It Seems I Came to Another World, Now What Should I Do

Episode 464: How to Start Making Miso and Have a Town

Get out of the kitchen while Alexoria drops you off. Out of the Lordship Hall, it's a refreshing air from yesterday. Temperature is just as good compared to the day when it was steaming and the night when it was cold. It's good to have Dills out on a good day too. With that in mind, I head towards Zao.

As they enter through the alcohol disinfection and double doors, the other two have finished their meals or are watching the steaming wheat koji.

"Ah, lord. Welcome home."

You noticed this one, the two of you come together and say hello. You're close, your breath is perfect.

"I'm home. You're in trouble. What's happening to Koji?

"As you told me, I'm setting it on fire to keep the temperature to a point where I feel warmer with my hands behind me"

Oh, didn't I tell you the expression to steam? Alektoria is serving steamed food... I wonder if he's a cook who hasn't reached that area yet.

"Yeah. As an expression, you're boiling water and putting steam on it, right? I say steam this. In the meantime, I think I'll learn from Alexandria. If I use it for cooking, I think I will use it when passing the heat so as not to make it hard. Or use it when you don't want extra heat when you want to lose excess fat. It's a cooking method used if you don't lose moisture and boil it, and the yummy runs away into the soup."

With that said, once again, as impressed as I am, I begin to gaze at the pan, the cloth, and the steam that rises.

"Mr. Alexoria said the lord was a cooking teacher, but you were telling the truth. I can't believe you're a nobleman and you cook."

"Weak? Ha, it's like a hobby. When you get married, do you ever want to feed your wife something delicious? It's a bad idea to ask them to make something delicious on the one hand."

When I say that, I start laughing at you two for figuring out it was a joke after they freaked out.

"Please don't scare me"

"I'm sorry. Well, I want to give you heat and moisture for another two hours or so. Let's start boiling the beans in the meantime. I was wondering if you could bring me yesterday's beans."

With that said, I bring it desperately with me in a barrel for both of us.

"Well. What do you think when you look at the beans?

One grain from the surface, take the beans out and put them on your palms.

"Oh, it was round, but it's shaped like it was before I let it dry"

Taller answers, pointing.

"Right. This shape is what it is, isn't it? Just when the sun is out, shall we watermark it?"

Through the double door, out. It sucks unnecessarily moisture when it waters down to the sun.

"Look, the colors are even, and touch the one in the middle. It's as soft as it is around you, isn't it? This state is desirable. When the core remains, it becomes dark when it is watered down to the sun, so I can tell when I see it. Make sure when you let them inhale the water."

With that said, the two of them check the beans watered down to the sun and shake their necks.

"Yes, they are evenly colored. You're in this state."

"I've contained enough water, shall we cook it now? Well, let's go back."

Also disinfect and go back inside. I have a window attached but I can't open it now because I don't know what effect it will have on the koji. I guess I'll open the window just to make sure the koji is rooted.

"Once you've properly contained the moisture to this point, you don't need that much water to cook. It's good enough to make the surface shiny."

Transfer beans to a dimensional torso pan and produce water by hydromagic. Pour well water into objects returned with well water to try.

"Later, it should be cooked for about three hours with fire power to such an extent that the surface does not boil to a large bubble. Ac's coming out, so I was wondering if you'd like me to see how it goes while I remove it."

Burn the firewood and light the fire. As the temperature in the room rises too high, slowly lower the thermal power of the wheat koji person as he watches how it is.

Seeing it, we're both sweating on boulders. So is the temperature, but the humidity is high anyway. Same as in a wet sauna. Me? I don't have to tell you anymore. I sweat.

"Hydration is serious. With the temperature rising, you should be extra sweaty. After that, if you can, include salt one by one. If you don't, you'll fall."

"Okay. If you put a fire in the boulder in the quadruple, it's tough. Is the lord all right?

"I think I'll know when I see it, but I'm not fine. It's sweaty, and I'm going down. But we have to see what happens to the beans."

With that said, I cook the beans, chatting about my life so far and why I went for the cook. Remove the ac from the eyelashes and continue mixing from the bottom with a large wooden spoon so that the heat turns evenly. I'm already getting high in the heat and keep cooking the beans as we continue to chat extensively. Along the way, the timing of the wheat koji came, so I unload it from the steamed state and put it on the tarai again to cover it.

"Oh. After all, there are no jobs in the south."

"Yes. You're just a ship carpenter and a fisherman. What is life made of somehow? The rest is a situation where you live too long while paying taxes. Farmers and wheat can't do it, and water is precious, so they can't use it freely inside."

"Can't you drink the river water intact on boulders? But if you want to use it as agricultural water, don't you mind?

"They used to pull it directly from the river into the field, but thank goodness it affected the fishing, and it was forbidden to pull it in directly. When that happens, the task is to draw it into the bucket. Farmers went out of business and out of town, too. When that happens, the price of food in general soars. Because I can't live by eating only fish. So we went out of town with our family, but we didn't have a job, so we stretched our legs into Viscount Norwegian territory."

"Is your family still in Count Terraxta territory?

"Yes, both parents and siblings are cooks, so they seem to be doing it in detail. I wish I could grow up in this town and call you."

The shorter say, they nod at each other.

"Oh. Yeah. Be successful. I'll give you as many opportunities as you want, so I want you to take them. Even the town's population will increase from now on. The demand for cooks grows, so you can grow and become independent, you can keep cooking at the Lordship Hall, you can focus on making misos, and you can live as you please."

"Right...... right. We might have given up on the part about living to say that. If we take care of Alexandria in this town and watch the town grow itself, there's something we can do. That's what I've been thinking."

Equality as a result is just delusional. This is the town we're going to run out of. Opportunities are rolling everywhere. If you can grab it and run with me, I have no better joy than that.

"I can do it. That's why we have this town. It's a new town, a town that's starting to run. Run with me or they'll leave you."

When I say that, the three of us laugh. These two are fine. I haven't given up, I'm a person who can run looking ahead. Norweh also turns around some really good talent. Well, some might say that people in this world are honest...

"Come on, it's time for the beans to cook. It's time for lunch, let's see."

That said, take out a grain of the bean you were cooking, pinch it with your right thumb and pinky finger and crush it.

"Ideally, it would crumble under so much pressure. Remember this with your senses. I don't care how many you crush."

As they breathe and cool down on the hot beans, they crush and remind their bodies of the sensation.

"Now, let's open it to the monkey and let it cool down a little. I'm going to have to crush it, but it's too hot. Shall we have lunch with it open to the monkeys and crush it when it's a little cold?"

With that said, you're tired of being in this heat on a boulder, and you get a powerless consent back.

Since the broth will be used again, open it in a different pan with a monkey and separate it into the broth and beans so that it stays cold.

"After lunch is the real deal. This work will continue from now on. I want you to remember me properly, so I want you to eat plenty and bring me back my energy."

That's what I say as I stroke the heads of the two of them, and they snort at me as I scuff. Come on, it's lunch.
