Kuro no Maou

Episode 550: Sweet New Life (1) - Modified

The 20th of the month of fresh water. We left this omboro dorm behind with the last memory of our awkward first experience with Fiona. Take Mary the Immortal Horse (Nightmare) and Marie the Ordinary Horse and Ciro the Heavenly Horse (Pegasus) straight to their new home.

The Curse Hall has been cleaned and refurbished by the vendor since the day of purchase, as well as carrying large pieces of furniture and other items. Me, Fiona, and Saliel have already figured out the structure because we've been going around the hall to get ready for our new home. So it's really in the form of just living today.

So when we came to the front gate, the gate of a tightly closed iron fence made a faint noise and opened it alone, as if to welcome the new Lord.

"Still, the curse of the hall stays the same after all, what is it?"

"Okay, this is more convenient."

The curse on the hall was considerably lessened by the end of the Baron's evil spirit. But the pure resentment that becomes a different will from the Baron, stained since this became the nest of evil spirits, remains almost independent and intact. In other words, instead of the baron manipulating the hall, the hall itself is becoming willing.

Originally, here's where I get my money and now it's time to officially ask the Temple of Pandora to perform the ritual of purification... because he thus opened the gate on his own, the will to curse remains intact in the hall.

"Well, it's not convenient after all"

Nothing else, because there is an easy way to control the curse in this hall. That is the silk hat left by the Baron's evil spirit.

After Fiona purified the evil spirit with a golden flame, only a silk hat, like the gentleman's synonym, was left in the potpounds. I immediately realized that if I took it in my hand, it was a kind of magic item that had the effect of freely controlling the curse of the museum and making it obey.

Wearing this, the interior structure of the hall becomes all physically comprehensible. I guess evil spirits and senses are linked. Just remember, you can open and close the doors and windows on your own, and you can turn on the lights. Other pieces of furniture found in the mansion and objects therein, as well as black iron fences mimicking the tsu stretched around the mansion and on the balcony, were also found to be free to move.

With this, you would certainly be able to repel intruders by making the hall look like a trap house, like a baron.

However, even if you are not wearing a silk hat otherwise, you can operate it of your own free will as far as you can see, or rather the hall itself seems to admit to being the lord of the hat, and you can move with care. The gate opened on its own, also because the Hall recognized the return of the Lord.

"In the meantime, if there's any inconvenience, let's purify it"

"Yes, because the cost of purification isn't foolish either."

We're rich now, but we've never gone beyond avoiding useless expenses. In the meantime, over the last few days of preparation, we have done no harm to the cleaners and transporters, but we have also helped them plainly, thanks to a lot of distraction and movement. When carrying something a little big, if the door frame is narrow, you can force me to push it wide and wide so I can get through. Although the principle that non-elastic trees and metals bend like rubber is unknown. Will you be able to do it when you extremes Poltergeist's mind, or is it a form of spatial magic?

Anyway, I think the curse of the hall is a good boy who can tell the difference. When I wear a silk hat, I hear voices like, "Please don't just purify me, Hall Master". I guess he's desperate to survive, too.

Anyway, in the end, our new life began in a hall where the curse remained.

Each of these days will be organized around a predetermined private room. The general arrangement is over, but the details are still to come.

I'm in charge of the upstairs bedroom, the study with the baron equivalent of my own room, first of all. Fiona is a long-awaited basement workshop and her own upstairs apart from her bedroom. Saliel decided after the dining room and lounge, and a bit of me and Fiona rubbing on the allocation, her own room like an attic on the top floor of the East Tower.

The servant room is in the back of the east wing on the ground floor, but does Fiona dare to turn it into a tower as long as she wants to keep Saliel away during the night? I said I would be fine in my original servant's room, but Sariel himself insisted that the attic of the tower was good, so I decided there. She says, because the highest places are easier to monitor the area, apparently.

It's impossible to do anything early in this aristocratic neighborhood... well, if Saliel wants to imitate the guards, I have no reason to stop.

"-Master, dinner is ready"

"Whoa, it's that time already"

I don't have much personal stuff, so I thought it wouldn't take me that long to sort it out, but when I started trying, I got enthusiastic. I also fished the reception room and library along the way, so I haven't gone too far.

Well, for now, I'm cleaning up to the point where I'm not indisposed for living.

Dinner that day, at Fiona's request, was curry. Last time it was a pork curry close to the unlimited taste of home, but this time it is a bit of a fancy beef curry made without compromising on the ingredients, apparently. The flavoring was a little spicy, but it was exquisite. Delicious. Sariel, you're still a genius.

"Master, Dear Fiona, the bath is ready"

After eating, Saliel came to get me as we were dazzling on the couch in the lounge talking about each other's progress. We're ready for dinner, take a bath, and it's kind of okanese. Seeing how me and Fiona are all over it, I do feel like a badly made brother and sister.

Funny, until now, Sariel should have been my sister...

"Shall we go, Mr. Chrono?"

"Oh, oh..."
