Kuro no Maou
Episode 601: Divine Extinction Realm Avalon Attack (2)
On the subway tracks, a platoon of knights awaited, including a specially equipped magician known as the 'Poison Mist Man'. Fiona and the others fought the exact same opponent.
Still, this guy named Poison Mist, he's more of a chemical weapon equipped special forces man than a magician, no matter how you look at him. Because he's wearing a gas mask, and the weapon that unleashes poison gas is not a cane, it's a complete radiator. It carries a tank filled with poison gas on the radiator part like a trumpet.
Well, I guess this is one of the ancient weapons. For once, the poison gas emitters they are equipped with appear to be operated by dedicated ancient magic and cannot be picked up but used. The contents of the tank do not also contain the poison gas itself, but the technique of purifying the poison gas is said to be stamped with a complex multiplex structure. Ancient weapon maniacs can safely be decorated as interiors because the magic to move it has not been elucidated.
But the ancient sorcerer who keeps moving as an undead is an authentic user of poisonous gas weapons, flat out releasing a nasty, powerful lethal gas whose use is absolutely likely to be prohibited by international law on Earth. Although it is a vicious method of attack called poison gas in a small space… a countermeasure called wind magic already exists. I'll try to mimic that, too, as Nell used to.
Yes, now is the turn of the black magic of the wind knitted using pseudo-wind attributes!
"I'll make way -" Windblade (Ale Blast) ""
Shortly before I tried to shoot out the demon bullet (Barrett Arts) with the wind, I literally made a wind hole in a purple cloud of poison gas that, as Cellis was used to, would squeeze in with a range of wind attribute attack magic.
Just like Nell, no, with more precision control than that, it opens up a stunningly clean breakthrough to show. Moreover, not only is it paying off with momentum, but the wind seems to be lingering for some time, and the holes that have been opened are not immediately blocked.
"Well, let's go, Olar!
And with Kai at the forefront, Rudra and Falcius just slaughtered in, quickly ending the poison fog, and further slaughtering and dumping the knight of the escort.
"Hehe, you can afford it"
"Don't be alarmed. I thought it was dangerous to inhale this poison fog even slightly."
"Thanks, Celis. That was accurate support."
"You're good at wind magic. Besides, I've dealt with the same enemy before."
The battle is over if you notice. I'm not looking for gold, so I don't have to collect gear from knights I defeated, and my people move on as if nothing had happened... that, what is it, this alienation. I mean, I, I didn't do anything.
"Next time, we'll support you properly as a guard..."
My determination, then all the knights I encountered in the subway tracks were small, and the avant-garde group unilaterally slashed and abandoned the encounter and proceeded without stopping. I'm just setting up The Grid, and I haven't fired a single shot yet. I don't know if I can behave in the shadows anymore...
"Phew, we're finally back on the ground."
"You don't like underground, you know, breathing like that."
"I don't care."
"You like undead when it's dark and giddy"
"Pfft, don't tell other vampires it's like a worm, etc. I'm just as proud of them as I am of them, but all in all, they're very temperamental."
Rudra gorgeously through the sarcasm of Falchius. Listening to the exchange between the two of them, I also finally got back from the subway to the ground.
"From here to the 21st defensive tower, it's like 300 meters in a straight distance."
But from around here, the security of knights gets tighter even in the suburbs, Celis continued. But 300 meters and so on, the distance that you can rush through in an instant from us, each of which requires speed enhancing martial arts and magic. But it would be over if we went head-on in grandeur and the knights found us and started calling for reinforcements indefinitely.
Only on earth can we avoid our enemies and proceed in hiding. I also want to avoid the drain of extra battles than the aim is to challenge a boss monster named Lily.
It's a wack that scratches the security of the knight, but there's already a countermeasure to that.
"Saliel's analysis suggests that the knights here are patrolling in a combination of multiple security patterns,"
In fact, based on that route guess, we're reaching our destination without ever bowling it together. Regardless of the initial position or number of enemies, I don't know, so it's only unlikely to be security by prediction, but it should be safer than going without thinking about it. I don't have a hand in not using this.
"Um, me, I can't do these hard things."
