Kamado-no-Asta by the Forest - Act I - Sung Family Chapter

One year, it's about the Yellow Moon.

In the dark woods, the young man woke up.

'That... how could I be in a forest like this?

The young man's name is Asta.

He was a cook's child, living peacefully on an island far from the continent Ameshorn.

There is no such deep forest around the house where Asta lives. Asta had no idea why she was in a place like this.

"Shit. I don't know what to do."

That's how Asta was worried, she heard the breath of the beast from across the bush.

It is the territory of Genos, a peripheral city of Selva, the kingdom of the west. It was the Morga Forest, home to a terrible beast called Gibba.

"Wow, help me -!

Asta was desperate, and she ran away.

But the bushes are deep in the woods, and it's hard to run as you think.

Gibba is going to chase him with tremendous momentum and still stick his fangs up Asta's back.

No more - and when Asta almost gave up, the bottom of the ground suddenly fell out.

"Wow! What the hell! '

Asta fell into the pit.

A lot. Get out of the way.

'Stay open... damn it - who set me up with a pit in this place!

Then I heard a young daughter from the top of the hole.

'What are you fussing about in a place like that?

'Ah! I don't know who it is, but I need your help! Some horrible beast chased me, and I fell into a pit!

'This is the trap I set to capture Gibba. How dare you ruin my trap?'

Complaining, my daughter drowned the grass all the way to Asta.

Using that, when Asta went up to the ground - what I waited for there was a very beautiful hunter for a woman, with golden hair and blue eyes.

"I am Ai-Fa, the head of the house of Fa, a people by the woods. Who are you?

'My name is Asta. Thanks a lot for your help.'

'More than that, what were you wandering around in a place like this for? The law of Genos forbids anyone in town to step into the woods of Morga. "

"Morga? Genos? Neither, I don't know. I have no idea why I'm in a place like this."

Asta explained the situation, but the female hunter Ai-Fa just twists her neck.

"I don't know what that means. Anyway, we're going back home. If you celebrate the night in the woods without any preparation, you will return your soul. '

That's how they left the woods and went for a settlement by the woods.

Inside the quiet square, only Rico's voice echoes.

When the puppets of Gibba and Ai-Fa appeared, they cheered as if they could not be revealed, but that too is soon driven to the other side of the silence. There were nearly a hundred people on the spot, so a little noise was likely to cancel Rico's voice.

Still, after all, Rico's voice was clear and felt like a very good street.

If only we had been quiet, our voices would have reached every corner of the square. I didn't really care because it was a pleasant voice in my ear, but even the volume of voice was supposed to be quite something.

Either way, the play is going on.

If you return to the woodland settlement, Diga is finally here.

Fulfilling - in front of me and I-Fa, a hunter by the woods with black brown hair and blue eyes was to stand.

Has Diga also gotten comfortable getting her stomach grabbed?

The puppet Diga, just like then, was wearing a obsession. Explain to me how corrupt the Sung family of the chieftaincy is that Ai-Fa has persevered in getting rid of it. While moderately omitted, this would also convey to the first-sighted spectator that the Sung family is a villain.

Except - Rico didn't reveal the name "Diga-Sun".

The puppet appeared as "Sung's eldest brother".

Was that Rico's consideration? I swallowed my spit and was to be seen in the continuation of the play.

That's how you two went home to Fa's.

"I can't leave you alone, knowing neither the laws of Genos nor the codes of the woods. You stay in Fa's house for a while and learn the logic of the world."

'From what, thank you. I appreciate it, Ai-Fa.'

'Hmm. But before we do, first, we'll have a tummy. Eat my tailored giva meat. "

'Yeah, thanks.... Wow, not good!

Asta didn't think, she jumped up.

'Oh, I'm sorry to say that I didn't eat well because of you. But what is this dish?

'This is a stew of Giva meat, aria and poitan. If we eat this, humans can live healthy'

'Really? But the meat stinks, the broth is all over the place, the vegetables are boiled raw... I wonder if this ingredient would make it even better?

'For a meal, there is no delicious or unsavory. We're eating to keep our lives alive.'

"Then tomorrow, why don't you let me cook you a meal? He's still the cook's son. I'll make you a delicious dish to apologize for taking care of you."

"On your own."

So the first night, I quietly changed it further.

