A Day in the White Moon ① - A New Beginning

The next day - it is the day of the white moon.

A group of architects led by Balan's old man visited Fa's house as we tried to get to work in the morning.

A group of architects always travel in their own luggage: two pulls, two coupled luggage carriers, two extremely fine luggage carriers. Twenty workers and a number of tools require this size. One of them was the belongings of the old men who came out of Nerwia and the other was the belongings of local groups who have jobs all over the western kingdom.

"Hi everyone, good job. The original job was better, was it okay?

"Oh, before yesterday's day went down, I made sure I cleaned it up. Don't worry about it. We can get to work on the woodside."

Aldas smiles cheerfully as he faces from the side of your table. From the other side of it, the old man also peered into his face.

"I came early because I was ready, but the guide human hasn't come yet?

"Yes. I think it's time to arrive -"

That's what I was about to say, and there were signs of a new luggage truck approaching.

From the northern direction opposite the ladies, a van without a front shows up. Aldas, who looked you in the eye, "Oh," he rounded his eyes.

"Somehow, a lot of strong people have come. Is that the guide?

"Yes, don't worry, you're one of our fellow forest brethren."

While I was exchanging those words, the luggage truck came to me. All aboard the carrier were the hunters of the northern settlements, who held the reins: George-Zaza.

"You kept me waiting. They're the architects of Jagal."

Georg-Zaza, wearing Giva's fur from his head, hands the reins to his compatriots on the carrier before descending to the ground. Then, the architect was the only one who got off the carrier.

"I'm George-Zaza, the youngest brother of Zaza's main house, the chieftaincy muscle by the woods. We're here to show our guests to Sung's settlement."

"I'm the building beam of this architect, called Balan of Nerwia. I'll take care of him for two days."

A considerable difference in height between the two led to the appearance of discomfort from the top and bottom.

Even as a hunter by the woods, George-Zaza becomes quite powerful on the table, but he doesn't look more frightened than the old man. After a while I kept staring at the top of that Buddha, George-Zaza snorted "Humph".

"This is the one who's going to take care of you. I was asked to take on such a cumbersome task at no cost, and I am very grateful to ChieftainGraf-Zaza"

"Hmm. This is for the feast. I want to reward the people of the woods for their generosity."

"Oh. That feast and I'm going to have you join me as the chief's deputy, thank you very much."

Ever since I mentioned it that way, George-Zaza has turned his gaze towards me.

"You're hissing, it's Asta from Fa's house. Hasn't Tour-Din come yet?

"Yes. Since I started the confectionery stall, I've started to look like one in the carving of promises. About a quarter of an hour?"

Georg-Zaza seemed tongue-in-cheek when he could not hear the sound.

"We can't keep our guests waiting until then. Anyway, I'll show my face tomorrow, but tell him to encourage me to work again today."

"Okay. Nice to meet you today."

"Oh," he said, and Georg-Zaza returned the quizzes.

"Then you should get in the van too. I'll show you to Sung's settlement."

"Mm-hmm. Nice to meet you.... Bye, Asta."

"Yes, thank you"

Once again, Georg-Zaza took the reins and pointed his luggage at the roads by the woods.

When the architect's luggage van also disappeared following it, Yun-Sudra breathed "ugh".

"After all, I was wondering if someone from the Sung family was coming. The guide was the Zaza family."

"Yeah. The Zazas have been in a rest period for about two days now, so I'm supposed to have this job. Today's the day, George-Zaza and the others will see the architects through their work."

Moreover, it was on the side of the architect who had demanded a courier. It was about wanting to move forward with the quote, listening properly to the opinions of the people involved. It's hard to be dissatisfied after all the work has been done, so I guess that's how I got it worked out.

"By the way, I hear the Zazas had a harvest festival this time in five bloodlines, except Din and Lid."

Yun-Sudra circled her eyes as she headed to Kamado's cabin and let me talk to her like that.

"Have you combined rest periods with the rest of your family, not just the northern clan? Uh... Havilla and Dana, was it?

"Yeah, because the northern clan ran out of hunting ground first, and then they went to Havilla and Dana's hunting ground. The same way the Lew family and we did, so we got to get some rest."

