Alice Sensei's Cooking Class Application (2)

The term "adventurous" may be used to mean "risking for a significant return".

Then I guess the race of adventurers, whose work is the act of adventure, live a thrill filled with sarcasm and danger and neighborhood from day to day. It can often seem that way from people who don't know the inside of the adventurer, but reality isn't going to be out there either.

In the first place, there are two kinds apart from "adventure" for adventurers.

One is that the job description and the rewards you get from it are clear, such as taking a job brokered by the guild to exorcise dangerous organisms, escort clients, and harvest difficult herbs to cultivate.

Some of them have states and lords as clients, specialising in the great task of investigating geology and water quality to secure new mining developments and new water sources.

Not everyone can do such a great job because it will require a high degree of expertise, but a few adventurers who have been active for a long time have academic knowledge alongside scholars if they are in their field of expertise.

And it's another kind of "adventure," but this one doesn't pass the guild. So it makes sense that even ordinary people who aren't registered to the guild can do it whenever they want to.

There is no limit to its scope, not to ask for it, but only to go out to the labyrinth at the will of the individual adventurer, to challenge dangerous monster opponents to try their arms, to explore land that is not on the map in search of the unknown, etc. It is this type that will be close to "adventure" in its original sense.

Profits earned without an intermediary fee by the Alliance will go all the way into your own pocket, so if you succeed, you will make a great deal of money. If you have a client in the same treasure hunt and they ask you to do so, the treasure found remains in the hands of the client, and only the rewards determined by the original contract will pass to the adventurer.

But, on the other hand, the risk can be proportionately greater if you succeed.

You have to do it with your own talent, without the help of your guild, neither gathering information nor your peers, and if the contents of the crate are carrappo, all the money and time you need to prepare will be wasted.

For this reason, those who want to take adventures that don't pass the guild will be naturally cautious.

Undertake a close investigation beforehand so that you can accurately grasp your strengths without being excessive or insignificant, work out a plan to prevent any unexpected from happening, and make an immediate decision to pull up if you feel a danger even if you had reached a position where you could reach the treasure. Such a careful character is required to knock on a stone bridge and not cross it (well, some of them are out of standard to let the strength of your arm and luck make an achievement without using your head too much, but that's the exception. I'm not saying who. as soon as a normal adventurer imitates it).

It is said that it is the one who can thoroughly examine the cautious, no, cowardly nature by its paranoid nature that is a good adventurer. Keep the risks as far away as possible, minimize the occasions where you rely on luck, and only do what you can always be sure of.

Oddly enough, that was the opposite of the impression of the word "adventurous".

As much as I dare to choose such a precarious operation, neither young adventurer nor he is often a curious and thrill-loving personality or a dreamy person who wants to earn treasure or become a monster exorcism hero.

But it is also true that there are many who gradually forget their dreams in the sight of the aforementioned realities, who seek more immediate costs of living than gold and silver treasures, and who inert and repeat or transfer only safe jobs through the guild.

Well, it's been a long forethought, but let's get down to business at last.

Young adventurers in this story.

Whether by chance or fate, the Quadruple visited the Demon King's shop as their first guest.

What is the way they are as adventurers, fulfilled?

Alan, Dan, May and Eliza and a pair of five with Freya added there were proceeding with Gasagoso through the dense forests of the tropics.

A polar-colored bird, not seen in the northern lands, rings with gaagaa and a tall voice as if to alert strangers. Some of the grass flowers and trees you see in the aisle are rare medicinal herbs, etc., and that's going to be the only property you'll ever have if you fully sit back and collect it.

This unnamed deserted island floats with potpounds in the ocean more than a thousand kilometres south of almost the labyrinth city. It's a mystery that I don't think humans have ever set foot in since history.

Freya, who wanted to get a flying ship and have an adventure, and the other four who were supposed to hang out with it, thought about going somewhere they couldn't normally go because of it, and happened to get off to this deserted island they saw from above.

It's already completely autumn around the labyrinth city, but this was no different enthusiasm than midsummer when we came all the way south. Sometimes there is a lot of humidity, and sweat comes out quickly, whether you wipe it or not.

When you're always on the road,

"Ah."

A giant snake was attacked by Freya, who was leading the way. She was about to be swallowed whole out of her head without even showing a particular resistant bare gesture...... in the next moment, the first half of the snake's body was completely carburized by overwhelming thermal energy.

"Are you okay ~?"

"Yeah, I'm fine, I'm fine!

At first, May called out to see if Freya was hurt, but it's an easy-going one.

Rather than that, the snake today was also aware of its existence beforehand and warned it, but as a Freya, I just let it strike as it was because I didn't have to bother avoiding it. At this rate, I didn't even want to worry about it.

Nowadays it will come with an "ex," but the title of the Demon King Army Four Heavenly Kings is not Dada. This is how it looks, Freya's pretty strong.

