Labyrinth Restaurant

Special Kids Lunch

Deep underground in a labyrinth city bustling with many, deep in a demon cave where many demons and traps once hissed, there is a small, beautiful restaurant.

Now the danger of demons and traps is gone and can be safely reached by magic formations for travel. but not because of its poor location in the first place, or because of the increase in the number of other restaurants competing on the ground, or even because it is full day after night, but precisely fits in the position of 'famous stores who know'.

Perhaps this is just the right time, not for making money in the first place, but only from the demon king who hobbyistically runs the store, because he risks being too busy to enjoy the food purely.

At the deepest end of such a labyrinth, there were two figures near the entrance to the restaurant. One is a fluffy chestnut-haired boy of superior stature and the other is an old grey-haired man dressed in butler clothes.

The little boy, who would probably still be about five or six years old, asked the old man standing behind him with a terribly harsh look on his face, yet unsuitable for that young one.

"Shit, there's a demon king here...?

"Yes, young lady. It should be."

The old man, called 'Jiji', replied in a cool tone symmetrically with the 'young lady' who looked nervous. The boy sipped once and then opened the restaurant door with a tense face.

Karan, Cologne.

"Wow!?"

The doorbell made a noise on the clap that opened the door, and the boy, surprised by the sound, put a docin and butt on the spot.

"Oh, dear, are you all right, young lady"

Even the old man tries to wake him up, but before that, there was someone who reached out to the boy.

"Oh, are you okay?

Alice, a former Demon King and now a waitress in this store, took the boy's hand and helped him up.

"Is there anywhere that hurts?

"Thank you, young lady. Oh, young lady?

Beautiful hair so radiant that even the finest gems look like roadside stone to me. Eyes so deep pale that neither the depth of the sea nor the height of the sky. The boy's heart rocked like never before when he saw Alice at first sight.

".............................. HA!? Oh, oh, I'm fine. Nowhere hurts."

The boy looked at Alice's face and was blushing as if she were foolish, but seemed to have regained her sanity after a few moments.

"Again, welcome, customers. I'll show you to your seats."

Let's go, young lady.

"Ugh, um, nice to meet you"

The boy and the old man were led by Alice to a seat for two and settled their hips.

"Then have a cold and a menu. Call me when you decide to place your order."

"Oh, I get it... by the way, ladies' pay, what's your name?

Alice, who was asked her name by the boy, will be named as she is, especially since it is not something to hide.

"Is that a name? My name is Alice."

"Right, Alice... good name. Alice, my name is Simon. My grandfather is Claude."

"Simon and Claude, right? Best regards,"

"Um, nice to meet you"

"Nice to meet you, Alice."

The Simon boy told Eagle Deep, and Mr. Claude and Alice bowed their heads to peck.

Now, the Simon boy speaking in this strangely stretched tone, whose identity was the son of the present king of Sakuriku, or Prince. Prince Simon, in his final capacity, was visiting the occasion today with a certain important mission, not for a meal. At least that's what he believed.

"I must find out who the demon king is and awaken everyone."

Yesterday's move to embrace reconciliation with the Devil Nation and to coexist is mainstream in the world, but naturally there are quite a few layers who don't find the flow interesting. This Simon was also one of those who believed in the Demon King as evil and did not doubt it.

That's also because from the time he was smaller than he is now, from the time when it was either heartfelt or inconscious, Claude, his parents and brothers and caregivers, had made him read the picture story of the Demon King appearing as a villain. Now it was perfectly possible to raise the strong value of demon king equals evil.

"You demon king, even if you can fool me, I can't."

Simon's father has many children, and Simon has nearly twenty same-bellied and half-brothers and sisters, but Simon, the youngest born after the current king entered old age, is especially adored by his older, separated brothers and sisters. He is a clean prince, but from the order in which he was born, he was not first involved in the struggle for succession to the throne, and it would therefore have been good to have been purely directed at the affection of his flesh parents.

