Evening Festival

"Demon King, I've got a drink for you."

"Thank you, Alice"

"Lisa was fine with juice, right?

"Yeah, I'll still weigh my liquor"

The Demon King received a glass of clear golden alcohol, while Lisa received a glass of juice mixed with citrus and peach juice from Alice. Alcohol and juice are chilled by the kinks like midwinter snow. I'm sure he stuck a bottle in the ice until just before he poured it into the glass.

There's still a lot of time before the sun goes down, but there are also a lot of people around the three enjoying their day drinks. Complimentary behavioral alcohol and juices and treats for children and people who can't drink alcohol are handed out generously throughout the city.

The handlers are civilians temporarily hired in by the festival's operational headquarters, and there are quite a few of them, but they have a long line of snakes as early as possible because there are far more people waiting to receive them. In some places, it's so hard to hear the voice of the person right in front of you with so much hustle and bustle.

It has always been a city as crowded as a festival, but even shortly before the actual festival, it seems to get even more busy.

Just before, yes, just before.

Aside from whether that designation is correct because it is still daytime, we refrain from commencing the festival the next day, and this afternoon it is a whole eve festival.

But the cause of the hustle and bustle is not just due to the uplifting mood. There are actually significantly more people than usual.

tourists and streaming merchants and entertainers from outside in addition to the original inhabitants, as well as demons.

Until now, it has been deliberately restricted to limited exchanges to avoid unnecessary collisions at the civilian level, but until the end of the series of event periods from the holding of the Evening Festival, it has lifted that restriction on an experimental basis.

There was already interaction in the morning city and elsewhere, but from the whole point of view, both humans and demons are more likely to see each other for the first time.

Saying it in a bite with the Demon Nation does not make that individual difference in human ratio. Prior announcements were well known about the characteristics of the major races and so on, but it was feared that some people would actually feel some sense of repellence if they saw it. Is it not premature to relax AC restrictions? A race as indistinguishable from humans as Alice is only a polar part of the whole thing from the total number of Demons.

Human entry into the city on the side of the demon world has also begun, but both worlds were ready to lay down their full posture as long as they could think together and to respond immediately if trouble arose.

But aside from whether we should say "unexpectedly," so far, no major problems seem to have arisen. It's a clap out, but if there's nothing, I've never been over it.

There was actually ura in this "nothing" as well.

People in the human world are also well aware that this deregulation is a kind of test case.

Few people, from the individual level to the national level, make a huge profit in dealing with the demonic world, but what do those who make money that way think next?

The answer is "I want to make more money".

If no major problems arose during this deregulation period, it was in this period that a large number of people expected a trend to increase the size of the transactions, which are now subject to significant restrictions. It's not that someone is officially making it clear, but it's not that much of an off-target idea.

Conversely, if something goes wrong, that chance gets fussy. No, it could also mean that regulations will be tighter than they currently are.

So, the guiding principle of trying not to cause trouble with the Demons was shared among humans, mainly those involved in some sort of business, from civilian level below to national level orders above. More than half of it was due to the lower heart, but still you shouldn't be complaining more than it's effective this way.

"Sounds kind of like Gyoza"

"It's quite delicious"

Lisa and Alice are eating a dish called Tsantu that they bought from the street.

The wheat skin is wrapped with lamb ground meat and chopped vegetables, and the exterior is shaped like a child of water dumplings and ravioli. Since it is boiled, is it somewhat of a water dumpling when the cooking method is added?

Even though it's inexpensive enough to buy children's pennies, it's all overflowing with a large cup of wood. It has a slightly unique smell that it seems to use adult sheep (matton) rather than lamb (lamb) without habit, but it tastes like the intensity of the habit is irresistible to those who like it.

One drink at a time is too much, so Alice and Lisa ordered just one drink and ate half at a time.

Few merchants are encouraging commerce from today on the eve of the night festival, even though the production starts tomorrow. Some of them serve rare dishes that you won't normally be able to eat, and you'll enjoy unusual fun just by eating and walking.

The stall operating licence itself can be easily obtained by an outside merchant by submitting documents to the operating headquarters, but whether or not a good place can be taken will be a lottery.

There were also a handful of fools who had their business licenses revoked because they had their hands on buying and selling places that were originally banned. Though few followed, it seemed to have turned out to be a good show in the best sense.

"They're both doing awesome stuff over there."

"Wow, is that it?

At Alice and Lisa's, the Demon King, who had moved freely away by himself, returned.

If you look in the direction of his fingers, there's a little crowd there. I was curious Alice stretched her back...... she didn't even look tall enough at all, but instead Lisa taught me (if you jump high, you can see it, but in such a crowd, if you jump in a skirt, you'll be very embarrassed. As a lady (lady) I can't very well see it).

"It's a whole pork roast. Looks like he's cooking on the side of the road with tools."

There were the sights of two big men naked in their upper bodies roasting pigs as they became sweaty. They perform to bring a furnace for round baking and bake it on a crowded outing.

One of the big men is adding additional charcoal to adjust the addition and subtraction of the fire, and the other man is groping the pig pierced by an iron pile by turning the handle shaped handles attached to the end of the pile.

Watching the fireworks is better with a large brushed, sauce-like brown liquid that I occasionally use to paint, and the scent of it burning with the fat of the pigs exudes violent momentum.

"Okay, it would be like this mon"

"Come on, if you want to eat, behave yourself!

Looks like you baked it up just in time.

The big boys still look breathtaking here, one of them daring to scrape off the surface of a grilled pig with a big knife and serve it on a plate, the other accounting for the gallery opponent who got together. Nature and rows formed, and the three demon kings rushed in line.

