[Dungeon of the Dunes] was a special dungeon with a vast area of sand dunes, instead of only one level.
"Mr. Cecilia, how's this dungeon?
"You haven't had any [giant crystals] reactions so far. There may be exceptions, so I can't be sure this dungeon doesn't have one...
"Oh well, but because of that, shall we attack the dungeon? [Empire] I think the dungeons within will be for practice because they have a lot of sand and rock stuff.

Justin prevents sandstorms with his wind attributes, but only in person, and Amelia seemed tough to prevent sandstorms with his light attributes.