It was Kai who made the NG declaration first.
"There are few patterns, but hundreds of cavalry troops actually in motion. If only enough to predict all movement and calculate a safe route… it would be quicker to keep walking"
And Rudra was right, too. The knight of security keeps several troops moving in real time. Too much time to come up with a safe route answer can cause a lot of discrepancy from the time you start calculating.
This means that there is also a time limit for calculating.
"Uh, are you confident you can calculate?
"Me, academics are just a little cranky with hobbies, so it's tough when you're asked for complicated calculations."
"I also have excellent academic results... but to the boulders, this is difficult"
Right. Of course, I can't even finish high school math.
Or it's impossible to calculate all this information and predict the route. Now I know. Something's wrong with Sariel.
Right, Sariel... you were so smart...
"Well, shall I?
It was Simon who reached out for salvation to the five stupid swordsmen. He was already hiding in the 'Predator Court', so it looked like Vivian was talking about him showing up as a guide.
"Can you do that?
"Sixth sense, sign perception, spatial awareness and all sorts of abilities are lacking over Mr. Sariel, so accuracy will be lost, but calculations alone will do it quickly."
"That's a boulder... then, I asked for it"
Sariel had established the safety route by combining other supersenses with his own. It doesn't extend to that, but it means Simon can do it if it's just a pattern-based calculation.
"Well, Krono-kun only expected it."
"Oh, it's our brains."
I thought the only thing we could rely on was ancient ruins related, but I'm glad they're working here, though we feel sorry for ourselves, somewhat complicated.
"Then keep following Vivian like this"
And so, with Simon's out-of-reliance Saliel-style route calculation, we began to move forward. On the road, like Fiona and the others, it didn't count zero, but it was still the number of encounters to the point of counting with one hand. Fortunately, the number of enemies bowled together was also as low as within the subway line.
After only a few battles with a level of enemies that could be handled without difficulty, we were able to reach our next destination safely. It is, of course, the twenty-first defensive tower, the entrance to the safest central city.
"This door right over there, it's in the hall."
We've already broken inside, eliminating a handful of guards who were guarding the tower.
"It's called the boss room, isn't it? Heh, you're gonna have arms."
"A large Kingsguard knight will be the opponent, but this face will take him down at risk"
That's as information suggests. Sellis once, the boss here has been through it, and Vivian information kept a solid record. Well, I don't know if I can defeat it as gorgeously as the combination of Sariel and Nell.
"Unfortunately, that's all the neighborhoods I know"
"No, enough is enough. Thanks, Celis."
From here onwards, downtown Cerris is not exploring either. Thanks to the fact that Celis remembered the whole city quite well in the first Avalon attack, it helped a lot on the road so far. Evacuate an open building, overdo security, or shortcut an alley.
From the next area, however, it will be a level of security that even the Sariel-style route calculation method cannot cover, and I have no experience with Sellis. In the first place, there's not even enough exploration going on to make a detailed map, a harsh area. If we get lost, in the worst case scenario, we could be wiped out.
I'm definitely sorry about the retaliation before I get to Lily. Let's get our minds together - and before we do, let's focus on knocking down the boss here first.
When I opened the door leading to the boss room, I went out into a circular hall, the same as I saw on Vivian's record. In the center of it, as expected, is the figure of a big knight in one piece.
It's not a duel. As soon as we get in, it could take all five of us to take them down in an instant...
"I'll take care of it."
I dared to step forward alone.
"Are you alone? Zuly, Chrono."
Kai is a slightly dissatisfied swelling surface, but Rudra and Sellis snorted at me with a face like
No, because by now, I, I haven't fought Loc... well, it's just one small reason. The main thing is right, it's nothing.
"Well, I guess that's not a good idea. It's a corner, and I want to see if Chrono-kun can really use protection in the God's Endangered Realm (here)."
"Oh, to try it out, because he was just the right guy"
It's bad for everyone, but I'd appreciate it if we gave this place away. I wanted to see if Falcius was right, if I could use the protection of the Demon King, and also try the power of my blood-sucking 'neck break'.
Whoa, whoa, whoa!
