally don't hold any grudges against Sanjula anymore. I was just in the position that I couldn't easily forgive everything in front of my fellow forest brethren, who had been so furiously angry at me for being exposed.

I still have feelings close to hostility towards Sanjula, especially with Ai-Fa and Rudd-Lou and Sin-Lou. Also, as for me weighing the observational eyes of the Ai-Fas, I was wondering if it would be dangerous to unconditionally trust Sanjula.

(I'm sure Sanjula is not a person who moves in the good and evil of things. As I said myself, all I care about is Refraia... if it's for Refraia, I'm in danger of dyeing my hands for any major crime)

But then, if we can bond firmly with each Refraia, it feels like there will be no more dangerous elements.

This time it would be the outfit that walked over from Sanjula in an unexpected way, but if I could bond this to the occasion, it would have been where I wanted it to be.

"In the meantime, let me also preach Sanjula's words to the chiefs and to Camua-Josh. So, there's no problem, is there?

"Yes. Much appreciated, I think"

Sanjula went back to Castle Town with "Kel Grill" and "Gibba Flavored Grill" in his hand.

Lyelpham-Sudra is sniffing "hmm" as she drops off behind it.

"It's a good one. Well, I guess it's not just my fault that I grew up with someone like that."

"Right. I think so, too. Living as a concealer of Cycleus must have been a lot of hard work."

I squeaked and I tried to answer that.

While I was doing that, my street food sold out. The closing time should already be current.

That's how I clean up my share of the stall, and they're approaching Lyelpham-Sudra and Chim-Sudra who changed positions.

"Asta, I need to ask you something."

"Yes, about Sanjula, any questions?

"No, it has absolutely nothing to do with that... does Asta know how old I am?

That was a long, unexpected question.

I was carrying hot iron plates along with Fay-Baim, and I look right back at you.

"Yeah, I heard it when Chim-Sudra gave you the wedding, but you're only, like, sixteen, right?"

"Oh, yeah.... So, Asta's turning eighteen."

"Yeah, that's right."

Chim-Sudra had a frowning look on her face like something was stuck in her throat.

"... Asta often uses polite language, even when the other person is young. I don't think that's the wrong thing to do... but when you deal with the young people of the Lew family, you should be doing more words."

"Yeah, well, that's right"

"... after all, for Asta, are the young people of the Lew family who have been close for a long time special?

As the story progressed so far, I could just as well guess what Chim-Sudra was trying to say.

"Er, I thought Rud-Lu or Sin-Lu was younger at a glance, so you've been talking cheap from the start, haven't you? If not, we try to treat them with courtesy words today. So, if it's not something that triggers it, does it feel like we can keep talking about it?"

"............ I see"

"Do you feel relatively polite to use Chim-Sudra against them?

Chim-Sudra has become such a difficult face.

"... I didn't get so many opportunities to talk to Asta. I also feel like I'm out of line telling you to change your language right now... but when I see Asta happily talking to the young people of the Lou family, somehow... this is what makes my chest moist."

"Then I'll try to give up the language, too. In the beginning, it might get a little giddy."

Chim-Sudra narrows her eyes a little worryingly.

"Is that good? Something seems to make Asta go to extra trouble."

"That's not true. Some men my age have beaten me up for telling me not to speak politely."

"You said you hit Asta? Who the hell imitated such a stupid... oh, maybe that's the head of the Ray family?

"Yeah, I am. You got it."

"My parents, Lyelpham, told me about the Ray family's parents beating Asta. At that time, all the rest of Sudra's family were angry."

That was the event on the day Yamil-Ray was decided to be taken over by the Ray family. When I still didn't even know the name of Lyelpham-Sudra and I hadn't even met Chim-Sudra.

"Speaking of which, you've been dealing with Yun-Sudra something from the beginning with normal language. I apologize to Chim-Sudra for making you feel so strange."

"You don't have to apologize for anything. … However, it would still be nice if you could talk comfortably like that"

And Chim-Sudra smiled as if to haunt her.

It's Chim-Sudra, who looks like an adult instead of a small one, but seeing that look still seemed age-appropriate. Sixteen means he's the same generation as Rud-Lu.

"You got in the way of your job with an extra story. Looks like those stalls sold out all the food, too."

"Oh, then I guess it's a mess. Buy ingredients and head back to the woods."

Even then, that day, I could peacefully close the business.

It's just that in one corner of my head, Sanjula's words that Chief Thousand Lions Ruid was sending a messenger to Accommodation Town were caught like fishbones.
