Chapter 2527: Kaleidoscope World

"You folks from District 001 are quite adept at doing business." Xu Huo said casually.

The middle-aged man didn’t respond but persisted, "Do you agree?"

Xu Huo raised an eyebrow, "Should I sign a contract with you?"

Clearly understanding the sarcasm aimed at him, the middle-aged man produced a map, "The places circled are relatively safe resting points."

"A route into the city center." Xu Huo carefully examined the buildings on the map, noticing some taller ones, but mostly they were shorter. Especially when entering the commercial district within the city’s core, although there were tall buildings there, the marked ones were mostly low.

"What’s the destination?" he asked again.

"There is no destination." The middle-aged man said calmly, "You’ve also mentioned, sir, the reason this venue was left behind is to cultivate future players. What’s the point of directly snatching things from the small bosses in the dungeon venue? We need to reach the city center first."

Xu Huo laughed, "And you still dare to say there are Super Props in there?"

The middle-aged man contained himself, hesitated briefly, and then said, "What does it matter if you don’t believe it?"

With those words, he closed his eyes again, indicating that the conversation was over.

Xu Huo looked at him for two seconds before going to find Bubble Bean.

Bubble Bean had no objections when told the plan needed to be postponed, "You try his method first, I’ll continue with mine. If you can’t make progress on your end, then I’ll step in later. Even if we can’t defeat the small boss, it’s good to annoy it!"

Xu Huo wasted no more time, first heading for the nearest tall building marked on the map. At this point, he was still quite far from the core of the city center. A quick move did not provoke any unusual metal activity nearby, and further relocations did not encounter any trouble. But when he used the Mental Portal to enter a discreet low building, he suddenly sank beneath his feet. Then he felt like he passed through a wall, entering another space.

However, after less than a second of delay, he still landed back on the building’s floor—the place hadn’t changed, nor had the city’s layout around him, but the space he was in clearly wasn’t the same as before.

Xu Huo stood still because the space around him began to solidify. It was a change caused by spatial power that was extremely slowed down. At first, it was a small wave of power, like Spatial Rays dancing solo, and soon these Spatial Rays gathered together, compressing and transforming into irregular Spatial Barriers.

Subsequently, the Spatial Barriers began to crack slowly, becoming sharp weapons after another consolidation. Then, these Spatial Ray Blades started to compress, shrinking from large to small, more and more Spatial Ray Blades compressed together, like stacking blocks. After infinitely compressing each block’s size, even a small space the size of a fist could be filled with thousands of blocks.

Thus, Xu Huo watched these Spatial Ray Blades slowly compress into irregular Spatial Bodies...

He wasn’t surprised at this point. After all, his Spatial Evolutionary Power reached such a degree before it was sealed, although the number of Spatial Bodies he could control wasn’t large. The number of Spatial Ray Blades added to single Spatial Bodies wasn’t many either... but as these Spatial Bodies began to change, his expression shifted.

Because these Spatial Bodies began to compress, even though they were composed of Spatial Ray Blades that had been compressed thousands of times, they started to reassemble and compress again, turning into small units!

The power contained in Spatial Bodies was already terrifying. Even when Xu Huo just touched the threshold, the power released by the Spatial Bodies he controlled was still strongly lethal. It was hard to imagine the destruction these Spatial Bodies, far beyond his control range, would have after compression. This was the realm of the Super Player, even though he had a Water Rubik’s Cube as backup, he couldn’t guarantee safety if these Spatial Bodies became uncontrollable!

But at the moment, he was surrounded by such Spatial Bodies. Forget escape, he couldn’t even move!

Hundreds of Spatial Bodies gradually compressed to fist size, followed by thousands of Spatial Bodies compressing into the same fist-sized place, then ten thousand, tens of thousands... until so many were compressed that he couldn’t recall how many Spatial Bodies had entered. However, these compressed Super Space Bodies connected to form a field around him, and even with this compression, each individual Super Space Body remained within his perception, not yet reaching the level of Lawrence Lee.

Due to the slow evolution speed of the Spatial Bodies, Xu Huo could clearly feel the power pull between these Super Space Bodies. They weren’t independent but connected. Just when he guessed what further changes these Super Space Bodies would undergo, they began to arrange themselves systematically and gradually shrink, then in front of him, they transformed into a narrow spatial power belt, a finger-width thin line. Two seconds later, this finger-width spatial power belt became a fine thread, in scale much like the smallest unit of spatial power—like a spatial ray.

In the next moment, the spatial power belt suddenly expanded into thousands, and these thousands of spatial belts recombined into a space body barely the size of a fingertip—a fuzzy Polyhedron shape visible directly to the naked eye. When this Polyhedron reassembled, he saw a thread composed of multiple space bodies.

This final spatial form floated like a piece of floating silk in front of him. Upon closer inspection, one could see layers of overlapping Polyhedron flickering inside, akin to a Magic Star River...

The Spiritual World is termed a "world" when spiritual power can be released to interfere with others, because it is a "world" created by the Psychic Evolver as its core. Hence, this floating silk-like spatial belt should also be called a "world."

Layers upon layers of Polyhedrons, infinitely compressed spatial folds, and yet all contained within inches...

"Kaleidoscope World." Xu Huo first thought of the Kaleidoscope. Of course, the Kaleidoscope is merely a small toy utilizing optical principles, reflecting light through glass pieces to form various patterns, vastly different from spatial bodies. Yet, from the final visual effect, they are notably similar. Moreover, spatial power in the hands of a Player is indeed an alternative "toy," isn’t it?

He stared at that "floating silk," and a true Kaleidoscope World unwittingly emerged in his mind. But instinctively controlling the spatial rays, the Water Cube Barrier appeared once again.

Although he spent considerable time studying the structure of the Water Cube Barrier, regrettably, no breakthrough seemed possible up till now. Just when he decided to stop, the "floating silk" suddenly flew toward him.
