[Towards the North...] Fire Hero

Agni, the Spirit of Fire, and the two of them traveled in the sky more harshly than they could have imagined, frozen to death in the cold wind.

The compass went mad right after we left. Even so, it kept flying in the direction of Agni.

As the wind continued to fly toward the north, I could see something faintly white beyond the sea. Going there, there was drifting ice.

Even though it was spring, it still seemed to remain undissolved.

I sometimes see black spots when I look at drifting ice from the sky. Agni told me that it was a monster called Milonga. Agni knows everything.

"Eat to live."

Agni told me. I haven't had much appetite since I left the desert. I didn't have much food, so I ate last two days ago.

The food I have now is a bag of barremo and a bunch of rotten spinach. Just a little smoked meat. It will be gone in a few days.

The altitude of the new flying ship was lowered and it gradually approached drifting ice. The Milonga swarm barked intimidatingly at us.

Perhaps it was because I was hungry and my senses were sharpened, with the magic blade of fire. Milonga's neck was skipped.

The other Milongas who saw it all ran off towards the clearing on the drifting ice and dived into the sea.

Anchor the flying ship on drifting ice and retrieve the Milonga meat. The body of the Milonga is large, and it seems that there are about three adults of the Milonga tribe. Since I don't want the flying ship to get dirty, I decided to dismantle the milonga on drifting ice.

I put the knife into Milonga's throat forcefully and tear it all the way to my tail. The steam is rising from the body of the Milonga that lived until now. My breath is white, too.

I will take what I can eat without leaving any internal organs and blood. Agni said it was a courtesy to the monsters he had defeated.

Over time, your fingertips become harder to move and harder to dismantle.

But I managed to dismantle it by myself. There's nothing wrong with using magic, but I don't know when I'm going to run out of magic when I'm hungry, so I tried not to use my magic as much as I could.

Return to the flying ship, leaving only bones and skins behind.

The sun was already falling, so I decided to spend the night on the drifting ice for the time being. Ever since I left the desert, I wanted to rest Agni, who had been flying all the way through the sky and was the power source.

As I slowly roasted the milonga meat in the flying ship's cooking area, I could see the monsters approaching with their detection skills.

If a flying ship gets attacked and breaks down, the end of the first volume.

When I came out on the deck to see what was happening, I saw a fox monster with pure white hair crushing on the bones of the dismantled milonga. After a while, I started chewing up my bones with my powerful jaw.

There's no sign of coming after us. I also got enough meat, so I don't want to attack either.

However, even though I kept seeing the monster eating the monster's bones, my appetite grew for some reason.

The smell of beast spread through my mouth as I shook salt on the baked milonga meat. But I haven't eaten for two days, so I eat another bite.

I told Agni, "Would you like some?" I asked.

“I prefer something that burns. What if we split it up with that Snowfox?"

I returned it.

A slice of baked milonga meat was thrown in front of a white fox monster called Snowfox. Snowfox sniffed the smell and then put it in his mouth, and in a few seconds it was flattened with a perori. I've seen it with low eyes, but I don't know how long it will take to get to the Arctic. Moreover, when I got to the Arctic continent, I couldn't give it any more because I didn't know if there was a place for people to live.

“I'm sorry, I can't give you any more.”

When I said that, Snowfox squeaked into the sky as a thank-you, "Corn."

Whether that was triggered by the sound or whether I hadn't seen the sky before, the dark sky was shaking with a green flame like a veil.

"This is... Agni! Agni!"

When Agni was called, a small flame broke out from inside the ship and looked up into the sky.

"Magnetic storm. So you didn't know the direction. It's beautiful."

So Agni was on my shoulder.

I was looking up at the sky, feeling the warmth of Agni.

The next morning, the compass was back to normal.
