Kuro no Maou

Episode 382: Asbel Village Adventurer Guild

The 23rd of the month of frozen earth. After an eleven day journey, we, the Element Master, arrived in the Asbel Mountains, the home village of Asbel, the destination of the quest.

The first to head was the Asbel Village Adventurer Alliance.

"I didn't expect the rumored Black Nightmare Mad Warrior (Nightmare Berserker) to take it."

Jimmy, the village guild master who is the client of the Last Rose crusade, said the opening was the best.

After the calendar, the old man with a disappointing physique who does not make him feel faded expresses his welcome with such a mixed dialogue of surprise and joy, but as far as I'm concerned, I honestly can't please him.

"Um... how do you know"

"Your valiant name goes as far as Avalon."

Apparently, the battle of Ischia is completely widespread in the group of urban states in central Pandora. Avalon, in particular, is often the subject of the fact that there was Nero, the first prince, on that occasion.

Avalon. Yes, I am now visiting Avalon, Mia's Edge Land for the first time.

The Asbel Mountains, where Lastrose lurks, are a great mountain range that stretches as far north as the southern tip of the village. To the south lies the Avalonian territory, in the middle is the mountainous country inhabited by the harpi called 'Windham', and to the north is the elf country called 'Ortencia', which, taken together, longitudes the three countries.

But the most famous image of the Asbel Mountains would still be Avalon. Because the ranch where the ancient demon king Mia Ellord lived at an early age, when she was still a shepherd, was here on the southern tip of Avalon territory. Of course, it is unclear in detail where the ranch was actually located, as it is only left in inheritance. Apparently, archaeologists are still raising their blood trails to do specific local research... but the next time I see them, I'll ask.

Speaking of which, is it because of this legend that the Royal Avalon villa was built here? When I was a kid, Nell told me when he was looking forward to going to Asbel's villa.

Anyway, now we're talking about the quest. Because I already have to give up on the fact that the two embarrassing names of the Black Nightmare Mad Warrior (Nightmare Berserker) are spreading more and more without staying in the sparda.

"So, what is it about Last Rose, can you tell us more about it?

We are purposefully meeting with our client to purchase information on the Rank 5 Monster that will be the opponent of this trial. Sometimes the information on Sloughsgill in the guild material was out of focus, sometimes trying to be more mindful of gathering information, but this Jimmy also had a desire to talk to challenging adventurers.

It was really smooth to rent out the conference room on the second floor of this guild and set up a meeting place.

But when you look at this rural village guild conference room, don't remind me of the village of Alsace... listening to his explanation while immersed in a little sentiment in a simple room of similar wooden construction.

"Oh, I was the first to discover the Last Rose nest -"

That's how it was told, a bunch of bitter memories. The first discovery was thirty years ago, when Mr. Jimmy was still an active adventurer.

The first victim was a pair of young rank four parties who were promising for the future.

"The three of them, obviously, didn't look ordinary. Along the way, I began to repeat the same dialogue that I had just told you."

They figured out the anomaly because they were in touch with each other on a telepathic comm. Most importantly, the comms also seemed to have been jammed along the way, and I would say that I could only hear them in fragments.

In the end, those three never returned from the cave.

"I don't think he fought the monster directly, he was in some sort of state anomaly (Bad Status). It's not like confusion (panicos) or charm (charm), but at least it definitely had the effect of disillusionment losing its sanity"

"Why did you decide that the cave monster was the last rose?

"Only the last rose matched the information that a crawl like a rose tsu lives in a cave on the wall, uses mysterious illusions and produces spooky peach gas,"

He said he didn't know what he was like.

"Unfortunately, it didn't describe how familiar I was with the last rose material I was looking for. For once, we have all the materials here, so we should look through them later."

Although I don't think it will do much good, Jimmy continues with a bitter laugh.

After all, all of the monsters in the trials are rare, and in many cases there is no accurate information left. Well, that's something I was able to predict enough, and I honestly accept that I just appreciate the slightest bit of material.

"Other information left behind by adventurers who have challenged the cave makes it more credible."

The second time we tried the cave, the top priority was naturally the identification of the monsters that inhabit it. He said he prioritized checking his appearance and ensuring that he could hold the information, rather than defeating him.

"That's when I also entered the cave as part of the investigation team. All that was there were three bodies completely covered in ice... of course I didn't think the three of them were alive, but what I found most horrible when I saw that one was that they were all dead with a full smile on their faces"

Until the time of death, the effects of illusion continued to be exerted, and I guess they passed away without even realizing that they were dead.

"When Mr. Jimmy entered the investigation, did you just confirm the body?

"I knew it in correspondence, the first branch to split left and right, because you decided not to go any further back. The three bodies were just to the right of the branch."

According to the memory of the time, the three of them chose the left to go. It should have gone left, but the result is that I was in the right aisle. I guess some of the effects of illusion include letting the road get lost.

"The third time was challenged by an adventurer in possession of a countermeasure item for illusion. But neither did they return"

After that, as Jimmy did on several occasions at the beginning, he gathered information while in contact with an adventurer who had single-handedly entered a telepathic communication machine, but the results were still the same.

No matter how many times you repeat it, after a while past the branch, you start saying the same dialogue?

In that case, it's too late. I just told him to return, and he's driving the sense of direction crazy, so even if he thinks he's "back," he can't get close to the exit.

"How did you defeat such a monster, the person in this dossier?

There is only one truth in this document, which contains the materials offered and the scarce information on the Last Rose, which clearly states that the crusade was fulfilled.

"I don't know. Rather, he said, because the person who defeated him never talked in detail about the fight against LastRose."

It seems that it was a devout cleric man serving the temple of Pandora who defeated him. The class is a healer (Priest), it can be deduced that you don't need a particularly powerful attack to defeat it.

