Lesson 39: The Dragon King

After reports that fifteen thousand soldiers were out of battle than Virginia, heading straight for Daedalus, the king rose from the throne.

The king's name appears to be Garvinal, a grand human grand man large enough to reach two metres in length, but he is a genuine dragon.

Health magic, dragons that stand alongside other races, and black dragons who are said to possess strong powers are the species of Garvinal.

Among the dragons of basically thorough individualism, Garvinal had the ambition to rule everything, like the ancient emperor who once built a great empire in a generation to rule the entire Pandora continent.

And now in the middle of realizing that ambition, what Garvinal is most interested in right now is the city state Sparda, which refrains ahead beyond the Galahad Mountains, a powerful country ruled by Leonhardt, the sword king with equal power to himself.

He didn't even have teeth about a legion of humans coming from across the ocean.

However,

"I didn't expect to send out soldiers despite all that advice... was I dumber than I thought?

It's troublesome, but we have to beat him out of Pandora alone, or we're not going to hell, not in a human home. "

If we were to head to Daedalus again, the story would change, and Garvinal had no intention of leaving the country at the earliest, and was determined to destroy Virginia.

But what will happen soon, besides Garvinal, was predictable in the upper layers of Daedalus.

Since about a month ago, there were frequent large vessels entering and leaving Virginia, with information that large quantities of human beings and supplies were being transported.

It was clear to everyone that both humans would not accept the exit request and would soon be in counter-attack operations.

Garvinal thought it would be easier to kick Daedalus if he didn't interfere with the ship coming to Virginia because he still didn't have a navy, even if he didn't say how many people would gather to strike him out from the other side.

Starting with dragons, the Daedalus army is organized around species that look closer to monsters such as the Beast Man.

Attack and manoeuvre by assault are the strengths of the Daedalus army, and even if humans lead tens of thousands of soldiers, they will not break this in the field on the flat ground.

So no matter how much power Virginia has gathered, as long as the other side goes on offense, this one can prevent as much as it wants.

Virginia, which is supposed to be its stronghold, should also be crushed, but a fortress is being built that boasts a robust defense, and we must be prepared for some damage to drop this.

A Daedalus army of unparalleled strength in the field, but failed to take full advantage of its mobility, making it difficult to bring it into a short-term showdown.

As a result, Virginia was a stronghold with no offense but defense, and stopping to keep it sealed off was the least damaging way to go in the current situation.

For Garvinal, the opponent of the Daedalus army is not a Virginian person, but a city state county that hits the middle of the continent, starting with Sparta.

For Garvinal, who thinks of nearby Spartan attacks, he wants to avoid losing his power.

Garvinal thought it was possible for Daedalus' defensive forces alone to have enough human opponents, although it would take the form of leaving behind the worries of hindsight.

But as a result, humans struck out before leading their own troops into Sparta.

Laughs at the human bad luck of attacking at this time that if it weren't for me, I would still have been able to fight a little better.

Either way, it makes no difference that it is impossible for humans to defeat the Daedalus army.

"So let's go."

Garvinal heads to the main entrance of Daedalus Royal Castle.

Under his eyes, 20,000 Daedalus soldiers had already assembled, hardened themselves in black armor, waiting now for the decree to come out.

"More than this, I'm going to take on a foolish army of mortals, don't let one go home alive -"

Garvinal was changing from a tentatively early human form to a dragon that was what it was.

"- Get out of line!"

The decree of the outpost, Daedalus soldier 20,000, to be sent down with the roar, begins to march like an avalanche depressed.

Turning into a giant dragon with a pitch-black scale, Garvinal rises to the sky with his wings powerfully winged and gushing winds.

A flying dragon already under his command awaits over the sky and follows Garvinal to fly.

Goldran Hills, halfway between Daedalus and Virginia.

A fierce roar of dragons vowing a must-win wooded the city of Daedalus, and the soldiers headed to the land of the showdown.
