King of Hollywood

Chapter 143: Returning to Public Vision

At the beginning, under the bright street lights, the ancient narrow streets appeared deep and dark. At this time, the sky had not yet completely darkened. In the middle of the classical high-rise, the sky with dark ink and blue, which made the already quiet streets even colder. Fortunately, a pair of couples come and go, along with the intense light coming out of the store and the roaming music, adding a lot of liveliness, contradiction and unity to the street.

“What did you just say? There are streets like this everywhere?” Monica giggled, slightly drunk, dressed in a long dress and silk coat, with long, floating hair.

“At least in Europe,” Adrian wrapped around her waist, "I know what you're trying to say, Monica, but I didn't include America from the beginning, so you're useless. ”

“I knew you'd say that, and you deliberately led me astray.” Monica sighed and said that her upper body rested almost entirely on Adrian, so she walked a little clammy, and the heels of the high heels struck the masonry floor in an irregular manner, making a cluttering sound.

Adrian touched her face and she stopped talking, and the two hugged each other along the curved streets to the wide streets. The glittering neon lights come to the forefront of the night in Paris.

“I'm going back.” Lean your head against Adrian's shoulder and look at Monica in the street and say,

Italy or Los Angeles? ”Adrian caressed her hair and asked.

“Los Angeles, of course. I was invited to a business event.” Monica looked up at him and replied.

“That's good. It's good to get more visibility by participating in similar events and increasing your exposure.” Adrian pinched her chin and said.

Monica looked at him and suddenly held Adrian's face and kissed him hard in the mouth. The grunting sounds were loud and intense, but no one passing them cared, not even the amazing look of the gods. Couples kissing so hard are everywhere on the streets of Paris.

The kiss lasted for a few minutes, and at the end of the separation, Monica's face was red, and the whole person was almost soft on Adrian with a big mouthful of breath, and she didn't know if it was more oxygen deprivation or more * * reasons.

They held each other for a while, and Adrian just said, “Let's walk back, it's not far from the hotel. ”

Restored a little Monica's low sigh and held his arm without saying a word.

“By the way, your Italian food is doing well.” Two steps later, Adrian suddenly said so.

“I've only done it two or three times.” Monica looked up and wondered why he suddenly mentioned this.

“Well, judge for yourself, how it compares to an average chef.” Adrian continued with a smile, "You taste it, don't you? ”

“Of course not, cooking takes a lot of kung fu.” Monica frowned.

“I think you can take the time to flip through the recipes, read the autobiographies of famous chefs, and think in your head about what the next chef looks like when he cooks, what he looks like when he rests, and what he looks like when he mixes work and life.” Adrian made a gesture.

It wasn't until he saw Monica's eyebrows wrinkle deeper that he uncovered the mystery: “My new film for you is a story about the chef and the kitchen, don't ask the specifics, there's only one outline left, but I'm sure it'll be a good one. And before you do, you have to get familiar with everything in the kitchen - let your broker help you arrange to be an apprentice in the kitchen of a restaurant for a few days. ”

“A story about the chef and the kitchen?” Monica said it with interest a few times.

“Yes,” Adrian nodded, "by the end of the year, you'll see the script, and I'll tailor the character for you, and I want you to shine in Hollywood."

Listen to him, Monica doesn't talk anymore, just her arms tighter.

To be honest, Adrian didn't want Monica to leave right now, and he knew that the so-called business invitation was just an excuse. But the problem is, because the Tango clip from Smell the Woman attracted all the British entertainment reporters, big and small, to the studio, he is now being watched by all these guys and treated like a complete star.

Their dates in London have been quite covert, with Monica appearing only twice in the studio, and the employees thought she was on her way. After all, this is the first time these Brits have worked together, and God knows if they're gonna sell the news to those tabloids for money? Besides, Emma would come and haunt him even though her aunt had reduced the number of times she went out.

