Kuro no Maou

Episode 243: Farren's Bandit

A week is about to pass since Nell and Shall were attacked by that creepy tentacle bastard, but this way when I take a trip to the dining room, I still think back and my chest feces get worse.

"What - Nero, are you still worried about that?

Kai, this swordsmanship idiot, seems to have made me look so confused and grumpy.

"Well."

I thought Nell said it was a misunderstanding.

"Fool, if you tell him, even criminals treat him like a good man."

Nell is too kind, so dull on the malice of others that it makes me anxious to watch from the side.

But I'm not going to say it badly, it's just a story that I, my brother, should protect, and I have been, and will always be, prepared to do so.

"I guess that's true"

Even a fool like this understands how nice you are to have Nell's dot on you.

"More importantly, I felt a disgusting sign of that man without interruption"

"What, were you that creepy?

No, that's not what I mean, when it comes to faces, I can say it's strong but pretty neat.

The problem is not the appearance of the surface.

"He didn't feel anything then."

Whether I held a nell of beauty in my chest that could be described as an extinct beauty, entangled Shall with my tentacles, and more importantly, this killing of me from the front, I didn't see any emotional swings in those black and red eyes.

If I had my hands on a beautiful girl like the two of us, there would have been little nasty peace of mind for a man to feel, I just hugged him because he was really about to fall over about Nell, and Charles just defended himself, and he just said that without a look on his face.

Even if I wanted to kill him, that bastard, he knew perfectly well that he couldn't be slashed for what Nell was standing in front of him, and he didn't even show a bare gesture of vigilance.

Rather than using tentacles, such an atmosphere of him was something creepy anyway.

"Heh, so Soitz is strong?

"You're not weak, maybe you just have the strength to fight on par with us."

"Oh, you're a sucker!

Unlike Kai, I'm not a wacko at Battlemania, and I'm not interested in that sense.

I'm not interested, but I'm curious, so I let him do a little research on that guy, Chrono and all.

"Hey Kai, do you know what an Element Master is?

"Rank three? I can't remember a thing like that."

I guess, it's only after Rank 4 that I can fight him out in earnest.

"Chrono's doing an adventurer at this party."

"Kuro's?

"That's the man's name, I told you earlier."

"Oh, uh, yeah, Chrono, I see. Is that the name?"

He's really bad at remembering people's names, but he must have caught a lot of interest because I said, "Maybe we can fight each other equally," and he won't forget it anymore.

"I hear this' Element Master 'was rank 1 until last month"

That's now rank three, just for a month. That's where they're both ranking up.

"Seriously, that's as high a pace as we are!

"Yes, obviously, with more than rank four, I'll start with rank one."

There's nothing to talk about when a rookie from the country actually has a great talent and ranks up at a high pace, but there's usually something going on.

Perhaps so are the two companions they call fairies and witches and such.

I don't even know what that Chrono holds, but there's definitely something behind him, that's what my well-hit score says.

No, or that he's going to do something...

"Will's guy's bragging about it lately. Something about a Berserker, apparently, is also about Chrono."

With us on the Larspun crusade and the whole school springing up, only Will's guy had a side that didn't float to see what happened.

I wasn't interested in the bastard's situation, so I didn't ask or look into it, but suddenly one day,

"All of you defeated that horrible larspun only if you had the great help of the Nightmare Mad Warrior (Nightmare Bursar Car) Lion Rapid, all you're trying to do is embezzle the prey of your hand, don't forget about it, Phew ha ha ha ha ha!!

Or something like that. I've said it with an awesome Doya face, but apparently, it means that Chrono fought Larspun and injured his hand.

I said what a fool you are. I thought that time I was watching Will get kicked in the ass by Shall, but I see, that guy might have the power to slash about one of Larspun's right arms.

"Well, I don't know how strong he is, but I'm pretty sure he's a bad bastard"

"Well, let's fight it once."

Oh, no, Chrono and I might get tangled up in the name of a duel by this fool soon.

Well, look, I hope Kai can bump me out then, or I'll be a little clearer too.

"Nevertheless, Shull's guy, call me about people late -"

"Sorry to keep you waiting, but I've found a new quest!

Rumor has it that Charles, the tenant who issued the decree to convene today's party, appeared.

He took Nell behind it and was probably accompanying him in his quest search for a guild.

Now we have four people in the dining room, which is the usual meeting place, but Safi is still absent from the lab today to make a new me (Simobe) out of Raspun material.

