Fa's House Supper ③ - Enthusiasm

Approximately fifteen minutes were to be spent by Alvach releasing all his thoughts.

That's all I needed to talk about the tempura accompanying "Stewed Udon" and the three dishes "Stewed Giva Meat and Dru's Tau Oil".

My prepared dishes were roughly what I liked.

Among them, two points were made that were bitterly complained about. It concerns the type of oil used for tempura and the ingredients of "Stewed Giva Meat and Dru's Tau Oil".

Below, to quote Alvach...

"This deep-fried dish called Tempura also feels very complete. But I know that there are great oils around Genos and the woods. If you use Hoboi oil or Giva fat, can you point to further completeness?

"This stewed dish, whatever the simpler side, still feels like it's maintaining a high degree of completeness. This one seems simplistic because it probably doesn't use vanilla… it's also a measure of harmony with the 'simmered udon' eaten together. I cannot deny my desire for vanilla because I am a people of the east, but it is also hard to imagine that it is not harmonious with 'boiled udon' in meat dishes dominated by vanilla. Moreover, they both have very different flavors, mainly tau oil, which gives them a very harmonious, yet completely boring finish. Therefore, I would avoid the foolishness of viewing it as a drawback... but I cannot forbid dissatisfaction in that only the ingredients of the vegetables are Dru. Could the addition of further ingredients make the taste of Dru more prominent?

Depends, for example.

After all, Alvach doesn't admire my cooking unconditionally either. For me, it was rather a delightful discovery.

"To fry, is it hoboi oil or giva fat... that's for sure, maybe it makes sense"

I made him answer that way.

What I use in fried food is a lettuce oil that tastes like olive oil. Compared to Hoboi's oil and Giva's lard when it comes to sesame oil, whether or not it is the oil that is deserving of frying - that was where a thought was needed.

"Hoboi oil and giva fat are more flavorful than Leten oil. If it works in a good breeze… I'm sure it will make even more delicious tempura"

"Uhm. Asta, so far, I haven't worked on it, it's strange"

"Hoboi's oil didn't come to the idea of using it in fried foods because it was a fairly pricey ingredient. As for giva fat, I think it will be harmonious with meat ingredients, as evidenced by" giva cutlets "… I think that letens and hobois would be better suited to vegetable ingredients"

But it's also quite a luxury story to prepare two kinds of oil for frying. Besides, no matter how much wealth you have, it is a forestside lesson to say, "Don't waste ingredients." I guess I didn't have as many thought-provoking challenges as the rest of the dishes when it comes to the oil of fried foods that I have limitations on using around. It was as comfortable as being sharply poked at such a gap by Alvach.

"There wasn't enough time for research on the ingredients for the simmering dishes. You did everything you could to determine Drew's heat, and you couldn't even get it to go with the other ingredients."

"Uhm. Further drilling, hopefully"

When Alvach responded that way, Nanaquem raised a voice of condemnation.

"Alvach. Asta, your Highness, and your servant are none. Isn't that rude?

"Oh, no, I sincerely appreciate you pointing that out to Alvach. Thank you for your concern, Nanaquem, but don't worry."

I told him that from the bottom of my heart. Getting opinions from people with tongues as sharp as Alvach must be irreplaceable food for cooks.

"Still, that's what you ate a lot of time. I'm so hungry."

When Georg-Zaza said bitterly, Pratica lifted her hips "then".

"Next is my dish. I'll warm it up again, so I'll have a little, time, time."

The dishes prepared by Pratica are kept in the Kamadu cabin. To help with that catering, Yun-Sudra and Tour-Din were also to take their seats.

"Zilbe, just in case, accompany you."

To Ai-Fa's order, Zilbe gave a happy voice, "Wahoo," and went after the Yun-Sudras.

It is often a breaking time, and silence falls in the hall.

It was Nanaqem who broke it.

"People of the sanctuary, upside down, listening. Reconciliation, fairness, joy."

Ai-Fa turned his solemn face toward Nanaqem, and saluted him.

"Word of awareness, I'm here.... you've met the people of the sanctuary in your hometown."

"Uhm. Technically, it is a sanctuary, a people who have abandoned it. The man, the people of the kingdom, to turn, has become, or is a mystery."

"... and I was to face the people of the sanctuary in the mountains of Morga. Whatever man wishes to be a people of the outside world while he is born into the sanctuary... come on, don't make it seem hard to believe."

"Great God, I fell asleep, more than 600 years, past. Ambition, losing sight, showing up, wondering, maybe not."

