Isekai Ryouridou

Eighteenth of the Green Moon ③ - Dinner Party

"Uh, Asta to Ai-Fa! Are you done talking to me yet?

It was Rimi-Lou who raised his voice first in the concierge's cook.

Moving on, the other ladies smile and say naughty words. It was Rudd-Lou and Joo-Run who had escorts inside the cook.

"That was surprisingly quick. It hasn't been a moment, has it?

"Yeah. Unsurprisingly, I was able to talk through it. I think it's because Malstein chewed me up."

Instead, however, an unexpected circumstance was also to arise in which Talon would be charged as a rebel.

Let me tell you about it, Rudd-Lou shrugged his shoulder "heh".

"Well, then, there was one bad guy. Camua-Josh said there was no such thing as a bad guy."

"Well, we're just talking about the suspicion so far. Besides, I don't know what the thought of that person would have been without the chiefs' decision."

"Decisions are about Senley, aren't they? I still don't know what Gazran-Rutim said about getting rid of the nobles."

The bizarre story of all the people by the woods being baptized by Western God was also at this rate for Rudd-Lou.

But this is not like there's something wrong with KosaraRud-Lu. Even with the Chiefs, it was the same reaction at first.

Whatever the internal circumstances, the people by the woods have been the people of the west who have lived in the territory of Genos for more than eighty years. It took a long time to understand why emphasizing it now would move the auditors' minds.

I mean, I guess that's all the people by the woods didn't understand or feel what faith was in the four great gods. I don't understand it at the moment, so I decided to take two days to conclude that it's best to do everything in my power to understand it.

"We should be more aware that we are also sons of Western God than we live by Morga Forest, the territory of the kingdom. Can we finally take the most right path when we have been able to accomplish it, remembering the joy and pride of mothering the forest?

Gazran-Rutim said so with certainty.

I think Graf-Zaza and others looked bitter until the end of the day. I guess I was really not dissatisfied that I had to put the previously unthinkable Western God and others in the same place as my mother's forest.

But at the end of the day, Graph-Zaza had also endorsed it.

If we deny our faith in the four great gods, we can only turn the kingdom itself against our enemies. With that in mind, we decided to choose the path to follow.

"After all, I think that's the job we left behind 80 years ago... and it's going to be hard on you guys..."

Grandma Ziva said that to me.

The rest of the family in the main house had returned to their rooms after supper, but only Grandma Ziva had attended the meeting as long as she remained fit.

So Grandma Ziva finally decided to exchange words with Camua-Josh as well.

Camua-Josh, who appeared more or less in the middle of dinner and was joining the meeting as it were, had offered various advices with a slight smile as usual.

"The people by the woods are just honest and clean people. But if you're so indifferent to the Four Gods, there may be a great deal of discord between you and the people of Genos, and I think we should show the right path for the people who live now, even for the blood families who live in ten or twenty years."

Speaking that way, Camua-Josh had a clear eye.

I always had the feeling that there was something similar to Grandma Ziva's. When the eyes of the two crossed, I held an unexpected emotion in my chest.

"Me too, I think you're right... I guess 80 years ago we wouldn't have had a hard time with our children or grandchildren if we had been able to think that way..."

"No. Before that, you lived without touching the outside world in the Black Forest, so that's the only way. Having spent a long time in this land, it must mean that the right path has finally been paved."

That being said, Camua-Josh was smiling quietly.

"I have a strong respect for the people of the woods. We are truly delighted that you have made this land your home. So please, these auditors, with the strength of your strong will, drive away and restore a healthy life again."

He is usually a Camua-Josh who doesn't break his blurry attitude even when making serious remarks, but when exchanging words with Grandma Ziva, I think he seemed a lot strange. It should also have been a major contributor to moving the minds of the chiefs.

"If it fits round, so be it. So when are we gonna get that Senley thing?

In Rudd-Lou's words, I was supposed to wake up from memory.

"We should be discussing that with the chiefs and nobles right now. I guess we can't all make it to Castle Town at the very top, so I guess we'll be able to split it it up a few times."

"Hmm. That's an awesome story to get into the stone walls as far as the Ziva woman and Kota. I can't imagine."

When Rudd-Lou said so, Rimi-Lou, who was looking after the iron pot, has put on a wholeheartedly happy smile.