Asta, who couldn't even find a way back to her hometown and was separated from her precious family, was so anxious to reveal the night - but still managed not to despair by meeting friendly hunter Ai-Fa.

"I'd like to somehow reward Ey-Fa for his kindness. Good luck tomorrow so you can cook delicious food!

Thinking that way, Asta fell asleep.

As Rico had said beforehand, the place had been altered from fact in this play.

Even at the beginning, the scene was omitted where I could poke a knife from Ai-Fa, and it was the day after the day I met him that I volunteered for Kamado's job. This was something I told Rico myself, so it was also obvious that it had been intentionally altered.

But, well, that doesn't create any major inconvenience. I felt like I understood a lot of Rico's words about not being the truth as it was, but not wanting to make it into a play that twisted the truth.

The only thing that bothered me was the question of the ruler.

I didn't think I'd take the time to get here just because I met Ai-Fa.

Although, of course, only a few minutes had passed at this stage, Rico had declared that he would speak up to the Conference of Chiefs in Act I. I wonder if we can get that far at this pace, and that's all I care about.

But other than that, I think it would be brilliant.

It's hard to verify one thing about myself, but it seems like a pretty good performance, at least with regard to the puppets of I-Fa.

The blurry parts of Ey-Fa and the parts that still make you feel the depth of your emotions feel perfectly performable. Is this the potency with which Rico himself spent quite a bit of time with Ai-Fa? I didn't love the puppet of Ai-Fa, who lived and moved on stage.

That's how the play goes.

At dawn of the night, the current state of the woodland and Genos was well spoken of as we went to pick up firewood at the edge of the woods.

The snake of Madarama strikes me on the river of Rant is completely omitted. This was the result of my sneak request, and Rico himself saw it as a shaft of story to make Morga's Three Beasts appear.

And it's a scene where I sift cooking to Ai-Fa.

Even here, alterations have been made. From the very beginning, I was portrayed as having devised a new method of cooking Poitan. Well, I couldn't figure out how to handle Poitan, so I guess the episode is Snakefoot, where I banged him in the excess broth for a while and forced him to drink, etc.

Either way, the puppet Ai-Fa was to know the value of a delicious dish there.

Um, the first time I've ever seen Ey-Fa's soft smile comes back to my back of my brain, and I get a little stuck in my chest. Sneaking up on the sidelines, Ai-Fa was turning his head around on the top of the Buddha.

Here the story accelerates.

The scene of deepening ties with the Lou family was an almost digest-like development.

Limi-Lew doesn't even appear, just because "they wanted a delicious dish to cheer up the oldest" explains it. The explanation was also given that "the parent, Donda-Lou, was a man of great importance by the woods, so he thought abominably of the exotic Asta who lived in the house of Fa," but it was also quickly resolved in one sentence: "I was able to make a dish to satisfy Donda-Lou".

So - only two puppets appeared: Donda-Lou and Dan-Lutim.

The narration explained that I had been entrusted with Rutim's wedding, and Dan-Rutim's puppet was revealed in the fold.

Dan-Rutim's puppet was stuffed with plenty of stomach to recreate his rounded figure by the way, what a humorous look.

Besides, all the puppets owned by Rico had their skin painted yellow and white, so all the puppets of the people by the woods have brown cloths on their faces and hands and feet. I guess the majority of the characters are people by the woods, so this would have been such a hassle.

By the way, my puppet had been changed to a woodland outfit along the way. The whirlpool patterned vest is woven to replace the white trousers with a waist roll, and the fangs and bone neckline are hung. That seems to have been done quickly by Belton while Rico manipulated Donda-Lou's puppet while narrating an episode of the Lou family.

Whatever, now the puppet is five, except for a specially tailored giva: me, Ai-Fa, Sung's eldest brother, Donda-Lu, and Dan-Rutim.

Rico stated in one play that he wanted to fit as many as ten puppets to appear. Also, including spare minutes, only thirteen puppets for humans are in their possession. It felt a little unexpected that some of those limited characters included Dan-Rutim and not Gazran-Rutim.

In the meantime, a sixth puppet appears.

It was Camua-Josh who gave him that honor.

That's how Asta deepened her bond a little bit with the folks by the woods - one day she was going to meet some strange people in the Inn Town of Genos.

"Asta is an accomodation town, why don't you do the stall business?

The person's name is Camua-Josh. This is the Guardian, who is bravely named even in the western kingdom.

