Accommodation Town Exchange (5) - Supper
That's how we had a good half day.
The trip to the Westwind Pavilion for supper was half an hour before sunset, half an hour after the fifth hour of descent. It would have been about two and a half moments before we arrived in the square of Vaillas, so the time of all three moments had passed instantly.
"Hey, I was wondering what the hell you're gonna do from noon till sundown, but when you're done, it wasn't long."
Walking down the streets, which are getting a lot dimmer, let me put it that way, and Yumi says, "Right?," he laughed.
"If it's true, I'd love to play it every day! If you like, before the hunter's work begins, why don't you come visit me for a little while longer?
That wasn't for me, that was the word directed at Joo-Run, who was walking right next to me. Joo-Run nods "yes" with a smile.
"I don't say it once, I want to come visit you twice or three times. I'll talk to my parents because I'll be a few more days and the rest period is over."
"Yeah, 'cause I'm looking forward to it!
The two of them seemed to really enjoy themselves.
But stick with me, I don't feel strange about the air. If I may say so, it is unusual for a man by the woods to be so comfortable with a heterosexual person without blood.
As we speak, there is no better street than the West Wind Pavilion. The moment I stepped into that street, I approached a distance close enough for Ey-Fa, who was walking next door, to almost touch my body.
"Duh, what's up? Did you even show any bad signs?
"It's not. But I should have been told this place needs more caution than others"
To Ai-Fa's words, Yumi laughs "haha".
"I did advise you that, though. Exactly. No fool sells fights to hunters by the woods. Not to mention, the sun hasn't gone down yet."
"Well," he said, while the position of Ai-Fa remained unchanged. Even if I don't touch my skin, I feel a tingle in Ey-Fa's temperature, which makes me feel unwittingly dodgy.
Indeed, the street had a much rougher atmosphere compared to Vaillas Street and others. Overall, the house is very old, and the crowd is low.
It doesn't bother me at all during the day, but when the sunset approaches and dims, the atmosphere changes immediately. I'm sure the previous information being heard from Yumi will applaud that impression. It was a notorious slum where even guards couldn't get close to being single at night.
"Well, we have to go deeper than our inn, there's nothing dangerous about it. If I didn't, I wouldn't even invite everyone from the woods."
The Jou-Rans, who have also visited this place three days ago, were all walking down the road without worrying. It seems that the only ones who are somewhat concerned are the elder brothers of Ai-Fa and Din. Din's eldest brother was subtly skipping his gaze around him while leaning perfectly against Tour-Din.
"Come on, we're here. Don't hesitate to relax, everyone."
When Yumi opened the door of the Westwind Pavilion, a very cheerful voice was raised. We were just stopping by, so the majority of the residential townspeople were ahead of us.
There were only thirty young people, down to about twenty. However, there are still just over thirty members by the woods. The cafeteria of Westwind Pavilion, which is not that big, was almost 70% filled with our discerning faces.
"Oh, you're finally back, Yumi. Look, just work for me."
Sil, Yumi's mother, calls from across the counter. When those eyes caught me, they narrowed me down with joy.
"There you are, Asta. And everyone by the woods. I've known Asta and her daughters for a long time, but I don't think there's going to be a day to welcome her as a guest in our inn."
All the members of the stall were familiar, as Giva meat was delivered to the Westwind Pavilion for a few days. Both Tour-Din, Yun-Sudra and Faye-Beim have each returned their bows.
"Well, then, I'll help the cook. Everybody, take your seats."
"Yumi, what should we do with this load?
And Din's eldest brother, who held a large crate, raises his voice. We stopped by Kimmus's Tail Pavilion, where we keep our luggage, to pick up this luggage.
"Oh, well. Mother, this is a souvenir from everyone by the woods."
"A souvenir? I'm sorry about that. You're a pretty good customer, aren't you?
"Mm-hmm. I want you to think of this as a thank you to Yumi for all the broken bones. We had a great time today, thanks to Yumi."
Sil narrowed her eyes and said, "Thank you."
"Well, then, you'll be happy to. What's in it?
"This tool is stuck, it's called confectionery. If you don't mind, I want everyone gathered here to sift after their meal."
"Oh, you're the one Yumi was so proud of. This guy is a delightful souvenir.... Hey, you, hey and thank you too!
From the entrance and exit leading to the cook, Sams, the innkeeper's master, appeared as a sleigh.
He is the father of a mercenary scumbag with a harsh appearance. Sams has looked around at us with a candley look as he scratched an old wound carved into his neck.
"... did you really want to come today? We're going to lose the clearance for other guests."
"Oh no, you win something fast! Everybody's a customer, so don't be mean!
After stating so, Yumi laughed more at Din's eldest brother.
