Chapter 2529: Forced Learning

He didn’t get up because the fluctuations of spatial power came from above. Then he saw layers of progressive polyhedrons compressed by the Super Space Body Belt opening and closing above the building space. They kept rotating, opening layer by layer, blooming like flower stamens. As the polyhedrons, reflecting faint light, gradually receded, the ceiling of the floor disappeared, replaced by a black spatial passage. It was utterly dark, with an inexplicable attraction, leading to an unknown place.

Amidst the surging spatial power, Xu Huo attempted to oscillate a spatial ray, but immediately sensed something different. He felt that his spatial power connected to a complete Super Space Body.

The basic spatial body forms the superposition of a spatial barrier and a spatial ray blade. The Super Space Body compresses more spatial bodies. The challenge of controlling both lies in the complexity that develops internally, making it difficult for an Evolver to precisely manage finer details. In other words, as more spatial bodies are compressed, their internal areas become inaccessible to the Evolver’s powers and thus are hard to maintain.

However, at this moment, he experienced a different subtle sensation. It was as if, for the first time, connecting a ray through a spatial ray within an object destroyed it, providing a sense of mastery stretching from trunk to branch, and further to every leaf and vein on each leaf.

With just a trace of spatial ray, he could effortlessly control a Super Space Body, and with his movements, this Super Space Body could even rotate and shift.

Looking at the black passage, Xu Huo wasn’t in a hurry to explore it. Instead, utilizing this power, he began to decompose the Super Space Body, independently releasing each compressed spatial body while maintaining the Super Space Body’s integrity. Initially, he decomposed them one at a time, then ten at once, then a hundred. After decomposing them, he recombined these spatial bodies, restoring them to their previous Super Space Body form.

The space imbued with Super Evolution Power aids an Evolver in better handling evolutionary power, which is a valuable aspect of evolutionary sites. Places like these are often battlefields left behind by Super Players after fierce battles. Since the combat power of Super Players has reached another dimension, the forces they unleash can be preserved for extended durations, though not permanently. The Chaotic Space that appeared earlier in Zone 01 continues releasing spatial energy. One day, that space may return to normal or disappear entirely.

But the ground within this instance is remarkably stable, granting him ample time to practice at ease.

After repeating this a hundred times, feeling he grasped some essentials, Xu Huo directed spatial power through the black passage and sensed a spatial gate within its depths. Like decomposing a Super Space Body, he began to decompose this spatial gate.

Though the spatial gate is stable, its internal structure is likely much more complex than the composite of the polyhedron belt. This might represent the impediment to passing through stable space. Of course, it’s uncertain if this gateway truly mirrors a space barrier because, if it does, no player who enters could possibly pass through it.

The black passage disappeared, and the polyhedron closed layer by layer until it vanished completely.

Xu Huo checked the time and then attempted to break the barrier outside the building. With prior experience, he succeeded in decomposing it this time—unlike the unstable spatial body he controlled. Although a corner was decomposed, the entire space wall didn’t collapse because of it.

He created a hole to crawl out and returned to the real metal city. While hesitating about whether to follow the map route, an overwhelming invisible force suddenly struck. He instinctively used a Spatial Defense Artefact, barely put up a block before being struck full force, enclosed in a "Spatial Sphere," piercing through several buildings before finally landing in a furniture city.

The "Spatial Sphere" mitigates some of the attack’s force, proving to be one of the most practical defense props Xu Huo had. Yet, despite this, he was still thrown into a dizzying whirlwind, with his blood churning, and when he finally stopped, even the prop forcibly disengaged.

"Cough!" Half-kneeling on the ground, he coughed up a few drops of blood, barely calming his mind a few seconds later.

Such powerful attacks—at Rank-A, it should be among the top tier. Could someone have entered Zone 00 again?

But no one appeared within two kilometers, nor did the attacking force reemerge... Observing his surroundings, his expression suddenly turned subtle: this furniture city was exactly one of the locations marked on the map.

He didn’t need to manipulate spatial power to know the furniture city was enclosed by space. After calming down, he tested again and found the space barrier around the furniture city had been upgraded compared to the previous low buildings; merely breaking down the Super Space Body wasn’t sufficient.

Xu Huo took a deep breath, found a bed to lie down on, crossed his hands over his abdomen, and seemingly talked to himself, "Haven’t slept in days. At this rate, I’ll die of exhaustion. Better to rest first before proceeding."

Due to his injuries, he didn’t sleep well. Even if the raised evolution rate enabled his body to recover quickly, damage to internal organs couldn’t heal instantly.

After ingesting a few potions, Xu Huo groggily fell asleep an hour later.

Six hours later, he awoke to find the ground shaking, but that feeling vanished upon sitting up. Heading to the front door, he looked outside; the sunlight was perfect, yet not a hint of wind seeped through.

After some stretching, he attempted once more to decompose the space barrier. Naturally, space bodies and polyhedrons filled the furniture city, continuously combining and deconstructing, like part of the backdrop.

Xu Huo retrieved the communicator, looked up prior information on spatial evolution that he had gathered, and began listening as he attempted.

The information on Super Evolution was vast and varied, too much to have been fully reviewed before. It was the perfect opportunity to see if any of it proved useful.

Another two days swiftly passed. Almost utterly spent, the ceiling unveiled the black passage again. This time, he tried; it felt like the portal had slightly loosened, but still seemed far from opening.

Learning from past mistakes, he didn’t hurry to break through the space wall but first found rest within the furniture city before piercing a hole near the door to exit.

To avoid another attack, he headed straight for the first marked building upon exiting. To his surprise, someone was inside this time.