Asta was so distressed by Camua-Josh's sudden offer.

"I suppose the people by the woods have been forbidden to harvest the grace of the woods or to make fields? Even if you hunt Giva so hard, you can only sell fangs, horns and furs to get a few copper coins. It's wrong for some people to starve to death. The people by the woods should deserve to live happier!

Camua-Josh said so.

So Asta should do the stall business and let the world know how delicious Giva's meat tastes.

"If that's how Gibba's meat can be sold in the same way as Kimmus and Karon, the people by the woods will get a rich life, too, right? To do that, first you should do the giva business, Asta. '

The Astas don't know what kind of person Camua-Josh is. But that word was going to shake my heart.

That's how Asta, with the help of the Lew family, decided to start trading stalls.

"In Inn Town, if you sell 50 servings of food, you're talking about being superior. Even Gibba's dishes that people in town don't like will sell for about ten servings'

Giva's meat is hard and stinky. If I eat it, I will have shallow black skin, like the people by the woods, let alone horns. That's what the weather was all about.

Besides, the people by the woods were as feared as Gibba.

The people by the woods were so fearful because, on top of their tremendous power, they did not try to deepen ties with the people of the town.

There was also a rumor that people by the woods were dyeing their hands at looting and in public. No matter how much evil you work, the nobility of Genos will not try to bring it to justice. If the people of the forest stopped hunting Gibba, nobility could not speak either - because the fields of Genos would be so badly vandalized - it was a reputation.

Yet the human beings of the Sung family of the chieftaincy muscle were also making noise in the boarding town. But whatever noise the Sung people make, noble uses emerge from the castle town and they decide that there was no noise. So the people of the city were to abandon the relationship between the people of the woods and the nobles of Genos.

There's no way a forest folk like that can sell Gibba's food in Inn Town, but it's going to work. Asta thought of it that way and was to prepare only ten servings of food - which, in less than a quarter of an hour, would be sold out. People in the east who became familiar with their faces in the Inn Town and don't care about the weather bought them Giva dishes.

'All right! Now, let's prepare a dish for twenty!

But that's going to sell out soon, too.

Now even the people of the south bought you Giva dishes.

'All right! Now, forty servings! This time you'll be fine!

But I couldn't. The people of the south and east, who heard of their reputation, gathered together to make a scene about Giva cuisine.

Starting the next day, Asta will be selling dishes for 70 servings. So finally, we can settle down and do business.

But that day never ended peacefully either.

Oh, my God, a human being from the Sung family, a chieftaincy muscle, showed up in the boarding town.

"The son of the Sung family wants to cook. Will you ever sell that to me?

It was an ominous airborne man.

Back in the year, about fifty. Even though he seems to be a very fine hunter, his expression doesn't move like that of the people of the east, and he has eyes like a dead man. Being polite at the waist was an extra highlight of creepiness.

"Oh, thank you for your purchase. With five purchases, your price will be one white copper coin"

"Yes. Now, take this."

The Sung family men paid Asta a copper coin as determined.

Again, the physical hips are polite and there is no appearance of abusive imitation. Asta was going to stroke her chest down with relief - but eventually she was going to have a shallow, irrelevant connection with that person.

The man's name is Tay-Sung.

Asta didn't even know what fate Tay-Sung would bring to herself then.

The seventh puppet was Tay-Sung.

Moreover, even though Dodd or Mida-Lou have not even made an appearance, Tay-Sung is clearly spoken to the name. The narration of the character introduction is also disturbing.

I tell Rico everything I think about Tay-Sung. We should also be carefully gathering information from other people about Tay-Sung.

How does Rico portray Tay-Sung?

For me, that was an important case to contend with.

That's how the story goes on and on.

From here to the Conference of Parents, it was a one-off.

I'm ordered to cook delicious dishes at the Parents' Council. It was the "eldest sister of the Sung main house" who ordered it. She was introduced to "a daughter with cold eyes like a viper".

On the day of the parenting conference, I have my suspicions in the middle of my work. Because the women of Sung's house turned the iron pan upside down and ruined the dish about to be made, and were told, "No aria, no poitan, no extra." At the end of the scene uncovering the Sung family's great sins, I guess this will be the Volatile Line. The appearance of Tour-Din, who was burned in doing so, and Lara-Luu, who embraces it, is still omitted.

