Twenty-fourth Day of the Blue Moon ① - Good News
It is the next morning.
When I woke up, Ai-Fa was back to Ai-Fa as usual.
Even if Malfira-Naham shows up at work time, he returns a riddle of greetings without, for once, showing anything strange. Murphyra-Naham had his head bowed in a frightened manner today.
(I can't believe the presence of Malfira-Naham is going to disturb the minds of Ai-Fa)
Naturally, there was no such thing as me feeling strange about Malfira-Naham.
I'm intrigued by one scale of that talent, and I have a preference that you're a very honest looking daughter. Besides, its flimsy lengths and its whimsical gaze seemed loving and preferable when I got used to it, but it couldn't possibly develop into a special emotion.
(And somehow, I thought it was easy to talk to you from the start, but now I know why. Murphyra-Naham looks a little like Lolo)
Lolo is one of the travelers belonging to One of the Gamleys. On Easter night he wrapped his leather armor around it and showed off his amazing bending, that's your girl.
That Rollo, too, was about as tall as me, and slightly thin. Besides, he seemed so weak, he was always odd. Now, the strangely loving part was a little like Malfira-Naham.
(Besides, I wonder if it's similar to having more power than a crowd but less confident. I can't believe that Rollo was your daughter who could beat the hunters by the woods by comparison of powers)
Whatever, what I hold to Lolo and Malfila-Naham was a fraternity with nowhere behind me. I am a man who firmly believes in friendship between men and women.
(I wonder if I grew up with someone like that because of Lina)
What I had with Lina, my childhood friend, was an emotion closer to family love than fraternity.
But still, it doesn't make any difference that it was an emotion far from romantic emotion. Lina was so cute and so popular with the sarcastic opposite sex that I couldn't possibly have romantic feelings.
(Even Raina-Lou and Vina-Lou and Yun-Sudra are the same thing. Mostly I... I met Ai-Fa before I met them)
No, the part that grabs my romantic feelings is filled with feelings for Ai-Fa. Strong and enthusiastic love, which also encompasses fraternity and family love, can only be violently inspired against Ai-Fa. Even a little over a year after I met Ai-Fa, the feeling grew.
(If I was eager to talk about the man I just met, I might get anxious, too. I wasn't thinking enough about last night)
I thought so, but there were always third-party eyes around me, so it was hard to steam back last night's story.
Plus, well, even if I tell Ey-Fa that I've regained my normal mind, I'm sure he'll just get kicked in the leg. I was supposed to wait for another chance to be alone someday.
That is why I am doing well today.
After finishing our morning glances while giving Malfira-Naham a hand job, we were headed to the settlement of Luu.
That's where I've been waiting for you, Schmiral.
Schmiral, who was talking to Rudd-Lou and Sin-Lou and others who were working near the entrance to the square, lowered his head loosely towards me.
"What is it, Schmiral? Are you here to help the Lew family?
"No, Castle Town, I was invited."
"I finally got a new hound. Yesterday evening, a messenger from Castle Town told me about it."
Rudd-Lou, who would state so, looked heartily happy.
"I wonder how many have arrived this time. I wish I had about fifty."
"No matter how much, that would be too much to want. A hound is a story that takes a long time and effort to cling to."
Sin-Luu to state so, but the light of anticipation seemed to shine in the eyes of its slice length as well. The hunters by the woods are eager to welcome a sufficient number of hounds into their homes.
"Was it six that Schmiral bought first, and twelve that he bought next? That's not enough. There are hundreds of hunters by the woods."
"Yes, I am looking forward to how many hounds you have received"
When Schmiral answered that way, a luggage truck and some ladies approached from behind the square.
"Thank you for waiting. Best regards, Asta"
The Luu family duty today was Sheila-Lou and Vina-Lou.
When Schmiral smiles softly, Vina-Lou dyes her cheeks and turns that way. The smiling relationship between the two seemed the same.
(Gillan-Lillin said the day to give Mr. Schmiral wasn't that far. I want that day to come soon)
Whatever it is, we are leaving for Inn Town. Since it was a day trip for Fa's house to get out two luggage cars this semester, we were going to have a couple of ladies on board here to help with the Lew's stall.
"Oh, yeah. Actually, you had a consultation about the luggage truck, didn't you? Every day in the future, I think about Fa's house leaving two luggage cars, what do you think?