That said, Nanaquem breathed small.

"Sanctuary, how it is, Lord Gemd, I am listening." Return of Daytime, "nevertheless. I, not least, envy, hold."

"Mm-hmm. In that fold, I took care of Gemd a lot"

When Ai-Fa pointed the water that way, Gemd replied with the beauty of Baritone.

"I have only behaved as my master, Lady Fermes, commanded me. Please, Master Ai-Fa, don't worry."

"Uhm.... but a fine man like you won't have to honor me or anything"

"So may I call you Ai-Fa?

Gemd's quiet eyes looked straight back at Ai-Fa.

Ai-Fa looks a lot like he's been poked into the void, showing a slightly pulling trick.

"... um. Whatever you want."

"I understand. Thank you, Ai-Fa"

Something was wrong with the air.

Speaking of which - at a feast in Castle Town, Gemd was offering Ey-Fa a dance. It was avoided by the woodland scriptures, but even then, Ai-Fa looked a little awkward.

(I don't suppose Jemd is seriously in love with Ai-Fa either... because he's a totally unreadable person inside)

Weird air's contagious, making me uncomfortable until I do.

In order to break this air, I'll set a target for Mel Fried. He had barely opened his mouth on this occasion yet.

"Um, it has been decided that there will also be a dinner party at Count Turan's, but will Melfrid be present after all?

"Uhm. From Count Turan's house, my family was to be invited"

"Oh, you also have Eurifia and Odifia. I'm looking forward to that."

Then Melfried looked at me with a glance at the moonlight.

"I was going to check within today, but will Tool-Din go on as the cook's number that day as well?

"Ah, yes. As for confectionery, I'm not strong enough either, so I'm going to rely on Tour-Din again."

"Well," Melfried breathed. Perhaps it is a breath of relief. The silver moon was a bummer, so there was no tea party.

"And after that, we're holding off on our harvest festival. Don't you see that young princess over there?

When George-Zaza laughed cheerfully, Melfried turned his gaze back to you.

"As with the Lilyn wedding, I enter as a beholder. It would be a public and private confusion to accompany the family there"

"Oh, so you're going to the harvest festival of the Six Families, including Fa's house."

"Uhm.... although I remember it was George-Zaza who made such a suggestion"

"Right. So, this time, you're saying you need my mouthfeel?

Melfried hissed a shapely eyebrow into his beard. It is unusual for him to move his expression so far as the people of the east.

"What kind of talk is mouthwatering? I wasn't even willing to accompany my family to your harvest festival..."

"The harvest festival in the northern settlements always leaves the feast dish divider to Tour-Din. If you were that young princess, you'd be delighted."

With that said, Georg-Zaza turned his gaze towards the Arvach and the others.

"You wanted to bond correctly with the people by the woods, but you wished to see the harvest festival in the northern settlements.... That's what you guys said in front of my dad."

"Mm-hmm. Chief-Graph-Zaza, what I got accepted, difficult, I think"

During the past five days, the Arvahs had won the right to visit the northern settlements and see the harvest festival. Georg-Zaza laughed satisfactorily and nodded loudly.

"So is there also any problem with the addition of the Marquis Genos people there? We should bond more correctly with the monarch Marquis Genos."

"But… I will accompany you as a beholder. I thought you said it would be inappropriate for you to accompany my family during the Lilyn wedding?

"At that time, the Arvahs wanted to see Schmiral-Lilyn, the people of the east, wed with the people of the woods. Not a single reason to accompany your family there. … but if we move on because we want to deepen the bond, I wonder if things will be different every time"

Georg-Zaza said so, laughing with increasing pleasure.

"In the first place, it wasn't just Tour-Din who bonded with Odifia and Eurifia. You've already looked at me more than once. In the northern settlements, there's no one or two interested in Odifia or Eurifia, is there?

"... Is that right?

"Naturally. Every time I attended a feast in Castle Town, I was responsible for explaining in detail what it was like. Besides, Tour-Din is also turned to tremendous trust and affection in the northern settlements. Everyone will be interested to know what kind of person is Odifia who can buy confectionery from Tour-Din like that"

Melfried clutched his mouth as he glanced at the depth of his thoughts.

Georg-Zaza shrugs his thick shoulders as he cheeks on a raised single knee.

"Well, you're the one who decides how to take it back. It will still be about half a month before the harvest festival, so think about it in the meantime."

And, just after a paragraph of the story, the Praticas are finally back.