However, the expressions of affection of the people at last had changed slightly. Where the hell have you been looking for, horror based painting stories of banned book designated threads with strangely realistic touch illustrations, etc. to be read instead of switched from next. When a young Simon is scared and cuddly, he tries to scare his parents, his brother and sister, and at the end of the day, even the servants and soldiers of the castle, every single time he tries to scare them, so it's quite something. It's a country of seriously free air in a feudal state.

"How can you believe in a demon king and all your brothers?"

These days Simon has also gotten used to it and is no longer scared by a little or softly suspicious talk (which the castle people are terribly sorry for), but still the Demon King in him is synonymous with evil.

In the image diagrams in the brain based on various picture stories, limbs, tuna, fangs, tentacles and disgusting shredded bristles grow all over the body, exhaling fire, poison and acid from the mouth and buttocks, and emitting monstrous rays in all directions from the many eyes in all parts of the body. I imagined a demon king was a nominally difficult system creature whose sanity would be galloping just by looking at it like that.

Simon can't believe the judgment of the people around him, like making friendships with that. Now, I'm just wondering if Dice Roll and subsequent decisions failed to get the sanity value to zero. Oh! In the window! In the window!

"But my sister said it, and it's not me who's wrong, it's everybody."

Only Simon and his closest eight-year-old sister agreed with Simon by saying, "Everyone doesn't see the truth," "My demon eyes clearly see who the Demon King is, and what a true mastermind looks like," and "Damn, quiet, my left arm," etc. The fourteen-year-old princess was developing some kind of mental illness that adolescent introverted boys and girls tend to suffer from.

If you're the only one who's saying it's weird, or Simon might have thought you were wrong too. But this time, I was convinced that my thoughts were right to hold back the words of my sister, who deeply trusts me, especially when I'm not even injured, but always wears a bandage around her arm.

It has nothing to do with this one, by the way.

"Why is my sister always wearing bandages and eye bandages when she's not even hurt?

"Hmm, that's hard to say from my mouth. Young lady, for now, I'd like to write down a record of your words and actions in detail and read it out in front of your sister in about five years."

"Hmm? I don't know, let's keep it that way. If that's what you're saying, there's no mistake."

He said there was an exchange a while ago that

Thus Simon stuck to his third brother from the top, who was to be on assignment as a diplomat, in order to determine who the Demon King was, and ostensibly came to the labyrinth city as a trip. The direction is adorable aside, and my family tends to be sweet on young Simon, so I didn't disagree with this when I said I wanted to go on a trip.

He said, "Well, you could have safely infiltrated the demon king's lair, but aren't you suspicious?

"It's all right, young lady. Next time, choose not to be suspicious."

Drinking cold water will also help to stop the upset when they enter the store, and Simon and Claude discuss their upcoming plans while choosing a menu.

"Well, the cooking picture looks pretty delicious...... you demon king, now are you willing to flex the folk grass with delicious dishes? But I'm not gonna get in that hand."

"That's reliable."

Simon turning the menu with parallax, but I couldn't narrow it down to one.

"This solder looks delicious, but I can't get rid of this one. Sweet things are good... but I can't eat them."

The food in this store is quite voluminous and it will be difficult to eat a serving with a small simon. I don't have a children's menu or anything like that because there are very few children coming to this store.

"Yes, I've come up with something good. Alice, do you have a minute?

Simon, looking lost, called Alice and said.

"There are a lot of things I want to eat, but it seems like I have too much. I'd like to eat a little bit of different dishes, can you?

"A little bit of variety?... Speaking of which, I remember hearing from Lisa before about cooking for kids like that... Yeah, you can, Simon."

"Well, I'll ask for it."

"I'm going to take this solder."

Alice walked into the back of the store when Simon and Claude communicated their orders.

Simon had an age-appropriate innocent smile about whether he was looking forward to cooking, but when he noticed Claude's gaze at it smiling, he told him to make excuses.