"Really? The northern clans are also trying to deepen their ties with other clans, aren't they? I think that's great."

I agree with Yun-Sudra.

It was the northern clan, headed by Zaza, that was the closest settlement in the woods. It seemed truly splendid that it took active action on its own in the light of the outcome of the Conference of Parents.

"So will the northern clan lend each other a family with Luu's blood only after the period of rest has passed?

"But it should be. And then Din and Lid will lend their families to Havilla and Dana, too."

"Oh, you did. So far, we haven't talked about Fou's blood lending each other extra family and family, but I think it sounds kind of fun."

Yun-Sudra is laughing innocently.

And a slightly pranky light twirled in those eyes.

"But if you deepen your bond with the rest of the bloodline, you might get a wedding story up from somewhere. In that sense, it might be good or bad for me to talk about lending my family to each other."

Speaking of which, when it comes to Yun-Sudra's wedding, we were talking about waiting for the outcome of the Conference of Parents. If a new form of wedding is allowed, it may be easier to give a wedding to the rest of the family, so we don't have to force ourselves to find someone for the wedding in the blood clan - and so forth.

"I just want to think a little bit more about cooking, thank you, Asta"

"Ugh, yeah. Nice to meet you."

When I laughed back vaguely, Yun-Sudra smiled with such a prank boy.

"Nothing is Asta's fault that I don't feel like giving you a wedding. Please, don't worry about it, okay?

"Yeah, well, I'll do it right"

"Don't make such a troubled face even though you just made fun of me already"

That's how Yun-Sudra laughed dullly, leaning her mouth in my ear.

"When the time is up, I will also give you a wedding with someone. At that time, please bless him. I also sincerely bless Asta when she gives her wedding."

I've been disturbed a lot, but I couldn't have complained. Yun-Sudra was in a position to pull herself off, caring for her relationship with Ai-Fa, while being distracted by me and others. Now I couldn't have complained or anything.

"Oh, you two are a lot intimate, no?"

And when he threw those words at me, I was giddy.

Looking back, Malfira-Naham is looking down at us as he swims his eyes. Yun-Sudra grinned at you as she turned away from me.

"Yes. To me, Asta is an irreplaceable friend. This is a feeling that no one can be ashamed of."

"Oh, but I'm sorry. Well, I didn't mean to accuse you of anything. If you're disturbed, I apologize."

"There is no need to apologize for anything or anything. But me and Asta are just friends, so don't get me wrong, okay?

"Ha, yes. too, of course."

So we arrived in the pantry, and each one of us went about transporting the ingredients. While engaged in that task, Yun-Sudra spoke to Malfira-Naham again.

"Malfira-Naham is sixteen, just like me, isn't he? In Naham's house, don't you get stuck with a wedding?

"Yes. Mm, rather, it is still early for me to go to my daughter-in-law, they say. Whatever I put on, I'm immature..."

"Though I don't think that ever seems to happen...... were there any bloodlines, heartbreaking men, etc?

"Oh, yeah, right. I don't really know what it's like to be distracted by a man."

It may also have been a rare story around the woods early in the wedding.

But it is true that Malfira-Naham has an atmosphere that doesn't make her feel very gender. Even though I'm not dressed as a man like Lolo, it's a neutral atmosphere somewhere.

(It's not just because you're tall. hormonal balance or something)

Whatever it is, it is the start of the job.

When the time came, the women of Tour-Din and Lid also came, and they were able to finish their descent quickly.

Next, pack the finished ingredients and cookware into the luggage. Along the way, I tried to speak to Tour-Din.

"Looks like you've got one more crate. Did you increase the number of 'Gigi Mans'?

"Ah, yes. I'm sorry I sold out so fast yesterday... so I added more baggage"

"There's nothing to be sorry about. If the confectionery is selling well, I wouldn't be happier to talk about it."

To my words, Tour-Din also said yes.

The other day, he finally invited an innkeeper to the Tanto Pavilion of Grace to take care of Gigi's leaves. From now on, chocolate-flavoured confectionery with gigigi leaves should have spread in the Inn Town as well.

