"Ahhh, this evil spirit is also sickening and cancerous..."

"Hih, hi-no...!

A man dressed in a black-clad suit wears zero stupidity in a back alley in Tokyo where the sun tilts and it's about midnight.

One hand of the man was held by a handful of pistols with a dull steel glow, and the barrel also seemed to be decorated with religious significance.

Its origins, which clearly smell a dangerous atmosphere, also coincide, and drunken company employees who happen to be in the back alley escape with the momentum to wake up drunk, even though nothing has been done in particular.

But I couldn't help it either.

Because when the man pulled his pistol out, he started firing live ammunition in front of a drunk man.

Even if it wasn't something that was shot at me, anyone would lose their hips or escape if it was extended to such a crime.

"Oh, shit, it's not like you're running away, Japanese. Because I exorcised the evil spirits of Japan.

If you look closely around the man who utters those words, there was something like a remnant of blue and white light scattered all over the place where the live ammunition hit, with zero damage to buildings and alleys.

Apparently, this man's guns and bullets have special tricks on them, and they have special powers just like the psychics dotted in Japan.

Perhaps the religious pattern applied to the pistol is also like some sort of magic engraving.

They attacked monsters and evil spirits that were invisible to ordinary people, making it look like a crime to an earlier salaried man.

Then you see the work of such a man, or the girl who was watching him beside you shows up from the shadow of the alley.

"As usual, the way you do it is impeccable, the Exorcist of the British Sacred Demon Church. This is Harry Taylor, an invincible mercenary who wants a superior name in that country."

"Come on, don't leave me with just a mercenary, Mikado. You would have done evil spirits without any harm to the town or people, wouldn't you? It must have been a perfect job."

The girl who emerged from the dark, a member of a psychic organization attached to the Japanese government, Mitsumomo Nishien murmurs so.

He's poisoned by behavior that doesn't take into account the human impressions around him, but Harry, who recognizes he's done a perfect job, flushed it out like where the wind blows.

And Harry keeps the word as he puts his pistol in the holder.

"In the first place, I've only come and done it because I want a hand in the crusade of Nine Tails, the evil god who is beyond your control, just hired. What are you going to do if you ask me to be polite? I drove one or two evil spirits free of charge, so I want you to thank me."

In fact, one of the biggest threats in Japan was the reason he was hired, a circumstance involving the rebirth of the nine-tailed fox "Before the Jade Algae".

Originally, the Japanese government did not envisage re-sealing the Nine Tails, and was willing to kill the Great Monster in this showdown while killing the Nine Tails with the power of Kuroko Dogami, who exists as a sacrifice if he could.

The helper chosen for this purpose was this man, and Harry Taylor, an exorcist and the best mercenary supposedly capable of magic in England.

But as you can see, I haven't been able to get through the request before due to a little personality difficulty.

Still, this time a man was called because it was time for the government to remain, even with it, in contrast to the gradually weakening seal.

Originally, I would have been anxious to hire this man, albeit temporary, whose strength is so difficult to deal with, but only this time, that means he won't stay.

"You just want to destroy demons and earn your contribution to Holy Demonism. Because the contribution changes to mercenary status as it is. It's a unique system of sacred demons that ignores all humanity and weighs their contribution in terms of the number of crusades they take."

"Ha ha, that's your best opinion. Exactly."

Harry responds without evil, but he is only judged to be at the top of the list in that simple but thus clear meritocracy system, and in terms of combat power, he is out of the box anyway.

If Saito had been here, he wouldn't have believed that there were people who were Earthlings and had the power to this point.

"So, how long have the target foxes been escaping the seal? If we don't deal with this sooner, the Sacrificial Witch alone won't be able to deal with it."

"Yes. Not only this Tokyo, but many damage has already been inflicted by demonic foxes. That's a pretty superior demon fox, too, powerful enough to hide without letting you grab traces of where you are or how you operate. … probably something like Seven Tails or Yao Tails"

Throughout Japan, the disappearance of dignitaries and strange phenomena has been going on for days.

Some have been found dead, and others have lost their memories of their disappearance and come back as if nothing had happened.

I don't know what the intentions are in this series of cases, but it was reasonable to consider them superior demon foxes because of the scale of power.

Because in two or three tails, we can't have this kind of problem.

"Come on, that would be a bad idea. Why didn't you call me sooner, Mikado? If that's the way it is, you could have moved ahead of the vampire exorcism in our country."

"That's because you're not the person who moves as instructed here. … but that may not be the case right now."

I can feel regret from the Nishien Temple gate, but I won't go back to where I said it.

In response, Harry said, "Well, I don't know what else to say," but he lit a cigarette and took it.

Apparently, he had some awareness of his personality difficulties.

"So what's the difference between that dead guy and the guy who came back alive?

"... that's actually the problem"

Said that many of those found dead had their hands dyed in the dark business behind them, or were often the ones with such constant rumors.

Says among those who returned alive there were those who were lightly brainwashed and those who were utterly intact.

Says, it is mainly middle-aged men who are targeted.

Equally, obviously there are many things in the first half that are conscious of human sorting, but in the second half it makes no sense at all why middle-aged men are being targeted.

It's refreshing to see what kind of aim there is.

And Harry, who had been listening in silence with his arms for a while, takes a breath and draws a certain conclusion.

"That's how it works, probably a personal grudge. I know you're a mercenary, but maybe your middle-aged old man did something to get resented by the Nine-Tailed clan. The guy who came back alive was the one who grabbed him for a mistake, and the dead guy didn't like it for that demon fox. Something happened, that's all. It's only a prediction."

Harry turned a smoke he had finished smoking into ash with a sorcery fire, finishing the story.

What is truly awesome about this man is that he is also more insightful than his ability to fight as a mercenary or an exorcist.

Nor has that insight unfortunately been demonstrated on the battlefield, and it has not once or twice spotted enemy maneuvers from the absence of any context.

So much so that the industry is called Sense of Exorcist in awe.

It was not long before Harry, such a superior mercenary, met Saito, who was about to return to Japan.
