In a previous life, the Legend of Night series, as an investment in a medium to low film, was quite successful, at least partially loyal. But this series is the most talked about, it's background setting, it's urban warfare between vampires and werewolves, it's the actress Kate, and as for the plot... what is it?

Well, that's a little over the top, the plot is still there and it's basically consistent, but it's not particularly detailed, it's simply putting Romeo and Juliet on top, and the money is limited, and the focus is on the cg and the action, so I had to spill dog blood on the plot. It's not that stories don't spill dog blood, but it takes some kung fu to get the audience to accept it. For example, "You jump, I jump” on the Titanic, or "You're gonna die in a warm big bed, not here," everyone admits it's bloody, but Cameron is a box office that the audience can accept and earn $2 billion worldwide.

So changing the story is inevitable, Adrian replaced the male lead with a little girl. If it's still limited to the original frame, it's not easy to change it to look good, but if you jump out and redesign the plot, you can let go of your hands and feet, and besides, if you're a little girl, you can't spill dog blood? Maybe it'll spill better.

The story continues, Selena quickly catches up with the werewolf, and then there is another fierce battle in a wretched mall, and both sides show their minds with no hesitation. Selena was fine, but her eyes turned blue and revealed sharp teeth. But the werewolves look much bigger, and because they have enough money, they basically do fine things with their hair.

The battle is still a matter of speed and power, and although vampires are no less powerful than werewolves - at least by design - it feels a little unreal for a woman to punch a guy about twice her size. Although this is an unrealistic work, it is too exaggerated and not very good.

Although the werewolf had done his utmost to stop the most powerful dark night walker in the vampire, he was not an opponent and ended up with two silver spinning darts on his body, falling out and smashing a large piece of glass and laying dying on the ground. But just as Selena tried to fix him, she suddenly killed a more ferocious transformed werewolf. Almost as big as the one who fell on the ground, but more flexible, more agile and more war-torn.

Selena suffered a loss for the first time since she appeared, suddenly she was completely suppressed under guard, and finally flew out. However, despite her immediate jump and fearless gesture, the other party did not seem to intend to engage her too much and stare at her slit mouth with a cold smile. The wounded werewolf lifted up the floor and left.

This is basically the end of the opening act, and the next one begins to give a rough but comprehensive picture of the two races. Vampires are still largely intact from their traditional image, mysterious, elegant, luxurious and obsolete. The only thing that doesn't fit in is the little smile. It's like Selena, the head of a machine's dark night walker.

On their side, the troika continues to rotate in power and parliament, but unlike the original version, vampires are divided into hawks and pigeons because the werewolves have been slightly strengthened. After all, werewolves can't handle the problem of fanaticism. But they can act during the day, which is more conducive to their integration into human society, so as long as they run a business, they should never be much weaker than vampires.

Of the three giants, Marcus doesn't care. Victor's a hawk. Amelia is a pigeon. Although Emilia is currently in power, she is practically half-empty, Serena, the head of the Dark Night Walker, is Victor's adopted daughter, and her second character, Klein, is an ambitious man who wants to take over.

Of course, Emilia's so-called pigeon pie was just giving them something as a master after the truce with the werewolves, which she thought was enough for the werewolves who were vampire slaves centuries ago. So you can imagine how ridiculous this peace is.

These are background settings, revealing parts of the story in a variety of ways, and then letting the audience assemble the prototype themselves, and the mainline plot is still moving steadily forward. Serena, who returned to the site, questioned the werewolf because he was very similar to Lucien, the former werewolf leader documented in the file, while at the same time going to the weapons owner to ask about the ultraviolet bullets that the lower werewolf had used.

This is also one of the most interesting parts of the Legend of Night series, which uses scientific methods to explain vampire and werewolf production and why vampires are allergic to ultraviolet light while werewolves are allergic to silver. As can be seen from the self-portrayal of the two races in the original version of the brief, unfortunately it did not last, after all it was a medium investment commercial film.

Although Adrian had been strengthened when he wrote the novel, he could not see anything in the film. It's true, after all, that movies and novels are two different carriers, and as I said before, reading - < > - feels that there's something in front that's confusing, that you can flip back and reread, but you can't go back and reread movies in the cinema.