"My mouth is bad, but don't worry about it. Even our inn is taking care of a lot of giva meat!
"No, Yumi's father hears that he once harmed his countrymen by the people by the woods. Then it's only natural that it takes time to earn trust."
Din's eldest brother, smiling gently, offered Samus the crate.
"I hope today's gathering will also help spin the right edge. Please, I want you to take this."
"Hum," Sams snorted, receiving the crate.
"See you later! I'll be ready for dinner in a minute!
Today's order was all left to Yumi after paying the necessary copper coins in advance. They entertain the people by the woods with the Giva dishes they usually serve at the Westwind Pavilion.
(Sounds like we've been thinking about arranging things ourselves lately, and I'm looking forward to seeing what dishes come out)
With that in mind, I'm finally going to be seated, too.
Twelve forestside people are divided into two or three and scattered all over their seats. Me and I-Fa, together with Fay-Baim, decided to interrupt the table with Levi and Terrier-Mass.
"Hi. I don't know, it feels like this is the first time you've ever spoken to Terrier-Mass"
"Yeah. The Astas have been enjoying their on-board games."
Terrier-Mass, who states so, has always been a part of the wheel of the horizontal whistle along with Levi and Joo-Run. It was the role of the men to practice the transverse whistle, and Terrier-Mass should have been interested in chatting with the woodland ladies.
"People by the woods do anything clever. Joo-Run was able to play three songs before and today alone."
Instead of Terrier-Mass, Levi is laughing fun too.
"Besides, people by the woods seem to have a strong breathing power. I think if you unpack it, it'll make a fine noise."
"Yeah, Joo-Run was the one who popped the stuffs out so many times."
Terrier-Mass laughs when he dulls. Levi and I should have met for the first time a feast of rapprochement, but it is a much more unraveled atmosphere.
"Speaking of which, what happened to the battle between Cargo and I-Fa? Looks like Ben was making a lot of money."
"... in five battles I was to lose three times. I can't help it, I can't help it."
When Ai-Fa answers that way, Levi says, "Huh?" I rounded my eyes.
"Just give me a minute. So, you're saying that Ey-Fa won twice?
"Uhm. The second and fifth time, it was my victory"
"I'm scared. That's not a clever thing to do. Even me, if I beat Cargo once every three times, I'd be superior. With as much arm as that, wouldn't I be able to earn one in the casino, too?
Levi looked heartily impressed, but Ai-Fa was a very disingenuous face. As for every battle, he is a very greedy eye-fa.
"Well, what about Asta? Asta's been enjoying her on-board games, too, hasn't she?
"Yeah. I'm not playing a match, I got a few more eye games to do. I think it's half the battle."
"What, you didn't get your hands on a match? Asta is going to be clever like that."
"Hey, I hate losing so much, so oh that's getting hot right away. That's why I kept my hands on it."
"Does Asta hate to lose? That could be a little surprising."
Terrier-Mass was circling his eyes. Across the street, Fay-Baym is narrowing his eyes like he's going to get hurt.
"I didn't have that impression on Asta either. It doesn't sound bad, it seems to me that you have a calm temper like a bunch of women."
"Well, I try to restrain that as much as possible. Besides, I think I was able to deepen my relationship with everyone around the forest correctly, and I came out mentally relaxed."
When I first visited the woodland, I thought I was about to have a vicious relationship with Donda-Lou and Dalm-Lou.
I guess it's not just because I hate losing, but because I was mentally persecuting you. Not only was I impatient with myself, but also with someone who imitated irrationally against Ai-Fa.
"Speaking of which, you talked about Baim's house being neither Fou nor Din's blood. Still, how close are you to Asta and the others for joining us this time?
To Levi's casual inquiry, Fay-Baim was to put his spine up.
"It's not like Baim's house has a deep edge with Kosarafa's house. The position would be rather the opposite."
"The other way around? What does that mean?
"Baim's house is acting together to determine whether or not Fa's house doing business in the lodging town is right. I didn't bond as a friend, like Fou's blood."
To Fay-Baim's words, Levi and Terrier-Mass were decent.
"That's kind of a much more painful word popping up. But nothing, you're not unfriendly with Asta or Ai-Fa, are you?
"Of course the people by the woods are important compatriots, even without blood fringes. But Baim's house originally took a negative position when it came to commerce in the boarding town. The same goes for Din's house, Zaza's blood family."
Levi and the others seem confused, so I'm supposed to make it up to them.
"It was a big deal for the people of Moribe to do business in the Inn Town, so there were few families who disagreed with it. That's why Fa's house got a year's respite to prove it was the right thing to do."
"A year? So you're saying you haven't come to that conclusion yet?
"Yeah. That's going to be decided in three days' time at the Conference of Parents."
