Kikanshita Yuusha no Gojitsudan

Episode 79: Brave Freshman Acquisition Struggle II

"Monitor is ready ~"

"Bike placement. Is this good?

"The power cord is not long enough!!"

The voices of the circle members meet in the courtyard of the university.

Numerous circles around us are running to prepare for freshman solicitation.

Circle solicitation week begins today after the college admissions ceremony as well.

This period runs from noon to 6pm when each circle sets a booth in the college gate-to-courtyard section to appeal to freshmen to enter and join the club.

Of course, there are circles that do not increase the number of people in particular, and there are quite a few that do not make special solicitations that do not expect non-experienced entrants in the athletic department system or the like, but most circles are still shredding their efforts to acquire freshmen to leave circles even after their graduation.

The touring circle is also an important event for all of us to know about survival and the pleasure of motorcycling.

Normally, I call out to and solicit freshmen who caught my attention and stopped my feet with standing signs and POPs while exhibiting members' motorcycles, but this year I decided to connect a DVD player to a 60-inch LCD TV to stream footage showing the sights of seasonal landscapes and touring taken by cameras fitted to the helmet.

This LCD TV was used by Saito at home, and when I moved it, it damaged the antenna terminal and asked me to buy it again.

Nothing. I don't have a problem with using it as a monitor, not as a TV.

I created a DVD by hand shooting it since I conceded it last summer or editing it using the original footage.... Yamazaki...

There are four motorcycles on display: my CB1300SF and Kubo's Bonneville 790, Kawasaki Z250 in Taunaga, and Sero 225 in Aigawa.

Consideration is that the type of motorcycle should be shown a lot.

Place the LCD TV with a conference length table in the center of the booth and position the bike on both sides so as to pinch the table. And display the circle name with a standing sign and a handheld sign.

Kubo and Sy are in charge of the reception. Kobayashi, another woman, holds a hand-held sign and is a step in which two male members explain their motorcycles and activities.

And for some reason, I'm wearing a rabbit dress and I have a handheld sign.

My body shape and height are "intimidating" and the majority of intra-circle meetings have decided to wear a mushroom. So I'm turning into a fancy pink rabbit.

I'm used to wearing Gurumi in connection with Saito events. I'm used to it, but my vision is narrow. It's hot and painful. It's something I don't want to do if I can.

And you can have a noon chime. It's a solicitation start.

Even so, as usual, it shouldn't be that crowded at first on the look of things.

Students come out of the classroom building but move to the building with the dining room with a side-eye peek at each circle's booth to the extent of cooling.

Freshmen are surprised to have a basic education lecture in most faculties for the first six months or so. So after 4 o'clock after the lecture should be a full solicitation time.

It would be to the extent that I am checking what circles there are now.

When I was thinking about it, I saw a boy student approaching the booth.

And as I headed straight to the reception, Sy rang out.

"Believers. I knew you were here?

"Naturally. I've been meaning to come in for a while. I didn't expect you to have a sister."

Yes. As you can imagine, I'm a believer in Sy's brother. Thank you.

He's been saying for quite some time that he's going to enroll in our college and go into touring circles, and there's no shards of unexpectedness.

Nevertheless, he is a valuable new member. I don't have any personality issues and you're welcome.

"Hey faithful! Nice to see you!

"Huh? That voice, Brother Yu?!

I raise my voice to my surprise when the faithful see me.

Well, I guess so. All of a sudden the rabbit's clothes came talking to me.

Even for me, I don't mean to give a voice to the faithful in such a dumb outfit, but I can't help it.

"... don't worry about this outfit. Anyway, welcome."

"No, you know, Brother Hiro's in trouble, too."

Do you understand?

"Senior Kashiwagi, do you know him? Senior Kudo's brother?

Kubo will listen to me and the faithful.

"Oh. He's Sy's brother, and of course he knows me. Shinto Kudo. Freshman."

"Really? My name is Arika Kubo. I'm a sophomore in the Department of Education. Best regards,"

Kubo said that and smiled at the faithful.

…………

No reply from the faithful.

Hey, what's up?

When I saw it, I saw Kubo and it hardened.

"Believers! Any greetings?!

"!! Oh, sorry! I'm Shinto Kudo! Best wishes!!

The faithful greet with their heads bowed in haste. Her face is bright red.

... Could this possibly be?

"Ah, Kubo, please explain the membership process and circle for the faithful. We'll see how things go for a while anyway."

As soon as I say so, the faithful look at me.

I can tell that the expression is often filled with joy.

Niyanya, I can't stop laughing, but I can't see the expression in my clothes anyway and I have a problem with it.

"Ah, yes. So, Kudo? I'll explain. Come here and give me your student ID."

"Yes!

I will escort the faithful to a table that Kubo has set up on the other side of the reception.

Sy laughs bitterly.

Kubo is quite beautiful and I have some products because of her growing up.

I want you to do your best.

Afterwards, the flirting and the freshmen came through, but when the 5th limit chime rang, no one would pass. Until the 8th limit was over, nothing would be done.

I didn't have an afternoon lecture, me and Yamazaki, Otake left a message, and the chime finally rings.

The other members meet up and it is finally a solicitation start.

Gradually, there are more freshmen in the courtyard.

Someone who quickly finds the circle you're looking for and travels early enough. Someone who carefully looks at each place and walks.

The courtyard became cluttered in no time.

We also raise our voices and solicit DVD footage.

I guess the bike still catches my eye. More freshmen stop and go than expected.

Few people just try to get explanations only in circles where biking and licensing are still mandatory.

Still, if you're interested, that's fine.

"So? You just joined the faithful? That's too tight, isn't it?

For some reason, I make fun of believers who have just taken a lunch break to join the solicitation with a handheld sign.

"Ugh, no, that's, uh, I got into the circle because of it, and I want to get used to it quickly, and uh"

"Kubo, he said he has a boyfriend..."

"Seriously?!

"... I didn't hear you talking."

"Brother Hiro, you're being mean."

I'm sorry, I'm smiling.

"Yo, you trying so hard?"

"Are you serious?

Seniors Takao and Okazaki came to see how things were going when the faithful and I were screwed.

Senior Zhaoxiong gives me the bag in his hand.

The contents are cold drinks. Being as attentive as ever.

I don't think I'll be able to drink for a while because of my clothes...

"Why? How you doing?"

"So far, Sister's brother just walked in."

Answer Senior Okazaki's question with a shoulder to shoulder.

"Nice to meet you," the faithful with their gaze bowed their heads.

"Wouldn't it be better if the joiners came from the first day?

Senior Zhaoxiong says happily.

There are still a few freshmen looking at the bike with interest.

Yamazaki and the others have also spoken out to the people who have stopped, saying that they can join without a license now, and that they can give advice by obtaining a license or a motorcycle.

Anyway, it's important for you to be interested.

Even my junior Nomura didn't have a license when he came to Circle.

"... well, if Kent's on a motorcycle too, why don't you come in"

"Bacca, I'm a runner, okay? It's a null circle. I'm not interested."

I heard a group of boys freshmen on the street telling them to make a fool of themselves as they looked at us sideways.

Senior Okazaki's eyes get rough.

I'm sure it's a warm circle though, so I listen.

The way you think is different, and it's not like you can't get in.

"I don't want to run with a motorcycle that just looks more or less like Bonneville or 1300 SuperFour."

... you say that?