At the Conference of Parents, the puppets of Ai-Fa were sifting hot valves.

Delicious food brings great power and joy to the people by the woods. And commerce in accommodation towns creates great wealth and saves the people by the woods from the suffering of hunger.

Also, if I had made the right bond with the people in town from the beginning, I could have known about the blood drain technique from an early stage and lived a richer life. Rico's puppet, Ey-Fa, played by Rico, spoke of such things with enthusiasm.

It is also the actual story itself that the parents of the northern settlements disagree with Ai-Fa and that Donda-Lou will respond to it. Listening to stories from a number of parents around, Rico felt able to reconstruct those interactions with brilliant hands.

That's how the story gets closer to the climax.

It's a scene where me and I-Fa get attacked.

On the spot, too, Dodd did not appear. Sung's eldest brother and Tae-Sung put the parents to sleep with Sim's poisonous grass to expose me and Ai-Fa. Even if Rico and Belton each manipulate one with one hand, only up to four puppets can appear at the same time. With those circumstances, Dodd's presence may have been omitted.

Tae-Sung attacked me for turning down my son-in-law from Sung's eldest sister. It was Dan-Rutim who saved it. The appearance of Rud-Luu and Sin-Luu has been omitted and only Dan-Rutim has been decided to save me. To that end, I finally came to think that Dan-Rutim's puppet was ready.

That's how Sung's eldest brother is nagging on the floor when he goes out to help Ai-Fa. It is true that Ey-Fa, with his hands and feet tied, repelled it on his own, but there was one alteration being made.

Wasn't it Tay-Sung who made me drink the fruit liquor I was aware of - the question I had in mind was being put to my mouth in my interactions with Dan-Rutim.

The play goes on solemnly in front of spiteful people.

Take the lead in the angry Donda-Lou, pushing it all the way to Zuro-Sung and finally uncovering the great sin that ravaged the grace of the forest. The humans in the Sung main house are captured as sinners, and the end of the woodland is discussed by the parents - that was the climax of the first act.

'Um, shouldn't we talk about the future more than that now?

"What does the future mean?

"In the future, another clan will become the chieftaincy on behalf of the Sung family, right? If those people can't bond correctly with the nobles of Genos, it could be a repeat of the same thing '.

'Don't be an idiot! Whoever becomes a chief is corrupt like the Sung family!

'Is it? Even the Sung family was originally a proud family, wasn't it? Wasn't that corrupted in this way because you got involved in the wrong way with the nobles of Genos?

Why would Asta think that?

"I was in boarding town, and I heard all kinds of rumors. I heard that the people of the Sung family are not punished for their wickedness in the city, or... the people of the woods are secretly attacking the countryside and the travellers, and working the plunder... and that the lords of Genos are corrupting the Sung family. Someone I know in town called Camuer-Josh is apparently also kind to the lord of Genos. '

The parents are surprised, looking at each other.

In the meantime, Asta overlapped words even more.

'Over the course of eighty years, the Sung family must have become a little more corrupt. That must be because they have played a relative role with the nobles of Genos as representatives of the people by the woods. In the future, I think we should start by discussing who is responsible for his role as chief, what ties he has with the nobility of Genos, and how the compensation will be handled.'

Asta's words were a great surprise and impression on the parents by the woods.

At the end of the day, three human beings were to be elected chiefs.

It was a rash: Donda-Lou, head of the Lou, Graf-Zaza, head of the northern settlement, and Dari-Sauti, head of the southern settlement.

"The role that the Sung family could not carry would also be difficult to carry if they were three families. We do not corrupt like the Sung family, we hereby pledge to lead our compatriots by the woods on the right path. '

That's how a long, long night dawned.

When you finish the meeting and go outside, the world is already wrapped up in the morning sun.

'No, that was a hell of a night. But I'm glad it fits round. "

"Hmm. The key thing is, it's going to be.... Well, if it's the new Chiefs, let's get us on the right track '

'Yeah, I'm sure you'll be fine!

Asta, knowing the kind of rare power and sober heart of the people by the woods, could wholeheartedly think so.

But it only took a little more time for that commotion to come to a real end.

'... Well, then, I guess next time, it's my turn'

The mysterious "Guardian" Kamua-Josh is waiting for his turn - but what fate he brings to Asta and the people by the woods, that goes hand in hand with another story.