"Well, then, is there any chance that the Astas will stop doing business in Accommodation Town?
Terrier-Mass has changed his complexion and embarked on himself.
I try to make him laugh, "Yes," so that I can put that mood to rest.
"But the family members who were against the deeds of Fa's house also tried to determine it properly by acting together in this way. I'm going to do everything I can, so I'm sure it'll be okay."
"I don't know, I don't believe it. Even Faye-Beim and Tour-Din are so close to the Astas."
When he was gazed at by Levi, Fay-Baim looked straight back at it.
"Yumi's father once talked about his compatriots being harmed by the people by the woods, but Baim's house was once harmed by the people of the town. I still don't think it's easy for the people of the woods and the people of the town to bond as friends."
"Yeah, well, until I met Asta and the others, I thought I'd screw the people by the woods."
"Yes. I guess that's a big step, even if it's just about spending the day as a friend"
For all seriousness, Fay-Baim overlaps words like that.
"Whatever it is, the forest chiefs and parents are bound to choose the most right path for the forest people. I will obey his word."
"Yeah, I believe him, too. I don't want to hang out with everyone in the woods."
When Levi replied that way, he said, "Thank you for waiting!" The voice of Yumi echoed.
When I look him in the eye, Yumi and Sil are carrying a big basin by the two sides. There were a number of wooden dishes on the basin from which the hot air was raised.
"It's a juice dish first! And tell me how much fruit liquor you need, per table!
"Oh, you won't start without fruit liquor. Guys, you want a drink?
Terrier-Mass had responded with a "yes," but each of the three by the woods was to return words that lacked exuberance.
"Sorry, I can't drink."
"I also try not to talk outside the settlement"
"If you two don't get spoken of, I won't either."
He's not as noisy a levi as Ben, but he just said, "Why not! ♪ And I got to twirl ♪
"You've got to be kidding me not to drink in a place like this. Why can't Asta drink?
"Uh, in my hometown, I was forbidden to drink until I was twenty. That's why you've hardly had a mouthful of experience."
"But now Asta is a people of the west, isn't she? It won't matter what your hometown arrangements are."
"Yeah, but it doesn't make any difference that I was born in that country. I made my own decision to refrain until I was twenty, because I was more vulnerable to alcohol than the people of the west of birth and could be harmful to my body."
Levi looks back at Ai-Fa as she unfortunately frowns.
"So, what about I-Fa? How come you don't drink outside the woods?
"That's because I work as an escort. Until you leave this inn and return to the woods, you'll still be in danger of being attacked by outlaws."
"But at this last gathering, the other guys were drinking, right?
"That's probably because I'm confident that even if I mouth alcohol, I won't lose strength. I'm not that strong on booze, so I'm going to stick with it."
Levi pointed his gaze at the last one as he spilled a sigh of sigh into the resolutely uttered Ey-Fa.
"Well, could you at least drink just you? It's too sarcastic to drink only two of the five."
"Really? Okay, let's have it."
Fay-Baim flicked the foreword lightly, so he managed to fit the spot round.
In the meantime, a sill with a basin is approaching us.
"Thank you for waiting. Let me carry more and more from the one I can."
The identity of the juicy dish was known before it approached. Soup-tailored, 'Giva Curry'. The Westwind Pavilion sells curry vegetables that I was able to buy from them in this way.
"Heh, that's a lot too watery.... You're not making it look like this to finish cheap, are you?
Levi asked me sneakingly, so I nodded, "Yeah."
"It's a dedication that I came up with to save on the cost of the ingredients, but if the flavor drops, I can't fathom it to another inn. There's got to be something different about Gibba Curry."
"So is this the dish Asta taught you? Then don't worry."
Levi quickly took up the wooden spoon and just rinsed in the soup-tailored 'Giva Curry'.
"Oh, this guy is delicious. It doesn't taste too thin at all."
With my own tongue, I decided to check it out.
Sure, it doesn't taste thin at all. I should be using caron skimmed milk at the base of the soup, so it was very thick and mellow around the mouth.
Beyond the strong flavor of the curry, the flavor of Myrmu is also felt. Besides Aria and Chach and Nennon, there were also red tarapa skins floating around. This is the original idea of Westwind Pavilion.
Eat an accompaniment baked potato and it's extraordinary again. After all, soft-boiled giva momomo meat is at the core of the dish. Neither did Levi or Terrier-Mass, who enjoyed 'Curry Chaska' at the feast, raise their dissatisfaction with this dish.
"Hmm. Tailored to juice, don't talk to me about it."
Ai-Fa also has a satisfying face.
Even from the surrounding table, there was a voice of praise flying.
"Yes, it's fruit wine. Besides, it's only yakitori and boiled food."
