Espresso Afternoon

One afternoon, Simon and Lyme visited the Demon King's shop as usual. It's not like I have a promise arrangement, unless it's some bad weather or some special errand, it's become a habit at some point to have tea time like this.

"Well, what can I ask you for today"

"... n"

"What is it, Lime? What's the matter with you?

Sitting in the right seat and looking at the menu chart, a cosmos (large) came in from the store entrance traveling on a smooth moonwalk. Obviously a suspicious round-up, but this time is also available in the store, and I'm used to her quirks if she's a regular. I'm not even surprised who I am today because I'm relatively decent.

Well, unlike other adults, I may be able to watch them plainly because I still don't understand exactly what the extent of that freakiness is in the case of the young Simmons. For example, after the next decade or so, if you see the strangeness of Cosmos' head with something of common sense and discernment on your hands, you may have different feelings again... but for now, I still don't even remember that kind of isolation (not to mention the accuracy of the expression).

"Oh, isn't it Simon and Lime there?"

"Hmm. Cosmos, are you running errands for Alice or the Demon King?

"No, even if the paperwork is a paragraph away and you take a short break,"

And so Lime pounded the seat next to himself, a seat for four.

Apparently, he's recommending a full seat.

"Don't hesitate, then"

"Mmm."

Some types of people want to spend their breaks alone, avoiding the interference of others, but Cosmos prefers to be with someone in one way or another. I also had no reason to refuse the invitation, so I lowered my back to the seat next to Lime.

Then I told Alice who came shortly to order each of the three, and the goods were carried. Simon is ice cocoa. Lime is apple juice.

"What, that cup? Coffee, huh?

"No?"

"Yeah, it's the kind of espresso."

And what Cosmos asked for was espresso coffee.

It's not so uncommon today if it's just coffee, but how being in a small cup like a toy caught the kids' interest.

"Would you like to taste it?

Simon must be feeling how you two are doing, too. I slid the little cup sideways from before me and pushed it towards Lime and Simon.

…………

"Coffee..."

Honestly, for lime and simon, coffee without sugar or milk was not a delicious silo thing to think of. Is it something called "black and bitter hot water" as a candid feeling? The more you have patience and swallow, the less you can drink, but the more you lose your eyes at night and sleep on top of it not being tasty.

But even as far as they know, not many adults drink black coffee in a delicious way. It also applies to alcohol and so on, but some things make you see a little bit of goodness as you try certain foods and drinks over and over again.

Besides, if it's cafe ole with milk or coffee with more sugar, the simons will find it delicious too. Maybe my tongue is used to the bitter taste of coffee before I know it......?

"I'll have it...... Huh!?"

... Oh, my God, those sweet expectations were smashed with a lick instead of a bite.

Lime, who took the cup first, is breaking his usual faceless expression and tearing up his eyes for too much bitterness. It's a tremendous bitterness, going far above the bitterness of black coffee I assumed from my former experience.

"Wow, dull...... awesome"

The oligarchy lime has emphasized it by saying "wow" twice.

It's “awesome” and unusual to show such a reaction, which means it must have been bitter.

"Oh, not so..."

But when this happened, I had trouble as Simon.

Even though he gibbered up with one lick, there's no way he can get away with it more than Lime tried. No, it's not like there's a penalty where you refuse without drinking, but that makes it harder for you to make a wise decision by being mean as a man or confrontational or something like that.

Depending on what you think, a weirdly pressured back attack may be more disadvantageous than a forward attack that could be challenged without previous information. No, that's why it's not a battle or anything.

Read such an inner grid,

"Hehe."

Cosmos only turns his gaze like a prank, without daring to interrupt. No, it seems or nothing, I guess what you recommended to both of us is in itself her prank. Either one of them might have said no, but if these two were together, they'd drink even if they were willing and forced.

"... bitter!

Simon also put his mouth on the cup after the grid, and quickly let it go.

Well, naturally, naturally. In a kid's tongue about whether he can tolerate regular coffee somehow, I have to say that espresso is loaded with boulders.

Exactly the taste of adults. No, even adults who are used to coffee will be in a minority of taste lords who find espresso with no sugar in it truly delicious.

"What is this... the one who drinks because he thinks it tastes so good?

"Mmm, too much nigga"

Even though the coffee smells good in itself, the bitterness of the espresso seemed too harsh for the little one's tongue. Who likes and drinks this stuff? No, well, naturally there's this kind of coffee on the menu.

Now, when Cosmos pulls the cup back to his hand,

"It's cooled a little, but it's sweet and delicious. It works for fatigue."

When I put the sugar from the sugar pot on the tabletop into the dovadoba and enough bitter ~ espresso to feel sweet, it really looked delicious to drink up. If you add all that sugar, you won't even feel the bitterness alone stand out.

But if you try Simon and the others, they drank it patiently and bitterly, and that's how you drink it, Ali?... and that's how I feel unilaterally pushed to be unreasonable.

As a child-specific sensation, there is something like grown-up and cool about being able to eat bitter coffee and spicy dishes deliciously. Many people remember some sort of willingness to use sugar or milk if it's coffee, which is "losing".

Well, in fact, however, such assumptions are actually the proof left of "childishness," sweet or painful, but it is crucial in enjoying food that you know exactly what you prefer and don't force yourself.

"Mmm."

"Mmm, isn't that cheating somehow?

In the first place, the phrase "cheating" is stained because she is free to put sugar or not in what Cosmos ordered, but emotions are not necessarily rational and inseparable. I can't help but gather this kind of adorable protest at her having had plenty of sugar with just one person, but Cosmos would rather dish her out like that - in this case, would it be a tea contract instead of a dish - the way she enjoys it.

"Heh heh, 'cause look, isn't it bitter if it stays that way?

"Mmm."

"No, that's true though! Yeah, but!

Playing with my favorite friends (toys) with a flickering stream of protests, Cosmos had a great afternoon.
