Kuro no Maou
Episode 578: A Triple Trip
The 23rd of the month of Xinyang. morning. At the main entrance square of Avalon, two girls stood.
One is a witch in black. Fiona Soleil from "The Element Master".
The usual witch robe, but now with one more black cloak, a feathered figure. It is somewhat hot and bitter dressed during the early summer season, but the person in question looks cool everywhere.
Instead of thinking about it, Fiona was prepared to wear this cape because it would be a necessary piece of equipment in the harshest battle that was about to begin.
The other one, Sariel. This, too, is the monastic outfit I always wear when I go to battle as an adventurer. Regardless, under that holy costume is worn radical succubus armor that sluttily adorns the limbs of a white girl.
The two wait quietly, aside their respective beloved horses.
As soon as it's gone, the waiter shows up.
A witch, dressed in bright white and red cleric clothes, with both wings of pure white. The long dark hair tied to one is sarcastically shaken, and the footsteps are only the sound of the horse's hooves she pulls tapping the cobblestone.
The third member, Nell Julius Ellord, bows his head gracefully with the calm expression that the princess of one country deserves.
"Thank you for waiting"
"No. Who's ready?
"All set."
"Really? -"
Just that there is nothing more to talk about, the three of them span each horse, as shown together.
- Okay, let's go.
That's how they travel quietly through Avalon. To destroy the fairy insane in love.
"Avalon in the realm of divine annihilation" is famous as a dungeon of the highest degree of difficulty, but has good access. Location is the northwestern end of Avalon territory, but the streets leading up to it are wide and tidy, and if you have quite a few horses and tricks, you can tread in about three days.
The trips of the three had proceeded well and, as planned, on the night of the 25th of the month of Xinyang, they had reached the main entrance gate of the pitch-black at the entrance of the "Divine Realm Avalon".
The only thing included in the dungeon is the inside of a huge black wall that, after thousands of years, continues to stand without lacking and without cracking.
Outside the walls, only countless piles of rubble break apart in far antiquity. No grass grows and no sign of life can be felt anywhere, no matter what the effect of the curse.
There is no such danger in such a rubble wilderness as the lowly undead wander from time to time. It is the last safe zone, given to adventurers challenging the strongest dungeons.
"Let's rest here tonight and start the offensive tomorrow morning"
There was no one to disagree with Fiona, who made the natural decision as an adventurer.
From that huge black gate, monsters in the dungeon can't even come out. For once, as a minimum of vigilance, I arranged to keep watch one by one, and I was to go to bed that day.
"Mr. Sariel, may I ask you something?"
"Yes, Princess Nell"
As a result of a strict scratch, the first watchman was decided on Fiona. Inside the tent, two of Saliel and Nell fall asleep. A princess of a country and a slave who had lost himself from a general of an army. Because those two sleep the same way, a tent of adventurers is probably the best, most equal place in the world.
"You were a friend in Mr. Krono's hometown, I hear… how far, is it true"
For Nell, now would be the time to check again.
That time I went to Sparda to see Chrono, it ended scattered, nestled in Fiona's cunning trap. It is also true that Fiona's words also had a lot of credibility, although deceiving herself has no objection.
The story I heard about Fiona back then, how far was it true and how far was it a lie? Nell couldn't help but ask.
"I have no right to an answer. In particular, the publication of information involving the Master is restricted"
"- I don't mind, Sariel."
From outside the tent, Fiona's voice jumps in.
Apparently, the story is outrageous. Most importantly, I didn't intend to keep it a secret either as Nell. I'm just saying that it was convenient for the situation to cut the story out that Sariel and I were alone.
"I don't mind, I don't know how far to go to disclose information."
"As far as I can tell, I don't mind telling her. Who Mr. Chrono is, who you are."
Fiona knows. That Chrono dared not confess to Nell that he was Gentile or that he had a hard experience in the Alsace defense.
For Chrono, Nell is only a friend. I am a party member and Simon will continue to be one of those who suffer together. Prince Wilhardt apparently knows because he himself discerns that Chrono is Gentile, but I would say that's an exception.
"at risk of ignoring the Master's intentions"
"I'm having you hang out this far. I think she has a right to know."
"Do you feel sorry for me"
Slightly thorny words, but Fiona answers flatly.
"I just have the right, I don't have the in-laws to teach. All you have to do is ask what you want to know. Sariel doesn't lie. Except what you don't know, because it answers precisely."
So, feel free to do the rest, but Fiona pushed her back.
"... Sariel, can you answer my question?"
After a moment of silence, Nell asks. This place seemed to decide to listen as much as I could, without putting up any crappy intentions.