"So, what have you found?

Looking at the somewhat upbeat Shall, this must have found another troublesome quest, though slightly depressing, I decided to ask him.

"We had just the right thing to do, so I ordered it instantly!

You don't even have to talk to me.

"Um, sorry, brother, I really wanted to take this quest, too"

"Well, that's unusual."

I agree with Kai.

I can guess what Nell meant by pushing, but I greatly encouraged him to explain.

"Have you heard of any bandits who make a scene with Farren lately?

It has been a long time since the warring age of bandits and bandits stood up and fought among nations, but even in this peaceful time there, bandits and bandits will not be extinct.

Those scumbags are rambling around in good shape, what a rumor. One or two in any country, they occur regularly, just like a monster boils.

However, if we restrict ourselves to Farren, our neighbor to Sparta, we have not heard any particular rumors.

"You've never heard of a bandit who could give you a name."

"Yeah, this Farren guy's not even enough to name the Bandits."

A thief is not just a party, if it becomes an organization, it naturally takes one of its names, whether it is a self-proclaimed or a common name.

However, the fact that the name is known means that all the damage has been done is connected with equals.

Even if we named ourselves the great regiment, if we were crushed fast, we wouldn't be in the rumors.

Most importantly, if we turn our heads at all, we won't name ourselves unless it's a massive pillage, which also means that we can easily be targeted by the country, the adventurers, the bounty hunters.

I mean, I guess what Charles calls a "Farren bandit" isn't enough for them not to bother to give it a name and make it a big enough rumor to get a street name again.

"But before this, a few of Farren's noble daughters were caught by the bandits, and the rumors are starting to grow."

"But if there's such damage, the Knights won't shut up."

Farren is one of the urban states in the centre of the continent, a stable country that, although not as powerful as Avalon or Sparda, is medium-sized as a single nation and has no problem maintaining its own security.

If you insist, is it characteristic that there are many dark elves flowing from the West and that magic and medicine are developing their own thanks to it?

"Because we can't do that, our turn is wacky."

"Well, I guess so...... you mean that's it, or that those bandits are operating across the border"

"Boulder, you're right."

Well, that's about all I can think of is why the Knights can get their hands on it, and I don't even listen to Farren rubbing it in the inner circle.

There's no question that even the Knights are strong enough not to be opponents, if they are, they are at war.

"It's Farren this bandit's looting, but it's like Azito's inside Sparda."

Exactly a typical example of a Knights escape.

No matter how powerful the Knights are, it is not uncommon for them to refuse entry in the first place, which can be a little cumbersome to step into another country.

No matter how rough your country is, it won't be easy to chase a bandit if he runs into another country.

So, it's that kind of karakuri that brings bandit and bandit crusade quests to the Adventurer Guild, which means that adventurers with loose entrances and exits from foreign countries will end these troublesome arrangements, not the Knights, which is the army of the country.

Of course, retarded thieves, such as those operating only in their own country, are wiped out without a leak by the Knights of that country.

"Is that why we're waxing to crush that Azito, and that Nell's jumping to bandit exorcism, which isn't so uncommon, was attacked by anyone you know?

"You're as sharp as ever. Your brother... you're right, not that I know him directly, but he says our cadet was attacked by this bandit group."

Two parties of a certain knight candidate jointly challenged the quest, well it is a daily tea meal in a practical curriculum of knight courses.

Apparently, one of the students who managed to escape the scene after the bandits attacked and destroyed him while the party returned from the quest told him the story.

"You're unlucky that the one party I was having was a girl."

If it's just a man, it's over with being killed on the spot.

But women don't, they're more likely to be alive.

I'm pretty sure he's better off dead even if he's alive.

"As the same theological student, I really can't leave them alone!

"I should be prepared to do that more than my students are doing, but if I find out, I have to help you."

Nell and Shall, both of them seem pretty serious about this, this must be just the two of us going on a quest, even if I say NO.

Well, there's no reason for me to say no.

"Well, there's no way we can keep our mouths shut when a theological student gets his hands on us."

"Whoa, you're a bandit. I'll slash you at your leisure!

Well, the first quest of "Wing Road," which went up to Rank 5, was a wack that decided to exorcise the bandits.

"By the way, Charles, I didn't know about Farren's bandits, but I do know some rumors of a slightly winged slave trader in Sparda lately."

"Huh?"

"This whole thing might have a little bit behind it, huh?
