Why He Hates Him (Wake)

"Oh, yeah. Let me tell you something."

On some nothingness day, Simon abruptly cut it out.

"I still like Alice."

I made another confession to Alice, like an extension of the public discourse, to make sure it was natural.

But compared to the previous ones, would you say that you have no feelings?

I didn't ask for anything in return, I just said what I thought.

I just remembered what I forgot to tell you.

I felt such powerlessness.

"Uh... thank you. But I'm sorry."

"You don't have to apologize. This is a story I'm done talking about. I already know you won't be able to respond."

Since her reunion with Simon, Alice has tried to keep her attitude as consistent as possible. Whatever was like some kind of awkwardness, I thought that doing so would eventually bring us back to our normal relationship.

I imagined Alice would be just as concerned with Simon, even if he didn't put it in his mouth, but apparently his thoughts were different from that.

"I just like it on my own. That's all."

Simon wasn't going to make an example confession.

Even if we don't get the results we want, we'll accept that.

On his reunion with Alice, he himself was not perplexed enough to be upset, I guess, due to the likeness of such a heart.

And for Simon today, confession (it) is just a pillow of talk.

This is where the real deal started.

"Alice, we're going to borrow a little demon king. Is the store okay?

"Yeah, that's okay..."

On this day, Simon rarely seems to have business with the Demon King, not with Alice.

"We're talking about men. What? It won't take long."

"O demon king, I hate you"

That Simon doesn't have good feelings for the Demon King is communicated directly from Simon's mouth the day we first met.

And for a long time, the Demon King didn't know why I hated him, but lately I finally realized what was causing it.

"Is that why Alice made me...?

"Don't underestimate me. No, at first I thought I didn't like you either, but not now. I hate you for a reason."

So I cut the word once, put it down for a beat, and then Simon asked.

"Demon King, when I told Alice I liked her before, how could you not be angry? You didn't even see me because I'm a kid? Or because no matter what, Alice was confident she would choose herself?

Simon denies the word by shaking his head sideways before the Demon King responds.

"No, you're not. No. I'm sure you... if Alice chooses someone other than you, and you think that'll make her happy, she'll pull herself away lightly?

"It's..."

What do you think?

The Demon King could not be instantly answered.

"Demon King, you should have been angry then."

The Demon King is not jealous.

I will spare no loss.

I'm not into winning.

I'm not obsessed with things.

I guess those are virtues, but they're too right. That's no longer poison.

"Demon King, I hate you. You're next to Alice... and I'm too serious."

Simon once again told the Demon King why he hated it.

If the Demon King was obsessed with Alice and trying to monopolize herself, it would still have been better.

I can't wait to get something that I want Simon, and I don't even want him, but I don't have to work for him. I don't like it because of that.

"... sorry"

"Don't apologize."

The Demon King, I'm sure he still doesn't fully understand, was thus explained and apologized for why Simon hates himself.

Most importantly, Simon poked at it, so the Demon King decided to thank him instead. Somehow, yes, but I thought we should.

"Thanks"

"Why are you thanking me?

"Yeah, well, you don't like me, but I like you."

"You idiot, don't say anything creepy"

Well, Simon felt somewhat refreshed when he spit out the complaints he had accumulated in his chest. The Demon King, too, is dull enough for him, but there seems to have been a thought.

"Yes, demon king. It's a different story, but what do you think of Lisa?

Simon, feeling a little better, asked that question.

It's always something I take care of, and at random, I thought I'd do one master filial.

"Huh? Hmmm...... they fit my taste, they're cute, they take care of me at the store, I think they're good kids"

"Then once in a while, I'll tell you in thanksgiving. If you don't put it in words, it won't tell you."

The Demon King was good at "I see" when he heard it.