Returning to the movie, while Selena's main focus was on the relationship between that giant werewolf and Lucien, she wondered why both sides were competing for that little human girl. And then they turned around, and they came to the werewolves, and they were talking about the escape of the prey.

“I am disappointed, gentlemen, and I am disappointed that we took the great risk of finally letting the target escape through the help of some but fail at the last minute. I am disappointed.” Lucien, who seemed wild, stared at his men in the middle of his old lobby and said so.

Neither one of his men dared to chew, nor did he personally save the black man, who was also a close friend of his, and came out of it after the bandage: "Sorry, head. ”

In the face of a sudden werewolf, the little girl had a panicked expression and shrunk into the corner, but she still looked basically irrelevant until Serena showed up single-handedly after receiving the information. This is a cliché, but as long as the rhythm is good, the audience likes to see it. Not to mention, Adrian heard Lily relieve herself when Selena broke into the window.

Naturally, it was another big war, with guns, fists and feet, swords, dark instruments, and turns. As one of the biggest selling points of the film, the kung fu in this area was quite good, whether it was stepping on the wall or kicking or shooting style of martial arts. Of course, the best part is the Lucien duel in the Selena and People form, a standard duel of speed and power.

This battle Adrian paid special attention to, and passed with the motion guidance from the Hong Kong side, in short, to fight fast, but not fast enough to be seen, some similar to the last round table against the base of a kung fu film in the future. In this way, coupled with the fact that the cutting takes place, the scene is naturally separate and beautiful.

“I don't know, they… always draw my blood… one tube after another…” Although the little girl remains indifferent, the tone of fear is very obvious, and closing her eyes seems afraid to recall.

Cold as Selena was also slightly moved, it seemed like something buried for a long time was starting to loosen up, and it took a while before she said, “It's safe here. Stay here and nobody will hurt you. ”

The little girl soon fell asleep, and Selena stood by the window for a long time, in the dark light transmitted in from the outside, even though her face was still cold. But the audience knew that she must have turned her back on her mind. Finally, she walked to the sleeping little girl and looked at her silently. Her face gradually softened and a picture passed through the lens.

That's what she used to look like as a human being, a happy, medieval little girl, and her parents bathing in the sun. Poverty is happy.

The director did a very good job here, and the whole movie was dominated by a cold hue because vampires were the main characters, and the overall shade was wet, even though the vampire grounds had a brilliant colour, just to highlight their Gothic decadence. But when Selena started remembering, the color began to warm up, like the winter sun. It still feels warm, even though it seems out of reach.

Selena's face also slowly thawed, her eyes slightly squeezed, revealing a hint of heartfelt, palpitating pity. Throughout the movie, the actress didn't have many expressions, and most of the time she was cold and pretending to be cool, like a killing machine, so the few expressions were incredibly attractive. And Kate used to rely on the movies that Adrian had prepared for her to accumulate in the act, which erupted at this moment, together with the person who became a mother, and the emotion was naturally extraneous, the silent yet extraneous intensity of the underlying maternal scent, which easily exposed Selena's inner world to the audience and resonated.

“Wonderful, Kate, the infectivity of this moment, let alone the commercial films, which are the smaller * * films.” Adrian spoke in Kate's ear.

It is not inappropriate to use love to transform the actress, but it is a bit abrupt to use this technique in movies where the main selling point for this business category is action. Anyway, although it was Victor who killed her family and turned her into this, Selena was a vampire family after all, because love betrayed her race, and if there was enough padding, it would give more or less of a feeling of unfamiliar white-eyed wolf, which the audience might not realize, but it would always leave such an impression unconsciously.

Not to mention, in the background, Selena has lived almost a thousand years, so easily to move for a man, this dog's blood spilled too low. This medium investment commercial film rarely has a taste, even if it has a taste, it has a lot of echo action, cg, first because unlike literary films can resonate emotionally, and second, details are difficult to withstand.

So instead of working on love, let's get to the idea of being close to each other, with an unfortunate little girl to pull her memories from the heart, her innate motherhood, wake her up to the human side, and then later reveal that Victor was the killer of her family, betrayal becomes even more plausible.