Therefore, when so many journalists gather around, it is naturally inconvenient to go back and forth with Monica. The reason why they came to Paris this weekend was because they almost got photographed by a reporter when they were traveling. If stabbed out, there must be some uncontrollable situation.

Monica understands that, and that's why she volunteered to go back, Adrian acquiesced in her approach. Although he did not care what journalists or public opinion said, there were certain things that had to be considered. Sooner or later, it shouldn't be now. The fire isn't here yet.

After sending Monica out of Paris, Adrian returns to London and begins to focus on her annoying flies. The late progress of Howard Manor has been completed and is expected to be completed after Halloween, so these guys can't be disturbed by normal work.

“Don't worry, you'll find out. Just be patient, okay? After all this time, why do you care about waiting for more moments?” When the number of journalists blocked outside the studio increased to more than a dozen, and all over the region, Adrian finally broke the silence and responded with a small response.

Although he did not respond to questions such as "Why did he suddenly broadcast such footage after it had been refrigerated for so long”, "Whether the new film was not progressing well and wanted to divert attention from the previous work”, and "Whether he did not feel confident and wanted to test the previous film”, this small response was still exciting for journalists.

Later, two very different statements appeared in the newspaper, one that thought Adrian Victory Tickets was in hand and would surprise everyone at the next time, most of which was in the American media; although they had made quite a mockery of Adrian a few months earlier because of the style of the film, they stood by him after everything that had happened at Howard Manor.

On the other hand, 90 per cent of the British media held the view that Adrian was making a fool out of himself to cover up his anxiety; instead, he had been ridiculed once by the last Howard Manor incident, and there was no reason to change his mind just because of a film clip.

So, inevitably, the collision of the two perspectives began again, and so many perspectives became so diverse that they attracted a lot of attention. And Adrian, the founder of all this, simply hid in the studio. Kate and Monica weren't there anyway, and the little guy was discouraged by him because of the current number of reporters, so he simply moved to the studio, and the reporters couldn't go in there and chase after him, could they?

Although most of his energy was devoted to the later stages of Howard Manor, Adrian focused on outside news and took advantage of the opportunity to play tango clips to attract the public's attention to "Smell the Fragrant Woman," which was part of the publicity plan. For various reasons, the film had to be released before Howard's End, naturally within public view. Of course, if the box office is not pursued, a little publicity would be fine, as long as it is favoured by critics. It's just, is there a movie company that can't get past the box office?

Adrian and LaVerne agreed a long time ago, and now that it has attracted attention again, it won't be long before the trailer comes out. Adrian is very relieved to have LaVerne in charge of propaganda.

Besides, he has a lot of other things to pay attention to, the little guy won't say anything. Although he is currently at home, he has to sneak out to see her from time to time, otherwise he has to be unhappy on the phone ah keep screaming.

And then there was the preparation of Real Lies and the Philadelphia Story, and Cameron and Damy didn't know the whole movie as thoroughly as he did, and it took them a lot of time to make one. Especially Cameron, with his brilliant personality, I'm afraid he won't be able to turn it on by the end of the year. It's Damy, isn't it, Danzer? Washington and Tom? Hanks, nice work.

As for the Schindler List, with Adrian's point, Spielberg had flew to Poland after two months of preparation, but he could not turn it on for a moment and a half, and Polish film scene affairs alone would be enough for him to have a headache.

These are just some of the things about the script, like the first time he faxed back the outline of the script for Monica and asked the company's writer to supplement it.

Delicious Emotions, a film chosen by Adrian for Monica, was well received by Germany and Italy in '01. The American version that was re-shot a few years later, although not very well received, got a good box office, and the romantic comedy movie was not very tough on the actor's acting, so it would be perfect to have Monica play one of the beautiful chefs. And the reason the rehearsal version was sickened is because the plot and the original version were too close to novel, so if you find a director who understands Adrian's intentions, the movie might well be called and called.

Besides this, another script is basically almost finished.