"If you pretend like I'm just an innocent child like this, the Demon King must be alert too. That's what this is all about. Well, you know what I mean."

"Yes, of course I do."

"Uhm, that's good."

He's really just an innocent child, except for his pretence and nothing, but Claude replied moderately without particularly denying it. He's an air readable man.

Simon went on to say that he was concerned about Claude's response.

"Yes, I've come up with a good operation to find the Demon King. I'll teach you something special."

"Well, that's interesting."

"Um, you just have to ask Alice. If you work in this shop, you might even know where the Demon King is."

"Cheng Cheng, you are admiring me, young lady"

If this store is the Demon King's shop as rumored, isn't Alice, who works here, also the Demon King's Hand? Even though he thought so, Claude did not point out any particular operational deficiencies. He's a very air-readable man.

"But before the operation, I'm hungry. My brother said you can't fight when you're hungry."

Simon remembered and said the words of his fifth brother from above respect. That obese brother is always saying something in the name of preparing for war. Too prepared for the war. Lately, I ran out of armor to wear, and I couldn't even ride a horse, but Simon, whose roots are honest, doesn't seem to have noticed the contradiction of his brother's words yet.

"Thank you for waiting. It's a special kids lunch and hamburger set."

"Oh, this is a brilliant treat! I praise you, Alice."

"Thank you. Now, young lady, let's have it."

Simon glanced at the plate he had been transported to. His eyes sparkled with age. Small hamburgers, fried shrimp served with tartar sauce, fries, petite tomatoes and small flag chicken rice line the larger plate. Add these to a separate plate with dessert pudding and orange juice for a 'special children's lunch'.

I thought abruptly about it with the Demon King and Alice because it's not usually on the menu, but it looked like it was finished indefinitely. When Lisa used to teach me how to cook a chicken rice flag called child lunch, I remembered that she was passionately talking about the importance of the flag and used yang branch and extra paper to rapidly build it. For the sake of the fact that I didn't have a pin on the importance right now. By the way, the flag contains an illustration of a cat that Alice deformed and drew.

"This looks delicious...... Mmm-hmm, that's a bigger solder."

While trying to get his hands on it, Simon realized Claude's hamburger was bigger.

"No, when I get older, my food gets really thin. Young lady, I was wondering if you could replace my Hanba-gu with something I could help you with?

"Uhm, good! I can't refuse a favor."

Claude offered to replace the hamburger with something that would instantly absorb Simon's hopes and yet stand up against him. He is a very readable man of the air.

Simon got his hands on the dish just after replacing the hamburger.

"I can't resist this!

Hamburgers with demiglass sauce seem to overflow gravy the more they chew, and fried shrimp is a delicacy that even the crispy clothes and prickly shrimp go with the sour flavoured tartare sauce. Between fatty dishes, throw the petite tomatoes into your mouth and your tongue will come back heavy with a refreshing acidity, and the hawky fries are in good shape to go with ketchup.

But whatever it is,

"I like this flag"

and chicken rice with a small flag was Simon's preference. Slightly sweet ketchup rice contains small chopped chicken, chopped vegetables, etc., and the taste alone was his preference.

"This flag is very good"

To the young boy's mind, the presence of the flag seems to have hit more than the taste. He wiped the flag removed from the chicken rice with a grater and liked it enough to put it in his trouser pocket.

"Well, I enjoyed it."

Simon shrugged as he finished eating even his dessert pudding and drank orange juice.

"It was delicious once."

Claude also seems to have enjoyed a slightly smaller hamburger.

"But don't forget, duh. I have to fulfill my true purpose."

"Yes, young lady, I know."

To be honest, Claude was hoping that he would be full and forget his original purpose, but I answered not to distract Simon. He's a man who can read the air by now.

"Alice, I need to ask you a few questions."

"What is it, Simon?

Simon asked Alice exactly as he had previously thought of the operation.

