Labyrinth Restaurant

Fall Front Anomaly ②

Lisa came to the valley of an unpopular building, for some reason taken by a cosmos who was in Japan.

I thought we were going to talk here, and when I put magic through something like the golden key Cosmos took out of his handbag, oh wonder. Didn't a space hole leading to another world open up on the spot?

"Mr. Cosmos could have done this, too."

"No, it's not my power, it's the power of the tools I borrowed from the Demon King."

Apparently, the key to cosmos is the tool for inter-world transfer.

It's an artifact precious item, but the Demon King can do the same without the use of such tools. So, I was wondering if Cosmos found it in the warehouse of the Demon King's Castle and forgotten it as it was, and borrowed it as it was by calling the Demon King.

"So you speak Japanese with the power of some kind of tool?

"No? I just came here early this morning and remembered naturally as I was shopping and reading a few books"

Language acquisition seems to be self-reliant.

Besides, I was mastering in less than half a day from a state of zero preliminary knowledge.

Most of that is wasted because of too special a personality, but the specs of Cosmos, or homunculus, as an organism, it's awesome.

"Oh, and don't worry, the Japanese yen I used for shopping was a proper allowance from the Demon King."

Lisa was also slightly concerned, but Cosmos spoke as if she had prefaced that question. The clothes she is wearing and the contents of the shopping bags she has seem to be properly and legally purchased. Lisa is also relieved to find out that she didn't brainwash the clerk with magic or cheat him around with a mouthpiece.

"I mean, Mr. Cosmos, were you getting a penny from the Demon King?

"They're paying you, and to be honest, you don't have to, because if I don't get a penny, the economy in the Labyrinth City neighborhood will get worse."

"What do you mean?

Usually it doesn't look like that at all, but the Demon King is the richest man in the world. The daughter, Cosmos, can't help but say that she is a rich lady. Every month she receives a sizeable penny from the Demon King, apart from her salary.

Cosmos explained why:

When someone with money saves money in a kettle, the flow of the economy stagnates and the economy gets worse, but the Demon King only spends ordinary common people when his appetite is thin and he lets it go. Even though it is, money increases with tax revenues and other things, even if you are unwilling to make money from the Demon King.

So for the sake of the world, Cosmos spends money on behalf of the Demon King himself every now and again...?

And I said, "Spending money is like work in itself."

"I don't know... it's an amazing world"

I was talking about a world that Lisa's sense of money is very unimaginable.

A few months ago, the first salary offered by the Demon King when Lisa started working part-time was the word, not least because the Demon King didn't think anything of it, but because he wanted to spend a little money.

If Lisa still carries on negotiating a pay increase, the Demon King would pay 100,000 an hour, but a million, but he would be happy to pay. No, it's not even in the form of a salary, and I might just give it to Pong as it is. The Boulder Demon King doesn't (rarely) give a lot of money to strangers either, but on the contrary, if he's not someone else, he gives it away easily.

"Um, Mr. Cosmos. This isn't the point, is it? Uh, I don't know why I'm standing here."

"Oops, so is that. Then let's come."

The story has completely derailed me, but if I continue this story any longer, I may in vain stimulate the monetary greed in Lisa. I want money with Lisa, but there's something called a line that people shouldn't step over.

We forcefully cut the story, and the cosmos all headed to different worlds.

◆ ◆ ◆

The destination was a district in the corner of the labyrinth city lined with buildings used as warehouses for merchants.

Lisa doesn't have much to do around here either, so I've never been here.

We walked a little from there in the lead of Cosmos, and the two stopped in front of one building.

"I'm taking a room here, please come in"

The building, which Cosmos said and pointed to as such, was an inn where all the curtains were closed even though the sun was still high, a kind of facility used by so-called friendly men and women to "rest". You can also hear a slight sound of a woman whispering over the wall if the soundproofing treatment is inadequate.

It is a labyrinth city that is safe enough to assure you that it is the best in the world, but there is naturally more demand for facilities in its hands than there are for people.

Even knowing the existence of the facility in that hand as knowledge, Lisa and others who had not actually seen it up close were turning their faces bright red. If people say they have a room in a store like this, etc., I'm not at all comfortable with how many same-sex people.

"By the way, this question has no deep meaning at all, but are you interested in an easy job just counting the stains on the ceiling? And what do you think of the relationship between women?

"I'm leaving!

"Ha, it's a joke. It's really over there."

That's how Cosmos pointed to the restaurant district a few hundred meters away. Lisa passes through your compartment from time to time, so it's a reassuring area for once.

Lisa walked after Cosmos with a firm determination to escape without choosing means in case, and stopped in front of a teahouse. Lisa was a store she had never been in, but from what I've observed from outside the store, there are many guests with parents and children and just women, and it doesn't seem particularly suspicious.

"I've got a room in the back."

With that said, Cosmos walked into the back of the store with Swiss without waiting to be guided by the clerk. Apart from the open space you can see from the outside, there seems to be a private room seat.

"Um, can I come in on my own?

Even though they're making an appointment, there should be a step in the direction on the store side as well. I'm going to question Cosmos for behaving randomly in someone else's store as Lisa.

"Ah, owner, good job!

"Thank you for your hard work. Apparently, it's thriving."

Yeah, thanks to you.

A decent clerk saw Cosmos. No, I greeted him with the most salute. Apparently, this place wasn't someone else's store for Cosmos.

Lisa had thus been lured into the dominant place of Cosmos.
