Chapter 502 - 348: Tyrannical

When Jenny and Erica heard this, their faces instantly flushed bright red.

They were both mortified and annoyed.

They secretly blamed Xiaohua for bringing something like that up so openly.

’Isn’t this the kind of thing you’re supposed to do in secret?’

’Why did she have to let everyone know? How embarrassing.’

Upon hearing Xiaohua’s absurd suggestion, Feng Mountain spun around, flicked her on the forehead, and said irritably,

"Get lost. What kind of terrible idea is that? Telling me to get a second wife, a third, a fourth... Are you out of your mind?!"

"Ow!"

Xiaohua cried out, clutching her head with a pained expression.

Hu Zi, concerned for her, rushed over to check. Xiaohua, fighting back the pain, said aggrievedly, "Then what do we do? It’s not just your home that’s gone—we have nowhere to live now either."

SIGH!!

Feng Mountain heaved a deep sigh. The mere mention of the matter made his chest ache.

"What can we do now? We’ll just have to play it by ear. Let’s hope that Natasha doesn’t actually fancy me and will give Crown Territory back its peace and quiet."

Frank saw his chance. With a sly smile, he said in a relaxed tone, "Natasha’s not so bad, really. She’s not just gorgeous with a great figure—she’s also loaded. It’s no shame for you to marry into her family."

"I’d be the one *marrying* her, not being *married off* to her. That’s for a man who lives with his in-laws," Feng Mountain corrected Frank, his expression stern and a hint of displeasure in his eyes.

Just as he was about to retort, his phone suddenly rang in his pocket.

He pulled out his phone and saw it was an unknown number.

Feng Mountain’s brow furrowed slightly, a flicker of doubt in his mind.

After he answered, Natasha’s haughty voice came through the receiver, speaking in a tone that brooked no argument.

"I’m hungry. Come back and cook. I want steak from the Crown Territory ranch."

"How about some bull’s penis? Just you wait!" Feng Mountain snapped back irritably before hanging up. He looked at everyone in the room, his face a mask of despair on the verge of collapse, and demanded loudly, "Who gave her my number?"

Everyone’s eyes simultaneously turned to Frank.

Frank shrugged with an innocent look, spreading his hands. "She’s your fiancée. Was I not supposed to give it to her?"

His tone was self-righteous, as if what he’d done was perfectly reasonable.

He wasn’t exactly wrong. From a certain point of view, it wasn’t unreasonable for Natasha, as Feng Mountain’s fiancée, to ask for his phone number.

And yet, everyone felt something was off.

In their hearts, they still felt that what Frank had done was underhanded.

But for a moment, they couldn’t come up with any strong reason to refute him.

"Alright, you all carry on with the preparations for Christmas Eve. Don’t worry about this; I’ll handle it. Jenny, get two log cabins ready for Xiaohua and her group. I’m off."

Feng Mountain took a deep breath, an expression on his face like a man marching to the guillotine.

He pulled open the wooden door and strode out.

Outside, the polar night sky was pitch black, with only the dim yellow streetlights casting a faint glow.

The wavering light illuminated Feng Mountain’s desolate figure from behind, bathing him in a tragic glow. The sight was enough to stir a pang of bitterness in one’s heart, an inexpressible sense of bleakness.

"Poor Brother Mountain!" As she watched his departing figure, the corners of Xiaohua’s lips curved upward, but her tone was filled with sympathy.

The others all nodded in agreement.

....

The light filtering through the windows of the log cabin villa was dim and tranquil.

With mixed feelings, Feng Mountain passed through the hedge wall and stepped onto the garden path.

Just as he was contemplating the various torments Natasha had in store for him, the burly bodyguard, Beard, emerged from out of nowhere, planting himself before Feng Mountain like an iron tower.

Beard spoke in stiff, emotionless English.

"Apologies. A body search is required for entry and exit."

"!!!"

Feng Mountain’s eyes widened in fury. ’I have to be searched to enter my own home?!’

But he was in a position of weakness. It was just as the old saying goes: poverty crushes ambition. The sins of his elders were now a debt he, a member of the younger generation, had to repay.

Resigned to his fate, Feng Mountain wordlessly spread his arms, his reluctance written all over his face.

Beard stepped forward, his face impassive. He reached out with a rough, large hand and began to search Feng Mountain’s overcoat.

His search was extremely thorough, his hands moving inch by inch, leaving no corner unchecked.

When he felt the gun holster at Feng Mountain’s waist, the bodyguard’s eyes sharpened instantly, and his voice turned cold.

"No weapons allowed."

"I’m coming home," Feng Mountain retorted, though he knew it was pointless to resist. Suppressing his rage, he humiliatingly pulled out the holster and handed it over.

After taking the holster, Beard didn’t stop. He continued his search down Feng Mountain’s legs.

When he reached the ankles, he glanced up, his eagle-like gaze fixed on Feng Mountain, his eyes filled with vigilance.

Feng Mountain shrugged, putting on an air of nonchalance, and said with a deliberately provocative tone,

"I’m a Wilderness Hunter. It’s normal for me to carry a knife."

Beard lowered his head, his expression unchanging.

He lifted Feng Mountain’s pant leg, removed the Hunting Knife strapped to his boot, and then continued searching up from the calf.

As the search reached his groin...

Feng Mountain deliberately shivered, a wicked grin spreading across his face.

"Sorry, I can’t give you this weapon. It’s extremely dangerous. Of course, you can always choose not to let me in."

"That’s fine. I can chop it off now and sew it back on when you leave. I learned field first aid in the army; my trauma suturing is top-notch!" A corner of Beard’s mouth curled up. He gave it a deliberate squeeze and added unhurriedly, "Nice size."

’He’s actually serious?!’

Feng Mountain flinched involuntarily, a cold dread shooting up from his tailbone as he jerked backward.
