The start of the meeting, and……

"... for God's sake, I didn't know there was such a difference between him and me..."

"We can't even hope for a reciprocal relationship... No, it just doesn't destroy instantly. Should I say it's still better..."

After about two months of preparation, a meeting has begun to determine the future relationship between our demonic and human worlds....... but early in the beginning there was heavy air standing in the capitol.

This me, Alice, was holding back behind the Demon King and serving as an assistant to the meeting. And as soon as the meeting began, we handed out a booklet that briefly summarized the types of products such as food and underground resources of the demonic world, their output, their processing techniques, culture, and the characteristics of the faint species, but the participants on the human side who saw it reacted as described above.

But maybe we can't help but react to that. Because apparently there is a huge difference between the demonic world today and the major nations of the human world that cannot be seen in hundreds of years in all kinds of productive, technological, cultural, etc.

Before the arrival of the Demon King, the demonic world was a desolate world with as much wilderness as it could see, and there was no such thing as a cultured culture in Loch. However, due to the various kinds of knowledge that the Demon King has spread over the last hundred years or so, the likelihood of the demonic world has changed considerably within the moment.

The demons, including me, were lucky enough to benefit from that change, but from the humans, we should be seemingly not strange beings whenever we become enemies, and it would be inevitable to feel despair if we knew that such virtual enemies had civilizations that went far beyond ourselves.

"Fair enough, calm down. We don't want to dominate or destroy you."

In such a bitter air, the Demon King said that. Indeed, the current demonic world is established as a society where we can live in peace thanks to the Demon King. You don't have to go out of your way to risk invading the human world.

The participants on the human side seem to have regained some calm after listening to the words of the Demon King. It's really sweet of you to dare say something that would reassure the Demon King even though he doesn't need to care about them.

"Oh, demon king..., no, demon king, are you sure you believe that word?

One of the humans (I think he was a minister in some country) said those words. It's an unforgivable foolishness to doubt the words of the Demon King...... but apparently no offense, and I decided to miss it this time because the Demon King himself doesn't seem to care. The human complexion was pale, but there would be no particular problem with whether the killer was leaking when he only glanced at it reflexively for a moment.

"Yes, I'm not going to invade. 'Cause it doesn't seem like that's funny?

The Devil King's earlier remarks didn't seem to care about them, they simply seemed boring. Sounds like you're the Demon King who acts in "Sounds Interesting or Not" instead of "Can You or Not".

But such a demon king's statement seems to have hurt the self-esteem of humans less. They must have understood that they could easily be destroyed with one of the Demon King's distractions.

I know exactly how that feels, too. It's laughable that it was just a worry now, but right after I met the Demon King, I was worried about that too. So I'm sure these humans will know better about the character of the Demon King from now on, and you'll see that you don't have to worry about that.

"Because it doesn't seem funny, or... we're licked too. But for you, there is no falsehood in heart, that the true mighty need not even falsify themselves."

"Yes? Well, we should get along better than fight, right?"

One man on the human side, the king of the land who summoned only the brave, said that to himself, but the demon king is not licking them apart. Until I got used to the conversation with the Demon King, I read the words in depth and they were empty, but the Demon King basically had no malice, and there was no back table, so he was simply saying what he thought.

"Huh... are you close? Individuals still don't know how to flatly say that in negotiations between nations, or between worlds. … is this the vessel of kings that unites one world"

It seems that you are reading the words of the Demon King on your own. Though I would not correct that mistake, as I am most welcome to highly value the Demon King.

Well, the meeting went on surprisingly well after that. Roughly speaking, for the time being, we have found ourselves making deals after limiting our size and sending ambassadors to both sides. But I discount the details because there was a lot of interesting lacking interaction about how to determine the item of the transaction and the market for the currency, and which city to put the embassy in.

They were representatives on the human side who had completely shriveled by gaining knowledge of the demonic world, but still only political and economic professionals, and during the negotiations they showed off their tongues that went into the hall inside.

Unsurprisingly, there was not much to learn because the demon kings' dictatorship had become entrenched, and because few people were good at negotiating such matters.

We were also arguing among nations on the human side over the allocation of trading rights with the demonic world, and in short, usurpation of rights, but we were allowed to learn a lot, including that stupidity.

It was already time for the day to drop when those discussions had come to a paragraph, so this day's meeting was over. I can't get distracted yet, but as far as I can tell today, it seems like it will continue to go peacefully after this, most importantly.

Aside from that, I'm concerned about another concern. Because I was actually being contacted by the brave man in the morning right now that he was resting in his room because he was not feeling well. It's already time to say it's night, and I may already be asleep, but I went to her room to try to make sure that if I was awake, I would pay her a gentle visit.

I came all the way to the front of Mr. Brave's room. I tried to knock on the door and realized there was no key. I also thought you weren't there, but I feel signs from inside the room.

"... brave man, it's Alice. How's it going?

It's bad to wake you up if you're asleep, and I walked into the room calling in a small voice. So what I saw was...

"... what should I do..."

She looked like she was going to disappear now and keep crying quietly.
