Kuro no Maou

Lesson 200: The First Trial

Night watches are still my business.

Among the small tents that were included in the 'rookie set' bought in the village of Iles, Lily and Fiona are sleeping side by side like sisters.

I never turn this down because they're cute.

Unlike my flesh, which is almost exhausting and irresistible, Fiona is purely human.

From Theory the Adventurer, it is natural to give many members of the class who exercise magic primarily a rest.

And since Lily is a child's flesh, she still needs more rest.

Lily has the strongest power of the Element Master, but it can also be said to be time-limited, or unstable in strength, only if she returns to her original appearance.

Normally Lily is also at a pretty high level from an adventurer's point of view, but given the case, she should always be in perfect condition to be able to transform into a girl Lily, because "Red Crystal Ball (Queen Beryl)" is not a versatile item with zero strain on her body.

With all that wackiness, I'm still on the lookout tonight.

The quiet time slowly passes as we define the place as a camp with only a few openings in the woods, staring at the blurry, sparkling fire in its center.

At times like this, I don't have time, but I'm developing improvements to black magic.

I'm working on a more powerful and efficient "Shadow Tentacle (Anchor Hand)" procedure, especially since I have a user-friendly "Black Hair Curse" coffin "besides my thoughts.

Are the various images springing up one after the other because my head is full, or the support of the brunette maid who lives in the glove?

By nightfall, you're going to get your thoughts together well, what a positive sentiment. At that time, I perceived the signs on the pretense.

That wasn't clear, it was my fault, but it was intuitive, but I looked up and into the back of the dark, deep woods that spread in front of me.

"What, this feeling..."

Even now, signs and magic perceptions are meant to be more sensitive than crowds.

With animosity and homicide, we can detect it, both monsters and humans, and such a feeling has been familiar since the time of the manoeuvre experiment.

But the ‘like signs' I now feel at this moment were strange things that do not belong to any sensation I have ever felt.

I turn my consciousness more carefully around to see what Sole is.

It was shortly after that that the change took place.

"... glowed?

Behind the woods, on the other side of my good, lucrative night vision, a faint red light lit up.

Even though it is small, it is certainly visible in this eye, not by mistake.

The mysterious red light, when I recognized it so, one prediction turned my head.

If you close your right eye to try it, the red light will remain afloat across the darkness unchanged.

But I closed my left eye, yes, the red eye, which is the ‘eye of God' that Mia gave me, and the light scratched out, as the candle fire was blown out.

"There, is there a trial?

I shrugged, but the disgraceful self-proclaimed God never showed up and never answered my query.

But even if you don't get a clear answer from her, you can still have a half-confirmed one. After all, beyond that red light, there is a 'trial’ waiting for you to get shelter.

Now, what should we do in this case? I don't even have to think about it, the answer is fixed.

"Fiona."

"Huh, what is it, Mr. Krono?

If you call to the tent, it sounds a little sleepy, but Fiona responds immediately.

"Hurry up and get here."

When I tried to get out,

Gawwwwwwwwww!!

Intense, vicious, and disastrous growls broke the silence of the night and roared.

Just one of those howls, I understood.

This roaring lord is stronger than any monster that has ever fought.

And he said that this monster crusade was the test I was framed for.

Shortly after we heard such a roar that we thought it sounded all over the Galahad Mountains, we acted fast.

Needless to explain, both Fiona and Lily realized that a powerful monster had emerged in this neighborhood.

When the fire is extinguished, the tent is sunk straight into 'Shadow Space (Shadow Gate)' and ready to leave.

When I briefly explained to the two of you that I would crusade monsters I had yet to see for the trial,

"You were originally looking to rank up to fight strong monsters, so you're lucky you showed up from the other side"

"Lily, do your best!

And I got the acknowledgement in two replies.

I wondered for a moment if it was something I could use my buddy's hand to fulfill and defeat the monster, but I can't help thinking about it.

Either way, we should focus more on gaining protection than half-heartedly, and more importantly, on being the experience of everyone at the party.

"So do you know where that monster is?

Normally, I don't know.

Because it requires the exercise of specialized magic, such as tracking the signs of a monster that is invisible, and I have not, of course, mastered Fiona or Lily.

But only this time, ‘God tells me’.

"Oh, follow me"

The little red light point shining behind the woods remained visible in my left eye.

And, behold, at the tip of that light,

"... you're not here"

The monster had no shadow or shape.

Dive into the shade of a tree and take a careful look at the vanished point of the red light, but there's just a strangely open, weedy, empty space there.

I wondered if this was a terribly embarrassing mistake on my part, and then Soitz showed up.

It appeared, rather than came down, but when I realized it, a giant monster, far over five meters high, descended into the middle of the vacant land.

"Wow, it's worth it..."

I wasn't freaked out by the vicious look of that black-haired and red-haired two-tone color.

What I intuitively felt sucked about was that it was such a giant thing that it appeared with little sign or sound.

Though physically fit enough at a glance to overpower even the Minotaur Zombie, its quiet appearance seems as sophisticated as that of an assassin (Assassin) in the darkness of the night.

That alone understands that this monster has the strength to draw a line with Rank 3 monsters and others that are instantly killed by Lily.

"You're a monster I've never seen."

Fiona quietly says to refrain next door.

"I've never seen it either, what about Lily?

Lily shakes her head full at my feet, too.

It's apparently a completely first-sighted monster.

Now, when I thought about how to attack, the two shadows jumped into the monster's waiting vacant space.

"Was there an adventurer"

"Weren't you being chased"

The two figures have lit a small 'light fire (torch)' around them, so the figure would have been clearly visible to Fiona and Lily.

One is a tall skinny man, on that familiar black blazer. The red cape is definitely the emergence of an executive candidate, as Simon taught.

I have an impressive monocle on the surface that looks like a nerve.

The other is a woman dressed brilliantly in an apron dress, perfectly made-to-measure from anywhere, and she's uncomfortable in this setting.

However, if you look at where she appeared with a dagger knife in both hands and leading an executive candidate boy student, she's probably not just a maid of honor, she's just an escort, just like she was hidden in this' brunette curse 'coffin'.

Finally, does that neat face feel more like an adult sister than a girl?

"Oh, is that what he says about being an adventurer on noble roads?

It's a nasty thing, and spicy words pop out of Fiona's honest mouth that don't lie.

Well, that's not what I feel good about watching from a legitimate adventurer.

"But I'm not too sneaky to abandon you"

If you notice, the maid activates a further 'Light Fire (Torch)' and brightens the whole perimeter to Russia.

The maid, who realizes the existence of the monster, even tries to let the Lord escape, step forward and bravely sets up a dagger knife.

The figure is not just a thing of form, I can still feel the brilliant set-up and temper that went into quite a hall from here on out, the escort maid doesn't seem to be Dada.

"I don't think I'll have time to think too slowly about the operation"

Whether she's a powerful person or not, I don't think she's going to fight a monster with long ears like this pump alone.

You won't get hit with a single blow, but you won't last long.

"So shall we shoot in one shot from here?

"No, I have a chance to ambush the corner, I want to be sure"

In my battle with the Eighth Apostle Eye, I recall the combo attack of the "Golden Sun (All Soleil)" from the confinement of the "Shadow Tentacle (Anchor Hand)", which I managed to succeed in until half.

Let's do it again this time, we don't know because it's the first time we see the power of the opponent, it's best to tap into the maximum firepower at once.

"But I don't have the means to prevent 'The Golden Sun (All Soleil)', so it's Lily who decides"

If you briefly convey my thoughts, you two will show an immediate understanding.

Well, it would be nice if we could take it down with this one shot...
