This process was filled with gamesmanship and challenges. But Lin Yu’an’s strong aura and patience eventually made these three unruly hunting dogs fully submit.

When Lin Yu’an visited the base for the last time before leaving China, what he saw was a scene that comforted him.

Kimberly, Rum, and Shirley, under the supervision of the dog trainer, were on the same lawn with several other dogs. Though they still kept their distance, there was no longer any aggressive behavior.

"Teacher Lin, the method you showed us is indeed effective, much faster than our traditional training methods!" The chief dog trainer sincerely admired.

"I just returned them to the way they should be," Lin Yu’an said with a smile.

Meanwhile, a complex list of documents regarding international transportation of dogs was also fully completed.

"The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) health certificates are ready," the team leader reported to Lin Yu’an, "ISO-standard microchips have been implanted."

"Rabies and other necessary vaccines have all been completed, with full records."

"The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) approval for dog entry permits has also been granted."

"For transportation, your private jet has finished cabin reinforcement and customized installations for the dog carriers."

"Not bad, you all are very efficient," Lin Yu’an succinctly commented.

...

April 1, 2022.

After wrapping up all domestic matters and signing the final confidentiality agreement, Lin Yu’an and his team boarded a private jet from Shanghai Pudong International Airport to Anchorage, Alaska.

It was a modified Bombardier Global 7500, with a spacious cabin that included two large crates specifically designed for dogs.

After a month of professional conditioning and psychological reconstruction, Kimberly, Rum, and Shirley had shed the unease they initially displayed.

They lay quietly in their carriers, peering with clear eyes through the vents, curiously observing this brand new world.

Kimberly’s gaze was particularly steady, its eyes always following Lin Yu’an’s figure with trust.

After a flight of more than ten hours, the plane landed smoothly on Anchorage’s private airstrip.

As Lin Yu’an and his group stepped out of the cabin and inhaled the familiar frigid air of Alaska, a figure in a thick down vest had been waiting on the tarmac for some time.

It was Max.

She still wore that hearty and unruly smile, her golden hair billowing in the cold wind.

She approached first to embrace Aliya and Emily, then curiously played with the nearly one-and-a-half-year-old twins bundled up like little bears.

Finally, she gave Lin Yu’an a sweet hug.

"Welcome home." She gently patted Lin Yu’an’s back.

Her gaze fell on the three hunting dogs just led out of the carriers, curiously exploring their surroundings.

This time, Kimberly did not sound a warning. It simply stood tall, using its intelligent eyes to scrutinize this stranger with a benevolent and strong aura.

"Hey, you look pretty cool," Max smiled, slowly extending her hand.

Lin Yu’an did not stop it.

Kimberly hesitated for a moment, but finally stepped forward, gently touching Max’s palm with its wet nose.

"It seems your transformation plan was quite successful," Max said in surprise.

"Just the first step," Lin Yu’an smiled, "The next challenge is teaching them to coexist peacefully with December and Amber, those two giants."

"Ha! That should be interesting to watch!" Max laughed heartily.

That evening, a sumptuous reunion dinner was held in the penthouse suite of a luxury hotel in Anchorage City center.

Max showcased her impressive culinary skills, with sizzling Alaskan king salmon, butter-seared scallops, and a large steaming pot of seafood chowder, all exuding tempting aromas in the grand American kitchen.

Meanwhile, Aliya and Emily spread a soft carpet in the living room for the twins, allowing them to have their first cautious interaction with the equally curious three big dogs.

Kimberly was completely relaxed, lying quietly in a corner of the carpet like a silent guardian, watching the toddling little humans.

While Rum and Shirley were full of curiosity about the toy balls thrown by the children, occasionally chasing and bringing them back.

During dinner, Lin Yu’an finally shared with them his wild and ambitious new plan.

Aliya took a sip of the seafood chowder Max handed her, "...So, the Changbai Mountain and Mount Siguniang projects are temporarily on hold. Your next battleground is the ocean?"

"You’ll need some time, perhaps months, possibly longer, to undergo the most professional systematic training?"

"Yes, dear," he looked at the three women, his eyes showing a hint of apology. "This means I’ll be away from home again for a while. I don’t know how to arrange for you..."

Before he could finish, Max was the first to laugh and interrupt him.

"Arrange for us? Darling, have you forgotten we’re not canaries in need of your arrangements."

She speared a piece of succulent salmon, nonchalantly saying, "You just go ahead with your crazy plans, I’ll personally oversee the construction of the December home."