"But it's not just the people of the woods, it's the people of the west. Think of them as compatriots, right? If you and Tara can be compatriots, Rimi will be happy!

"Right," I put my hand on Limi-Lu's little head, induced to smile, too. I couldn't help but look at that happy smile.

(It would take a long, long time for the forest people, where it was originally closed, to think of all the people in the west as compatriots. But I'm sure one day, like this Rimi-Lou, we'll all have a funny day)

That's how Rudd-Lou raised his displeasure when me and Limi-Lou were staring at him with a smile on their face.

"Don't feel safe touching how much they're chibi rimi! Don't you have a job for Asta?

That was Rudd-Lou's right, so I decided to get to my job, too.

Although the work is progressing thanks to Raina-Lou and the others, I had plenty of dishes to take charge of personally.

"Asta, I'm ready under here. Me and Sheila-Lou can help, if you like."

"Thank you. Are the Yun-Sudra's better off?

"Yes, we're progressing fine"

Together with Yun-Sudra and Tour-Din, the Matua and Rats women were also smiling at me. I'm sure I would have lost my temper at first due to the size of this cook, etc., but it looks like I'm totally getting to work at my usual rate.

And so I cleaned my hands, and when I tried to cook, Joo-Run, who was tumbling near the window, approached me with a snack.

"Um... so, did you also unravel any strange suspicions about Asta?

"Huh? Yeah, sure. The fact that I'm being baptized is a testament to my innocence."

"Really? Good for you then.... Oh, I've been showing Asta who I am. Swear to Mother Forest, that's true!

Ai-Fa, who was not far from me, also leans over on the top of the Buddha.

"Hey. Don't interrupt Asta's work. What the hell are you saying?

"So, 'cause if you were in my position, they'd have to suspect you might wish you were gone in Asta, wouldn't they? I just really wanted to avoid being put on suspicion like that!

"I had no doubt about that. Joo-Run is worrying."

When I smiled and followed him, Joo-Run lowered his eyebrows and lowered his mouth.

"Is that true? Then I'd be happy too. I've caused Asta a lot of trouble..."

"... don't interrupt Asta's work"

When Ai-Fa repeated that way in a sigh, Joo-Run said, "Yes!" and went back to the window.

On the cooking table across the street, Yun-Sudra also sighs. It seemed to take some time now for Joo-Run to fulfill his mutual understanding with both names.

Whatever it is, it is the start of the job.

I got to do my job with Raina-Lou and Sheila-Lou.

It was frightening to deflect the two hands, which could be considered the two top of Kamado's list, but their cooperation was essential for this dish.

As far as other dishes are concerned, Rimi-Lou and Tour-Din are at the centre of the process for me. Neither I nor I-Fa should have been left with so much respite, as I would have cleaned myself up in the bathroom and I had about two hours left to work.

In the meantime, a visitor was delivered by Chim-Sudra, who was taking the role of guard outside the door, when the bell rang five moments down.

Until sundown, we have a moment. The prospect of completion of the work had not yet stood, but it was the opponent who could not be driven back without a bottom.

"Hey, looks like you managed to fit round. I feel like I've finally unloaded my shoulder, too."

It was Camua-Josh.

He's already heard about one of the circumstances, and he's laughing with a relaxed face.

"Thank you very much. Um, are you also asking about Tall On?

"Yeah, sure. I didn't expect Ruid to make such accusations. I'm sure he used his precious men as a good way to build up quite a bit of depression."

"Was that really an accusation with a chance? If this is the brave leg of a guy named Ruid, it's going to be another mess..."

"I don't think you have to worry about that. Ruid's a solid character, so he shouldn't have a winless fight."

That being said, Camua-Josh narrowed his eyes delightfully.

"I don't know if Tal-on really weighed Baron Berry's intentions more than his royal life. But it seems to be a rare fact that Mitsuhito hid Dreg and took rough steps. I wonder if he will be stripped of his position as an auditor, even if he is guilty of treason."

"So you're saying that that person may not be a great sinner?

Camua-Josh nodded, "Yeah," when Ai-Fa, who stuck with me, asked.

"Or even if Talon weighed the Baron Berry family's intentions, he wouldn't fail to leave a sign of that. So I guess it's impossible to prove him as a rebel."