"Have you not seen in this area an unnameable system of creatures whose limbs, knobs, fangs, tentacles and disgusting shrinking hairs grow all over their bodies, spitting fire, poison and acid from their mouths and buttocks and emitting monstrous rays in all directions from the many eyes that are everywhere in their bodies?

"What is it, a creature whose sanity is about to go down?

Of course there can't be "around here," such as seeing Simon's imaginary creature, and Alice returned the denial. The secrets of the demonic world. The deep sea. Occasionally there are demons of unnameable systems inhabited, so if you look for such creatures, you might be somewhere.

"Well... I came to this store to find out who the Demon King is, but was it eyebrow spit that there was a Demon King here"

"Did you mean the current Demon King?!?"

Alice asked back in surprise. That would be so.

"Um, of course I've never actually seen it, but it was more or less like that when it was an illustration of a picture story I'd seen before. Many of the people of the world are in favor of coexistence with the Demon King, but I cannot believe it. So I thought I'd actually look at the Demon King and judge."

"Were you..."

Alice was wondering what to do. Anyway, he's a little kid, so he can't imitate how much he's hostile to the Demon King, but he appeals to violence. If this were an adult, I could also take the means by which the value of sanity would be relentlessly negative through zero.

Eventually, after being lost, Alice decided to actually have the Demon King meet Simon to make him understand that there was no danger.

"Simon, this is the Demon King."

"Hi, I'm the Demon King. Nice to meet you, Simon."

Look at the demon king Alice brought in. Simon said suspiciously.

"That's normal. Is this man really the demon king?

"It's true."

"It's true. The illustration of the story is just an illustration in the first place."

"Mmm, if Alice says so, let's believe it"

Simon honestly believed Alice would say.

"But regardless of your appearance, you must also determine if your mind is evil. Demon King, can you prove that you are not evil?

"That's... that's hard."

The Questioned Demon King couldn't come up with a way to prove his heart wasn't evil and twisted his head. Well, I'm not wacky about what happens because I couldn't prove anything.

But Alice answered the troubled demon king on her ass.

"I'll answer that question. The Demon King picks up garbage if it falls on the side of the road, holds it instead if there is an old man with big baggage, washes his hands properly when he returns from the outside, gives food to those who are hungry, searches for parents with him if he is lost, on heavy rainy days he sprinkles rain clouds with fist pressure as he goes to see how the fields are doing on behalf of the farmer, takes care of his foster parents if he throws away dogs or throws away cats, and if he is unemployed he uses his job mediation, and if it snows, he builds snowmen and wiggles for his children, and if the change falls, he delivers them to the guard regardless of his forehead, and disposes the ingredients until he finds a radish skin or leaf, and if he destroys the world, the better. It's all I've seen with these eyes, so there's no mistake."

Exactly water on the stand. We spoke in a breath with the momentum of the torrent.

The Demon King wondered just a little bit why Alice knew about it until when we weren't together, but soon forgot that question too because it's basically a probable character.

And that's all Simon was told at once.

"Really... Really... No, it's what Alice says, let's believe it. The Demon King is not evil."

I shrugged in a heavy tone, as I realized something.

And turn toward the demon king,

"Demon King, you certainly don't seem to be a bad man. … but you are still my enemy"

and said looking straight into the eyes of the Demon King.

Finally, he told Alice, "I'll be back," and Simon and Claude left.

◆ ◆ ◆

"I guess I hated you, I thought you were the one my little one likes..."

In the store after closing, the Demon King was very rare for him at my pace and only a little depressed.

"You don't know what caused it. I don't think he's a bad kid, and I don't think he'd say that for any reason."

Alice couldn't figure out why Simon told the Demon King, "You're the enemy," etc. Plus, I'm even more wondering because the misconception that the Demon King is a bad guy should be solved in itself.

"I don't know."

"I don't know."

The dull Demon King and Alice, on a level that was difficult to name or to understand by the rest of us, didn't know why Simon said it and haunted his head until late at night.