"Yeah, this is good!

"The skin is delicious, the skin"

"You're going to want white rice"

If you ask me, it's simply a hassle of the flavor of roasted pork, but the performance of roasting itself seemed to taste so good that it became a spiritual seasoning.

The sweet, salty flavour of the sauce is well tamed by the moderately fatty and crispy skin area, while the meat area has a juicy finish that leaves enough gravy. It would be delicious with rice, as Lisa would say, and it would be great as a dish for alcohol. There are now a few bad adults around who are starting to serve alcohol quickly despite the streets.

"Whoa, you mustn't get in the way. Let's say we move the place when we're done eating."

The rows just increase in length with the luxurious look and appetizing aromatic attractiveness.

After eating pork, the three of them decided to walk a little without their stomachs.

Cheerful music came from nowhere.

There are some entertainers all over the city, so it looks like someone is playing.

At first it was just a monotonous melody of whistle sounds, but gradually percussion and string sounds enter and even people's voices mix up there. If you were a regular band, you wouldn't be such a strange fit, so I'm sure the entertainers with the music industry are improvising together.

One line of demon kings turned their feet in the direction of the audible without anyone mentioning it.

Then, the noise, which was at first a hustle and bustle, gradually becomes stronger, so that each and every component of the sound can be felt.

The source of the sound was around in front of the Adventurer Guild on Boulevard.

Today, the adventurers all seem to be drinking and playing around to bathe in the middle of the day, except for those who are hitting security all over the city at the request of the Alliance.

It was quite terrible, to say the least, for those who dance disastrously to the tone of the instrument, for those who sing hectic songs and for those who run around drunk and dressed half naked alike. Although I may not have to say that it is normal in relative terms because the whole city is in a similar situation.

The guild itself is open and closed, and the staff on the inside come out of the building and watch the performances of the artists with their drinks and food in one hand.

"Oh, that one."

I discovered an acquaintance among the performers Alice plays. The Demon King and Lisa also notice a moment late.

Swinging a red twin tail to burn, Freya was shouting a loud, but unimaginable, delicate singing voice from its massive mess of character. The boulder is the only real job, and even if you just look at the height of your voice, it's the difference between cloud mud and adventurers who are sounding dumb around you.

Alice and Lisa already knew that skill in relation to the special training they were doing together, but this is how they seemed to sing objectively and recognise her strength as a singer. How much Freya's leg doesn't have to be pulled in the tournament will be the division of the game, so the perception will also lead to pressure as it is.

"Ah."

Looks like Freya also noticed the three people who were watching behind the audience. I've been greeting you with a boom and wave as you sing. The three of you will also reply with a flickering wave of your hands.

For not being a more decent orchestra than the original, etc., the entertainer jumping in over time joins the ring of performances, and the thickness of the sound and the heat of the field go up gnarly.

Copper coins and silver coins poured down in the pot to throw in a twist because someone in the artist thought they'd put it down, overflowing long ago.

It may be more accurate to describe the sound shock striking the skin of the billowing and audience and no longer "feeling" the sound rather than "listening".

The dark orange sunset illuminated the improvisational orchestra and the audience and, combined with the fierceness of the field, it seemed as if all the things you could see and hear were hot and burning up hot everywhere.

"Ah, the king."

"" The king?

The music viewing was cut up about the same (even as the sun went down, the performance continued, so we didn't know when it was going to end) and a cat passed before the three of us resumed our stroll. Alice and Lisa look strangely at the demon king calling the cat "the king".

"Oh really... Hmm, I see... thank you. I'll go."

The demon king and cat seem to be talking about something.

"Um, can you even talk to a cat named Demon King?

"It seems so. I was flattered when you told me."

Cat language (?) I don't know. The two seem a little bored. Come on, the Demon King and the cat cut the story off without talking so long, and the cat disappeared into the back of the alley.

"I've been told a good place, so let's go"

"" A good place?

Apparently, the Demon King was given some kind of recommended spot by the cat.

The two questioning faces also walked with the Demon King when they didn't know.

◆ ◆ ◆

"You had a place like this."

"I have to thank that cat."

The three of them came to the heart of the city, a gateway that separated the demonic world from the human world.

The two non-Demon Kings were wondering if they were going straight to the Demon Realm side, but it was the outside of the gate that led the way. It was a staircase for inspection installed in a position that was invisible to the public. It went up that staircase to the top, and it came over the gate.

It's usually a closed gate at this hour, but since it's open from today, there are signs of a large number of people moving at the feet of the three of them. Make it a business, make it a tourist mountain, and there are a few people in both worlds who want to touch the air of the other world.

But I also forgot about those signs now.

From above the gate you can see the labyrinth city lit by the moonlight. It was indeed a stunning spectacle that there was only one to be recommended.

The precision is about the height of a three-story or four-story house, so it's not quite as advanced, but it still felt like the hustle and bustle of the eve festival, which I had felt until earlier, was far apart.

At this height, the wind is blowing through hard because there is nothing to block the perimeter.

Cool wind with signs of autumn starting to cross.

It cools the body's fire lights. The wind feels comfortable.

"The moon is beautiful"

Lisa, who was looking up at the sky, turned her back on the Demon King and Alice and zeroed in.

"Yeah, that's right"

"It's going to be sunny tomorrow for this."

The Demon King and Alice casually returned it that way.

Lisa, who took it, looked back and smiled bitterly for only a moment, then looked up at the sky again.

Really, it was such a beautiful month to be sad.