One dish after another is arranged by the hands of Sil and Yumi. Sams doesn't show up at all, so I'm sure he's in charge of serving. Everyone was cheering whenever new dishes were delivered.
The okonomiyaki is a chives style finish developed during the rainy season and is served with mayonnaise and uster sauce covered with chit fruit. This is also a dish that is not often made in Fa's house, so Ai-Fa had her eyes narrowed in nostalgia.
The stewed dishes are served with sauces I don't know about. I'm sure this is a new menu developed by Yumi and the others here recently. Yumi and the others were working on research every day, distressed not to get their hands on very expensive ingredients.
"What, that's a lot of noise. You're renting out today?
And I heard a man from the entrance.
When you look at it, there are about three elderly men standing side by side who have committed trespasses. One of them looked around the dining room with a slight facade.
"Come on, aren't these folks from the woods? Why do people from the woods drink in these inns?"
Yumi realizes that, "There you are," he says cheerfully.
"I'm not renting out anything else, so you can sit in your empty seat. Or are you scared of the hunters by the woods?
"You're kidding me. I've gotten used to seeing hunters by the woods in the past year."
That voice sounded familiar to me, so I made him stand up from his seat.
"Good evening. It was dark and I didn't see your face well. Don't worry, we're guests today."
"Hmm? Oh, you're the stall brother. You came all the way here."
"Yes, I've been staying in Accommodation Town ever since after business"
Nothing, the three of them were regular guests of the stall. The faces are bad, but they are good customers.
"Sometimes it's unusual. Well, if you're sitting here as a guest, we don't have a lot to complain about."
"Oh. It's not usually the case that such young daughters push. It's gorgeous and cool."
Those three also sit at the nearby table and Yumi approaches them to take the order. After I saw him, I decided to sit down.
"Everywhere you go, Asta looks familiar. Don't you look so cool in boarding town anymore?"
That's what Levi said as he reddened around his eyes with fruit liquor as early as possible.
Well, of all the people by the woods, there's only one person with different skin colours. I guess I don't like it, but it's something I see. So if we faced hundreds of customers for roughly a year, as we do every day, it was inevitable that we would get more familiar.
"Well, this dish is delicious."
And, Terrier-Mass gives a surprised voice.
What she was carrying with her mouth was a simmering of giva meat. White thick sauce is covered and the area appears to be loin.
If you try any of them, they are delicious. This white sauce was based on caron's milk and had quite a deep taste.
"In addition to salt and pico leaves, I wonder if they use tau oil, minced aria and white mammalian liquor. This is delicious."
"So this guy's a dish Asta doesn't know about?
"Yeah. I taught you how to cook caron's milk juice, so I guess you knitted it based on that"
"You were talking about trying not to use expensive ingredients as much as possible in Westwind Pavilion, but you can cook such delicious dishes. I kind of lose confidence."
"Never mind," laughed Levi when Terrier-Mass said so.
"It's about the outlaws who gather in this inn because they're not afraid of Sims because they serve excellent food. Terrier-Mass Inn and Guests won't wear it."
"Yeah, but I don't like what I do… it's kind of like being shown the difference in power"
"You don't. Hey, Asta?
Levi pointed the water at me and I nodded, "Yeah."
"Terrier-Mass. Because in the past year or so, you've raised your arms so much. I don't think anyone would think they were bad at Kama's job by looking at Terrier-Mass today."
"Look, if Asta says so, sure, right? Because you're eating something delicious, don't look so spicy."
As Levi laughed with a look on his face, Terrier-Mass nodded, "Yes," as he blushed a lot.
Somehow, they are both watching and mindful. Levi doesn't look that bad, so it also seemed like he looked great with Terrier-Mass, who is a grown-up.
(But Levi's about two years younger, right?... so what are we talking about)
As the meal proceeded, the dining room at the Westwind Pavilion became more and more lively. It's getting completely dark outside the window, and the general public is getting more customers, and if you notice, it's almost full. Its customers still seemed to be all the strong people who lowered their swords and the people of the East who were not afraid of it.
but those customers with an unexpected face are also unusual to the people by the woods and seem to speak up. Not to mention he came out to the one who would transfer his seat with one hand the earthen bottle of fruit liquor, and it became a banquet-like noise.
The loving Joo-Run and Din's eldest brother and others are exchanging words with those people with pleasure. Chim-Sudra, along with his companions and the youth of the boarding town, had surrounded the table with the people of the east. Do you even hear stories of journeys from the people of the east wandering around the world?
"No, you're getting busy! Are you enjoying yourself, too, Asta?
And a vibrant voice echoes there.
Looking back, Yumi, with her big basin in her hand, nearly approached us with a smile.