"Just watch out for forest fires."

"Yeah, it's okay, it's okay!

Just in case Alan cautions you this way, you don't have to worry about a fire.

Freya, like Alice, is little different in appearance from a human being, but its racial characteristics make it possible to manipulate the flames like hands and feet.

Not only can she manipulate a flame by magic, but she can transform the flesh into a flame itself if she cares about it, of a species called the Fire Fairy in being greatly separated from the Spirit Species.

Flamed, she's a willing energy body, so to speak. Any physical attack does not make sense if you are in a flaming state with no entity, and by extensively burning in an attack, you can expand as much heat and range of attack as you have magic and flammable materials.

Well, if you're about Alice, it's not impossible to jam (jamming) the inflammation itself by super-precision manipulation of magic, and bump the defenseless flesh with physical attacks, but you have the ability to say it's almost invincible against most of your opponents.

It's something with Freya like that, so there's little tension or anything about Alan and the others, even though they're going through an unknown secret. For once, I'm on my guard as usual, but if you see many sights of the demons attacking you soon to pull out your sword, you won't be forced to lose your mind either.

From what I saw from above before landing, this uninhabited island was roughly shaped in three layers: a small mountain in the center, with forests covering its surroundings, plus sandy beaches facing the sea on its exterior.

There are palm trees growing on the sandy beach, or you can see colorful fish swimming in the crystal clear waters, in a whole southern paradise and so on.

If fully developed, it may become popular as a resort in the future. If you find out around Cosmos, you will certainly be happy to proceed with your development plan.

The Alans unloaded a theatre boat on the sandy beach and were aiming for a small mountain in the middle of the island through a relatively thin part of the forest.

If that bothered you, you could have landed directly in the middle of the island, but why are you doing such a laborious thing, because the purpose of this trip is to Zubari "enjoy the adventure".

It was the result of giving priority to Freya's opinion, which provided a means of mobility, but for the incumbent adventurer, adventure was a job and it seemed surprisingly blind spot to do adventure for fun.

It reminds me of my spiritual fullness, my childhood excitement when I dreamed of an adventurer, different from when I was aiming for money, and lighter nature and footsteps.

As if I had gone back to when I was playing in my hometown village with tree branches on my sword, my heart purely seeking adventure itself was only gushing up in them.

Fun times are fast passing.

I left the coast around noon, but it was already time for the sun to go down.

"All right, let's rest here today"

I just found a place I pioneered in the woods, where Alan, the leader, defined it as a campsite. The rest of us don't seem to disagree.

Well, there's a lot of work to be done when it's a camp. It's still a long way off to get some rest, I can't relax.

Let me list a few tasks in turn that I have to do.

The first thing that matters is to light the fire.

Fire is also used for boiling and cooking, and this is absolutely necessary because there is also a risk of being attacked by wild beasts and extinguishing them altogether if someone does not constantly turn to sleep at night to keep the fire going.

Next, secure the water. Equipment and body cleaning if possible.

If there are rivers and springs around you, it's something you should do as much as you can. Long periods of uncleanness increase the risk of becoming ill. However, we must be careful about water quality as there may also be parasites and germs (although organisms called fungi are not yet known in this world, it is empirically known that objects like the vegetables of disease (under) prefer dirt and can be dealt with to some extent with heat). Especially for use as drinking water, it should be boiled once, even if it is cumbersome.

And production of sleeping beds.

What you need to be aware of while you sleep is a drop in body temperature. When your body gets cold, you lose a lot of strength. It could mean that you sleep but instead drain your strength. Put up a tent if you can. In it, even if that's impossible, you have to at least wear a blanket.

Finally, meal preparation.

Because any strong person who doesn't have to eat all day happens to be weak and no longer adventurous.

That's how adventurers in the camp are supposed to have to work busily, but they don't even move when it comes to this, it's a relaxed mood.

Regardless of Freya, an amateur in this field, the other four should still be laying low on what they can't get distracted about, but they're all showing off saying that everything they need to do today is done.

"There it is, there it is"

and Eliza, who was looking for something from inside her luggage, took out a silver bell with a beautiful decoration.

And... oh, my God.

Just ringing that bell has solved their beds, safety and diet and all the other problems all at once.

◆ ◆ ◆

Well, let's rewind the timeline here for a few days or so.

"It's delicious, hassle-free, no more luggage, and I can do it outdoors. Let me know what you cook like that ~"

Alice's answer, pushed by such impossibility,

"No, no, no, I can't do that."

That was extremely common sense.

No, but I made an effort.

I also borrowed the hands of the Demon King and Lisa to try to make calorie bars that were baked by mixing grains, dried fruits, soy flour, etc. with more sugar.