The gaze of the car seat gathers in nature and Tour-Din. Tool-din, holding a layered wooden dish, was to make his eyes squeeze.

"Oh, um... have I done something, even untimely...?

"That can't be right. You don't have to worry about what you don't remember."

Georg-Zaza just laughed casually and didn't try to talk a lot.

In the meantime, an iron pan, carried by Pratica and Yun-Sudra on both sides, will be installed in the indoor body.

"Thank you for waiting. I'll cook and distribute."

Pratica thanked him with a temperamental face and split the dish into wooden dishes. It is handed out to everyone, by the hands of Yun-Sudra and Tour-Din.

We were already watching the cooking process.

This is a juicy dish dominated by mahydra sautéed drew.

Mince the drew when turnips are red purple and carefully simmer in smoked fish stock. After a while, Dru will melt and collapse, so put ingredients, vanilla and seasonings in there and simmer even further.

The ingredients were Malor, Scalloped Potato Doki, Yural Pa, Farna and Pere - in addition, western vegetables such as Aria and Nennon and Ma Pra were also used.

Seasonings include salt, sugar and fish soy. Vanilla is three varieties of sage, mintz, chit fruit, and mustard-like salfal.

The cooking point was when the ingredients were thrown. Mallory, scallops and sea lions and Aria and Nennon are carefully fed to the point that they do not remain in shape, and other ingredients are thrown later to preserve the texture.

And then what surprised me was the use of Sarfal.

Salfal has a similar flavor to mustard, but when it gets hot, it gets spicy. Platica was putting in such a salfal from quite an early stage. It is a great mystery to me what role a spicy disappeared salfal plays in a dish that uses so many seasonings.

Either way, this was the dish Pratica worked on to the best of his ability.

I would expect Kamadoku's turn to be more than the Guests'. It also manifested itself in the brilliance of Yun-Sudra and Tour-Din's eyes, as it were.

"I, the immature, but I did everything in my power. Fortunately, if you like."

Along with such Pratica's greeting, we took up the wooden spoon.

The fragrance of Mintz at the time of the sage further accentuates the slightly earthy Dru flavor. Besides, by the carefully simmered mallows and scallops, I could smell the culinary aroma of seafood.

(Exactly, it feels like a mountain blessing to the sea)

First, except for the ingredients, carry only the red-purple soup into your mouth.

Different flavors spread all over my mouth at once.

Seafood is strongly nourished by carefully simmered scalloped potato stock. Besides, the benefits of fish soy would be obvious. The mellow sweetness and aroma were on the front, where the chit fruit added spiciness as an accent.

(Not that it's complicated... kind of a strange taste)

Even though it's not that painful, the impression is it's tremendously ethnic. After all, is this because of the exotic cooking?

When I grab the ingredients, the thought intensifies. I felt a lot unfamiliar with Yural Pa when I was an onion, Fana when I was a pine nut, Pere when I was a cucumber, and Ma Pra when I was a paprika, even though they were all ingredients I knew.

"This is great work. Does Pratica specialize in cooking seafood?

And it was unexpectedly Fermes who raised his voice first.

Platica answers yes, keeping her spine slightly down.

"Gerd, Dura ingredients, abundant. Dry seafood, opportunity to handle it, blessed."

"I see. To be honest, it must be about Asta and Varcus who can handle seafood ingredients so skillfully in Genos"

After saying it that way, Fermes grinned and smiled at Melfrid.

"Of course the Chef Dia of Castel Genos has created some great seafood dishes these days...... it shouldn't have reached so far for a combined treatment, should it?

"Mm-hmm. I hear Dia was less interested in something called seafood ingredients until Lord Fermes came to Genos."

"Yes, but I think that Mallory's dishes and such are great things to do from the heart"

Ever since I saw the interaction between the two, Alvach has looked to me.

"Asta, I want to ask you what you think. What about this dish?

"Yes. I think it's very tasty. And it tastes strange."

"What is wonder? I'd like to explain a little now."

"Huh? That's right... the combination of seafood ingredients, which is the pleasure of the sea, and Dru and vegetables, which are the pleasure of the mountains, was felt very fresh... hmm, that's a little hard to explain"

"Explain, difficult. I mean, equilibrium, isn't it disintegrating?

With that said, Alvach looked around at the other forestside people.

"Other than Asta, what would it be? Abominable opinion, I wish."

"... I want to hold my mouth because I don't know what's good or bad about cooking that doesn't use Giva"

"Right. Me, too," George-Zaza said too, riding on the words of Ai-Fa.