Incidentally, it was Tour-Din who held the role of lecturer at that time, and although he was nervous enough to feel sorry for this again, he was able to play a major role safely. To that splendid figure, what I was crying about was a secret story.

"Tour-Din looks like it's time for a paragraph on Gigi's research. In the future, in what direction?

Saying goodbye to Ai-Fa and the Braves and driving their luggage to the Lou family, I asked, "Ho, direction?" Tool-din's unreliable voice returned.

"Well, that's not how big it was... I've been using Gigi lately, so I thought I'd try to work on different colored treats."

"I see. Then Odifia would be delighted again."

I can feel the sound of happiness in Tour-Din's voice of "yes".

Today is just the third day of delivering sweets to Odifia. It would still take at least a month or so for Melfried to come back, so he was about to be invited to Castle Town another time or so before that.

"Oh, yeah. I forgot the message from George-Zaza. Encourage me to work today."

"Oh, thank you. George-Zaza will be at the feast tomorrow, won't he?

"Yeah. I was talking about two people from the chieftaincy muscle, so I guess I'll be coming with Sphilla-Zaza again"

Then I have a feeling that Tour-Din's feud is about to start again. It was a popular Thur-din anywhere, with a small flowery flair that blooms securely under the moon.

"So far last year, Tool-Din didn't help with the stalls either, did he? Back then, I was in the middle of something with Cycleus."

"Right. At Fa's house, Asta just gave me a hand job."

Tour-Din said it was smudging.

"... If my memory is not mistaken, I think one day of last year's White Moon was the day I reunited with Yamil-Ray"

"Reunited with Yamil-Ray? Oh, you mean since you left Sung's house?

"Yes, Ray's parents brought Yamil-Ray in when he was being handcuffed at Fa's house. It was a good day to separate, so it was memorable."

I didn't even remember the sunshine, but the sight was remembered then. However, Rau-Ray wanted Yamir-Ray to be at home too, visiting Fa's house in his former Totos - and that's how Tour-Din was to reunite with Yamir-Ray, trembling with fear.

"Well, it's been exactly a year since then. Now Yamil-Ray and I are perfectly close... really, a lot's happened."

"Yeah, really... that and this thanks to Asta paving the right way"

Tour-din's voice sounds increasingly sentimental.

"That's not true," I laughed as I manipulated Gill's reins.

"No, of course not. I've been trying so hard. But this is the path we've all cut, including Tour-Din."

"I am truly honored that you can say so"

Tour-Din may have been a little tearful.

Yun-Sudra's voice is also heard so that he can fool it.

"By then, I guess I hadn't been around with Asta or Tour-Din yet either. Because it must have been difficult for me to leave home for Li and the men to leave home."

"Oh, I guess so. Back then, I was at a study group at Fa's house, like Fou, Lan and Din."

"Yes. I guess Gaz and Rats blood families started visiting Fa's house after more luggage cars. I think it's only a few months since my crush with the nobles has subsided."

The women of Gaz have raised their voices as such.

Everyone is looking back at nostalgic memories.

"After the Parents' Conference, Ai-Fa visited Gaz and Ratz's house to give us a bloodless guide, didn't he? At that time, Gaz and Ratz's men wished to be dowry to Ai-Fa, making a huge fuss."

"Oh, the relationship between Gaz and Ratz is about to be compromised, isn't it?"

"Yes, the parents of Rats gave us the pleasure, but we cooled the liver."

"And then you gave the dried meat to Fa's house and you got a lot of copper coins, right? We were all amazed at how much wealth we could gain by just giving dried meat."

That must be the episode when I gathered dried meat at the request of The Silver Kettle. Different things had actually happened since the end of the Parents' Meeting, even before Cycleus and the others had come to an end.

Eventually, even as we arrived at the Lou family and Yamil-Ray came aboard, the memorabilia continued. Yamil-Ray looked a lot uncomfortable, but he still exchanges pompous words with Tour-Din.

(You look at this member all the time, but it's like a reunion)

That's what I thought, but of course I didn't feel bad. After all, this period last year was a huge turning point for the people by the woods, so I guess it's something that makes everyone emotional.

That's how we arrived in Accommodation Town before heading to Kimmus's Tail Pavilion. Late and Levi were waiting for us there.