When I called it that way, Sheila-Lou, who was about to go up to your stand, said, "Huh?" He looked back.
"Why? Can you tell us why?
"Yes, I also noticed this morning that Din's house set out a new stall, which led to eight Kadoku numbers going down to the lodging town every day. So when I went out to the Lew house, I had to get two baggage trucks out."
Until now, Yamil-Ray had rendezvous at the Lou family, so there were only six Kamadoku numbers to go out of Fa's proximity. but the number of Lid women helping Tour-Din and one more daily personnel in Fa's house made it a total of eight. Moreover, since Malfira-Naham is currently undergoing training, one more was positive.
"The number of luggage cars is looser here, too. It's not a burden to send out two cars every day."
"Really? I understand. But it's not up to me to decide on my own, so let me tell you what I'm saying to Meer Ray-Lew."
"Yes, thank you"
After such interaction, we left the settlement of Luu. Today there are a total of four vehicles, including Schmiral's luggage.
Upon arrival in the lodging town, Shmiral heads straight for the castle town, while Yun-Sudra heads to the other lodgings. We rent stalls at Kimmus' Tail Pavilion, and it's a different outdoor area.
Even today, the slippage in commerce went well.
The daily meal of the day is "Roast Giva," which I leave to Yamil-Ray. Together with Malfila-Naham and Faye Baim, I decided to take the 'Giba-Man' and 'Kel-roasted' stalls.
"'Giba-Man' is in this steam cage. So, when the top steps are empty, refill the steam cage filled with the new 'Giba-Man' at the bottom. So, when I do the replenishment, I always flip this hourglass. By the time the top three steps sell out, the fever should be through at the bottom, but it's tough in case you feed 'Giva-Man' who hasn't had the fever. Until the sand falls off this hourglass, we should definitely get out the 'Giba-Man' at the bottom step, right?
"Yes. I understand that."
"The division of work is between the clerk who receives the copper coin and the clerk who hands over the 'giba-man'. The stewardess handing over the" Giba-Man "will fill the steam cage, and while the stewardess is working on the replenishment, the other one will take the turn of the stall alone. In the meantime, I'll be in charge of Marfila-Naham's handover of Giba-Man today."
Teaching a new job from scratch was very fresh, probably since I invited the Matua and Meme ladies. That was just because we were supposed to start training at the same time as the rainy season arrived - nearly six months ago.
(If so, has Lily-Lavitz been working in the street for over six months now? I don't know, it's been a long time)
Others, such as Fay-Baim and Gaz and the Ladz and Dagola women, have been working since just before Easter, so it's even longer. Perhaps more than eight months have passed.
(The Blue Moon is almost over, so with white, ash, black, blue, and purple... are you out of five months now until Easter of the Sun God? I don't believe it.)
And today, the 24th of the Blue Moon.
I came up with just one thought, wondering if there would have been anything, memories, etc. on this day. But today last year, two months after I was picked up by Ai-Fa, I was preparing a little extravagant dinner.
(That was probably inspired by Lara-Lew's birthday, wasn't it? Does that mean that tomorrow is Lara-Luu's birthday)
In the Lou family, there is no Kiri, which means that he never called a fa person, so his birthday was to be celebrated exclusively by his family. The exception is only the birthday of Grandma Ziva and Rimi-Lou.
So tomorrow we won't even be invited to the Lou family. Still, I decided to carve it in my heart that I would deliver the "congratulations" to Lara-Lew when I looked at him.
"Oh, oh, uh, the steam cage at the top has been emptied"
and Malfira-Naham has spoken with the mundane.
I didn't lose me one day either, so I won't rush to respond.
"Then refill the steam cage you keep there, at the bottom. The one up there is hot, so be careful, okay?
Malfira-Naham was surprised and engaged in the task.
However, I see no deficiencies at all, as it is Malfira-Naham combined with strength and dexterity. I nodded "OK" after making sure that hand flipped the hourglass.
"Now it's time to replenish the empty steam cage. Fay-Baim, please for a while."
Me and Malfira-Naham moved to the luggage and moved the crate 'Giba-Man' back to the steam cage.
"If I sell out to the minute of this crate, 'Giba-Man' is over. After that, replace the iron pan with an iron plate and start baking Kerr. More or less always," Giba-Man "should sell out a little past Jomtien."
"I understand, sir.... Oh, uh, how dare you, are you just changing your cooking along the way?
