About rivers flowing through the forest

Since the creation of the Beast's evacuation village, the treatment of Feng or Kelukaion has improved. Until then, I didn't want to stand out much and saved my strength, but since then, I've been able to use all my abilities because of my wand. After all, it feels like Mister Malik put everything through with hand power during the heyday.

The adventurers weren't stupid, and they seemed to think it wasn't magic, but nobody had ever seen the legendary curse, so they had to take what they were told. That's why I still don't know if he's a leader, but at least as an adventurer, he seems to be trustworthy... I've been treated like this, so all I had to do was build on his track record.

Thus, Feng gradually established himself as a leader as he went back to the river to clear the oak. Nowadays, people don't have to name Leonardo or the Alliance, but they listen.

Now, even if we leave that aside and destroy the orc, it is impossible to investigate everything because the large forest is so large that it accounts for more than half of the continent. So it is necessary to give some attention, but when it comes to which area to focus on, the Feng and the others came to the conclusion that they would be fine with the river basin.

The oak was born of oanness, so its habitat was concentrated in the river. Naturally, creatures cannot live without water, so forest animals also gather in the water field. It would have been more convenient for Orcs to be around here to prey on it, so after all, they seemed to have stayed around for a long time since they were born.

An appetizing oak colony has a large number of animal carcasses and bones rolling around, so anyone could tell immediately. The trail disappears a little further from the river, so it has become apparent that the oak colony is spread over a distance of at least one kilometer from the basin.

That's why the crusaders have been heading up the river ever since they entered the woods, and when they find traces of oak along the way, they focus on the nearby area and destroy it. It's been repeated.

Occasionally, if a small tributary was flowing, we had to look further ahead, but after a while, it became clear whether there was an orc in the tributary.

The orc is either to show off its health, or it's a natural habit to go forward while tearing down the trees. So if you go into the tributary and walk for a while, if there is an orc, you will find trees that have fallen unnaturally.

Speaking of which, if there were no torn down trees, it would not be necessary to investigate their tributaries. In that case, it was likely that there would be survivors, so in the end, we had to investigate all of them, but it was much easier mentally because we knew to some extent what was waiting ahead.

In this way, the exploration that had been going well for about twenty days, going back to the river, fell at a turning point. It was literally a turning point, where the Great River split into two strands.

The assassins were asked to decide whether to continue east or turn north. It happened that there was a Gargantuar village just near this junction, so it was just right, so I decided to go there first and use it as an activity base.

And the feng returned to that nostalgic village.

Gargantuar villages, unlike other destroyed villages, remained relatively clean. The village was attacked by Raven, but after all, it was quickly defeated by the mani, so it didn't seem too rough.

The orcs appeared in the vicinity, but fortunately, after the villagers were taken away, the orcs didn't seem interested in a village with no one around. The elder's pig, unfortunately, did not survive.

Mani appears to have returned to mourn his father Gargantuar after the Pizarro raid, when he was using the Alliance's garrison alongside the lizard merchant Gekko, leaving it ready for immediate use.

However, because of the long period of unattended life, the interior was full of dust, the garden was covered in weeds, and there was no shadow to see. Lucy, who had been living there for a long time, began to clean up, so Feng and other adventurers also collapsed and cleaned up the village.

We must stay here for a while if we are to be based anyway. In that case, the adventurers and beasts scatter into the village to make the most of the remaining houses. Some of them appeared to be from this village, and they were silently cleaning up their houses.

Feng and Mani put their hands on the tomb of his father Gargantuar, and began to clean up the chief's house.

The chief's house was very spacious unlike other houses, and it took a lot of cleaning, but instead it was a sturdy building unlike other houses, so it seemed just right to bring supplies to the warehouse or hold a meeting. However, in order to make a supply base for this number of people, it is narrow enough to be a boulder, so either build a new hut nearby or use an Alliance....

With that in mind, I heard Guillaume's familiar voice from the front door as she scraped the slab floor.

"Feng, were you here? Find something like this in the guild, actually."

With that, Guillaume brought out a map of the great forest. This incident was used by Leonardo and the Guild Leader to keep track of Oannes' origins before it became an oak disturbance.

One was written about the nearby river and the Wesen settlement there. Because I researched from a lizard merchant who usually travels to and from the big forest, the content is quite detailed.

There were other accurate aerial maps as if they had been taken in the sky, and this was not a big forest, but a world map that clearly showed the shape of the entire continent. Therefore, the scale is too large to be suitable for ordinary use, but I was very grateful because I could see the shape of the big river I was looking at this time.

As a matter of fact, as soon as I came to this world, I had seen it when I was still in the palace of Hermes... But why is there such a thing, even though the forest is not so big and Neuroi is supposed to be an unprecedented place?

Probably left behind by a long time ago wanderer (Bagabond), but with these irregularities going on forever, the technology of this world is truly a mystery. Regardless of that stupidity, it's very helpful now, so let me thank you for using it.

The feng decided to finish the village there and gather at the chief's house to discuss the future policy.

By the way, this is the map of the world. Phoenix live in the Baltica in the west, and Laurentia in the east is the so-called New World. Nevertheless, its existence has long been known by maps and could not be described as a new continent to be exact.

So what is new is that 300 years ago the brave found a western route, and it seems that for the first time mankind proved that the world was round and gained a foothold to enter the eastern continent, which has since become known as the new continent.

Its circumference around the world is roughly 20,000 kilometers long, and it seems like a planet much smaller than Earth, but since it does not feel the effects of gravity, the core is either heavy or the phoenix bodies have adapted.

As you can see, the Warriors of the New World are spreading across the river basins in the eastern part of the continent, bringing enormous wealth from this vast colony to the country. Thanks to that, the war will never end... well, it doesn't matter now, so let's pull the world map in.

Now we have to think about the big forests in the middle of the Baltica.

As mentioned earlier, the large forest has a large mountain range in the middle, which has separated the world of humans and demons. However, it seems that Oannes has crossed this mountain, and suddenly the Wesen tribal society has been in great chaos, but on the contrary, let's say that Oannes' intrusion path has already been narrowed.

There are four rivers flowing out of this mountain that flow directly into human habitat, but if these are suppressed, it is presumed that the orcs will probably no longer reach human habitat. If possible, I would like to clear another river, the southern basin where the rabbits lived, but now it would be better to narrow it down to the four northern rivers.

Of these, the two on the right were destined for Orpheus territory, and there was little information due to the war. Perhaps Oannes' intrusion is over, but we don't know what's going on there. I have no choice but to pray for safety now.

For the two remaining rivers extending to the northwest of the Great Forest, they merged on the way, which was the junction where the Feng and the others were currently trapped.

Now that we have discovered how these rivers are connected, we can also formulate future policies.

Specifically, in this expedition, the crusaders aim to destroy the orcs from the two northwestern rivers. To do this, they first clear the orcs from the first junction near the village of Gargantuar to the source stream in the east. The idea is then to go north after returning to the junction point, check to the end of each river at the second junction, which separates into three forks, and then exit to Hermes territory.

In the meantime, if we gather the beasts scattered all over the place and prepare for re-intrusion, we can at least eliminate the threat from the river basin in the northwest. To tell you the truth, Pizarro was mostly in this basin, so if we just clean it up, maybe we won't be afraid of the demon invasion anymore.

Well, since hopeful observations are painful when the sun comes off, it would be better to think and act that other rivers are allowing the oak to enter, but the immediate goal is to normalize the basin. Afterwards, I would like to get more information from the Orpheus before deciding on a policy.