"I just... I don't think it tastes bad, but I don't think it tastes good either. And in Castle Town, there was no meat from Gibba, no food that seemed delicious. That's all I can tell you."

"Thank you.... Culinary ladies, what do you think?

"Yes, I'm having a bit of trouble explaining it, too. I'm not decorating words… I don't know who I'm feeling."

It was Yun-Sudra who spoke that way.

Thur-din thinks with a troubled face, so Sphyla-Zaza speaks in the meantime.

"I am not as trained as the other ladies on this occasion. Nor is it possible to judge seafood ingredients as delicious because they have not been eaten at all"

"I see.... Tour-din, what do you think?

"Ha, yes...... I thought when I heard Asta's words...... somehow I got the impression that the taste of Dru and the taste of seafood were bumping into each other......"

"I see," Alvach repeated, looking back at Nicolas at the end.

"So what about Castle Town's cooking number, Nicolas?

"Yes. I think this is a very, very hobby dish. Wouldn't it be highly regarded in the castle town of Genos?"

"So is it delicious?

Nicola clogged the words.

but eventually speak as you have decided to.

"If it was me before, I think I found it a delicious dish. But now... I feel like there's a lot of waste of detail compared to Asta's and Jan's dishes."

Alvach nodded loudly and looked more at Platica.

but before opening his mouth, he looks back at the fleshy Fermes.

"During the meal, I'm sorry. Somewhat, interpreter, would you wish?

"Yeah, whatever."

"Thank you," then Alvach began to say something in the eastern language.

It's a whisper compared to my critique of cooking, but it's still a long tongue there.

Listening to that word, Pratica is immovable as a statue. I'm getting more worried about what the hell words are being spoken.

"Now, I will interpret. … This dish is actually made from a variety of ingredients. Its challenging attitude is nothing more than the beauty of Platica, but it is still undeniable that it is still immature. Among other things, immature is the combination of ingredients. As Asta and Tour-Din pointed out, this would be a dish that hoped not to reconcile sea and mountain ingredients, but that harmony has been disrupted to the point of lethality. What the hell is the significance of dominating Dru in this dish? It is the flavor of Dru's earth that inhibits the taste of seafood. It can be inferred that one of those things is giving Asta and the others an inexplicable comfort."

Pratica was not the wind that moved, and he overruled "yes".

Fermes goes on to lay down more words.

"I just think I've gotten used to it a lot when it comes to the treatment of Sarfal. It will be Salfal's favor to keep this dish in equilibrium, even just on the top, while it has a deadly debacle. But to fully reconcile the ingredients of Dru and seafood has not yet been reached. There seems to be so much confusion due to the use of as many as six kinds of materials there. What kind of craftsmanship is needed to reconcile Dru with seafood? I want you to focus on it and encourage me to train like that."

Pratica once again responded "Yes," while giving a bowl of grace toward Arvach.

Alvach nods back to Eagle Deep and then he looks back at me.

"Pratica, dear S., is immature. Under Asta, I want to drill, wish."

"Ha, yes...... but me and Pratica seem to cook a lot differently. Perhaps the Castle Town cooks would be more helpful?

"No. Pratica, I think it's an example, Asta, Vulcus, only. … whether or not it is Pratica who decides"

Pratica lowered her head deeply as she turned to me with her front seat.

"Me, by the woods, learning, wanting. Castle town cook, skilled, brilliant, extremely exciting, I think… somewhere, me, similar, I think."

"Oh, keep your head up, Pratica.... but isn't similarity more helpful?

"No. Bad part, it's similar. It is… * * * *"

Pratica's words were mixed with those of the east.

In a relaxed voice, Fermes explains, "Should it be translated as a decoration?"

"Yes. It's essence, not together, it's decoration. Castle town cook, me, same maze, stepping in, I think. It has a new flavour, I think, to aim for, at the foot, it's graceful. … the only chef in the Count Dalaim family, different, I thought"

"I see. Because you're intimate with Asta, it may have taken you off the maze."

Fermes seemed to have fun and giggled as he creaked.

"What Platica says, I don't even know. Pratica's cuisine seems to me to have a similar part to that made by the cooks in the castle town of Genos. You feel like you're trying to force yourself to use another ingredient… you feel like you're working on everything in addition."

Speaking of which, Fermes, who came out of the Wang capital, and Dreg, who was once an auditor, had a reputation for the bizarre cuisine of the castle town of Genos.

"If you have similar ideas, it will be easy to deepen your understanding and empathy. But Lord Alvach and Pratica don't seem to want it."