"'Giba-Man' is going to take a while to look down because you have to prepare a ton of ground beef and wrap it in fuwano skin, right? So it's best to make these numbers. That's what it feels like to be making up for what's missing with" Kelp Grill. "
"Oh, hey, I see... if you were to sell your mandarin all day, you'd have to prepare about twice as much as you do now. It's going to be tough to prepare for that."
"Yeah. I sell 'Giva Burger' and 'Giva Flavored Grill' in the same stall for the same reason at Lew's house."
Malfilla-Naham was eagerly nodding as he held a steam cage replenished with a new 'Giba-Man'.
"Ri, I understand. I apologize for making Asta lose track of this story."
"There's nothing to be sorry about. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask me anything."
That's how when we tried to get back to the stall, Thur-din came with the same steam cage.
"Hey, is Tool-Din replenishing too? Lid's ladies okay on their own?
"Yes, it's only the second day, but it seems to be getting a lot more familiar"
"That's good to hear. What about selling?
"Right. I think we have a lot more momentum than yesterday. Did the architects give their voice to the other people of the South? And with that, customers from the west and east seem to be turning their legs."
Tour-Din was smiling embarrassingly.
That eye catches Malfira-Naham all the time.
"Oh, uh, how's it going over there?
"Huh? Ah, yes. I haven't done anything to help you yet, but I'm working hard on it."
I'm swimming my eyes with both of them. It is a synergy between people who know each other.
"We're doing something here, too. Though the loose hole in Tour-Din is huge, Malfira-Naham is helpful because he remembers things."
The words "and absurdly" were to be released simultaneously from different mouths.
Although not at all similar in appearance, they are both somewhere similar.
"Oh, I'm sorry I got in the way of my job. Good luck with that, Tool-Din."
"Yes. Thank you."
Tour-Din ran away at the luggage car as quickly as a squirrel.
Malfira-Naham is breathing heavily as this one returns to the stall.
"Oh, those women named Tool-Din are splendid. It's inconceivable to me to divide the stall business at such a young age."
"Well, maybe a year from now, Murphyra-Naham will be doing just that."
"Oh, that's a terrible word."
When he arrived at the stall, the facades of the architect just appeared.
"Oh, thank you. You're here early today."
"Oh, sort of. Today, after Jomtien, the job is too tight."
I had a lot of anxiety about that word.
"That's because, after all, you've been free for us for three days, right? I really appreciate your concern."
"What are you talking about? By and large, you're the one making the plans, so if you want to thank me, I'll ask you."
"I don't want to thank you. Don't distract me."
The old man grabbed 'Gibba' with a bumpy face. It was the 'Roast Giva' stall that lined up, so I guess I couldn't stand the hunger.
"Thank you, sir.... So, uh, overlapping, I'm afraid, can't we talk about architecture for a second?
"What. Say anything you want to hear."
"That's a little bit of a story, isn't it? If you like, why don't you let me have dinner at the dining room later?
The unfathomable but friendly old man told me to "like it".
I bow my head, "Thank you," and then look back at Yamil-Ray in the next stall.
"Yes, yes, should I take care of you again? Go ahead and do as you please."
"Excuse me. Only when refilling the steam cage, I need your help. It's enough for you to see the job."
If Malfira-Naham had not been so good, he would have just asked for a good look.
I made sure the ladies got the dishes they needed and headed to the Blue Sky Dining Room before leaving the stall.
"I apologize for being in the middle of a meal. Actually, I'd like to give you some advice."
So I let the sacrificial hall talk to you.
The old man listens silently as he cheeks through the numerous giva dishes he spreads on the table. Aldas and Mayton and others in the same seat were nodding interestingly yeah.
"Tent enough for a hundred humans to get in? I think it's a big deal."
When I finished talking about one street, that's what Aldas said first.
"At that size, pillars and bones need to be built in pretty sturdy, too. Whatever, leather is heavy. If you do a bad job, everyone will collapse while the curtain is up"
"Really? Is it an impossible story after all?
"Mm-hmm. I don't know what a tent is in the first place because it's not like leaving it strained. Asta's travelers were out of Genos for half a month or so, right? It's easy to be caught in the wind when it's that big of a tent, and it's not a good idea to leave it strained."
Apparently, my thoughts were going to be scattered, too.
Then an old man moistening his throat with water from a water bottle twisted about me.
