Kyuuketsu Hime wa Barairo no Yume o Miru

Episode Five: Self-Determination

"I'm half bad as a wizard."

That's how I laid down with my knees, Fiore.

No, there were members of this type in the guild, too.

In the case of that member, I preferred to choose a production job. After all, the production job seems to have an image when it comes to fighting, and even if I applied for a temporary party call or something, Kanboro refused me, and some of them were told to be bad.

But the truth is, production jobs are surprisingly stiff (high VIT indicating vitality), and they have arm power (also high STR), so I don't think there's anything worse than a combat job for fighting normally. It's just one thing to lack annihilation because you don't have powerful skills, though you're being driven into misadventure in battle.

"I wonder why people have to say this just because it's a production job..."

And I used to be depressed, but I was a fun person myself, and I was a powerless, paper-armed swordsman myself, so we spent a lot of hours together doing dungeon strategies and stuff, and it was fun (like two and a half hours for two dungeons who could attack in 20 minutes if Rapo was alone).

As far as I'm concerned, I think I could only compare myself to others, and I think I'd better admit myself more, but I'm probably not convinced by what I say, you know?

I'd say so, but you seem depressed compared to me in the first place, so bad consolation is going to be counterproductive...

I guess I guessed around there. Chloe opened her mouth.

"Hey, lady. I know it's magic, but at least you can use water and fire, and even attack magic, right?

"… you can also use only a little of the four elements of witchcraft combined with wind and earth and ancient language witchcraft"

So in the tone of what's going on, Fiore answers blurry with her face nodded to her knee.

Hiu, and Chloe whistled lightly.

"It's a lot at that young age. What kind of magician do I know who could only use one or two kinds of magic?"

"... but it's just usable, it doesn't help in action. It's better to use one powerful type of magic."

"I don't know. - Hey, princess. How many sorceries can you use?

"Only one kind of sacred magic."

"-Because. That's all I learned about magic of sorts, isn't it a lot of effort and talent? Shouldn't you be more proud of your efforts?

"It is in action that magicians are admitted. … it's pointless to have talent that no one can recognize."

"Still, I guess you tried because you wanted to be recognized, young lady?

………

I guess it's a picture star. Fiore to silence.

"I think even magic depends on how you use it. Hey. - Even martial arts can only be strong with a pile of plain and foolish efforts. If I tell you, talent is the limit, and I think that's what you should say when you just do it when you die and you still can't."

That's it, Chloe. That's it. I just stand up saying I'm done talking.

Meanwhile, I elbowed Joey, who had always been air during the conversation.

"- Hey, what?!" Why blush?

... No, it's not what it is, it's where I should follow you as a buddy, right? and whispered in a whisper, Joey armed herself with a difficult face.

"No, I'm not sure what you're talking about."

As usual, the brain miso is tocorotene.

"I can't use magic. Fiore is so helpful, I don't know why he's bothering me."

Chloe blew out to the obvious, and Fiore looked up and flashed.

I still don't understand what they said, that look on my face.

I was worried, encouraged, and still unconvinced, but I'm probably not sure I can believe it when I let go of my praise for being so ridiculously honest and "awesome" and "so helpful".

though. That's why I said bitterly.

"- Look, right. You're getting good results on your efforts, aren't you?

………

Fiore grinned like a cry - but with a happy grin, she snorted.

After a brief break, all the Fiore who brought it back down to the ninth floor.

So, on this ninth floor, but the floors and small rooms were covered in sand, which turned from previous hierarchies into a heavily built maze of stone, so I decided to proceed with caution while mapping with me and Fiore in the rear guard.

By the way, my skill "Mapping (Auto Mapping)" automatically draws a map of where I walked into my head for a normal dungeon, but with these maze type dungeons, it had specifications that would take a limiter, and that survived coming to this world.... something that you can't use in a totally weird place.

Plus Chloe said that stepping floors, pitfalls, spinning doors and traps (traps) were also full, so I asked experienced Chloe to lead the way here, and Joey decided to follow it and learn how to identify and disarm the traps by demonstrating behind it, and then Bok and Fiore walked side-by-side.

Mm, the stone golem that comes along the way is milled by Chloe with the stick of his will.

Sand Golem, made of sand, also helps Joey, scrapes the crust and searches for the core of the body, knocking it down in the form of destroying this - something like this, which was able to go surprisingly well.

And it was Fiore's magic that came in handy here, and the Golem stopped even for a moment with the magic of earthlineage.

Sand Golem was more simply very effective in destroying bodies whose physical attacks would otherwise be less effective by bumping up chunks of water to increase viscosity.

I knew it was a way to use it.

Fiore seems to have regained a lot of confidence in my experience here, too.

But it looks like this one was a trap, and after about an hour, the stone walls and floors made a roar with Gacon Gacon, deforming it as if they rearranged the building blocks, at the entrance when they noticed.

And the maze had just morphed into a completely different form.

"... I mean, time is limited."

That's why the MAP was blank.

After consultation in the meantime, the dungeon here decided to prioritize time attacking, ignoring even the traps and monsters along the way, and looking for an exit.

"I think I'm the one with the best speed and reflex nerves in this, so don't delay me because I'll be at the forefront"

Well, if I really run, I'll leave them all alone in a flash, so I'll give them enough credit.

In that way, he decided to proceed along the wall of his right hand and managed to break through the ninth floor in about two hours in total, even though he was lost in a branch or something.

And the 10th floor of the boss room.

This place was a lot smaller than the upstairs (though it's pretty big because it's about 300 meters square), and yet the whole thing was in one room.

A pillar like an ancient Egyptian temple lined up, a sphinx the size that matched it on a huge pedestal - a human woman's face on the body of a lion, a monster with eagle wings - lay asleep.

I see a passage across that pedestal, so there's probably a transfer magic formation ahead of it.

Sphinx looked up as he noticed us.

"Well, another intruder? No, I haven't been sleeping lately."

While one of you in a surprisingly gentle tone, she (?) continued.

"Then, the uninvited intruders. I will ask you. If you can answer this question, you can go through behind me and return early. But if I get the wrong answer, I'll have it as my food."

Oh, is this pattern arr...?

"Four legs in the morning, two in the day, three at night. What is this?

Unexpectedly look at each other.

'... this is me, isn't it'

"... that's it"

"... you're a famous arr"

I see, if the boss knew 'Sphinx', you mean to dodge the fight and move on?

That's why we don't have much information. If we can get to the 10th floor, we can use the Transition Magic Team with almost no problem.

As long as we can use the Transfer Magic Formation for now, wasted battles agree with each other in eye contact by avoiding them, and we snort at each other.

As it was, I was somewhat prompted by my eyes, so I decided to represent myself and I would answer.

"The answer is," Haunted?

………

Early for a moment, Joey, who gave a stupid answer with a twist on his neck, focused his gaze on seeing the incredible things of everyone on this scene, including Sphinx.

"- You made a mistake, human! You are all my bait!!"

Turning around, Sphinx, who also rose violently in angry shape, spread his wings and took a position where he attacked with force on his limbs.

"Is that it? Wrong..."

toward Joey scratching his head with Polypoli,

"Shh... Master's, stupid!!"

Fiore's genuine curse echoed on the floor - it was Sphinx roaring at the signal, kicking the pedestal's and jumping from above.