This last rose is a monster who specializes in tangling hands like a sloth gill. Therefore, direct combat capability should be as low as Larspun or Greedgore.

"If you're a healer (Priest), doesn't that simply mean you've spared the illusion?

A healer (Priest) should be better at his mental defense abilities than a swordsman or warrior.

"Oh, I think so, too. He also seemed to be a fairly high-ranking cleric, and he was able to use the ancient magic of recovery."

Kind of looks like Nell. When it comes to it, it means the holder of the strength that rank 5 deserves.

But why doesn't such a person talk about how to defeat him? I just wanted to ask you directly, but he's been dead for decades now, and it's physically impossible.

"It may be because of its high altitude that it has spoken of the battle against the Lustrose like a succubus"

"That could be, uh... a battle in a sexual sense with Last Rose?

"I don't know the details. But at the time of his death, the cleric said," I should have been killed by LastRose with my people. "

Apparently, the death brought about by the succubus is something sweet on top of this.

You're ready for this in so many ways to deal with them!

"Mmm."

"... Mmm."

At the moment I thought, from Lily and Fiona sitting left and right, a chilling glance was turned. BE, I'm not expecting anything or anything, and don't get me wrong!?

I finished hearing the explanation from Jimmy and left the meeting room behind. The first floor of the guild is made with a tavern, just like the village of Iles. However, it is a village that serves as a base for the famous dungeon called the Asbel Mountains, so it has a much higher number of users than the village of Iles.

It's only morning, and I guess a lot of people are going to go on quests. In the booze room seats, you can see several of the parties you are discussing while having breakfast.

Fiona stares at me by the smell, well, it's the usual thing. But, Mr. Fiona, you had breakfast earlier.

Anyway, I've heard the story, and I'm done with the quest process, so there's no use for the guild anymore. All that was left was to head straight to the snow mountain of Asbel, when he tried to get out the door with intent.

"So that's not my fault - oh!? You're a black nightmare."

"- Chrono-kun!?

What appeared over Byrne and the flashly opened door was one face that I knew everything about and three faces that I didn't want to see if I could.

"That, Nell?

It was a member of Wing Road who showed up. When you were in the lead and you saw my face, it was Kai the Battlemadman who shouted. Nell is the one who pushes him right after and runs all the way to me.

"Wow, why is Chrono-kun here? - Yikes!

It was Nell, who came with the momentum as if he were coming to me as it were, but suddenly he was frightened and suddenly stopped by the flash that made him bathe.

"Here, here, Lily......"

"'Cause you're suddenly coming in"

Pump, and Lily, who reveals her vigilance with a fluke that doesn't show reflection, stood forward to shelter me. Same response.

You can do it in the dorm or in the lounge, but here's not only the kind of heart Nell, but also Nero like the royal representative who really needs to be on guard.

"... why are you here, Chrono"

Oh, you see. Lily is no less grumpy than Lily, and the Prince of the Red Cloak appears.

"No matter how, I can only answer because I'm here on a quest."

"Quest, no way -"

I had a bad feeling about Nero's reaction.

"Last Rose Crusade!?

"Fenrill crusade!?

No. Not at all.

"... it doesn't look like the quest has been worn"

"Shit, you surprise me..."

Don't laugh at me, Nero. You look a little bumpy.

I thought Quest booked it, but I'm glad it's something different. The difficulty of success naturally increases dramatically, since if there is duplication, it will be the early winner. If the opponent is Wing Road, it is further down.

"Either way, are the dungeons on their way? Please, I won't stand in our way."

"I'm sorry, Chrono-kun, but if you're my brother, you're burning up a sense of confrontation because you couldn't be active in Ischia."

"Nell!? Don't say the right thing!

Extra-heartedly, just to say, a true look Nero, but Nell smiles alas Ugh and the Virgin. I distorted Ellord's sibling relationship with my brother, who was a little too good, but maybe that's rather the opposite. Poor Nero.

"Krono-kun's going to the Asbel Mountains, too, right? Then we'll be together on the way."

"Chrono, come on!

"Let's go, Mr. Chrono"

My right hand is pulled by Lily, my left arm is tangled by Fiona, and I can move forward undeniably.

"Sorry, Nell. See you later."

Even if the two of you hadn't forced me, I would have turned down Nell's offer, too. Wingload members with other than Nell are too bad, and most importantly, some dangerous people don't even quit after my life: Saphir. I already know what's going on, Lily and Fiona, while staring at Nell, it's Saphir who stands at the end of the line who's really paying attention. Really, if we suck, we start killing each other bees.

"Really... sorry Chrono-kun, say you can't"

But it doesn't make any difference when you look so clearly sorry. If I'm not ready, I'll soon be a Japanese who can't say NO. I thank my people for pulling me off even when I can't.

In so doing, he heads to the door of the guild, sadly dragged by cheats and his dependable companions.

"Hey Chrono, you can't lose next time, just wash your neck and wait!

It was Kai who said the noisy things with a refreshing smile. I still don't think he's bluffing.

"If you're in a lifeless practice match, you'll always be opponent"

"Hehe, Thanksgiving!

An innocent man with a dazzling smile. I'm a combat freak, but I guess the roots aren't bad guys.

Even for me, I want a pure sword fight next. Because in seminary, no one is better suited to practice swords than him.

"So when will my demon eye be returned?

"It's my demon eye. Get lost."

"Now I'll get you some Gleedgore and Slowsgill material on the set, too?

"Don't trivialize it."

Saphir Marya Hydra, who makes fun of her all the time. Only this crazy woman with a head doesn't need courtesy or anything.

"No, a greedy man. I wish I were dead."

At the end of such a slaughtered exchange, I finally left my guild behind.

Speaking of which, I feel like there's not one person missing on Wing Road - well, okay.
