Kumo Desu ga, Nani ka?
38 Spider VS Bee ①
On the first day I slept building the minimal nest I needed.
It was hard to say I was able to fall asleep because of the pain in my back, but I was horrified there because I was never raided while I was asleep.
When I woke up safely, I was relieved heartily, not only because of the raid, but also because of the injury.
When I checked my HP, it was the same as before I went to bed 6.
Whether we should be discouraged that we haven't recovered, or relieved that we haven't lost any more, is a subtle point.
The second day spent a day expanding the nest.
I also had back pain and nesting was harder to navigate than I thought.
Bees come so close so many times that every time I was alert and stopped working hands.
Unlike before, the work while vigilant around polished nerves.
Between them we ate a little bee that we caught yesterday, taking care not to run out of stamina.
In this situation, there is also a risk that the balance will tilt at once if even one thing is cut.
Especially since I am highly dependent on stamina.
I have stamina to yarn out and to act normal.
Even if it isn't, I have to leave at least enough stamina to fight.
Besides, I don't know if I can secure food after this, and if I was prepared for a protracted war, I would have had to be cautious about managing stamina.
And it turns out on this day that the level of pain tolerance was jumping all at once.
The last time the level of pain tolerance was raised, there should certainly have been only two levels, but the heavenly voice (tentative) heard in the midst of building a nest,
"Proficiency reached a certain level. Skill 'Pain Resistant LV6' has become 'Pain Resistant LV7'
And I was soaking between them and all of a sudden I was at seven levels.
I thought about what you meant, but I think maybe you were on a level while you were asleep.
If it was all that hard to sleep, and the rising proficiency conditions in pain tolerance are that you are suffering, it is likely that you were accumulating proficiency even as you slept.
In retrospect, I also feel like I heard a heavenly voice (tentative) in my dream manifestation.
So, I figured it out, if I thought it was pain tolerance, a skill that would relieve me of my pain perfectly, I wouldn't be.
I thought it was strange because the level should have gone up to 7, but it never pulled the pain, but apparently this skill, "I can move with patience for pain".
Honestly subtle.
It hurts, but it's no different, and even if you say you can move, there are limits.
When I got my skills, I felt the pain pulled off, but it seemed like I was just really feeling it.
Pain tolerance rose to level 8 over the next day.
Day three.
I've already eaten up the bee I caught.
The nest could have expanded considerably, and we have to move to the next stage in earnest.
i.e. hunting to increase the level.
The question is, how do we capture the prey?
Bees come close, but you're on guard about this one, they're not coming at you.
If you attacked me helplessly, that was the bump I thought, but it didn't work out that well.
In the meantime, wait for a chance and take a peek at the bees.
I even tried to provoke the bees that came nearby, but they didn't hit me.
There are a few things I found out by observing bees.
First of all, they're basically forming one squad of five or six.
Divided into teams, each acting.
The squad has a leader.
"Failed to appraise High Finge Goat LV1 status"
They say it's a high Findgoat.
It's a superior species by name, maybe an evolved individual.
Levels are more or less 1, and that's likely.
Normal breed bees also have eight or nine levels inside and an individual that seems to be one step ahead of evolution, and if they evolve, they can be the leader of the squad.
Captain bees are slightly darker in color than flat bees.
That's about the difference, the same size and shape.
I don't know the status because the appraisal hasn't been successful, but I think there are only the top species and they are higher than flat bees.
Well, I still don't think you can break through my net.
I don't think they're putting an extra bite on us because they understand that too.
Thinking about it, maybe that bee is pretty smart.
The squad comes together and disappears into the aisle at the bottom of the vertical hole.
After a while, I'll tailor my prey and bring it back.
Yeah, he's doing it. He's forming a team, and he seems to be hunting efficiently.
I knew you seemed smart.
Some detached bees may be acting on their own.
More importantly, there are demons at this bottom where bees can hunt as well.
I mean, not all of us are like dragons.
Even if I just found that out, I can pretty much afford it in my heart.
Still, there may be squads that won't come back, so you can't be alarmed.
Doesn't come back, which means it was payback.
Some of the returning squads were carrying the carcasses of their people, and it's definitely a dangerous area.
I kept observing the bees.