"Yes. I, I want to move on. Myself, wrong, I don't think. However, because it is immature, it does not reach the ideal."

That's how Pratica drooped her head at me again.

"Asta, how you cook, it's completely different. But harmony, brilliant. I, the moves, I want to get to know. So..."

"So please raise your head. We've already talked about the cooking tour, haven't we? Unless the chiefs and the parents disagree, I will spare you my cooperation."

That's what I told Platica to laugh at.

"Besides, if this dish isn't finished yet, I'd like to try the finished one, too. Good luck until the day comes when you leave Genos."

"Yes," Pratica said, turning away and plunging her eyes in the back of her hand. Nanaqem sighs small at that figure.

"Gel, the lord's mansion, every night, is such a commotion, I hear. Pratica, heart, unbreakable, wonderful"

"Are you blaming Platica like that every night?

When Ai-Fa inquired sharply, Alvach nodded heavily "um".

"However, I am blaming you, it is inaccurate. I, Pratica, leap forward, hope from the heart. For that reason, it is commentary, overlapping."

"Yes, Master Alvach, it's a satisfying dish, to make, me, a grief"

That's what Platica said, still moisturizing her eyes.

Ai-Fa is sighing with Nanaqem. It was true that Alvach and Pratica looked like they were building a much more incredible subordination.

"Then we've finished the platika dishes, too, so let's end with some sweets. This, of course, will be a treat made in the Tool-Din compartment"

"Yes, no. It was only Asta who handled me..."

That's how Tour-Din brought it from the corner of the hall was a 'buquera cake' not a yomogi cake. Needless to say, it is a new treat, refined with a buquera resembling yomogi into the dough of Chaska. Inside it was stuffed with braised fruit crumbs and hung from the top with tau bean mushrooms filled with sugar.

"Is it bitter, strong, buquera leaves, confectionery, used"

Alvach grabbed 'Buquera Cake' with a sharp eye.

Within chewing it, its eyes get sharper and sharper.

"It is buquera, flavorful and rich. But suffering, suppressed. This way, what kind of craftsmanship?

"Yes. Bukela is bitter when used as it is, so once it's boiled, we use something that squeezes water."

My mother used to boil picked yomogi in the garden and then use them for yomogi cakes, so that's all I got. In terms of Japanese sweets, my mother was the role model for me.

"… delicious. Buquera, flavor, slight bitterness - chaska dough, braised fruit, powdered tau beans, complete, harmonious"

"Yes, here, only ingredients, buqueras, chaskas, braised fruit, sugar and salt. Fantasy, none of it. So, simple, no. Tour-din, sweet-making skill, brilliant."

Pratica also embarked on herself, sayin 'fervently.

And after that, it is a reward for the opinion in the eastern language. Tour-Din had a lot of anxiety about what kind of words were exchanged about the confectionery he had created.

"... you are more strongly impressed with Thur-din's confectionery than with Asta's cooking?

Pratica answered something in the eastern language when Ai-Fa clasped his mouth a lot along the way. Then, as I have regained my mind, I reword it in the western language.

"No. My cooking, until I served it, I was nervous, strong, so I didn't say anything, I didn't answer. Also, the West word, Asta's cooking, arguing, it's hard."

"So why don't we put it together later and I'll translate it?

After saying it that way, Fermes chuckled.

"However, it's a hassle to tell you two how you interact, and it's harder to convey your sincerity. Thank you again for sharing your opinions on Asta's cooking and Tour-Din's confectionery."

"Uhm. Lord Fermes, thank you for your generosity"

That's how Alvach and Pratica started the debate again.

They are both faceless, but have sharper eyes as if they were even exchanged with swords. And even if I tried not to solve the eastern words, it was easy to see that they were both speaking quickly.

Ai-Fa, who has been silently observing the appearance of both such names for some time, looks back at Nanaqem all the time.

"... are these interactions also exchanged like every night in Gel's mansion?

"Mm-hmm. I, every now and then, witness"

"Well," Ai-Fa tightened her mouth. Even the eastern people probably see a smile spill.

But the mood I could understand, too. Alvach was not unilaterally pushing his preferences onto Pratica, but was hoping for a further leap forward for Pratica by letting him fight his opinions in this way.

(Alvach should still be 21 or there... kind of, you look like a parent or a child)

Without even knowing you're giving me that sentiment, they're both bumping into words without getting tired of it.

And the second night that brought the Arvahs was a solemn passing, with an unexpected enthusiasm at the end.
