Jujutsushi Wa Yuusha Ni Narenai

Episode 29: The Magic of Metastasis

Since we succeeded in capturing the big frog with Mr. Twin Leafs' overwhelming mad warrior power, we just decided to move on.

The magic team's compass, right here! and all showed a point like a circular square that was at the center of the lake, that is, ahead of the surface bridge.

"But there's nothing here..."

Trouble is, this place is just a square, no matter what you think. A cobblestone-like floor extends at a point about 30 cm deep, just like a water bridge. Structurally, a giant pillar stands from the bottom of the lake, and I would feel right above it.

"Hmm."

and roaring without meaning, for now I decide to look for any gimmicks. Since Miwa Natsugawa used traps, it may be said that it is almost certain that various tricks are applied to this dungeon. There's got to be something in this place more than the compass is pointing out here.

That said, no hints at all. There's no such thing as a stone slab with riddles written on it, unless it's like a device that's going to move a hidden door.

If I insist, the fact that the cobblestone is painted like a magic formation is enough to make it seem like it. But there is also the possibility that this is just a decoration.

I wrapped my arms around it and touched the groove that drew the magic formations that spread at my feet.

"After all, nothing will happen"

Touching your fingertips are hard stones and a little slippery moss over them. I don't know how long I've been sinking into the water, but it would also be a natural environment for moss to be steaming.

How thoughtful I was stroking, something carelessly gnarly soft poked my finger.

"Hmm?"

I thought if I looked up from the water - my heart would stop.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa!?

There's an oval black creature hanging at my fingertips. As it is sucked by a powerful suction cup, the tip of the mouth and the area of thought hang from the tip of my index finger with Brahn.

Yes, that's leeches. It was a big leech. It's about 15 centimeters, Koz.

"Ahhh!?

With half a frenzy, I don't quite blow it off, although I wiggle my arms with the boom, how big and adsorbent it is. In the meantime, the leeches seemed to draw out my blood at an accelerating rate, and I could see a build-up of red liquid inside them from the slightly permeable body surface.

Black Blood Blood: The Blood Is -

"Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!"

Right now, I felt something kind of like a spell description floating around in my head, but I can't afford to calmly decipher it in the middle of being sucked on gokugoku blood by a giant leech. Though there is no pain, I feel so disgusted that I want to cry out because of my disgusting translucent body that makes me look different to be sucked. I mean, I'm crying a little bit more.

"Ha... ha... and taken..."

Eventually, he succeeded in releasing the leech by pulling out his fingers while stepping on it with his feet. I didn't mean to, but I seem to have put too much weight on it and crushed it behind my shoes. My sucked blood spread in the water, like a red twig.

"Also, Peach River! Are you okay!?"

And that's all I fussed about by myself, the other side, Mr. Berserker Twin Leaves, showed up with a doozy, big body and a shake in his chest.

"So, it's okay... more like there's a big leech on this floor, so be careful not to get bitten"

"Oh, yeah!?

Mr. Twin Leaves carving his steps with Bashabasha on the water while making his eyes black and white. I finally finished the dance making sure I didn't have a disgusting bloodsucking organism around my leg.

"What about Core?

"Yeah, I got it right!

While I was researching the circular square, I asked Mr. Twin Leaves to collect the core from the big frog I defeated. The boulder seems to have succeeded brilliantly, Ace of the White Ridge School Culinary Department.

Red crystals shine in her hands, offered with a full smile. Definitely, core. This is the second time I've seen this. I saw it when they took the armored bear's core.

In retrospect, I feel that the big frog's are smaller than the armored bear's at least once. After all, does strength as a demon matter? As a figure, they're both the same, but no matter what you think, the combat ability will be higher for armored bears.

"Thank you. But unfortunately, you don't know anything about this one -"

A sudden change comes when I try to report an impeccable finding. [M]

"Oh, my God, the magic team is glowing!

As if waiting even for Mr. Twin Leaves' arrival, the shapes of the square that spread at his feet began to glow red. Apparently, this wasn't just a pattern, it was a real magic formation.

"Wow, wow, what do I do, Peach River!?

Whatever I do, I don't know anything about magic, so I don't know what to do.

However, I noticed that the core in Mr. Twin Leaves' hands also began to shine as the magic formation emitted light.

"The core's glowing! For now, throw it away!

"Eh!

That's how Mr. Twin Leaves threw away Pawn and his precious core. He drew a beautiful arc and emitted a dazzling red light on the verge of pochanting on the surface of the water, as if the core had even become a flash grenade.

"Wow."

A vision that closes instantaneously. Though it closes its eyes reflexively, intense light can also be felt from behind the eyelids. So much so that now, if I open my eyes, I might go blind.

So I opened my eyelids again after thirty seconds. At least since I'm sure the great light has subsided.

"Mmm... Mr. Twin Leaves, are you okay?

It's okay. It's okay.

Turn to your voice, blurry and in your sight, you start to see Mr. Twin Leaves' big figure. For now, we noticed a change, although reassuring each other that we were safe.

"That's here... not the lake"

When the vision that was tickling with flashing light returned to normal after a bright adaptation, I immediately noticed that the surrounding scenery was changing.

"Ah, Fairy Square...... right?

Yeah, and I can nod in two replies, because the first thing that popped into my eyes was the fountain where the lovely fairy elephant stood, a symbol of safety and security in this dungeon.

However, I guess both I and Mr. Twin Leaves, who unintentionally raised the question mark, were puzzled by the slight change in their taste in the whole square.

As big as it is. But somehow this place is... less green. It felt like a corner of a natural park, but this place feels like a complete indoor. Each fairy walnut tree standing on the left and right is one bottle at a time, and there are no blooming colorful flower gardens. Instead, a few sorry planters are just positioned around the fountain.

Something looks like a terrible killing landscape.

"Come on, seriously, we did it, Nishiyama, someone's here!

"Hey, be careful. What if it's a plain, a mouth or something?"

The moment I hear such a voice, my dodgy heart rattles with tension.

Shit, there's someone here - no, from voice and dialogue, there's two boys and girls, Hirano and Nishiyama!

"Oh, what is it, Peach River... and, oh, Mr. Twin Leaves?"

"Oh, yeah? Good, not the weird one."

Look, there was definitely, like, two classmates there.

A man in tall jersey laughing at Herahela is you, Hirano. My attendance number is number 19, and he's number 18, so I remember my face and name well, even if I didn't have any particular friendship, because I was sitting in front of him when the attendance numbers were arranged just up in two years. Finally, I remember struggling to board badly because of that big back.

On the other hand, Mr. Nishiyama, who looks like a sailor, has no particular friendship over here either. I mean, I don't have any friendships with girls, but I don't care now.

Mr. Nishiyama is a glasses girl with a middle meat middle back and not a particularly prominent appearance. I don't have to say one thing or the other. I'm a plain girl student, but I'm not saying anything about it. Normally I have friends in my class and I remember them bickering on holiday time in some groups.

He is a livestock harmless classmate who doesn't care about anything in his normal school life, but now, in this extreme dungeon survival situation, no one can be alarmed.

In the meantime, there's no sign of these two being attacked with or without words - but too much to be wary of.

Because they're a pair, and I combine with Mr. Twin Leaves, too. In other words, even on this occasion, there were four cursed numbers gathered.

"Ya, hey there..."

I greet him back with a bitter laugh, desperate to hide my nervousness and vigilance.

Now, will these two be companions, or will they be enemies? Hopefully, there's nothing more to it now than to pray that it doesn't develop into a miserable killing.
