The middle-aged man seemed to have heard a joke, silently showing sarcasm, and then closed his eyes, looking as if he didn’t intend to speak again.

"Your companions might be fighting bravely right now; do you really want to die here meaninglessly?"
The middle-aged man who originally planned to ignore them finally opened his eyes after his breathing steadied, "Just Rank-B players, how can you rob Instance ownership from Rank-A players?"

The place they emerged was a city, with unused buildings lining the streets, many made of metal. Hence, after dispersing, Xu Huo’s group hid in different buildings.
The Girl in the painting and Bubble Bean chose a nearby shop on the street, using the metal tables and chairs inside as shields at the entrance, whereas Xu Huo and the middle-aged man who had long freed himself from restraints preferred a taller building with a better view. They each went up a side of the skyscraper, and after catching each other’s gaze from a distance, the middle-aged man attacked first:
"Fall to the bottom!"
Xu Huo, who was ascending, inexplicably slipped and fell out the window. As he dropped, besides the relentless arrow rain, two more attacks were fired from the ground directly towards his back!
The "Spatial Sphere" enveloped Xu Huo, dissipating the attack’s force. He grabbed a nearby floor’s window and leapt back into the building.
By now, the middle-aged man had reached the rooftop, still within Xu Huo’s sensing range. Watching the man enter the rooftop room and hide in a wooden cabinet, taking off all his metal items, Xu Huo immediately understood what was going on. He swiftly put away his metal props and leapt out of the skyscraper window. The next second, the metal building behind him seemed to be gripped by an invisible giant hand, the entire skyscraper starting from the floor he jumped from was squeezed flat, a metal skyscraper dozens of stories tall, twisted and deformed like a soda can!