The big, roaring Kingsguard knight says, "I'm not chatting, come on, you dabble!" All the while, he came at me suddenly.
Well, I've talked to the party members, and I'm ready for this one.
"" Demon King of Fire (Overdrive) "-"
Naturally, a burning crimson aura springs up.
Now, there's some resistance to using Mia's powers... but let me use anything I can. At the earliest opportunity, there is no more pride in me. He's just an irresistible man trying to do anything to get the woman he likes.
Such emotions, if you hold onto this great curse, don't bother me. Yeah, I know, when I'm holding you, let's just focus on busting our enemies.
Quietly pulled out of the shadows, "Absolute Grievance" "Neck Break" was placed in the large upper section. All the clutter, that disappears.
"-" Black/Earthquake ""
Shake it down, the most used martial arts. But it's my first experience with clear tones like Lynn and the bell.
And so much so that we cut our enemies apart. It felt like cutting even water.
There are no moves, no rushes, just big knights coming straight at me, like Kingsguards who rely on shields and armor defenses to thrust at me. Easy work, just getting the blade down at the best time. Instead of hitting them, it's more about activating martial arts.
"Blackness/Earthquake" thus unleashed - it is a martial arts technique that, in addition to the normal "Blackness", was given the ability to vibrate due to the "resonant grievance fork" of "Horned Grave", with a step enhancement.
But all I have in my hand is a 'neck break'. The tomb guard's sword is asleep in the shadows... but it was a new force, gained by letting the 'neck break' suck my blood, that allowed me to draw out the ability of the cursed weapon in my possession.
I'm not a wacko absorbing other abilities. If I had left "Horned Grave" at home, "Black/Earthquake" wouldn't activate.
In other words, it feels like the 'neck slit' is closer to me. I can handle a curse weapon. So the 'neck break' that drew that blood and approached the existence of me was also able to deal with the curse weapon, that is, to demonstrate its ability on its own blade.
I felt comfortable enough to forget that I was holding it from the beginning, but now it feels like my nerves went through to the end of the blade. At the earliest possible time, it is not an exaggeration when it comes to parts of the body.
So not only is it the ability of the cursed weapon that I possess, but if I want to do it, I can also grow tentacles from my body, and I can haunt the black flames. At once, the range of abilities available for 'neck breaks' widened.
Most of all, only the ability of the cursed weapon does not extend to direct use of the real thing. Only 'Horned Grave' can sing enough to manipulate the undead, and the absorption of magic (Drain) is no match for 'Extreme Bad Food'.
Still, this comfort and ease of use is outstanding.
The "Black Shake/Earthquake" all over me made the Kingsguard knight break his head to his crotch for every hammer he was shaking up to smash me.
A body divided left to right falls with a cloudy black blood splash raised. A beautiful cross section showed that the thick spine as well as the meat was torn straight and vertical.
Well, I might have felt harder if I'd slashed every shield that lived 'Reflect (Reflect)'.
"Brilliant. Krono-kun, I knew you were... real, what is it?"
It seems more disturbing that I am the only one who is impressed by the power of 'neck amputation' that has grown as a result of dialogue, and that, when it takes members, it has been demonstrated that I am the only one who could really use protection in this divine realm.
I know you're not a wacko to doubt me, but from everyone's point of view, you still have the protection of Mia Ellord, the ancient demon king, which is easily incredible. If he is a born Pandorian, he is an outrageous man. It's also natural to be half-hearted.
"I don't know. Maybe my god is just fooling the demon king."
"Maybe. But I believe you."
Not only Falcius, but also the other members have no doubtful colour in his expression. Guys, you must have believed that I was truly granted the protection of the Demon King.
"Thanks, but unfortunately, I'm not likely to live up to everyone's expectations. At the end of the day, you can't get past the test."
How long will the protection of this demon king stay with me? If I get Lily back, will she disappear?
Then I don't mind. I don't want power until I sacrifice my loved ones.
I wanted power because I wanted to protect it. That's also a good place to end up, such as sacrificing those to protect, in order to want the strength to protect.
"... I don't know anything about that, so nobody got a believer, Mia"
The answer couldn't have come back.