"What I'm trying to say sounds like this guy said it to me forever. Besides, do you only use that sacrificial hall for the first time in a year? Now, it's worth keeping the tent up."
"Yeah, right..."
"So you can put it up even the day before the day you use it"
That said, the old man wandered his rich jawbeard.
"In the meantime, all you have to do is build pillars and bones. All you have to do is put up a curtain every year, even the day before the day you use it. Is it next year's blue moon to use that?
"Yeah, for now, I'm planning on doing that."
"Then keep Gibba's fur by then. In a year, there's no way we're going to have that much fur ready."
"Oh, you mean using Giva's fur for that tent? I was wondering if I should even buy caron leather..."
"Don't let the fool out. How much copper do you think it would cost to buy so much leather? If you prepare yourself, you won't need any copper coins, but you won't have to bother to please the dubbers."
If you ask me, you were right. Giva fur is used as a hunter's clothing and coat even during the rainy season, so there should be no problem with its use in the tent.
"So as long as you have pillars and bones ready, that's enough. Is that like preparing just the people by the woods?
Your big eyes opened with excitement.
"Weren't you asking us for a job? There's no way you can build something that big on amateurs!
"Shh, excuse me. But the ladies won't have time left to do any more unscheduled work, either, will they?
When the old man put his cheek wand on the gap of the table, he began to conceive with a difficult face.
With that sidelined, the Aldas are on their way to eating.
"Surely until the 31st of the Blue Moon, we'll be all over it, too. But we'll do what you say."
Even as Aldas nodded like that, the old man had been thinking about it for a while.
At the end of the day, they find me again.
"This time, do you have any serious orders? Or, if you can just put up a tent that holds a hundred people, is that it?
"Yes, there is no such thing as a serious order. If it's possible, I'm free to shape and style it, because the story has been raised about whether to make it into a wood."
"Hmm. If you rub a big building like that in a tree, it's gonna cost you a hell of a lot."
When I dumped him like that, the old man stuck two fat, shitty fingers at me.
"Two days. Half a day for an estimate, a day and a half for work. If that's all, we can do about it."
"Is it two days? You're going to be done in a shorter period of time than you're going to be building a house."
"The skeleton of the tent is known. The trouble is about digging holes to embed columns. If we were to stretch fur in a building that big, it would weigh a lot, so only the columns would have to be sturdy."
Still, if I worked two days in action, would it be cheaper than the cost of building a house in Fa?
"How much would it cost to do that? I've been told by the Lou family that they're going to send out up to nine pieces of silver coins."
"... forty white copper coins."
"What, forty!?" and then I was taken by another surprise.
"No. Um, it's white copper, not silver coins? Then it seems too cheap…"
"We're full of hands until the end of the month. If I were to take a new request, I would probably stay in Genos for a long time. Forty white copper coins for that two-day rent."
Since the total number of architects is 20, does this mean that the rental of the "Great Tree Pavilion in the South" is one white copper coin per person overnight?
Anyway, I was confused.
"I understand you need a place to stay. So, what's the price for the job?"
"We're supposed to be invited to a feast by the woods. In terms of taking care of you, your muscles are getting through. So the cost of the job is unnecessary."
After saying so, the old man put together a short, thick arm.
"It was a clean job to rebuild your house, so you paid the price. Also, of all the people by the woods, it would be hard for your house alone to gain. But this job involves all the people of the woods… just the right thing to do for the feast."
"Ho, are you sure about that? Is this a big job for two days?
"Hmm. You did, but no one will complain if you throw a feast commensurate with it."
With that said, the old man kept his face close to me.
"The feast day will slip from the 31st of the Blue Moon to the 2nd of the White Moon, but there won't be any complaints there, will there?
"Also, of course. But after all, I feel so sorry..."
"That's not true," he said of Aldas.
"Even the others are so happy to have been invited to a feast by the woods. No one will complain if you decide to put your body up for it. Hey, Mayton?
"Oh. The people by the woods thought we should deepen our bonds with the people of the south, didn't they? Then we have to live up to that feeling."
Mayton was grinning with his face creeping.
"Please, let us do the job. I'm going to make a fine frame."
"Okay. I will also tell the Chiefs about this shortly. … thank you all so much"
That's what I made you say.
Aldas and Mayton smiled, and the old man was on the top of the Buddha, but he was no stranger to the gentle light in his eyes.