Efficiently obtain all kinds of essential nutrients and calories, and since they are light, they are not bulkier than traditional preserved foods. Well, it wasn't a bad thing to do, but it was amazingly awesome to have a subtle nutritional food moddle.

"Honestly, it's not that delicious"

During the tasting, there was also a very awkward air flowing because Cosmos made it clear what everyone thought but didn't care to say. There was little room to devise flavors because preservativeness, nutritional aspects and portability had to be the first priority.

Or around Lisa's suggestion that we buy (not moddly) products of that hand in Japanese convenience stores, supermarkets, etc. without bothering to make our own, the development of groundbreaking preserved foods was discontinued.

And while this is a delicious way to eat locally sourced ingredients in the open air, I can say this one is even more difficult.

First of all, there is no other way to sort out edible ingredients than to gain experience and deepen your knowledge, and you can't help but have a limited variety of cookware and seasonings where you collect ingredients.

Raw is out of the question given the risk of food poisoning. It is also difficult to steam or fry due to tools and oils. When it comes to cooking methods, there's basically only one choice: boil or bake.

We held our heads together in that reality.

No, it's not that if Maes compromises on the flavour of the meal during their adventure, that will solve it, but because their tongues are completely fat, they can't stand an unpleasant meal.

"Even during the adventure, I wish I could have eaten dishes like this store ~..."

I also feel that that is too high a desire for boulders, but it is also a fairly real issue. Even if you are depleting your mental strength with creepiness every meal you are supposed to get energized, it can also lead to fatal mistakes.

"Well, why don't you just take a break and put something in your stomach? If I were hungry, I wouldn't have a good idea."

Lisa suggested a meal to Mae with a dark face.

It's about time to get hungry, as I've had a little tasting of nutritional food modoki since eating before.

"Right - then..."

and the next moment Mae communicated her order,

"Oh, you should have done that."

Lisa came up with the idea of having no ex or child to solve all the problems and, in a way, a way out of the way.

◆ ◆ ◆

"Thanks for waiting."

A few minutes after Eliza rang the bell, Lisa suddenly appeared in the deep woods of an uninhabited island with a plate of baked pizza.

She deformed the holy sword embodied in her hands into a table with a chair for the number of people, and she went back, "Well, I'll come back later to get the plate," she said.

Yes, Lisa's idea was truly simple and extreme.

If you can't afford to prepare a delicious meal for the adventurer himself, you just have to go forward to the local area. I'd say this was a unique thought for Lisa, who could have had the idea of 'pizza = a classic before she went out'.

Carrying food from the kitchen to the floor as long as you know where it is, or to an uninhabited island a thousand kilometers away, is hardly going to change the hassle for the Demon King or Lisa or Alice.

Earlier, the bell was a magic tool I had given you in advance to reward your position.

"No, that reasoning is strange"

There was also a common sense opinion that, because of the loss of appetite and other greed, the proposal was eventually adopted.

"The pizza you eat in nature is delicious!

"Right ~"

Alan and others near common sense laugh bitterly in this, but I have no objection to the fact that the pizza is delicious. I swallowed all the words I wanted to say with melted cheese.

"Ugh, wheat wine (beer) tastes good when you sweat"

"If you drink too much, it'll sound like tomorrow."

Dan vigorously drinks up the barley jock that Lisa delivered with the pizza. Eliza also said something that would flatter her mouth, but she drank it with a lot of momentum, "It's bad for the pizza," she said.

You may think it's suicidal with reduced judgment, such as drinking in the woods that you don't know what's out there.

"I'm here to lower my plate. And..."

It was a chair and a table. The holy sword melted into one large piece of metal, which now deformed into a large domed shape.

"There is a divider inside, so use it separately for both men and women. I'll clean this up tomorrow, too."

There's no way you're there, such as a demon that can break through the strength of the Holy Sword. This is all the safest accommodation in the world.

It's just that boulders don't have water-turning facilities like toilets, baths, etc.

"Follow me if you want to use the bath"

That's the story of once you and Lisa go back to the labyrinth city and rent it behind the Demon King's shop. Being able to get dressed and hand washed without worrying about heterosexual eyes also seemed quite appealing to the women in particular.

You know exactly why I used the expression "no ex, no child, no evil way" earlier.

Unsurprisingly, it was Freya who was opposed to the adoption of these proposals to the end (which was the reason why they would no longer be adventurous), but the suggestion to take a bath every day seemed fascinating. Ultimately, he succumbs to desire, eats pizza, and soaks himself in a hot hot tub and sweats his adventures.

Thus the first day of their adventure ended comfortably on top of this by a luxurious three-piece set: a delicious meal, a hot bath and a safe bed.

Don't you dare touch on whether they are right as the way adventurers are today. At least I'm sure I'm enjoying it purely, so I'm sure it's not a bad thing...... isn't it?
