Labyrinth Restaurant

ss adventurer and adult child lunch

Around lunch one day, hungry young adventurers came to the Demon King's Restaurant as usual. It was two regular Alans and May who came, always four together. It's unusual for them, and I don't see Eliza and Dan.

Though we're alone, we're not talking about dates or anything of color. I'm off training today, and I'm breaking up into two sets in the morning to buy the stuff I need for my next job. Alan, the luggage owner, presents a sturdy hemp shopping bag on both hands. I'm still in the middle of shopping, but that means I'm here to tummy in a good spot in Kiri.

I sat in my seat as usual, sipping the cold all at once and taking a breather. The sun is strong this morning and we are both sweating on our foreheads.

"It looks delicious."

"Right ~"

What Alan and May are looking at is the dish that guests in their seats right around the corner are eating, a children's lunch. A well-dressed boy, who often sees himself in this store, was tongue-in-cheek at many dishes.

"But what are you..."

"Yes, you can only order little ones, right?"

Even the Alans, who have been regulars since the early days of this restaurant and have dominated the majority of the dishes on the menu table, still exist with few menus they have yet to eat. One of them was your child's lunch in front of you.

It includes hamburgers, fried shrimp and chicken rice, plus even dessert. The content of the dish varies slightly from day to day, but for the most part it is a combination like this. I've ordered these dishes separately and ate them, but I feel like they're very interesting.

If you strongly ask your favorite demon king, he might make it.

"It's embarrassing to go that far."

"Right ~"

I can't help but notice the boulders. Although young people are only in their late teens, they are of adult age in this world. If this was around Gard, you might ask for it without worrying about the outside world the other way around, but more importantly, you're still reluctant to be seen as childish because you're still young.

But such was the hand of salvation reached out to them. I just gave up and tried to pick another dish,

"Then there's this kind of dish, how about it?

And Alice has been calling me. Apparently, Alan and May were hearing conversations.

"What kind of food is that?"

"Uh, it's just a dish with a childish lunch vibe, only by the name of Turkish rice..."

Alice's described dish called 'Turkey Rice' is a dish served on a single plate with a dried curry with tonkatsu and domigrass sauce and with a spaghetti napolitan or salad. It's called appearance and a good atmosphere, there is certainly something that leads to your child's lunch. So Alice remembered the Turkish rice she had eaten when she went to Japan with the Demon King and recommended it.

"'Rice' is rice, isn't it, 'Turkey'?

"I think it was the name of the country."

"You're a country I've never heard of ~. So this is a dish from a country called 'Turkey' ~?"

"Probably not. What?

Alice, who has shallow earth-related knowledge, makes a mistake because of her name, but Turkish rice is a western dish originating in Japan, not Turkish. If Lisa were here on this occasion, she would have corrected the mistake.

Some types use fried rice or pilaf rather than dry curry, and there are theories about its origin. There is also a theory that the Turkish rice dish that has become the prototype of the pilaf called 'Pirau' comes from, or that the three varieties of 'Cuttlefish, Rice and Napolitan' have been overlaid in a tri-colored tricolour colour and the tricolour has been turned into Turkey, but we do not know the clear origin.

"Well, I'd like two servings of that, please"

"Yes, I did."

Anyway, it looks like Alan and May decided to try the dishes Alice recommended. It's an item that's not on the menu, but there's no ingredient problem because it can be done with an existing dish combination. Alice quickly went to tell the Demon King about her order.

◆ ◆ ◆

"Sorry to keep you waiting, it's Turkey Rice"

Alan and May stare at the two plates Alice has brought in to eat.

"Looks delicious."

"Looks delicious ~"

Above the aromatic dry curry sits a crisp, fox-fried tongue of cutlets, topped with domigrass sauce. Next to the dry curry is a Neapolitan with more ketchup and petite tomatoes and broccoli as a colour.

I made it improvised as I remembered, it felt properly soled, and the Demon King was happy with the finish.

"Well, hurry up"

"I'll have it ~"

Alan and May went on to attack Turkey Rice with a fork in one hand. Let Domiglass sauce smoke to such an extent that the crunchiness of the cutlet's clothes does not disappear, and take a sip first.

The dried curry is then carried to the mouth, where it feels sweeter and more savory than spicy. I try it cuttlecurry-style with the cutlets or with the Domiglass sauce and I feel a change in flavor and never get tired of it even though it has a dark flavor.

Neapolitan sandwiched between them is intensely sweet from ketchup, but the finely chopped shaky onions and bell peppers in small quantities tighten the flavor and do not leave you feeling rough.

As I imagined while watching your children's lunch, I can feel some different delicacies from eating tonkatsu, dried curry, and napolitan separately.

"It's delicious, but I feel something's different"

"Yes - I think it's kind of missing -?"

Neither Alan nor May seem to have a clear idea for themselves, but they seem to feel strange and lacking.

"Is it missing? Speaking of which, I don't think so..."

Alice is also strangely inclined to her neck. I don't know for sure, but when you say it, I'm starting to feel like I'm missing something. It's for your child's lunch, and it's not enough for Turkish rice, what the hell is that?

One more hand "something" is missing until you get to a hundred points. But I can't remember that "something". Even if I don't know the answer, there's no harm in it, but I feel unsettled as if things have caught in the gap between my back teeth.

"Alice, what's the matter with you with your difficult face?

"Oh, Simon. Actually..."

As the three of us twisted our heads in front of Turkey Rice, oh and not like this, Simon, who finished his children's lunch, spoke to Alice.

"Oh, my God. I don't know."

"Simon, do you know what you're missing?

"Mm-hmm. Rather, it's strange that Alice doesn't get it."

Oh, my God, Simon seems to have figured out what's missing.

"It's up to me to decide what's missing!

That said, I confidently took the flag out of my trouser pocket. Of course, it's something that was stabbed in the chicken rice for your child's lunch. I saw that. Alan and May...

"No, that's not it."

"I'm not old enough to want a flag on a boulder ~"

And I didn't do it. Apparently, the missing item was not a flag.

"No way, it wasn't...?

"Sounds like it. Uh... don't be too distracted."

I just let it out confidently, and it seems to be getting incorrect and embarrassing. Alice is careful and encouraging, but that, in turn, seems to be increasing the damage to the spirit, and Simon is leaning down and blushing.

"Damn, I'm still sweet too..."

"" "Ah!

Alice, Alan and May, who overheard Simon's grunt of "sweetness," seem to have noticed at the same time.

"Not enough dessert ~"

Yes, what is at your children's lunch and not at Turkish lunch is the presence of dessert. Alan and May ordered dessert after dinner and went home satisfied.

"I can't help it..."

On the other hand, there was a remaining dissatisfied boy, but as soon as Alice, who distracted her, had a treat for the cake, she was in a good mood, and eventually everything settled round.
