Chapter 574 - 294: The New Owner of Giant Stone River Heritage Farm! (Part 2)
When Lin Yu’an and his family stepped off the plane, Arthur immediately greeted them with a beaming smile. Behind him followed two brand-new Land Rover Defenders.
Arthur’s voice was full of enthusiasm: "Mr. Lin! Welcome, welcome to your future kingdom! The journey must have been tiring, right?"
"It was okay, the scenery was nice," Lin Yu’an shook hands with him and replied casually.
Arthur exclaimed sincerely: "It’s more than nice, it’s a miracle! You’re the first client to personally fly a Turbo Beaver from Alaska for an inspection. Your flying skills and your financial strength are equally admirable."
After some simple pleasantries, Arthur showcased his professionalism and meticulous care as a top-notch agent. He made a gesture of "please," leading them toward a large off-road RV parked beside the tarmac, resembling a mobile palace.
Arthur smiled and said: "Mr. Lin, your legal and financial teams have completed all online due diligence over the past few days. All you need to do today is personally feel whether this land meets your ultimate vision of ’home.’"
"This RV will be your mobile castle today. It’s equipped with a chef and a nanny to take care of all the needs of the two ladies and the children. We can stop at any time to have a coffee and enjoy the view."
"Very well, Arthur." Lin Yu’an nodded in satisfaction, "This arrangement is perfect. Let’s get started then."
The family boarded the top-tier off-road RV that was like a mobile palace. As soon as the door closed, the harsh cold of the outside twilight was completely shut out. Inside, it was as warm as spring, with a faint scent of leather and coffee in the air.
A professional driver took the driver’s seat, while Arthur sat in the front passenger seat. Lin Yu’an and his family comfortably settled on the genuine leather couch in the back, akin to flying in the first class of a private jet, enjoying the view through the giant panoramic sunroof and bulletproof glass windows.
The RV slowly started, traveling along the well-maintained gravel roads within the ranch, beginning a unique kingdom tour.
"Mr. Lin, Lady Aliya, Ms. Emily," Arthur’s voice came through clearly, filled with passion and pride.
"Welcome to the Giant Stone River Heritage Ranch. In the next few hours, I will show you the soul of this land. Our first stop is the heart of this kingdom—the Giant Stone River."
The RV slowly stopped beside a higher ground along the riverbank. Below was the famous Giant Stone River, which was now a completely different sight.
The river was no longer rushing; it lay silently in the valley like a giant dragon frozen by time. The thick white snow covering the ice completely concealed the water’s trace.
"Mr. Lin, what you see now is the winter form of the Giant Stone River. Although the river’s surface is frozen, this is precisely the proof of its most precious value."
He brought up a video on his tablet, showing footage of the river rushing with trout in abundance taken in the summer.
As he played the video, he explained, "In the summer, this frozen dragon will awaken."
"This is a top-notch blue-ribbon trout river, with twelve miles of private water, meaning from the spring thaw to the autumn freeze, every plump trout in this river will be your personal property."
"Moreover," he pointed to the solid ice outside the window, "in winter, this frozen river becomes a natural white highway."
"You can drive snowmobiles and all-terrain vehicles, allowing you to reach those remote corners inaccessible by vehicle in the summer for a unique winter experience."
The RV moved forward, leaving the valley and starting to climb toward the higher mountain meadows.
"Now, we’ve entered the granary of the kingdom—the winter pasture area."
Before them lay a vast meadow covered in pristine white snow. At the edge of the distant forest, several small hills of dried hay were visible, prepared long in advance for livestock for the winter.
Covered with thick winter coats, Angus cattle and magnificent Quarter Horses gathered at the wind-sheltered slopes, leisurely chewing on the hay provided by the ranch workers, their breath visible in the chilling air.
Arthur introduced: "This area is about five thousand acres. In the summer, this is a protein-rich alpine pasture. In winter, it becomes our primary winter pasture."
"The Giant Stone River organic beef produced on the ranch, due to the unique winter feeding method, has more evenly distributed fat and is sold by the ounce in top restaurants in Jackson Hole."
At this moment, a commotion arose at the edge of the distant forest.
A herd of large elk cautiously emerged from the woods, approaching nearby the hay distribution point, trying to share some winter food. The cattle seemed accustomed to these uninvited guests and did not drive them away.
"Do you see that, Mr. Lin," Arthur’s tone carried a hint of awe, "That’s the miracle of the Yellowstone Ecosystem! In the harsh winter, we not only care for our livestock but also leave a hope for survival for these wild neighbors."
"You are not only the future owner of this land but also its guardian!"
Lin Yu’an was relaxed throughout, focusing more on observing Aliya and Emily’s reactions. He saw on their faces a sincere love for this land.