"So wouldn't a man named Ruid, who put up an unsuspecting suspicion, be more guilty?

"No, still, I can't move the fact that Tal-on dyed his hands in such rough means as to disobey his royal life. Dreg should be running all he can to preserve himself, too, so he'll be encouraging Ruid's push. Whatever it is, Tal-on hastily failed. You weren't strong enough to sell fights to Lord Genos and the people of the woods."

And, Camua-Josh gives people a bad grin.

"As a result, he will be seen as incompetent by both the King and the Baron Berry family. Originally he has no power whatsoever on his own, so he won't even be able to get close to Genos in the future. Perhaps this is the punishment for those who tried to trample and vandalize the mountains of Morga."

"Well, I don't think Morga's Mountain is going to punish you that way."

With that said, Ai-Fa brought his head with fortitude.

"Whatever it is, we just go our own chosen path. On one point, it makes no difference."

"Yeah. Sooner or later, the Wang Capital will send you a new auditor or diplomat. You should think about making the right bond with him first."

Thus Camua-Josh began to move with his elongated body.

"By the way, Asta has a favor to ask..."

"Oh. Maybe you want to have dinner with me or something like that?

"Wow! How did you know that?

"No, because I felt the same thing had happened before"

I made him answer that all the time with a smile.

"Fortunately, or whatever, I think we're going to get some loose ends for the tar-on being removed from the dinner party."

"Is that true?... I was wondering if you and I could split that up in half?

"Two halves at a time? Is that for Late?

"No, Late said he wanted to help Kimmus's Tail Pavilion until the soldiers retreated. It's just that Zashma's supposed to be back here about now. He's on his way to see if the Talons are in custody as Ruid ordered."

"Oh, was it Zashma? Then you can't refuse either. I'll try to prepare you to loosen up whenever possible."

"Thanks! I know it's a little early to give you a toast, but I guess you deserve it as a pre-celebration"

Nevertheless, I and I-Fa have to go back to the meeting place, so we can't have dinner together. The toast will have to be given with the Rudd-Lou's.

Having finished my conversation with Camua-Josh like that, I decided to go back to my job.

And then even in the fight against time, we do the work solemnly. Yun-Sudra and the others finished their work along the way, so while I borrowed your hand, I finished my work for the day.

Thus, the six moments of descent - is the inscription of the sunset.

It was Sheila, the maid of the Earl of Dalaim, who had knocked on the cook's door at that hour.

"It has become a time limit for dinner. If you're ready, we'll bring you the food."

"Thank you for your hard work. Shayla came here, too."

"No. I just finished my job in Accommodation Town and just got back. I can't ask you to forgive me for helping you, Mr. Polearth."

Did I volunteer to work myself when I heard about Ai-Fa being here? As always, it is Shayla who is inadvertently watching about Ai-Fa.

"Now, this dish, please. Today, I'm going to serve the dishes in two portions."

"Oh, that's an abbreviated method. Now we can help you."

Along with Shayla, the lowlifes, who had refrained, often come into the kitchen. They took all the trolleys, so me and I-Fa could head to the dining room with our bare hands.

"Thank you for waiting. This will be the dish of the cooks by the woods."

When Shayla was in the lead, there were two more VIPs there.

And Eurifia, the companion of Melfrid, and Odifia his daughter. They were also allowed to attend because this time was branded as a friendly dinner party.

There is no change in other facial rashes. It's just that Tall On's seat is flat empty. Dreg looked totally powerless, and Ruid watched as dishes lined up on the table with an iron masked, faceless look.

"I've been waiting for you, Asta. Don't worry today, let's enjoy their cuisine."

Malstein is laughing loosely. The other nobles were also roughly serene expressions, and the people of the Moribe faction waited in a solemn manner for the start of their supper.

"Today, we had a dinner party to deepen our rapport with the people of the Wang Capital, which allowed us to develop our own tastes. If you like it, I'm happy."

I - Fa was in his original seat, but I should still do my part as head chef. Although the time taken to participate in the cooking was short, I was in a position to assume full responsibility for the selection of contributions.

"In a manner consistent with its taste, appetizers, juice dishes and fuwano dishes will be served whichever way. Please keep in mind that there may be some aspects of the castle town that are not to be said goodbye."

