It's been two weeks since then.

The days since my return to Japan have been far more peaceful on the surface than the days in the other worlds I once spent as a brave man, but spiritually peaceful but turbulent.

Anyway, I was in a society with no electricity or car for over a year. Because I was perfectly adapted to your life, my life in modern Japan was convenient, but it seemed like a lot of hard work.

To give an example, in the morning you wake up naturally at the same time as the sun rises without a wake-up call, and at night you get sleepy at nine o'clock. Sometimes I accidentally tried to cross a crosswalk without being aware of the signal when I walked down the road, or I was freaked out in reaction to an automatic door opening through the front of the convenience store.

But it's time to get used to boulders. Humans are creatures that adapt to the environment.

Think about it. It was tough initially when I went to the other world, but I remember being able to adapt very well. I'm used to the wild boarding house going on in my traveling life, I'm used to the days not taking a bath for days, I can add flat use in the shade around it..., I'm getting sadder and sadder when I remember, let's not talk about this.

Well, over time, I've gotten used to living in Japan.

"A Bridge of Western Food"

This is the name of the store where my grandfather and father work as cooks. A three-story shop and ground floor part of our home is the shop, where our family lives on the second and third floors.

Open from 11am to 8pm, closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The food is all delicious, but fried cutlets, fries and other foods are recommended. I also keep cakes and other sweet things, so I often see neighborhood wives coming for tea.

Part-time work is better during the busy hours of day and night, but your mother and I also help the store between chores and schooling. Taking orders, peeling vegetables and relatively easy cooking in the kitchen are difficult, but as someone who wants to succeed this store in the future, they are often studied and enriched every day.

It's about that one day.

"Hey, Lisa. Get my order."

"Yes."

When I got home after school, I was asked by your father to pick up my order. The time is after 4 pm, halfway through lunch but early for dinner. This time is also free for shops, so part-timers on night shifts are not here yet.

I entered the floor with a basin filled with cold water and sardines in my hand. The customers in the store seem to be a group of young men and women.

Are you a traveler? A large travel bag is placed beside the table. If you look at it, female customers are blonde, and possibly foreign.... hey, there are no tourist destinations around here, but there are times when you're a traveler. It's something unusual, uh-huh.

And these two, they're strange and visionary......, the three of you in the world also say there are similar people, and maybe you've seen them somewhere very similar. Hey, haha.

"Hi, it's been a while."

"Looks like you made it home safely, I'm glad"

Yeah, well, it's the Demon King and Alice, right?

◆ ◆ ◆

"Um... thanks to you, I was able to get home properly. Oh, before you do, have a chill and a warm meal."

There's a little confusion, but it's that there are fathers in the kitchen, and we can't talk too much into it on this occasion. Plus, you have to deal with people who are more than willing to come as customers.

"Haha, you're in the opposite position as before"

"I thought you'd be more surprised, but you're surprisingly calm"

No, I'm pretty surprised.

"In the meantime, shall we order something? What do you recommend?

"Right, we're popular with fried food. I think you can eat a lot of things just because today's daily fixed meal is mixed fried. You can choose between rice or bread for a fixed meal."

"So I'm going to rice my daily meal, and what's Alice going to do?

"Then I'll have the same day as the Demon King in bread."

I'll take the order and go into the kitchen once to tell your father.

"Father, two daily shifts, each with rice and bread"

"Ok, carry me a fixed meal salad and soup first......, sounds like we were talking about something, do you know him?

"Yeah, we're friends."

"Right."

I'd be in trouble if they asked me too much about the root digging leaf digging relationship, but your father didn't seem willing to pursue it in depth and it was helpful.

"Then I'll take the salad and soup."

"Oh."

Both your father and grandfather have old-fashioned craftsmanship and low mouth count. Occasionally, part-time workers who just got in can have better trouble communicating, right?

"Thanks for waiting, it's a daily mixed fried meal"

I will arrange a plate of fixed meals before the two of them. The fries on the plate (bite cutlets, shrimp fries, squid fries, cream croquettes) are still freshly fried and make a puffy and oily bouncing sound.

"This looks delicious, then, I'll have it"

"I'll have it."

Demon King and Alice started eating mixed fried meals. These are two people with fat tongues, but apparently the taste of our store has turned into glasses and is eating at a fairly fast pace.

"Yeah, the texture of these clothes is good."

"Oh, you know what I mean? I buy bread for bread flour from my neighbor's bakery, and I just shred it for every day I use it at our store."

"I see. Demon King, why don't we study bread and yam for bread flour next time?

The two seem to enjoy a variety of flavor changes with a little fried tartar sauce, uster sauce, lemon, etc. in a tabletop container. By the way, both tartar and uster sauces are homemade.

The demon kings had a flourishing appetite and before they had had had enough, the plates were empty.

"Ugh, welcome."

"It was a pleasure. The price is... 2,000 yen for both of us because the daily rate is 1,000 yen. Oh, I have a lot of change, so I want two 500 yen and ten hundred yen balls."

"Yes, just 2,000 yen."

Alice took the money out of her purse, looking somewhat used to it, and accounted for it properly in Japanese yen. Well, I don't mind if they give me gold or something, but I'm a little concerned about how I got the Japanese yen.

"Okay, brave man. I know I have a lot to worry about..."

After eating and accounting, Alice is finally getting to the bottom of it. I also change my mind and listen.

"I want to leave my stuff at the hotel once before that, so can we talk about it later?

... It doesn't seem urgent this time either, so I don't mind. Besides, I'm at work right now, so I can't talk much longer.

"Shall we exchange contact details just in case?"

That being said, Alice and the Demon King took their smartphones out of their pockets. And I run my fingers lightly on the touch panel, manipulating them without getting lost.

... I think I just saw something strange.

"Here's your phone number and email address."

"Um... what's wrong with that smartphone?

"Oh, is this it? It's okay because it's something I bought with proper money. The kind ones sold it to me."

That information alone is the hard part to judge, but I'm very concerned about whether it's something I got through regular procedures.

"No, that was really kind of you, and besides selling me this, he even bothered to sell me things like passports that would be inconvenient to exchange the gold and precious metals I brought for the currency of this country or without my ID"

"It really helped you to get in close consultation with something, didn't it? I have to go say thank you before I go home."

That's totally out, isn't it?

Outlaw aromas pump from that ”kind person”.

But neither the Demon King nor Alice seem to realize that outrageously because of their neglect of common sense in this country. I think we both have something to remember before we get familiar with manipulating our smartphones, don't we?

"Well, we're going to stay at the hotel next to the two stations, so I'll be here any time you get in touch tonight or tomorrow."

"Online booking is handy, can't we do something similar in the Demon Realm (we)?

We exchanged contact details with each other. Demon King and Alice left. I got a little anxious because of the smartphone-related crap, but there won't be any existence in this country that can harm those two, and I'm probably okay with it.

... Rather, I am more worried about myself, who seems to be losing to the rest of the world because of their adaptability to Japanese society.