"Yes, I also decided that you deserve to know about the Master"
Sariel will also be judged because he perceives that Krono is forgiving Nell more than that. Memorabilia with Nell, including the battle of Ischia, had been heard in bed in the pioneering village, and recently told to the gesture of temple life.
"So, first of all... who is Chrono-kun, what is it?
Previously, Nell didn't dare ask. Where is the "distant home" that Chrono refers to? Where the hell did he come from, and why, he reached Sparda?
Chrono didn't tell us where he came from himself, only because he intentionally tried to hide it. And Nell's distinction is not lacking enough to try to force him to pry the sole.
But it was also the most disturbing information. Chrono, it's the first step you need to take to know who he is.
"Master is Gentile."
I was somewhat puzzled by the oblique answer, though Nell was prepared to accept that much anticipation and Sole, that Chrono's identity was actually a demon sent by the demon god or a crusader traitor.
But, I see, I was also strangely convinced.
"His real name is Mahogany Kurono. Chrono is a surname and his first name is Mao. However, in this world the pronunciation of 'mao' is called 'demon king', and also to prevent being mistaken for nobility by having a surname, 'chrono'"
"Gentiles, are you... oh, so you have black hair, black eyes"
The appearance of the Gentiles is a well-known story.
Even Avalon has legends and records of black-haired, black-eyed Gentiles. From what is so public that the sooner we look it up in the library and in the guild, to such secret stories as have only been passed on to the Ellord royal family.
"So is Mr. Saliel a Gentile, too? Not in the same color at all."
"I was once a Gentile by the name of Sayuko Shirazaki. This body is not her own thing"
"What do you mean?
"In me and my master, the way we came to this world is fundamentally different. I sealed the soul of Sayuko Shirazaki in an artificial human (homunculus) vessel made in this world, reincarnation. The Master summoned himself to this world, summoning"
It has long been a story that Gentiles come and fall or possess babies. But in the same time, I've never heard of a summoner and a reborn circle.
Destiny, the word is just Nell's head.
"What was the relationship between the two of you in the original world?"
"Sayuko Shirazaki was in love with Mahogany Kurono -"
That's where it starts, the story of the two of us. Mahogany Kurono and Lily Shirazaki.
Chrono keeps himself and walks the path against God. Sariel was run down the path of losing his self and obeying God.
The two men who go the opposite way, each become the conquerors of Sinclair and the guardians of Pandora, killing each other - how those two have come to this day on the same path.
It took a long time to talk about it.
If you notice, the sky is thin and white.
Nell, having heard all the revelations of the matter, said this at the end with tears over the overly harsh fate that Chrono had traced.
"-Mr. Saliel, after all, I wish you had died."
The 26th of the month of Xinyang, morning. The blue sky spreads through and illuminates the ancient black capital.
"So it's time to go? The goal of this one is only to kill Mr. Lily. But please don't break up with me."
"Yes, Master Fiona"
"Of course, there's no way you'd do something stupid like that."
At the same time, Nell stares at Sariel with the kind of eyes he sees in his parents' enemies. Against Sariel, the usual faceless expression.
Fiona, an experienced person, empathizes that this kind of reaction stirs up even more anger.
After all, I cannot help but think that if I knew the circumstances, the existence of Saliel should have died as an apostle. At least, from a woman who loves Chrono, there would be no more blinding.
"Mr. Lily is the only one who can burn in ugly jealousy."
Jealousy. Yes, jealousy.
I envy Sariel.
Ultimately, Fiona thinks so. I'm sure Nell will have the same thoughts, consciously or even unconsciously.
Because Sariel was forgiven. His greatest enemy, the Apostle, was the Commander of the Crusades, but Chrono forgave him. At the end of the agony that was hard to exhaust to the brush tongue, Chrono nevertheless forgave.
Nothing else. Because Sariel is the same Gentile.
Human beings in the same world as Chrono.
It is a status that can never be obtained, either by Fiona, the genius wizard, or by Nell, the princess of Avalon.
Sariel knows. He was a real student. Seeing the same thing as him, living in the same place as him, sharing the same common sense with him.
From Chrono's point of view, we become otherworldly people, we can't empathize with Fiona and the others, we don't understand, we don't have the art of knowing.
Unable to hold, but the jealousy of the late. Or maybe it's the fear and anxiety that really prevents us from understanding him that burns up our jealousy.
"Let's go. We protect Mr. Chrono from that crazy jealous queen."
The three girls, gathered in the name of love, similarly discuss a loving maiden.
Fucking crazy, is it Lily or Fiona, all of them?
A jihad of love that transcends good and evil begins now.