First, a small bowl of appetizers is arranged.

That is already a sense of chopstick rest, and I have prepared a truly simple dedication.

"Hmm. Is this... is it Chang?

"Yes, it will be a dish seasoned with mammalian vinegar and tau oil"

Chang is a vegetable that reminds me of zucchini. It was sautéed in leten oil and seasoned with red mammalian vinegar and tau oil.

I also use Myrmu to flavor it, so it will also serve to promote my appetite. As far as I was concerned, it was the result of a diligent headache, as there was not much making of Western style appetizers and chopstick breaks.

"And there are two kinds of juice and fuwano dishes available. Enjoy comparing flavors if you like, as we keep our quantities modest."

From the insulated pan, the juice dishes are first taken apart.

So I turned my gaze toward Dreg, who was quietly laying low.

"However, Auditor Dregg told us that he didn't feel comfortable getting Giva meat on his mouth, so I would like to deliver just one dish if you wish"

"What? Doesn't everything mean Giva food?

"Yes, we also wanted Auditor Dregg to say something about our dishes… and we prepared both Giva and non-Giva dishes today"

Its pioneering juicy cuisine is a cream stew that is also extremely popular in stalls.

One uses giva meat and the other uses kimmus meat. Although at first glance neither is distinguishable from the other, there should have been more than that difference in terms of taste.

"And this is the fuwano dish. My name is Tarapa and Cheese Kiln Grill."

Because I can use a fine oven, I thought about making a gratin, but then the cream stew and the flavor are similar. So I was going to devise a dedication that would go well with Karon's dairy products and be a pair of juice dishes.

The prototype is pasta with tomato sauce. but this time, considering the ease of eating, I use gnocchi-type pasta. I throw cheese and pasta in a sauce with plenty of tarrapa and bake it in the oven. And they used Gibba's bacon and Kimmus's skinned meat.

"It was placed in the right hand with Giva meat, and it was placed in the left hand with Kimmus meat. As far as I'm concerned, I believe that they both have a superior and superior finish."

"They both look so delicious. I can't wait to see how much the flavors change with Giva and Kimmus."

Eurifia, who was a little crackly face-to-face, had the same graceful grin.

Next to it, Odifia, full of frills with French dolls, no less than Refraia, stares at the plate with no expression. The moment I stopped looking at that little figure, I remembered that I was left with words to convey.

"I was only going to have meat dishes because I was allowed to attend the meeting. This juicy dish was created by Rimi-Lou, but the fuwano dish was created by Tour-Din."

To the words, Odifia raised her face a bit.

Gray eyes stare at me. I grinned and smiled at the face of the missing doll.

"Of course, with regard to the last treat we serve, Tour-Din was the focus to finish it. I hope you like it."

There is no change in Odifia's expression.

It just makes me feel like my unlikely tail is shaking. For some reason the expression doesn't move, but the atmosphere alone conveys emotions, that's what Odifia was all about.

"Well, shall I have it? Odifia doesn't want to burn."

While stating so, Malstein took the silver spoon.

Moribe said the words before meals, and then followed them.

The first to raise his voice of surprise was Polearth.

"Yeah, this juicy dish is so delicious! Hasn't Lord Asta got his hands on you?

"Yes, Rimi-Lou was originally good at this dish called Cream Stew."

"Oh, I see. Sure, she's a fine cook who doesn't look good at her childhood."

It was the presence of the people of the North that inspired Rimi-Lou to develop this culinary training. Polearth and Melfried should have confirmed with their eyes that Limi-Lew had a similar culinary gesture to this to the Mahydra ladies.

"This is... really, amazingly delicious food"

And it was Baim's parents who were stating it in a pushy voice.

He and Birdu-Fow attend every meeting, but the position is that they are the seers, so they have little to say. Even to me, it seemed like the first time I'd heard his voice since I arrived in Castle Town.

"Uhm. Can the women of the Lou family cook so much without Asta? Well, if you're as handy as you are every day, that's natural too..."

"Right. Besides, I guess Limi-Lu was originally a talented daughter. It's amazing how young you can cook so much."

Birdu-Fow also responds to Baym's parents in a whisper.

That eye looked more like Donda-Lou.

"It's Donda-Lou. Is Limi-Luu the youngest sister in that main house?