"Hey, Late. Did you reveal the night here last night?

"Yes, Camus is still asleep in his room."

Instead of Leyt, who answers quietly, Levi grins.

"Hey, Terrier-Mass asked me a lot about this guy. I barely got a chance to say hello at the Forestside Festival, so I finally got to say hello."

Both of these names were invited to the feast of rapprochement. but by then Levi was also the first person to meet Terrier-Mass, so I guess he didn't even get to hear about Leyt growing up in Kimmus's Tail Pavilion or anything like that. Even for me, I knew two people from separate paths, so it felt fresh to see them standing side by side like this.

"When those Kingsville guys pushed him, he said he was behind the inn. It's still so small, it's a big deal."

"... I just helped with the job. It was the Astas and the forest people who supported the inn."

"So you're the one who asked me to do that first, right? If I'd listened to you by then, I'd have helped you with your work."

Levi looked more unyielding, but Leyt was smiling behaving in an atmosphere that seemed a lot harder to do. Somehow, he doesn't even look like he's having trouble handling Levi.

"... because Levi is a man without a back table. You don't have to worry about anything."

As I snuck up to the warehouse behind me to rent the stall and ear it like that, Late gave me a glimpse back from under his long forehead.

"... that Levi and his father were given a room I once spent, right?"

"Oh, did you? We talked about it being used as a storeroom..."

"I've been out of the house for three years now, so no wonder how it's used. I just hope it's used correctly."

It is, after all, something, a tone that it contains.

I whispered even more, concerned about how Levi was walking in front.

"Maybe you care about Levi's father's predisposition? I don't think I'll ever impersonate Kimmus's Tail Pavilion."

"What do you think? It doesn't seem so uncommon, for example, to trample on people's kindness."

"If I imitated that, we wouldn't even shut up. If the people of the woods knew how deeply connected they were with Kimmus's Tail Pavilion, they wouldn't be so bad."

It was unwillingness to bring the power of the hunters by the woods to the demonstration, but it was also my true intention. If Levi's father was truly a small villain, he wondered if the presence of the people by the woods could be sufficiently dissuasive.

"... Asta is a long relationship with that Levi, isn't she?

And Late asked me that on the fence.

"Yeah. The first thing I said was right after I opened the stall. With Yumi, he bought me a Giva dish."

Of all the bad boys who visited the stall that day, only Yumi, Levi and Ben bought me food. Even though Ben and others are like those who were forced to buy in the words of sale, Levi spoken of Giva dishes of his own free will.

"Just then, Mida-Lou, who was still from the Sung family, was there. Levi advised me that if I didn't do something about these people, the people by the woods wouldn't be able to do well in the Inn Town. I know it's a little bad, but there's no question you're in a straight mood."

"... is that right," Late sighed.

"Then there's no curtain for me to come out. of Milan-Math and Terrier-Mass, I want to believe in the eyes that see people"

"Yeah. You asked Levi for a job in the first place because it was Terrier-Mass. You can trust me."

"... when people are driven by greed, their eyes can be cloudy,"

"Haha. Driven by greed is an amazing expression. But don't you two look good together?

I meant to be a joke, but Leyt turned a cold eye on me.

"That... Could it also be a complicated mood for Terrier-Mass to be able to think?

"I left home, but Terrier-Mass is like my sister. If a person with no identity approaches you, you'll be worried."

That statement surprised me more and more.

"Yeah, well. Even more so, I assure you that Levi is a solid person.... hey, I'm glad Late revealed his mood that way"

"... Asta is the one who seems to know Levi best, so there's no other way."

Late sighed, turning that way.

Though it's rude to say that there isn't, it still doesn't make any difference that Late has revealed his mood. It never seemed like such a rarity as far as I'm concerned, since I'm always Leyt, who hides his heart under a well-behaved smile.

(Well, Late is such an old cliche than Levi. I feel like I've been away from Genos for over half the year, but together we're friends through a predicament, and as much as I'd like to crack it down more)

Will Late and Camuer-Josh be staying in Genos for a while?

I just can't invite you to the feast tomorrow, but I hope I can use this as an opportunity to deepen my bond with the Lates again, and I'm going to bite that thought off.