"... oh yeah"

"Well, I'm still surprised. There's a bunch of talented people in Lew's main house."

Donda-Lou looks loud. If it weren't for this kind of place, I'd say, "Let it go."

"But this is really delicious. Besides, Asta's right, whether you're going to use Giva or Kimmus, it's going to taste so different."

And, Eurifia makes another statement with a smile.

"It feels very powerful and aromatic to be using Giva. Compared to that, I think it's better to use Kimmus… classy and even delicate. I guess just changing the meat doesn't make this much difference, does it?

"Yes. In juice dishes, we're also changing the stock. You only use Kimmus bone gala for Kimmus, and you use Gibba and Kimmus bone gala for Gibba. And I think there's been a big difference in flavor."

It was also a cooking method developed independently by Rimi-Lou.

The only thing close to my hometown cream stew is using Kimmus bone gala. Limi-Lu used Gibba's bone gala there with his own ingenuity and succeeded in creating a new flavor.

In other words, Rimi-Lou has reached a point where he doesn't just imitate the cooking methods I told him about. It should also have been an extremely natural consequence to be able to receive words of praise in this way.

With such satisfaction in my heart, I shall add another word

"It is Michele who is staying at the Lou family that has given me knowledge about that Kimmus bone gala. Without Michelle, it would have been difficult to make this a fine dish."

"Right. That's how the Michelle of Turan pays back his debt to the Lew family. There seems to be a right bond, above all."

Listening to Malstein, Dreg is rinsing his cream stew with a face that seems to blame his shoulder.

What is the assessment of these dishes to the people of the Wang capital? Ruid was indistinguishable because he was completely faceless.

"The people of the Wang capital were talking about how the food by the woods might suit their mouths better than the food of Genos. Did you enjoy these dishes?

Even to Malstein's inquiry, Dreg just nodded vaguely.

Malstein twists his mustache with his imaginary face.

"You guys were supposed to be face-to-face with Rimi-Lou at a previous dinner party. Still stick around and never be surprised."

"... I remember if she's the daughter of the Lew family. Surely it would be splendid if we could cook all this food at that young age"

"I wonder if it should not be called young rather than young. I'll tell you what, the older one should be the second son of the Lew family, say Raina-Lou"

Dreg looked up.

"Is that, uh, talking about my dark-haired daughter? The other daughter must have been a very young child."

"So that means my youngest sister, Rimi-Lou. This is the fourth son of Lord Donda-Lou."

Dreg's face, which was about to burn, will now look frightened.

"You mean a toddler like that cooked so much? Whatever it is, it's..."

"No, definitely in that rimi-lu. Rayna-Lew originally planned to ask her to help herself, and Limi-Lew was a non suffocating skill when it came to cream stews, so she took the blame."

Or only in cream stews and confectionery, Rimi-Lou has the skill to outsmart his sister as well. Because of this, I decided to surprise Dreg for the time being.

"Only as far as the handling of Kimmus meat was concerned, I had Raina-Lou hand in hand, but all the other cooking should have been partitioned by Rimi-Lou. It's hard to make such a stunning cream stew myself."

"... the people of the woods originally only spoke of Gibba's flesh."

Instead of Dreg losing his word, Ruid asks.

I said yes.

"Myself and Raina-Lou had the opportunity to handle the meat of Kimmus and Karon in the Inn of the Inn Town, but I don't think the other Kamadoku numbersrarely even touched their hands in the first place"

"It's amazing how much food you can cook with that. Wouldn't you be smart enough to open a shop in Wangdu?"

Ruid who did not speak much the other day, but what a favorable comment he made today.

Across the street, Eurifia is smiling.

"Plus, this fuwano dish is a big deal. Tour-din can cook this much without having to be a treat."

"Yes -" I looked back at you, and I was supposed to panic. Instead of Eurifia, Odifia was all over his mouth.

Noticing it, Eurifia smiled again as she purified her beloved daughter's mouth with a table napkin called woven fabric.

"You already know about Tour-Din, don't you? This is a young cook this Odifia is buying up sweets for. At our last dinner party, we heard she served sweets."

"Oh, she was a lot younger too, so we got to be a lot of surprises. This dish is delicious, too."

"Yeah, really. There doesn't seem to be as clear a difference as a juice dish, but Giva and Kimmus are both delicious. I guess Gibba has a stronger taste."

I'm sure Eurifia knows both of them for dinner or something welcoming the auditors. Words are exchanged with your ladylike elegance in her unique and fearless manner.

Those bright brown eyes laughed and looked more at Dreg.

"Your auditor only eats one dish, so you don't have enough, do you? If you don't mind, how about another plate?

"No, I... don't have much appetite, so that's enough"

"Yes. I don't think there's anything wrong with being mouthed with a lid plate of Kimmus dishes,"

Still, Dreg just shook his head without force, in front of an empty plate.

With that sideways, Donda-Lou calls out to me, "Hey."

"Ah, yes. Shall we prepare a second cup?

"Naturally... are you going to let that poiton rot as it is?

"Oh, excuse me. I was distracted by the explanation and forgot to serve it."

I'm sure the lowlifes were waiting for my instructions on what to do with this dish. As an accompaniment to the juice dishes, I was willing to distribute baked potatoes to those who wished.

"By the woods, we eat so much baked Poitan that it's a must for dinner. Let me know if you need it as a juice dish accompaniment"

Unconditionally distribute to the people of the woods, and give their opinions to the noble people. Hope was for three: Mulstein, Melfried and Polearths.

And those sights, Dreg looks down on them.

"Is that really, Poitan? Even before this, it seemed to serve strange dishes called Poitan dishes..."

"Yes, Poitan, once simmered dried, can be finished in a powdery state like fuwano. It's possible to finish it like this once you've finished it with water."

Still, Dreg watches suspiciously as people eat baked potatoes.

Towards you, Ruid turned an emotionally unreadable eye.

"For Lord Dregg, the birth of the Duke of Bangs family, you shouldn't overlook the treatment of Poitans. Why don't you take this opportunity to make sure it tastes good?

"No, but... Poitan is only an emergency food, isn't it?

"At least, the food served at previous dinner parties was delicious. I couldn't tell what was different from Fuwano."

Ruid moistened his throat with tea poured into a glass of vitreous, then said even more.

"Maybe something was blown into Lord Tal-on? If Poitan could handle the usual dishes, the Duke of Bangs would be able to gain even more wealth... but if you try to be Lord Talon, you might think that it would be troublesome for Lord Dreg to thank Asta of Fa's house, the people by the woods, etc."

Dreg looks back at Ruid with pity.

"After all, is that what this is about? Lord Talon said after the dinner party that only that Poitan dish was powdery and not worthy of mouth."

"Isn't it possible to find out as much as it is true? You'll have to find your own way, Lord Dregg."

Dreg's eyes have turned to mine, still with a puzzling look on his face.

"So... can you split that up for me, too?

"Yes, of course. This is a mix of a small amount of guillo in a poiton and baked it."

A baked poitan with a small cut of his last name was sent to Dreg.

Dreg, who took a bite of it, sighs with his nose alone.

"Lord Talon tricked me again... did that Mistress have a grudge against me?

"You were thinking only of your own interests, not resentment. And to do so, there was no hesitation in trampling my head or Lord Dreg's."

Malstein watched the two interactions satisfactorily.

Then I turn to the chiefs by the woods.

"Everyone by the woods seems to be eating a lot. We talked about not being interested in meat that isn't giva, but how the hell do you feel?

"... sticky, I don't think it tastes bad. It's just until I feel like Gibba's better."

Everyone else nods to Donda-Lou's words, too.

"Well," said Malstein, turning his gaze towards me.

"Then it's time for your next dish. Looking forward to seeing what meat dishes will be served, Asta."

"Yes, please wait a moment"

When I give my thanks, I also stand up Ey-Fa, who shoved the baking poiton in his mouth that he had in his hand. Seeing that, I laughed unexpectedly.

"You don't have to force me to travel with you. I'm not an escort today."

Of course there is no way that Ai-Fa will hear such words, leaving the dining room with Shayla's guidance. Needless to say, while walking down the corridor, Ai-Fa has been sneaking up on his head for a little while. Even though it was only a short distance from the dining room to the cook, Ai-Fa wasn't supposed to allow me to act alone.

Whatever it is, it is the preparation of the main course.

Whether or not you can achieve the desired results there. As far as I'm concerned, I had to set my mind and see the end.
